"A holiday?" Stefan raises his eyebrows at Elena's impish face and her bursting-at-the-seams smile hidden behind her knuckles. He pushes himself up onto his elbow. "What kind of holiday are we talking about?"

She shrugs halfheartedly and casts her eyes to the ceiling as if thinking about it, but he can tell by the twinkle in her eyes that there's no more thinking to do on her part.

"A road trip," she starts simply, then mirrors him, clearly preparing to sway him with some well-thought-out argument on why it's a great idea. "Remember how much fun we had last time? We could even be a fake couple for another free meal again."

She waggles her eyebrows and bites her lip at him at the last part. Stefan rolls his eyes but he can't pretend to hate the thought of it. Especially being alone with her for a few days, just travelling wherever they want to go.

It's something Lexi would have loved.

He smiles, sighs, and says, "Alright." Turning his head to look at Elena, he adds, "Where's our first stop?"

Elena sits up properly now, no longer sprawled across the entire couch. "Seriously? You want to do it?"

"Yeah, why not," Stefan responds with a shrug. "It'll be fun. And, truth be told, I could use some time away. We both could."

She nods along with him, her expression softening somewhat as they share in a moment of silent acknowledgement of their grief still pushing under the surface. It's getting better. But it's still hard. Cade took a lot from them.

"Okay," Elena says with a final nod. "That's settled. We're doing it."

Who's your favorite tvd character and why?

Bonnie Bennett and Tyler Lockwood are tied for me. Bonnie is just easily the the sweetest character on the show, who would do anything for the people she loves. Tho I feel like her loyalty is a flaw too especially since it’s with people who don’t deserve it. She’s strong, brave, powerful, and just doesn’t take any shit. Also she’s really hot.

Tyler has the best development on show. He went from a douchebag bully to someone who would die for the people he loves. And what I love is that he didn’t change for a girl. He changed because he didn’t want to be like his dad. I keep hearing a lot about how “Caroline changed him/made him better” when that’s not true. I mean I’m not denying that she has a role in that but she wasn’t his only reason. In late s1, he expressed regret over how he treated Vicki.

"TYLER: Yeah, I was a dick to her. I was really bad. That’s what I hate— is that I can’t make any of it right. It’s like I don’t deserve to even miss her."

And after he and Kelly made out and Matt found out, he genuinely felt remorse for happened (tho he's 17 and Kelly was a grown woman; not even supernatural), apologized, and tried to make things right. And in early s2, when he was making out with Amy and she wants to stop, HE DOES AND TAKES NO FOR AN ANSWER.

I could go on but he has grown so much: taking a wooden stake, saving Caroline, and Elena, wanting to free Klaus' hybrids from slavery, willing to be klaus' slave again as long as Caroline was safe. He deserved better than to die for Damon's manpain.

Do you have any ideas to why hits different isn't on streaming platforms? Or at the least spotify?

my assumption is that there's some sort of deal with target to keep it off streaming for a certain period of time. it probably will get added to streaming at some point but I expected it wouldve been on there by now

I was curious how has your blog been controversial? I've only been on tumblr since Jan. I also understand if you don't want to talk about it! Also, happy anniversary! 💗

Hey there! It's not a big deal. The good has definitely been far more plentiful than the bad.

Over the years, I've had some people question my credibility, and as I get older, I realize that's a little bit fair. I didn't make a habit of citing my sources from the beginning, and when I tried to compile all of them 1000+ facts in, life got in the way and I never finished that project.

I can truthfully say I did my very best to only post things from reliable sources - I did spend a whole weekend reading every single scan of every interview available on taylorpictures.net and have seen probably every interview of Taylor's on Youtube.

However, I started this blog when I was 13 and, as I said in the post, had unreliable internet access. Obviously, my research skills have also significantly improved since I was 13! I also never expected this blog would reach such a significant audience and wasn't always sure how to handle that.

Some people have been unnecessarily harsh when I did get information wrong and have used that as a way to write me off entirely. There have also been some longer facts where some information was not worded very well and some miscommunications caused arguments. That's on me, but they were genuine mistakes.

Basically, there have been some people who I feel have never taken me seriously and may have thought I was acting in bad faith, and I have never felt the need to prove anything to them, but they do exist. It happens. I don't think a lot of fans knew how young I was for most of this blog's run.

Hey! It’s fine! I love stelena so damn much! They were actually what got me to continue tvd tbfh.

1. So many but their first love scene was so beautiful that I cheered. The angst, the chemistry, Elena just smiling and being in Stefan’s shirt. I just miss them.

2. I actually don’t read that many Stelena fics but there is this rlly good stelena wedding fic that contains bamon (can’t find it tho)! I honestly just love stelena bamon forwood fics but it’s so rare to find them unfortunately.

3. My fave Stelena YouTuber is Epic Stelena. I love her Stelena vids and she just keeps my Stelena love alive in general.

4. There are sm good one so it’s hard to pic but there was some Stelena/Bamon edits with the song dressed to digress that I loved.

5. @zalrb is the one that got me hooked on to them in the first place. I just love her Stelena metas so damn much and just all her metas in general.

And as for finding Stelena content, I suggest looking at the #stelena shippers club and #stelena stan club tags, but there are also some rlly good se blogs I’d recommend @stefan4president @zalrb @initiumseries @katherinepierceismyqueen @nocakesformissedith @lookformebymoonlight @stelenadaily @markofcaindean @eleanorsdrea (she has some rlly good Stelena content on her blog), @beverllarke, @forwood-stelena, @alina-aleksanders, @wereimmortalremember-blog (mainly forwood but also loves Stelena)

Enchanted has to be my favorite! Mine, Innocent, and Haunted are runner ups :) If This Was a Movie is really good, I was obsessed with that one when the album first came out.
