Prisoner 012 Shi Rose

Your judgment was “innocent”, and as such her ideals were affirmed. With this “innocent” verdict, Shi is now treated as a warden ! If my hands weren’t fluffy I would’ve applauded you ! Thanks to you, she has quite the responsibility and as such has some power in the prison that’s why the prison got some « change ». She was also called but told me she didn’t sleep as long as you and already noticed the change in the prison. How pretentious of her. For your information, her trial is now postponed before the end of the trial. After all, you need to judge her as a prisoner and warden. Oh and she seems hostile against Caramel, I think something happened between her and Caramel, you already get why, right ?

Prisoner 013 Kyoki Yuai

Your judgment was “Conflicted”, and as such, she makes a choice.

With this choice, Kyoki has been quite different lately.. He was quite silent… and because of it, Prisoner 014 Hera Ai has been taking care of him to his heart content.

Well, thanks to Hera’s care, he seems to be fine and even talks again. He seems to depend on her for everything, wanting her attention every time. Well, a kid is a kid.

Prisoner 014 Hera Ai

Your judgment was “innocent”, and as such, her ideas were affirmed.

Because she was found “innocent”, Hera has been able to rest a lot !

Seeing Kyoki’s state, Hera have been taking care of him. And because you didn’t annoy her and respect your part of the contract with her, she seems ready to talk to you. But, the new situation of the prison quite angered her.

Prisoner 015, Shun Hikari

Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, his ideas were rejected.

With a “guilty” verdict, I can’t tell if that is because of the guilty verdict but he’s pretty broken right now…

Well, a lot happens between Shun and Shi.

As a new warden, Shi had to learn about the murder/story of each prisoner. Some prisoners didn’t answer like Caramel and Hera but Shi always found a way to get to get them to answers. In the case of Shun, being guilty restrain his freedom leaving him to his own… So with the help of Rin, both of them made him live a nightmare until he answers. Poor him… but seems like they didn’t get the answer they wished to hear.

Prisoner 016, Satoko Dokousousei

Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, her ideals were rejected. With the “guilty”, Satoko seems to be quite the miserable person. Being rejected was what she wanted, but because of it, she feels quite bored…

Prisoner 017, Akito Usotsuki

Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, his ideals were rejected. With the “guilty” verdict, Akito has started to feel a bit paranoid. This verdict and isolation reopened his old wounds making him despite everything if he could run away he would. Well, to be honest you were a bit of a meany with him. Was it that cool to surge your anger to him who actually just followed your rule?

Well,he also got tortured by Shi and Rin.

Prisoner 018, Caramel Sato

Your judgment was “innocent”, and as such, her ideals were already affirmed.

Caramel Sato is a prisoner having already received some changes because of Milgram. Your verdict could affect her but in that case it didn't. It seems both Shi and Muse have something against her. I tried to find the most suspicious behavior but she didn’t actually do much. Isn’t suspicious?

Prisoner 019, Muse Nakamura

Your judgment was “guilty”, and as such, his ideals were rejected. Ouch ! Muse really doesn't live the verdict well. He can’t even control himself anymore. A wreck full of emotion unknown of when or why he will blow up. Also learning that Caramel is the reason why he ended up like this made him cry for revenge but seeing that only HIM got punished has hurt his pride, creating a feeling of inferiority against the innocent prisoners.

Prisoner 20, Rin Fujiwara

Your judgment was “innocent”, and as such her ideals were affirmed.

With an « innocent » verdict, Rin seems to be quite happy to know you agree with her. Seeing that you didn’t forgive any male prisoners made her more comfortable in Milgram. Since you didn’t ask for anything Rin didn’t do much except apply to whatever Shi said. Why ? Maybe because she thinks both of you are the warden ? Or she just wanted to have fun ?

Warning(s): Cursing (it's Katsuki what are you gonna do), bad baking terminology, maybe ooc idk, reader is referred to as female like once- Kiri calls her ma'am, reader compliments Katsuki's ass lmao, just fluffy in general though, class 3-A, reader is in the hero course.

This was it. Tomorrow, your plan would finally be put in motion.  

It was the 19th of April, and to say the very least, you were stressed.  

Stressed might not be the word for it. More like anxiety, excitement and fear into one overwhelming emotion that you couldn't convey into words. Tomorrow was Katsuki’s 18th birthday. And everything had to be perfect.  

You sat in your dorm room, thumbing the pages of the cookbook you so loving made him, picturing his own rough hands touching the book the same way when you gave it to him. Your heart warmed at the thought- your boyfriend never ceased to give you butterflies, even without intending to.  

Doubt plagued your mind however- what if he didn’t like it? What if he thought it was too dumb, or too simple- should you have done more?!  

No, you scold yourself. You needed to trust yourself. You knew Katsuki well- he excelled in the extravagant, but he still found joy in the smaller things.  

Still... you couldn’t help but worry. This would be a big day for him-a huge milestone. You didn’t want to mess it up.  

Setting the cookbook down, you finally place it into the bag you had for him, jet black with orange stuffing. The small action put the whole situation into perspective for you.  

This was finally happening. 

But you still had work to do today. Pulling out your phone, you open the messaging app, and click on the contact you needed.  

You: Mission Keep Katsuki Away is a go >:) 

Kiri🥊: Yes ma’am >:)) 

Turning off your phone, you pocket it, and leave your dorm room. All that was left to do was the cake.  

After slaving through the school day, you all return to your dorms, with the exception of Kirishima and Katsuki, the former dragging the latter away for something he called “a bro date”. You chuckled at his excuse, and left them to their own devices as you returned to Heights Alliance, sending a text to Kirishima as you walked.  

You: Hey! What’s your status? 

Kiri 🥊: Just got to the bus! I’ll keep him busy as long as I can 

You: Perfect!! 

You: Thank you so much again 

Kiri 🥊: No problem! He’s going to love it, you put so much work into making this special for him :D 

You: Aww...thanks Kiri! Fingers crossed 😭 

You weren’t terrible at baking per se, but you weren’t no Sato. And you would ask him to make the cake himself, but you didn’t want to ask too much of anyone.  

So it was up to you. You wanted to make a small two-tiered cake, it would be enough to feed all of 3-A and hopefully there would be leftovers.  

Sifting through the pantry you found what you needed one by one. Cocoa powder, dark cocoa powder, eggs, milk, butter, flour, baking soda, the list went on. You were making a chocolate cake, covered in dark chocolate ganache, drizzled with caramel. Katsuki wasn’t a big fan of sweets, and you knew that, but cake was cake. You also knew that he secretly did have a sweet tooth so he wouldn’t be too upset. Hopefully the bitterness of the dark chocolate would make the rest of the cake a little less sweet to align with the explosive blond’s tastes.  

Grabbing three large bowls and the mixer Sato let you borrow, you get to work, mixing wet and dry ingredients separately, cracking eggs, melting chocolate, and whisking like your life depended on it.  

While you baked, you popped in an earbud, sweet music, lifting your mood and dancing around the kitchen, in your own world.  

And hour later, the two tiers of the cake were in the oven, (not before tasting the batter yourself of course) and you look around at the kitchen, the adrenaline rushing out of you. It was a mess. The was flour in your hair, on your face, and you’re pretty sure the cocoa powder on your shirt is going to stain.  

You sigh, taking off your earbuds and pausing the music from your phone. At least the cake was done.  

Grabbing the cleaning supplies from the closet, you get to work, making sure the kitchen was spotless so no one (namely Katsuki, for obviously reasons, and Ochaco and the self-proclaimed Bakusquad because they would beg you to have a taste of their own) would know what you were up to.  

The cakes were done by the time you finished, taking them out of the oven and sealing the two layers together with some ganache.  

You had asked Mr. Aizawa to reserve Gym Gamma for you previously, getting his permission to decorate the space for the party, and so you made your way there now, deciding to decorate the cake in the Gym itself so you wouldn’t have to move it afterwards.  

You got Ochako to float the cake and the toppings for it to the gym itself, so in the meantime, you busied yourself with setting up all the food- something you didn’t want to do yesterday as it would’ve gone stale.

You recruited the help of Kaminari, Sero, Mina and Kyoka to help you carry everything- including the mini fridge you saved up to buy to store the food and drinks overnight. You’d take them out the next morning.

When you got there, you were surprised to see Midoriya, Todoroki, Tsu, Iida, and Momo there alongside Ochako who explained they all wanted to help. 

You feel your smile stretch across your face, happy to see so many people who wanted to give Katsuki the best birthday ever.  

Splitting up the work, Midoriya, Todoroki and Iida went to go find the plates, cups, bowls, and cutlery you bought with Mitsuki - something you thought may have been overkill, but she had planned everything down to a T.

The others flitted around, either helping to put food or drink items into the fridge, or checking to make sure nothing happened to the decorations overnight.

You took to decorating the cake. Pouring the ganache over the first tier, you used it as an adhesive of sorts and you lifted the second layer on top of it. Once you did that, you poured the remaining ganache over the entire cake, evenly, so it created a pretty coat on top that you were sure it would add a nice crunch to the cake itself.

You groaned, stabbing your spatula into the quickly hardening ganache, having to ask Todoroki to heat it up every few minutes so that it wouldn’t harden completely- an annoyingly tedious task, but you knew Katsuki hated the taste of frosting- so hopefully he would appreciate the favor.

You waited for it to harden, then adding drizzles of caramel everywhere, and strategically placing strawberries where you could for a refreshing change in flavor.

And then lastly, adding thin golden candles to the cake, ten on the bottom row, and seven on the top. Momo created a special candle shaped like one of his gauntlets that you put in the center of the circle of seven candles on the top. And finally, you were done.

Momo made another contraption for you, a tall glass dome with temperature settings that you would put on the cake to prevent the strawberry from going bad overnight. After setting the cake on its stand, you put the dome over it, thanking Momo for her help.

It was then when you received two texts.

You open the first one, snorting when you read what it has to say.  

Katsu 💥🧡: Oi, I know you’re up to something- Shitty Hair just dragged me to the damn movie theater to watch some stupid Crimson Riot movie. 

You: Aww it couldn’t have been that bad!! 

You: Can’t the all mighty Lord Explosion Murder God Dynamight survive a short movie date? 

You: Plus I told you- I'm not up to anything lmao 

Katsu 💥🧡: I call bullshit 

Katsu 💥🧡: Plus that movie was three damn hours- short my ass 

You: To be fair, you do have a nice ass 

You: I KID I KID  

You: But I promise you’ll get extra cuddles when you get back my big baby 

Katsu 💥🧡: Fuck off 

Katsu 💥🧡: Meet me at my dorm after dinner

Katsu 💥🧡: And don’t think I’m letting at comment about my ass go 

You can’t stop the amused smile from spreading across your face as you check the other text message, one from Kirishima this time.  

Kiri 🥊: Hey! We’re about 15 minutes away- we'll be back around 18:32 PM 

You: Kiri jesus christ- you tell me this now?! 

Kiri: Sorry!! 

You put your phone down, yelling at everyone to finish up and get back to the dorms as soon as possible, people scrambling around to put the finishing touches together before bolting out of the gym, you along with them.  

Thankfully, you all made it back in time, flopping down on the couches just at the door opens to reveal a beaming Kirishima and a grumpy Katsuki.  

The latter raises an eyebrow at all of you, sending a narrow-eyed glare at you. 

“Why’re ya so outta breath?” He grunts suspiciously and you chuckle sheepishly in return.  

“Mina challenged Kaminari and Sero to go a piggyback race against Todoroki and Iida.” You laugh, the lie rolling off your tongue as the others nod in agreement. 

“We totally won.” Sero says smugly, and Todoroki sends him a confused look.  

“But-”  

Kaminari cuts him off, slinging his arm around the heterochromatic eyed boy nonchalantly. “It’s not winning if you use your quirk Todo-bro.” 

Katsuki rolls his eyes, all interest in the conversation out the window, as he starts making dinner for everyone, something he started doing a while ago when he lost faith in 3-A's ability to not burn the kitchen down.  

After you all settled down and ate, you and Katsuki returned to his room, making yourself comfortable in his bed as he joins you, pulling you close and letting his sore muscles melt into your embrace.  

You, however, couldn’t force yourself to relax, your body buzzing with excitement as tomorrow would arrive.

Monoma x Reader, Hurt/Comfort

It was a beautiful day outside. Layered clouds in the sky with blue peeking through and the sun was hidden behind the clouds so it wouldn't hurt to look up at the clouds.

You would've been in the mood to do so, if not for the fact that...

...

...that Monoma got himself hurt today.

On the day he was supposed to go on a date with you.

You had gotten all dressed up; the outfit that made you feel good about yourself, all your favorite accessories, and even a bit of help from Setsuna, Mina, Hakagure, and some of the other girls that offered to help, and what did he do?

Get one of his legs broken during training because he taunted his opponent a little too much. One of the more volatile ones, probably. Maybe Sato on accident during his Quirk use, or Bakugo. Maybe Izuku, he could get scarily angry when his classmates were being made fun of. Or practically anyone.

However, it was on accident. You knew he didn't mean to, that he looked forward to this date as much as you did. That he didn't mean to leave you hanging. That he didn't mean to...

Thinking about it more was just upsetting, along with the idea of him being hurt. Of looking hurt and vulnerable when he was confident and cute and strong despite what he always tells his friends.

You stood up, forcefully shaking off the gloom that had settled over your thoughts.

This time, you're going to be the one spoiling him and not the other way around, along with a sticky surprise.

Freshly baked, still sticky from the bakery, and just-packaged. And, of course, paid for by Shoto's dad using his credit card.

You ran to the nurse's office while licking your fingers of the sweet goodness that somehow got onto your hands.

Running, running, running, oh hi Iida, running faster!

You slammed the door open to the infirmary, death-glaring at a robot who beeped before letting you pass. Probably the facial recognition made it do so and not your grimace.

The door closed behind you, effectively preventing Iida from scolding his way after you into the infirmary.

Unlike your rather violent entrance, the way you walked past the other rooms in the infirmary was rather quiet in comparison. Only when you came to a specific room with 物間寧人 next to the room name, you knew he was there.

So, immediately, with the sweetest smile on your fact that you could muster, you broke in.

Well, not exactly, but close enough.

Monoma's eyes widened as he saw you. Windswept hair, slightly disheveled clothing, a bag in hand, and a smile on your face that sent shivers up his spine, he knew he was in for a lot of trouble.

"Oh... um, hey, darling! Sorry that I-"

"Date."

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Our date."

A cold sweat ran down his body at your tone. Today was date day? Today, date day. And he had to stay in the infirmary to get healed up fully. On date day.

Oh, he screwed it up, didn't he?

He always did, like that class training battle where he got himself captured and was unable to do anything and his class lost.

Like the training camp where he had to stay behind to redo his tests and couldn't help anyone, and everyone got hurt.

Like the battle, where he just stood there and-

He was cut out of his spiraling with a jolt of pain as you settled on his lap and huffed in annoyance as you tried to find a comfortable position that didn't make him wince.

"What're you doing, my dearest? I thought you were angry with me!"

"I am." You responded curtly, opening the bag and revealing what he immediately recognized as canelés. You picked one up, the sheen of caramelized crust glistening even in the infirmary's light...

And you ate it right in front of him.

"These actually taste pretty good. The vanilla custard is nice, mild, and rich at the same time. The crust is crunchy, with the caramelization making it both chewy and crunchy at the same time along with giving it a slight burnt taste to even out the sweetness. And the pastry itself..."

"Darling, stop, please! You know I can't take anymore!"

He could feel himself drooling despite the fact that canelés weren't even his favorite dessert. Maybe it was how you described it to him, how your lips and tongue pressed against the pastry and the way you savored it right in front of him.

Doubled with the fact that you were on his lap, too? Torture.

"Well, I know one way we can share these."

"...pleeeeaaase?"

He saw how you tried your best to keep that angry face, to prevent the softness from breaking through your cold expression. Your lips trembled, but your eyes had already softened as you placed another canelé on your lips and held it there.

"You already know."

His posture relaxed at the fact that you'd let him off easy this time as you moved closer and leaned closer so he didn't have to move much. His crotch had quite a bit of pressure against it from your weight, though that was something that couldn't be avoided.

Monoma took his chance before you could pull away, biting into the pastry bit by bit before he pressed his lips against yours. Despite everything, the taste of your lips was always the best out of everything he's ever tasted.

With the way you melted against him, he was sure you'd forgive him in no time...

The kiss was brief, however, and you grabbed him by the shoulders to announce something.

"Two more dates this week."

Un-negotiable, it seems.

"I'm always up for spending more time with you, my muse~"

"You aren't sweet-talking your way out of this, mister!"

"Oh, but I can. Remember all the times I did so?"

The tension in the air all but disappeared at the teasing remarks he said to you, and the sarcastic but affectionate ones you said back to him.

If he could spend more time like this with you, just you and him teasing each other and eating desserts, he'd be the happiest hero alive.

But he knew you'd basically scold him to death if he did this on purpose repeatedly. So he'd stick with regular dates, and-!

"Darling! What-?"

"Payback!"

And regular nibbles, not ones that left hickeys!

MHA Characters at Coffee Orders:

Characters: Bakugo, Midoriya, Todoroki, Kirishima, Kaminari

Just my take as a coffee shop manager on what the character would order. If you have anyone else you want to see in part two or just talk about coffee.

Bakugo

Bakugo doesn't like his drinks sweet. He prefers a black coffee most days, but will switch it up and get a latte or cappuccino with cinnamon powder. Once, after being badgered by Kirishima and the barista, he tried a white mocha latte with cinnamon syrup. He won't admit it to anyone but he really likes that drink and will only get it if he's alone and that specific barista isn't there that day.

Midoriya

Izuku is also very basic with his coffee choices. He enjoys light flavors like vanilla and honey in his lattes, but also has no problem being adventurous and trying something with caramel in it. If there's a drink that's being sponsored by a prohero, trust me, he will try it ten times over just to analyze it. During the summer, he will get his go to drinks in cold brew form.

Todoroki

To no one's surprise, he loves iced drinks. Iced coffee, cold brews, frozen lattes: he loves them all. He doesn't care if it's below freezing outside, he wants his drink COLD. He also has a small sweet spot for iced chais with vanilla and sweet foam on top.

Kirishima

Has the biggest sweet tooth (when it comes to coffee. Sato doesn't like coffee!) in class 1-A and has no problem ordering the sweetest thing on the menu. He has tried every combination of thick sauce his go-to cafe has. He's even combined them all and loves it. He also enjoys iced drinks but will order hot drinks if it's freezing outside. He also enjoys trying the seasonal flavors whenever possible.

Kaminari

Will try to flirt with the barista for something "sweet" like them and will definitely get a lukewarm, decaf, black coffee in response. He loves fruity energy drinks and Italian sodas. He adds popping pearls and jelly topping to any drink that he can. If you do see him with a coffee based drink it's only because of his failed attempt at flirting or he asked Bakugo to grab him a drink, and you'll never find Bakugo ordering none of that "fru-fru nonsense" that Kaminari likes to drink.

My friend and I got into a lengthy discussion into what MHA characters smell like so here are the findings.

First we got the students we could come to an agreement on.

Midoriya: Sweat. He washes well everyday but he is working out 24/7 and that comes with consequences. 3/10

Bakugo: If I am not mixing fanon and canon he canonically smells like caramel. Lucky bastard. 9/10

Uraraka: Cheap strawberry shampoo. 7/10

Todoroki: Lavender. He doesn’t do anything special but he probably has a really nice detergent. 8/10

Iida: Minty. He probably uses really strong smelling toothpaste and mouthwash. 8/10

Asui: Moist. She has frog mucus so she smells like a frog, and from a quick google search it seems like they just smell wet and earthy. 4/10

Mina: Bubblegum. I know I just connect her with this because she’s pink, but pink is her hero brand so I think she would play into it. 6/10

Kirishima: Old spice deodorant. He stocks up on what he considers the most manly of products. 6/10

Yaoyorozu: Expensive vanilla perfume. 10/10

Sato: Whatever he last baked. Probably vanilla or chocolate. 10/10

Ojiro: His whole bit is that he is really normal, so I don’t feel like he would have a distinctive scent. 5/10

Hagakure: Some sort of sweet-smelling perfume. 10/10

Mineta: Strongly of BO. 1/10

Koda: Hay, because of his bunny. 5/10

Jirou: Honey or some other nice smelling body wash. 7/10

Aoyama: Roses. It’s nice but he probably puts it on too strong. 8/10

Next some of the teachers/pro heroes.

All Might: Hopes, dreams, and blood. He is constantly coughing up blood, just because he uses really nice smelling body wash and deodorant it is not enough for him to get a good score. 3/10

Midnight: Sexy perfume, she constantly smells like she is on a date. 10/10

Aizawa: He doesn’t care that much about how he presents himself but he would never allow himself to smell bad. He doesn’t really have a distinctive smell. 5/10

Present Mic: Despite putting in more effort than Aizawa they smell pretty much the same. 5/10

Nezu: Tea. 8/10

Endeavor: The same as Todoroki. 8/10

Hawks: Really nice cologne. 10/10

Best Jeanest: Fresh laundry smell. 10/10

Now for the villains. Due to the LOV being on the run most of the time none of them are going to smell good, but some happen to do better than others.

Shigaraki: 1/10

Twice: 1/10

Toga: She hates smelling bad and would douse herself in perfume if possible, but that is not a current option. The addition of blood takes her down a notch. 2/10

Dabi: Burnt flesh. 1/10

Spinner: Since he is a lizard I don’t think he would sweat, but his clothes still probably smell bad. 3/10

Overhaul: Strongly of antiseptic. 3/10

Oooooh maybe Sato bakes something with caramel in it and burns it. No one understands why Izuku froze up and started silent sobbing until Bakugo stomps into the room with hands crackling and smelling of burnt sugar.

Just,,,little izuku who replaces his abusive father with older Bakugo.

Little Izuku who while they might not remember their friends exactly they remember how they felt about them.

Little Izuku that instantly trusts all of them except Bakugou.

Little Izuku who is all laughter and bright smiles before Bakugou comes back after training and is suddenly quiet and scared.

for starters my mbti is istj — i'm kinda of an introvert, moreover of a logical side person, can be quiet and a little too serious about everything (or call it slow if you'd like too lmao). usually i'm in my own world, listening to music or watching some movie since i'm very much passionate about both. i have a tomboyish look (?) and like to see myself as someone responsible and independent as well since i'm a older sister of two. i can come off as rude sometimes, not very much of a softie, making me also not a huge fan of physical affection. i am a little nerd about things i love and can go for hours when something of my enjoyment is mentioned. for physical aspects i'm 5'3, have very short brownish hair and for the eyes the same color but more caramel-like. i use glasses, absolutely despise bugs and i prefer savory than sweet food. i don't know how to deal much with people who are the opposite of me, whose more sensitive and emotional, but that's something i'm working hard on!

in order it would be: quality time, giving/receiving gifts, acts of service, words of affirmation and for the last one physical touch.

listening to music probably is my top one! but i also do enjoy a good walk in nature, taking a nap or watching a long movie (i might be a cinephile... i guess...) my favorite season is autumn, probably because i like the merge of cold and sunny weather together. i adore photography and really plan working with it someday! and if it doesn't work out i would like to become a first grade teacher since i'm somewhat good with kids.

How i think these characters would like their coffee.

(not their actual order because I don't know coffee because I hate coffee)

I'm writing this at 12am lmao

Characters: Class 1-A without Mineta

Izuku: sugar. Man needs energy, so sugar. Anything with sugar really. Energy drinks, coffee, that shot stuff. Maybe the type of coffee that's cold and with whipped cream and caramel..

Uraraka: actually drinks it a good amount, and also likes plain simple cups, but most times with more sugar than normal

Tsuyu: very sugary, and not hot but warm. Like soft cafes and those types of coffee with the hearts made out of cream in the mugs

Iida: uhm, no. Doesn't mind it, but really doesn't like drinking it. I mean he'll take a few drinks of someone else's but he won't drink one himself for many reasons.

Momo: usually goes for tea but can appreciate a warm sugary cup of coffee, or iced coffee

Shoto: doesn't drink it, only tried once and that's because Class 1-A convinced him to try it. He didn't really like it, likes water

Katsuki: doesn't drink coffee, rather have water tbh

Kiri: not big on coffee, but in the middle of sugary and ... Not sugary

Denki: SUGARSRFS!!!! Loves having coffee most days, and it has to be sugary. If it's not almost white, he's not drinking it.

Sero: doesn't really like coffee but will drink it if he really wants it, or someone really wants him to take a few sips. He likes energy drinks, no thank you coffee

Mina: also doesn't really drink coffee, only energy drinks. That's if she needs more energy since she's really energetic

Shinsho: loves coffee, drinks it like it's a blood supply. Usually you'll see him with coffee in hand, probably an iced coffee too

Monoma: he doesn't need any type of energy drinks or coffee really, he just runs on pure spite and annoyance. But if he had to choose, iced or soft and warm cup of coffee. Also if we're talking with Shinsho then he would steal sips of his coffee....

Shoji: doesn't drink coffee either, mostly drinks water but does take sips of Tokoyami's drinks :))

Tokoyami: black coffee if anything, I don't even really think he likes it, just that it matches his vibe so he drinks it if he can't have a monster or something.

Koda: drinks soft, warm, and sugary coffee, very safe and comfy vibes, also likes cafes..

Ojiro: iced coffee or the type that's 'cold and with whipped cream and caramel' like Izuku

Jiro: like energy drinks, doesn't like coffee, will not drink it.

Hagakure: iced or or warm sugary cup of coffee, but didn't drink a lot of coffee, she has a bad sugar crash

Aoyama: ehhh... Not his favorite,, probably would only drink a warm cup of coffee with the cream design in it, only when he needs it

Sato: SUGAR. Do you know him? Always likes sugar, coffee is no different, likes it very sugary. I'm thinking of a certain thing but idk how to describe it...

i think satoru is more of an iced coffee type of guy :333 he loves things like mochas and cappuccinos (of course more on the sweeter side regardless of how much sugar is already in them) anddd he like those colorful coffee drinks at his favorite cafes :33 even if he ends up not liking them, the colors catch his eye and they look really pretty so he wants to try them anyway <<33 he loves the whipped cream and caramel or chocolate drizzle or when they have little sprinkles or decor on them 😋

and SUGURUU is more into hot coffee <3 he has a pretty little thermos (with a silly little pattern on it but he loves it because satoru gave it to him 😼) and he really loves when it’s cold especially because he likes how it keeps his hands warm (and satoru ALSO likes how it keeps his hands warm 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻 <<<3333) he doesn’t make his coffee too sweet, not TOO bitter like a straight black coffee either unless he needs to sort of jumpstart himself?? On a scale of 1(bitter) to 10(sweet) (with 5 being like a perfect balance) suguru probably prefers a 4 :333

Higurashi When They Cry Hou Ch. 4 Himatsubushi pt. 5

Part of me wonders if I should have broken up that wall across two parts. But I wanted to try to keep my thoughts together and not just put a bunch of thoughts and theories across several posts you know? I want to just be able to point at one post in particular with my theories. Anyhoo...

During this part of the meeting where they never outright say the Sonozaki family had anything to do with the kidnapping I remembered that there was a TIP in chapter one that made mention of some Sonozaki holding a position in the government. So I think it's reasonable to assume that even if they're not responsible for the kidnapping of the grandson, they very definitely could have someone in close to the minister.

Uh-oh Akasaka!

"They all couldn't have been good enough actors to hide their hostility." Yeah man, it's not like there was an entire bus filled with people who were eyeing you suspiciously and with open contempt that you remarked upon. There's just no way! And so this chapter ends with Sato warning Akasaka that the jig is up, and everyone is onto him. But that's fine, he can deal with that in the morning.

In the TIPS the police from Tokyo seem to be zeroing in on the fact it's probably the Onigafuchi Guardians who were behind the kidnapping.

I'm a firm believer that if people possessed the ability to save scum in real life they absolutely would.

Should've gone with the red box first, caramel rules. Gum sucks. This brief foray into human psychology aside, let's move on to the Glint in the Demon's Eye.

Well I guess that settles that, Oryou is dead. She did not live to see Watanagashi 1983. Sucks.

So I guess Keiichi was right after all in Tatarigoroshi, Mion absolutely could've had Teppei Houjou killed at a word. But I wonder why she didn't, gotta limit your killings to once or twice a year? Have to make sure to not draw suspicions by just having everyone who looks at you crooked or annoys you whacked? Or maybe they're letting the boy go without a mark on him? That's not really the vibe I got from this particular exchange. And I don't remember them saying what the result overall was for the kidnapping when they mentioned it in Watanagashi.

Gotta say, I like the pace this chapter is running at.

' Happy Birthday, ' Akira signed after setting the caramel apple cake on the table. Sato helped them with the recipe since he was more experienced with baking than cooking.

As they chatted over the small gifts the others had gotten him, a look of realization crossed Fumikage's face. "When are your birthdays, Hitoshi and Akira?"

Akira winced and glanced to Hitoshi, who casually said, "I don't like to celebrate mine, but it's July 1st."

' October 10th and same, ' Akira followed up.

Koda gasped and looked between them, "You didn't tell anyone? We could always have a late celebration."

"We're saying no," Hitoshi drawled, his voice taking on an edge.

Fumikage's feathers ruffled but he nodded, "It would do little to celebrate an event they don't wish to celebrate."

After the small party, the group headed to the Samhain celebration. Fumikage warned them ahead of time they didn't need to contribute anything to the ancestor table if they didn't want to, which Akira was grateful for. The last thing they wanted to do was draw the attention of the very ancestors responsible for the Wren empire. Many elements of the ritual were similar to what was said during Mabon, but the energy felt different.

The next day, Akira went to the faculty costume party with the Yamazawas. They were dressed in their hero costume minus the tassels to go as Eraser Head. Aizawa and Hitoshi wore some low-effort cat costumes, Eri dressed as Moana, and Yamada... Akira wasn't sure what he dressed as until he explained.

"There's an old musical called Phantom of the Opera, and this is what the phantom looks like," he grinned. "It's even one of the few musicals with a sequel."

At the party, Akira spotted Katsuki in an All Might costume near Thirteen. They'd seen the space hero a couple times out of costume in the teachers' lounge, and that night their hair was even more sparkly as they seemed to be dressed as space itself. A glance at Aizawa confirmed he was expecting Katsuki. Oh. Akira relaxed slightly as they realized this is what the Bakugo's being handled meant.

Mortis tapped their coms as the dealers arrived. They deftly slunk along the rafters, watching for any protection they might bring. A clone in the bugout location kept their invisibility up, but Mortis was keenly aware of the creaks and odd sounds rafters could make. After a few minutes with no new shapes joining them, they shifted to analyze what quirks they could make out.

Increased paranoia when closer to Moon Mask. No visible ranged weapons and no gloves. Probably some kind of Blaster. Average civilian, no threat. One of Spore Charge's lackeys, the one with shocking roses . Mortis jotted down the details as the new weapons were exchanged and slipped out the window. They shot a tracker onto the case before doubling back to follow the dealers. Mortis briefly wondered at the civilian with them but easily dismissed the thought. Why wouldn't they be here?

Mortis dropped back a few streets as they started taking circuitous routes, keeping an eye out for where they looked to avoid scrutiny. Before going outside their clone's range, Mortis ducked next to an access hutch, melding into the shadows as they dropped the clone. Moments later, they continued their tail, clocking their hideout and watching for a few minutes to make sure they stayed before making their way back.

As they typed up their report, Akira stared at the screen. They waved over Mouse and asked, ' Have you heard of a quirk like this? Definitely reads as Stranger. '

"Shit, kid, are you okay?" Mouse looked over them with wide eyes. "That's Joe, one of the urban legends around here. No one knows who he is, and it's almost impossible to stick him with anything. He's always perceived as just your average person who isn't a threat."

Akira nodded slowly, mulling over the idea. ' Does it work when perceived through video? '

"Recording technology malfunctions around him, so we're not sure," Mouse shook faer head. "If he's involved, we need pairs for this. I'll make sure I'm on night shift with you when I can be."

Before logging off, Akira saw the email finally come through from police forensics. They didn't find any matches, so they sent the prints off to their in-house department to check over the weekend. With any luck, they would match even a set of unidentified prints on another case. That would at least give some idea of the victim's status.

On Sunday, as they were about to leave the Yamazawas, Akira saw a call from the Fat Gum Agency. They immediately picked up and signed ' work study ' while heading to their room.

"Hi, is this Umbra Mortis?" one of the techs asked. Their mind raced with possibilities as they confirmed. "This is about the fingerprints you sent over on Friday. They only have one match right now, and it's from the League of Villain's former hideout in Kamino Ward."

Akira froze and snapped their Mortis mask into place as they distantly thanked the tech and asked them to tag it to Giran's case number before hanging up. They immediately called Haru to share the news and tried Dabi a couple more times before sitting on their bed. He's alive. You know he was alive when they took the finger. If they were going to kill him, they wouldn't be sending pieces. You still have time .

"Mori?" Aizawa knocked on the partially open door. "Is everything alright?"

Mortis shook their head and haltingly signed, ' Broker's alive. The severed finger at the Shie Hassaiki compound was his. It's gotta be a message. I need to start narrowing down- '

Aizawa gently took their hands as he crouched in front of them. "We'll figure it out. For now, can you breathe for me?"

Mortis took an unsteady breath as they realized they had forgotten to breathe. Their mask cracked briefly before they reset. You can take the moment when this is over.

"Make sure you decompress," Aizawa reminded them, concern furrowing his brow. "Zashi and I are on room check duty this week."

' Giran's finger was wrapped in this, and I'm working with Cypher on decrypting it. '

"Do we have any theories on why he was taken or by whom?" Taishiro asked while looking over a copy of the message.

'Once another finger is dropped, we should have a better idea, but for now we could only guess,' Akira clarified. 'There might be Yakuza ties with the drop location, but that could have a number of meanings.'

"Couldn't it just be a rival?" Kirishima asked, half-raising his hand.

Akira shook their head but Taishiro responded instead, "Giran's too important to the underworld, kid. He hasn't had a rival in over a year. They always go missing and are never seen or heard from again."

' He recruits them, ' Akira corrected and fought back a flinch when Taishiro snapped his attention to them. ' There have only been three threats to his power since he became the Broker, and all three were quickly brought into his network. If someone was that bold, they would be taking advantage of the chaos instead of letting it fester. '

Friday evening, another finger was dropped near one of the Hosu City stops on the Chuo Expressway. The encapsulating note followed the same encryption method but seemed disjointed from the first. Jinx dropped off a mostly in-tact weapon at the agency through a runner, and there were a few partial Tinker signatures. Nothing identifiable, but they could potentially be matched with a side-by-side comparison.

What seemed like the second finger was found on Sunday in the alley Stain was apprehended. Akira cursed and called Taishiro to double-check the exact locations of the expressway finger. ' They're targeting the League, ' Akira paced up and down their room. ' That would eliminate most of the underworld since they have AFO's backing and Blue Fang backed off. The rogue heroes or heroes who don't care about pr theories are starting to make more sense, but why now? '

"I'll see if Jinx can pick up anything from her contacts and reach out to Sir Nighteye since he has a bit more context on the League case," Taishiro offered as he typed away. His expression softened as he paused and looked at them. "How are you holding up?"

' Stressed but glad we finally got something, ' Akira replied before shaking out some of their excess energy. ' We should start watching other places the League has made a splash. That's probably where the next finger will be. '

He nodded, but his brow furrowed a moment before a look of understanding passed over his face. "I take it you haven't seen the news today? Looks like a suicide pact made its rounds again."

Akira froze, memories flashing of Quirkless younger than them on buildings with shoes to the side. ' Quirkless? ' At his nod, they sighed and sat on their bed. ' Probably why Eraser was keeping us off the news today then. I need to check in with some people. '

Akira barely acknowledged Taishiro's goodbye before they hurriedly messaged Haru. He knew a couple of the kids, and Blue Fang was keeping a close eye on their Quirkless members for the time being. Midoriya and Aoyama were hanging out with Dekusquad, and Akira almost put away their phone but hesitated. After a moment, they opened their chat with Anka.

snowflake : hey, I just saw the news. Anyone you know?

whysosirius : no u?

snowflake : no, you safe?

whysosirius : yeah, we've got a vigil tonight

for them and us

snowflake : good, I'll be back at the dorms tonight

Akira walked back out to the living room and, after giving Eri a head pat and praising her drawing, went to the office. They knocked on the open door as Aizawa and Yamada looked up.

"Do you need something, little listener?" Yamada asked, bright smile faltering slightly.

' I appreciate the sentiment of keeping the news off today, ' Akira started, looking away at their winces. ' But when shit like this happens, there are a number of people I need to check in with. You're going to find a lot more Quirkless kids on rooftops this week, and checking in is huge. '

"Alright, it's not something we want Eri to see, so we'll let you know going forward," Aizawa said quietly.

Yamada looked less certain but hesitantly nodded. "You haven't been in the best headspace, though, which was part of our decision."

' Like I said, I understand why, but no one in our community is in a good headspace right now, ' Akira clarified, sighing as they tried to find the right words. ' Keeping an eye on each other and checking in when we can helps more than you could know in reducing the domino effect. '

On Monday, Akira was still feeling the slump that always came with Quirkless suicides. They stopped looking at the news when possible, knowing the propaganda and coddling the stations would be bouncing between like a ping pong ball. In Heroics, an idea struck them as they looked over the tall pillar structures. Akira pulled out their notebook and started some calculations for velocity, how much force their clones could take, and how much cushion would prevent death from various heights.

Ectoplasm came over after a few minutes and looked over their notebook curiously. "What are you trying to calculate? Perhaps I can be of assistance."

Akira paused before finishing the step. ' Yesterday's suicides got me thinking. Theoretically, I could use my clones to cushion someone's fall, but they can only take so much force, so I would probably need more than the 8 meters of soft tissue necessary to cushion a fall at terminal velocity. '

Ectoplasm looked over their calculations for a moment before nodding, "It looks accurate thus far. How do you plan on testing it?"

' Haven't gotten that far yet, ' Akira signed distractedly as they refocused on the work. Once they had preliminary number sets, they asked Cementoss to raise the building to the first 9 stories. Aizawa immediately stopped mid-conversation with All Might and strode over.

"What're you trying to do?" he asked. As Akira explained, Aizawa relaxed marginally and eventually nodded his assent. Wariness still simmered in his eyes, though.

Maybe don't test it yourself today then , Akira mused. They mostly focused on how to best layer their clones and quickly build up a barrier without compromising the density. By the end of the day, they had a baseline for how to structure their pile of clones and tested it with an Ectoplasm clone since they had enough durability. Akira made a few more notes on the layering before class let out and they walked back to the dorms with Mad Banquet. They kept an eye on Midoriya and Aoyama, each wearing a matching white chord around a wrist, but the others seemed to sense the change in the air and clung closer than usual.

Akira raised a brow as they got off the elevator and were promptly herded into Koji's room. ' Is something wrong? ' they asked.

Koji handed them Kerfluffle, who they took in mild confusion. "Not with us, but you're pulling away again," Koji softly responded. "Is an important date coming up again? Or is there anything we can do?"

' The person who helped me disappear was abducted, ' Akira said, worrying their lip as they realized they had been isolating even after getting help from their network. ' Sorry, things have been really stressful trying to figure out if he was abducted then who abducted him, and we just got confirmation why he was abducted, but we still don't know who ...'

Akira stiffened then relaxed into Fumikage's hug, setting Kerfluffle to the side so he wouldn't be squished as the others joined. After a few seconds, they started to feel constricted and drew back a little, the other immediately withdrawing and checking in visually. Akira took a steadying breath and shook their head, ' There's nothing you can do right now, and I might be away more soon because of the League. Remember, if a Legacy Holder Wren approaches you, don't let them touch you. '

With knowing looks, the group ended up having a sleepover, bringing blankets and snacks from their rooms and the kitchen into Koji's room to play Mario Kart. It took Akira and Shoto a few rounds to get a handle on the controls, but soon they were drifting and getting caught up in the thrill of landing shells. As the evening wound down, they put on Howl's Moving Castle.

I totally forgot this was the last week of October and almost skipped it entirely lol not sure if I made this clear, but Bakugo's being fostered right now with the goal of reunification if Mitsuki shapes up. I've been toying with the idea of Average Joe for a while after seeing it in a fic I can't seem to find again (thought it was multiverse but couldn't track the character down). Rolled up some villains for the arms deal, and voila! I thought they were gonna make such cool fights, but damn he's so hard to write. Disclaimer I've never been to a sleepover, so this is based on the internet and discord. I went to a couple girls' nights in college but that's it. Aizawa: talking with All Might about teaching probably Akira: yo can I get 9 stories up? Aizaw: ???? my child??? you want h-what?
