Info:

Reyna's A LOT more colder than her usual cold self mixed with her fierceness. She doesn't show any facial expressions anymore, even when crying, and sometimes tries to be on her best behavior.

She has a big fear of abandonment and has attachment issues, always needing someone by her side.

Because of her coldness, she's a lot calmer. She doesn't use her fire powers that much, only when necessary.

Info: We all know Gianna as the sweet, kind, and loving girl who cares for her loved ones....Well....not for her Caramel version. If people try to interact with her, Gina will only give a cold glare and not speak much. She won't even hesitate to beat people up the second someone speaks out of line about Gina.

As far as any fears...she's afraid to admit defeat in fights she know she can't win. As much as Gina also doesn't want to admit this, she is a bit touch starved, and prefers some sort of touch comfort, mainly hugs and or headpats. She won't admit it in front of you, but when her back is turned, she will surprisingly smile.

With that said, any more info about her caramelized version is open for questions!

{The End/A Compilation on This Project}

Summary:

I don't really like the climax I came up with at the time so I'll be adding a new version here. So if It differs from the images that's why, I feel like I made the pages during a time where I just wanted to get the comic over with so it kinda feels generic and half baked.

-

Starting from our last point, with the words of encouragement from the Light of Resolution and the steel force will to get his dad back, Choco manages to land a powerful strike, surprising the ancients and phasing Berserk Cacao.

This leaves space for the ancients to also be able to help, Pure Vanilla gives both Choco and Holly buffs while Holly holds the line and protects them from incoming attacks. By doing so they're able to get closer. Finally, a combined attack is hit to where something finally seems to happen. It's powerful and cuts into the indoor wall of the citadel. The smoke dissipates and all that is left is just Cacao.

They're all pretty suprised, but Cacao still has some lingering curse corruption on his body and his breathing is shallow. Hearing the loud crashes from the room the watchers (and Caramel) run in to see the ... interesting situation that had unfolded.

We then cut to Cacao sitting in a hospital room, he had woken up a bit earlier and is trying somewhat to recall the events of the previous day.

Holly and PV soon walk in with mugs, not expecting him to be up. They're caught off guard but soon calm down and get to chatting. Cacao finally admits he's not really doing all so well with both his kingdom and his son over the course of the conversation.

He also sort of opens up about more sensitive issues he's been through, thought he doesn't hold that topic for long given it's just too much for him at the moment. Holly understands where he's coming from and offers some words of encouragement, while PV tells him they're going to look into something for the curse and to actually help Cacao mentally.

Cacao reluctantly agrees.

It ends a bit more open ended with your own interpretation of how Cacao deals with his issues being set, though there would be a few aftermath pages exploring the relationship with the characters shown after the events of the story, this one for example is Cacao and Choco doing pottery painting.

Some interesting facts, and stuff I made that didn't make it into the final cut:

-In my discord server berserk Cacao was often referred to as "The enemy spider"

-I often used their hands (so many hand drawings) as a way to show more of their character, Holly has hand scars while PV has a redness around his nails from stress. I like to add a human aspect to each of them so the reader can relate

-Berserk Cacao has had so many iterations before the final one, I just couldn't decide what I wanted him to look like!

-Each character has a different way of showing their thoughts/flashbacks! Caramels are more center focused given her only thought in that flashback was of the loud crash, Choco's are blurry given his eyesight, and Cacao has flashbacks and thinks in grayscale! You can actually notice this more during the dinner scene, this has it's own reasoning but it's bit more darker

-Most of the sketches were 10x more funnier than the finished project but I had to make it realistic

-Affogato was originally going to make it into the comic as a background character, but I felt it was too OOC for him given his devious crimes

Onto the darker stuff-

TW: Implied Abuse, Blood

-Everyone knows about the cut panels but there was actually an entire page scrapped too, originally this would follow along with the Light of Resolution convo (I will now refer to it as the LOR) but I scrapped it for a few reasons.

-Firstly I felt like it didn't add anything and only just re-established something the reader already well knew from both Holly and Cacaos statements, secondly I just felt like it was OOC for how I wrote the LOR. The LOR is in part Cacao. He is Cacao's resolution made physical. This would be his story to tell because he is a part of Cacao. It is Cacao in a way. I also felt revealing his face felt kinda eh and just didn't fit. So for those reasons I chopped it

-Cacao's curse wound was actually bleeding in this scene, though it's a bit hard to see with the shaders

A Cursed Redemption

-Caramel Arrow's crush on Choco started when he was teaching her archery, but not right away. It took a bit for those feelings to develop as she was very dedicated to learning and kinda ignored those feelings. This would also be the case for the other AUs or in general.

-Dark Choco had a small crush on her before he left, but convinced himself he didn't deserve it after what he'd done. Those feelings come back after he leaves the COD but he's very conflicted because they're close to how he feels about Licorice (who it just then sinks in he abandoned like he did Caramel Arrow in the past) too. The guilt makes it harder to sort out these feelings.

- Licorice experiences his first real heartbreak when Choco leaves them, but bro doesn't even know that's what it is. He's tremendously bad at his own feelings.

- Caramel Arrow's first reaction on meeting Licorice when he finally works up the courage to leave the COD is to hit him as hard as she can. She knocks his ass out, much to Choco's shock.

-Licorice and Caramel Arrow fight a lot when they put him under her supervision. I mean a lot. He constantly makes snide remarks about the kingdom and the Watchers, throwing around insults. She hates how often he openly insults the royal family, namely Dark Cacao, but he casually bullies Choco a bit bc this was Choco's brilliant idea.

-It takes forever for CA to realize Licorice is not nearly as bad as he makes himself out to be. He's very low-key about caring for his loved ones, to the point of being verbally insulting as if he's scared to admit he cares.

-Choco had to be the one to help CA realize that Licorice's behavior is a sort of defense mechanism, only getting close to those he can't chase away. He does this through a mix of telling her how much Licorice changed as they grew closer and sneaking around with her to catch the rare moments Licorice drops his absurdly loud, "tough/evil" persona.

-Choco is the most outwardly affectionate, especially after he gains better control of his curse and isn't as scared of hurting them.. Hugs, kisses, hand holding, cuddles. He's very touch-starved from his self imposed isolation. Also says the sweetest things.

-Caramel Arrow will accept their affection almost all of the time. She rarely initiates physical affection with Choco because she never has too. He's always looking for it. With Licorice, she usually has to be the one to initiate anything at the start, but once he's more comfortable he can be just as touchy as Choco. She tends to be more affectionate in private than in public spaces or shows her love through words.

- Licorice is so used to being alone he's become just as touch-averse as he is touch-starved. He craves their validation and affection but would rather die than let himself be seen as "weak" or ask for it. Rather than touch, he'll gently prod them to take care of themselves, or do little things he thinks will make their lives easier like take over chores. Partly convinced himself that they only act like they love him.

-CA once asked Licorice about his tribe and Licorice stopped talking to her for two weeks straight. Choco had to break the news that there aren't any others left to their knowledge.

- Choco and CA bond over their determination to make Licorice feel loved. Also their determination to beat his insecure ass into oblivion and drag him back to smother him in affection when he caves under the pressure and tries to go back to the dark side.

- Licorice is very needy, clingy, whatever, but also acts like a cat with his affections. Also sometimes stands in a corner and stares at Choco/CA as if he expects them to know he wants a hug or something. He learns to be more vocal about when he wants or needs attention.

Forsaken Licorice AU

-Choco and CA are sorta kinda an established thing here. They both like each other, and acted like a really chill, put together couple even before making it semi-public.

-Since he never got cursed, Choco is much more open to their relationship and doesn't have as many fears about them being together. As a result when they aren't focused on something else, he'll shower her with affection.

-Choco gave CA permission to enter and leave his room freely, sometimes she sneaks in just for comfort cuddles. They wouldn't try anything more risky than that given the strict culture. At least not within the Citadel walls.

- Dark Cacao 100% noticed their relationship and purposely told CA to just 'make sure he comes home' if she catches Choco sneaking out of the Citadel.

-Choco is a bit naive, he tends to lean towards a more optimistic outlook than a realistic one. Caramel Arrow loves it, even though she often has to lend a more realistic opinion.

-If Choco is the optimistic one, Licorice is the pessimistic one. He's a grouchy, petty, mean-spirited, paranoid guy who assumes the worst in an unrealistic and dramatic way. But CA and Choco suspect it's mostly for show. Besides, who wouldn't be a bit of a pessimist when they're the last of their kind? Just cuddle him until he calms down and stops complaining.

-Choco started crushing on Licorice first when he didn't know who Licorice actually was. He felt extremely guilty about it and got a little sulky bc he already had CA and having feelings for the suspicious guy living in the abandoned Licorice Tribe village felt like he was betraying her.

-CA started crushing on Licorice after the few times he invited her to stay when Choco was away (also before they knew). But she didn't figure it out until Dark Choco admitted to his new crush while acting like he'd committed a horrible crime and she found she wasn't bothered by the idea at all.

-Licorice's crush starts before he knows who they really are too. But he isn't sure if they're genuine feelings towards them or just him clinging to them to ease the loneliness he feels.

These little dumbasses actually LOVE to dress up for Halloween, More on because they like scaring other kids and stealing candy.

They go on these heists where they rob other kids of their candy around the neighborhood and would hang around somewhere like a junkyard or a dark empty parking lot to eat them.

It's normal for them to torment other kids around their block, chasing after them with fake weapons or just scaring them is for pure fun.

(Anyways, thanks for the ask since I've been meaning to answer this in a while but forgot all together. Sorry for the delay, Hope you're still doing great! Stay awesome!)

Top 5 drinks? ☕

i am about to confess. i am a terminal water-drinker SKFJHG i'm not super into sweet things and don't mind the taste of just plain water? so i don't often have any beverages at all, so this list is about to be the most hyper-specific list of beverages known to man 😂

hot water: i would argue this counts as a drink, because most people i know don't drink hot water, i'm just very chinese lol. it's nice! feels less shocking to the system than cold water. i do not like cold water.

taro bubble tea: truly the most bestest of bubble teas. it's purple! it has edible tadpoles! yum. idk unpopular opinion though, every time i get it from a place where they actually serve legitimate taro inside their taro bubble tea, i hate it. i want the artificial stuff that comes in powder form, that is probably like 90% sugar by weight

there's this corn juice that T&T sells that's really good. is also probably 90% sugar by weight. corn!

okay i have to admit that i do like the starbucks coffee cappuccino frappuccino whatever stuff that comes in the sealed glass bottles that you can get. again, definitely mostly sugar and milk by weight (i am not a hardcore coffee person. i'm not even a coffee person really), but they taste really good. i haven't had one in years and i'm not about to break that streak now! but i do remember really liking it.

another asian beverage, there's this pineapple beer stuff that is mostly non-alcoholic (the alcohol % is super low) that is really good. ALSO most DEFINITELY 90% sugar by weight, i swear it tastes kinda like caramel and nothing like pineapple. still good tho!
