Here's the link (in bio) to our antiwar ballad track that many of you all have been DM'ing me about lately with WW3 apparently around the corner (haven't had time to follow news lately) -- the song title is "Cannon Fodder Confessions," and the link in this case is to a subtitled still video version with the detailed lyrics. It's Bob Dylan and Buffalo Springfield-inspired but focuses specifically on the grunts in the trenches, and the way working-class struggles are exploited by war profiteers to turn the sons and daughters of the country into cannon fodder. Again, THIS TRACK IS ROYALTY-FREE, no rights reserved, so all of you are absolutely free to use it and copy it wherever and however you want, play it at the antiwar rallies sweeping the globe, clip it and make mashups, however you wish to use it. Announcement: our latest song is now out everyone, and it's a big one! The title is "Cannon Fodder Confessions" and it's an antiwar ballad in the tradition of many of my greatest songwriting inspirations -- Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Buffalo Springfield-- but with a focus on the personal stories and struggles of the middle and working-class grunts swept up in the war games to enrich the plutocratic elites who, sadly, benefit from the world being Up in Flames, as goes the first line of the song. The first public version of this track is on my SoundCloud, where my team is now shifting to put up the initial versions of our newly mixed releases. Just to reassure those of you anticipating our alternative song covers and second official music video, those are still on track, but we took a detour due to the onrush of current events. This song, our fifth release and the first on our upcoming second EP, even came out of the blue for me... I wrote it on something of a lark, in about three hours while my car was broken down driving cross-country,, hearing on the radio in the garage that we're basically about to get embroiled in yet another faraway conflict, but likely to be far more disastrous than even Vietnam, Iraq, and the rest of the smoking heap of foreign policy fiascoes over the past three decades. I'll be following up with a lyric video and other vids on our official YouTube channel as well as further updates in the weeks to come. We're not a protest band, but to be honest, this might be our most important musical work to date, so please leave comments and spread this work around, we're deliberately not registering it for royalties, so it's completely free to distribute.
