In truth, she’d barely broken a sweat. With an actual adversary -- i.e., not a friendly sparring partner -- she would’ve had them flat on their back twenty minutes ago. It was almost as if she was dancing with him, making the correct moves, defending where she should -- but she’d been holding back. She might’ve been one-hundred-and-something years old, but the serum in her veins kept her incredibly strong.

“I don’t actually want to hurt you,” she teased. “Unless you think you can take it. Then...I’d toss one solid punch your way. But you will end up with your ass on the mat.”

There was no time to spare. He knew he’d have to check on his wound later, but not right now. Thankfully his suit was mostly red, which hid the blood pretty well. The cape helped with that too. The pain he could ignore for now, he had learnt that a long time ago. “I’m okay. We need to stop them.” Okay might be a little bit of a stretch, but If they left with their cargo, well that would be very bad. Tim had fought with worse injuries before, a bit of pain and blood loss hadn’t killed him yet.

       Pike glanced up from his PADD. “Interesting,” he commented. “Spock informed me that it was no one person’s fault. Am I missing something that would make you feel the need to take full responsibility for what happened in the lab?” He hadn’t been there himself, had only been informed of what had happened. A mishap that had caused a small explosion and the system to go down. The mechanics had told him it would be a few days before everything was repaired. “If you do, then please, take a seat.”

Judgement was something the clown was used to. Not much got to her anymore given her own opinion of herself, but Harley had always been quick to anger. Something about Steve just pressed her buttons. She barely knew him, but whatever analysis he had made her annoyed. Harley was known to jump to conclusions.
