how would marie ,callie, captin, and cuddlefish react to seeing four in her villain area

Oh, not well at all XD The Squid Sisters and Captain would be in shock and denial, and Cuttlefish would feel extremely guilty.

I like to think that during the inevitable Boss Battle, Callie and Marie would info dump to you while fighting (maybe adding like a level of difficulty with the split attention) and both of them even stop you from hitting the finishing blow a couple of times during the first two phases; Marie stops you for the first phase and Callie stops you for the second, but after watching the entire battle and seeing how corrupt Alis is, they sadly let you take him out.

However, while you do beat her, Agent 4 is able to escape before you can capture her. Callie, Marie, and Captain would be filled with a newfound vigor to stop Mr. Grizz and get her back.

what are ur agents' relations with each other, if this hasn't been established already? idk what else to ask about em maybe... a little bit about their backstories??? i'm especially curious about poe

im gonna do backstories first

agent 3: florentine doesnt rly have anything super interesting as far as backstory goes, shes just a regular kid captin cuttlefish picked up off the street. though, she did used to be a huge competitive turfer before then. but after a bad falling out with her old team, she gave up on doing it (and turf wars in general for a time)

agent 4: again nothing too wild here, though the difference is fritta grew up in a very rural town. she never actually wanted to leave, but mounting family problems kinda left her with no choice. her older siblings brought her to inkopolis, and like a week later she met marie and the rest is history

agent 8: poe’s story is….a big mystery to herself. like i said in her bio she got all the mem cakes but they didnt exactly help her recover. she can easily guess whatever she did before had a lot with having to know the insides and outsides of weaponry. she’s not too desperate to figure things out, but sometimes she does feel like she’s forgotten something VERY important…

and the rest of this is going under a cut bc its all words and i dont wanna annoy ppl

before i get into relationships i think nows the time to mention there was a gap of time between the end of octo expansion and when poe formally joined the splatoon. basically she turned down the first offer when she got to inkopolis and just kinda lost contact with them, and then changed her mind a few months later when she met florentine again.

agent 3 and 4: at first florentine didnt want much to do with the new agent, to her fritta came off as kinda arrogant despite only learning the basics of turf war a few weeks prior. eventually she recognized those feelings as bitterness over how things at kamabo co went, so she eased off a little bit and realized it was pretty nice having someone else around that wasnt a super busy idol. present date theyre pretty good friends, even if they dont always see eye to eye. they do like to compete with each other,  but never very seriously

agent 4 and 8: as mentioned above fritta can be quite brash and has a tendency to get off on the wrong foot with people he meets. poe, however, really threw him for a loop because his antics got met with a sincere curiosity he didnt know how to handle. they do share some common ground with being new to the city, and fritta’s got something of an interest in tech, while poe loves hearing about what he knows about nature n shit. theyre just good pals

agent 3 and 8: they are dating, but id say its kind of a fledgling romance. basically as poe went through the metros trials and she half-remembered things she got this image of 3 being really mysterious and heroic and actiony, and then on the surface she realized her memories didnt really match florentine at all, and it left her intrigued.

as for florentine, i kinda like the idea that she was able to pick up on the radio conversations between everyone during OE. so while she was doing god knows what down there, she was getting an octoling’s perspective on her trek through octo canyon for the first time, and was kinda surprised at how positively they (poe & ched) regarded her. then afterwards on the surface, the short time they spent together was actually the first in a while florentine had hung out with anybody, and she was fairly disheartened when neither wanted to stick with the new squidbeak splatoon

but like i said they eventually caught up to each other and at that point poe and florentine decided they just wanted to get to know the other

[Eight and Three wave their goodbyes as Four drags Autumn into her room.]

[The second they're both in, she crawls into her bed and pats the empty space beside her.]

"Alright. I'll hold the plates and silverware. Bet they are gonna live this." Three said as they left his apartment, him locking it as they left. They went down into the street then into the sewer. Three saw Marie first.

"Hey marie! I brought you guys some food!" Three smiled as he handed her a plate and some silverware.

"Thanks three! Callie and Captin, are in the shack!" Marie said clearly hungry.

"Ooooh, I didn't know he was here. " Three said to himself. He entered the shack, and heard him and Callie talking

"...that subway was so dark. Oh hey boyo!" Cuttlefish said.

"Hey cap, hey Callie! I brought you guys some food!"

'"Yes! food!" Callie shouted

"Aye I'm old Callie and I still heard that!" Cuttlefish said. "Whos that with ya three?"

"Oh! This is eight, my friend whom I met during patrols cap!" Three smiled as he said it.

"Aye" was all Captin said.

Eight stepped onto the helicopter and stared out at the water below them as it lefted into the air once again his ears pointed back slightly as he listened to Three and Marie’s interaction before they went back to their normal default position
