Mulan shifts her posture, whilst speaking. She wondered how it could be that anyone would stay with the Dark One—he was a villain and struck terror in many villagers’ hearts, she anticipated. Even she herself was wary of him—unpredictable, she’d heard he was.

The brunette did not seem to be an immediate threat as of now, so Mulan relaxed her hand slightly, from her sword.

"Are you able to summon him?"

Snowed In

She sneezed. It wasn’t exactly the cute, graceful entrance she’d been hoping for, but least she did it before he could get close enough to be sneezed on. When she shook her head, bits of the snow that clung to her hair fell to the floor, and she couldn’t help but laugh at her professor.

"You do know class is cancelled, right?" She tapped her boots off on the door frame to prevent tracking puddles into the classroom, "You must’ve been here a while— there’s no way you could’ve driven your car through the storm outside."

Of course, she had been crazy enough to walk through the snow to the building, but she lived on the campus. “They closed the main road.”

It was only as the snow fell from her hair that he realized just how hard it was pelting down outside; he didn't live terribly far from campus and had walked to his office today.  

"You must be freezing!" he said, whipping off his jacket and wrapping it around her.  "Come sit closer to the heater," he insisted, not quite realizing what she'd said until he'd gotten her situated next to the warmest place in his office.  

Glancing out the window, he frowned.  "....It does look rather ... exciting outside."  At her words about how long he'd been here, Robert laughed, shaking his head.  "I've been here since about five this morning; I walked today."  A thought occurred to him and a smile slipped onto his face.  "Did you walk all the way here in the snow to make sure I was all right?"

There was a stranger in the Dark Castle.  This sort of thing only ever seemed to happen when the Dark One was off, making his deals and leaving Belle behind in charge. Cautiously, she approached, lingering in the doorway to the main hall, “…can I help you?”

Mulan looked up upon hearing an unexpected voice, breaking the silence of the seemingly empty castle, and it not being the Dark One, either.

She looked at the stranger with wary eyes, judging if she was perhaps a threat or not. Being in the Emperor’s army, had trained her to be on high alert at all times.

"You might be able to. But where is the Dark One, do you know?"

Muse: I’m, like, 99% convinced you are actually Belle. Belle, stop it. Get away from the computer and go get Rumple back (ouch, right in the feels). Seriously though, I’ve always loved the Ruby/Belle dynamic, even if there wasn’t nearly enough of it in the show. My muse has such unending love for yours and she’s so fiercely protective of her. I’m pretty sure if Belle told her that jumping off a bridge would make her happy, Ruby would do it in a heartbeat. (But don’t do that, because wolf bits are hard to clean up.)

49.  The last two people on campus during an extreme weather alert and oh great we’re snowed in

Robert hadn't been paying any attention to the weather alerts coming in; he was busy grading papers (and there wasn't a television in his office, anyway).  This batch for one of his Honors classes was quite engrossing; there were some great theories among some of the students.  

He looked up when the door to his office opened, smiling when he saw who it was. 

"Hullo there," he said with a grin, putting down his papers and going over to greet Belle at the door with a kiss.  "It's good to see you, sweetheart."
