Cang lan jue crew really woke up and chose violence, like, "we're not moving on today" and I respect it.

Behold! The BTS that was just as painful as the actual drama scene. The way Dylan Wang and Esther Yu were both so immersed in their characters, the way Dylan had a hard time recovering from his emotional outburst as he embodied his character so well to be able to deliver the pain and heartache onto the camera, the way Esther stayed by his side and comforted him, saying, "I'm still here, I'm still alive" like b!tch how can you rip my heart out again like this? I thought I already recovered but apparently I didn't. Y'all know that moment when you thought you've moved on from the pain and then something happens that reminded you of that pain and made it 10x worse? Yeah, this is what this BTS did. The director/producer/writer knew what they were doing.

I didn't plan on posting any bts on this secondary blog. But the bts feel even more raw than the final product. Shuxin and Didi clearly have developed a connection through this project and I can feel it here. She's crying with him even though she's no longer on screen and he's howling his heart out. It tugs my heart strings.

ok all finished now, that was a hell of an emotional rollercoaster

So it turns out orchid not only taught DFQC how to smile but also learn how to keep a pokerface from him. Good for you sis? But not really since dfqc broke that stony expression with the most beautiful love confession on the bridge, he really went from feeling nothing to the god of compassion throughout the show

I didn't really get how Tai Sui managed to possess him in his sea of heart, dfqc couldn't handle orchid forgetting about him? I'll rewatch it

I never disliked CH, his only flaw was choosing duty over personal happiness, so now that he's retired I hope he'll be happy

Basically by the end it was a race between orchid and dfqc like let's see who will sacrifice themselve for the other one faster and I'm glad they both lost lol

The kiss at the end was beautiful but I need more, so I'll try to figure out the password protected epilogue of the novel translation
