⚠️MY COMPUTER IS DYING⚠️

It has been suffering of stutters for months now, and now crashes my drawing tablet out of nowhere, forcing me to reset it over and over. Its memory is also almost at its limit. The screen frame is being held by tape. I think it's time for an upgrade. A new computer costs 2000€, and I'm looking to save enough before my computer just completely implodes. i haven't looked it up but just looking through other cards from the deck it's printed in i think it's because it's bc they retained the original set symbol while updating the card frame creating this weird anachronistic card, am i right?

you got it! But there's actually one more little thing that comes from this card being in 2000s border with a 90s set symbol: the card was always at uncommon but the original printing didn't have rarity colours. so the silver is a weird anachronism thing.

I absolutely love this stuff, people should ask me about white border kamigawa cards

what is this pink folder you speak of?

The pink binder is a Vault X binder which has had an accident. Several pages are pierced but, there’s nothing valuable in it.

Now, the contents? I promise it’s not a surprise to anyone who’s been following me I’m sure. It’s media such as stickers, TCG, playing cards and some fanart I’ve purchased over the years. There’s other things in there too but of course - Zarbon.

I know nothing here is ‘exciting’, but it’s just what I collect. Prior to collecting Zarbon I collected Roserade cards but there’s not too many of them.

Here are some pictures, I know some of the cards are damaged but I still enjoy having them nonetheless. Pretty sure some of the items are older than me and I’m 26.

A lot of these are from Buyee and OneMap- I won’t gatekeep. The rest either came from eBay, local conventions or CardMarket. They obviously sell the other characters as well, sometimes the cards are double sided as well.

The bottom two are just cool. One is a Dodoria card and the other Frieza. I’m sure if anyone has played Dokkan Battle they might recognise that as the same artwork used for the F2P Prime Battle Frieza.

By the way, the set its trying to fake is Stardust Overdrive from 2009! Something I also find interesting is that the translations all seem to be from the OCG / Japanese Naming (For example, Reptiless Viper is its OCG name, while it would be Reptilianne Viper in English.)

Does anyone know if this card is legit? I got it from a seller near a school

I read the ask of the one who said that will look on eBay for the Arven card, well I’ll suggest instead to use carmarket.com

I bought there all my cards and you can also choose the card’s language you prefer and which art of any card just put the name of the character or pokemon and the site will give them to you, also the prices are super good and the site orders them from cheeper to most expensive and such ✌🏻

Honestly I'd love to see more non-traditional duels in Yugioh (even just in fanfiction) like the one Yusei had when he, Bruno, and Sherry broke into the ME facility. They're just plain entertaining to watch.

I'm going to lose nerd cred points for this, but I've never gotten around to bothering with MTG before. But now I greatly desire the pretty playing card sized art of my BG3 faves. So how does a noob best go about buying individual cards? Are there particularly reputable websites for this?

ok so me neither my friend. we are sharing tadpoles rn. we are on the same wavelength. i've never bothered with mtg, it's too big a time/money investment and requires friends or the willingness to go to a shop and play with strangers, and that's just way too big an ask

however when i was buying the raphael cards i just looked up places to buy them. i ended up picking a random local game store to buy the singles from. i probably actually got ripped off because according to cardmarket they're worth like 2 pence lol and i think i paid like. 50 pence per card

anyway!! all of this to say - find a local game store online and order singles from them :) alternatively buy from a dealer on ebay. there might be other methods but a local game store has no incentive to rip you off & ebay has fairly robust buyer protection iirc.

... and even if you do get ripped off, chances are you'll have spent like less than £10, so
