She owned a few cows, chickens, pigs, and horses that she tends and cares for. Her large farmhouse has also been renovated to be Fall's Ends very own 'Bed & Breakfast'; getting the occasional tourist here and there, or sometimes it's a local needing a little change in scenery. Serah's main customer is Sharky Boshaw. 

Sharky liked to cause a little trouble, otherwise, Hope County would be too quiet. Whenever Sharky was too drunk to go home, he always managed to walk to Serah's farm and keep her company while tending to him. Serah was also good friends with Kim and Nick Rye, the couple being her closest friends since she moved to Montana from New York. Serah wanted a change of scenery herself, and she always dreamed of owning her own farm and 'B&B'. 

It was a warm morning when Serah woke up in the early hours on a Saturday. She groaned a bit, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and giving her muscles a good stretch before leaving the confines of her bed. Most of her farm chores were done the day before, so only a few small chores were left remaining. Serah planned to go to The Spread Eagle to visit Mary May, another good friend of hers from when she first moved to Fall's End and worked at the bar for four years. 

As Serah was doing some dusting around the house with only having to hang out the laundry after, she was excited to get a move on and get it finished. 

"C'mon, Serah, nearly done then we can have drinks to wash the stress away." 

Serah couldn't wait to relax before Monday began; the only days she really lets loose is on the weekends with Mary May, and sometimes Sharky if he hasn't already been drinking and passed out somewhere. When the chores were done, Serah took a quick shower to freshen up and put on a cute white, lace sundress that had a deep neckline that flashed a bit of her cleavage and stopped just above her knees. 

Serah parked her car in the parking lot before pushing through the bar doors, looking around at the few patrons already there just before 1 p.m. When she approached the bar, Mary May was quick to greet her. 

"Hey, beautiful! Just finished all the chores on the farm, yeah?" 

"You have no idea..." Serah gave a dramatic sigh of relief while Mary just laughed. 

"Don't worry, sweetie! Maybe you could ask one of the boys to help you out around that big farm of yours. You probably need to hire some farmhands, otherwise, you're gonna get tired and grey from stress." Mary May was very motherly for someone who was only a few years older than Serah. 

"You know I would if I had the money, Mary. I can't afford to hire farmhands while paying my bills, groceries, and animal feed. I'd either go broke or couldn't pay them enough to keep around." Serah shrugged before getting comfortable at the bar, trying to decide what drink she'd want to order first. 

Serah ordered herself a Bourbon and Coke while conversing with Mary and a few other patrons, having the day pass slowly and having a good time. It wasn't until two in the afternoon that Serah thought about heading back to the ranch. She asked Mary if she could leave her truck in the parking lot, which Mary said yes and that she didn't need to ask, while Serah called Nick for a lift. 

Serah didn't have to wait for Nick long; he came under less than 2 mins and picked her up. 

"Hey there, Serah! You have a good time?" Nick asked while he headed towards the ranch. 

"Oh yeah, I had a few drinks to help unwind. It's been a rough few days working, but I got everything done. Maybe I'll get a few new guests or Sharky might just crash at mine whenever he's too drunk to go home." Nick and Serah both laughed at the thought. 

Nick and Serah had a sibling bond; Nick was like an older brother and Serah being younger. Serah met Nick when she turned 21 and had her first drink at the Spread Eagle, where she was introduced to Nick and Kim Rye, then five years later, she was basically another Rye in their eyes. She had a second family after losing both her parents to cancer when she was 19. Nick and Serah even got tattoos of each other's names that Nick claims 'Now you're a Rye! You're now my little sister'. The memory always brings tears of pride and joy to Serah's eyes. 

Nick parked in front of Serah's ranch before hugging her tight. 

"You know, you could always ask me to help you out if things are too much, sis." 

"I know that Nick, but I couldn't possibly ask of that from you when Kim is this far along in her pregnancy. She'll need your help more than me. She could give birth next month or so." Serah tried to reason, but Nick just scoffed. 

"Kimmie is a tough son of a bitch, every time I offer to help her, she tells me she can do it herself. Trust me, I have plenty of free time to help you out." Nick gave Serah a comforting squeeze on her shoulder before she hopped out of his car, waving him goodbye and watched him drive away. 

With a sigh, Serah walked back into her home and started to plan out what to make for dinner. She heard the soft sound of her white cat, Alpine, purring away in his perch at the window sill, the sun coating him with warmth. 

"Hey there, Alpine, did ya miss me?" Serah giggled as she walked by him, scratching behind his ear as she went. 

*2 hours later* 

Serah always had a habit of making large portions of food as if other people lived in the two-story house. She couldn't help it, Serah just created that much food so she wouldn't have to worry about making more the next day. She guessed that it was because she would have to cook for the guests when they stayed at her 'B&B' and she just can't help it. While she let the chicken and corn soup to simmer, she started to get Alpine's food ready because she knew he'd become needy soon. 

"Alright, buddy, you'll be having some delicious prawns, your favorite!" Serah sang as Alpine came rushing over and meowing loudly at the smell of the prawns. 

As Serah put the prawns into a small bowl and placed it on the floor near the kitchen island, she heard the sound of a slam and a muffled, angry voice followed by a calmer voice. Serah's curious mind got the better of her and snooped near the front window and peeked out through her translucent curtains to see what the commotion was. There was a black SUV parked on the side of the road, small amounts of smoke coming from the hood while three men stood around the front of the car. One of the men had red hair and beard with scars covering parts of his face and forearms; he was the one who was angry at the fact that their car must have broken down while the two other men stood around letting the redhead vent. One of the other men was dressed in very luxurious clothes and had many tattoos covering his arms and hands, and he also sported a beard. The other man had his hair in a bun, wore yellow-tinted glasses, and looked to be trying to calm the scarred man. 

Serah was still in a daze by watching the men that she hadn't realized that the men had noticed her house, and one of them was making their way to her front door. The sudden sound of knocking on her door startled Serah out of her daze and she quietly made her way to the front door. When she made sure her little latch lock was in place, she opened the door slightly to greet the man with the tinted glasses and man-bun. 

"Hello my child, my name is Joseph, and my brothers and I happen to be in a bit of a predicament. It seems our car has broken down and we don't know how to fix the issue, would you happen to know of anyone who knows mechanics?" The man said. 

Serah blinked for a few seconds, registering what he had said. 

"Oh!" You looked at your little wristwatch to see that the time was now 4:30 in the afternoon and that the closest mechanic store is at least 45 minutes away and closes at 5 o'clock. "Um, the closest mechanic is nearly an hour away, and they'll be closing soon, so you won't be able to see them until tomorrow." 

"That is quite alright. I also saw that this loving ranch was a 'Bed & Breakfast', would my brothers and I be able to seek refuge here for the night until one of us are ready to walk into town?" Joseph gestured to the two other men still standing by the SUV who were looking at them from afar. 

"Oh, of course! And because of your circumstances, I won't charge you; I'd feel bad if I did. Save your money for when you get your car fixed." Serah gave him a warm smile, unlatching the lock on the door and opening it wide. 

Joseph motioned for his brothers to come forth while he continued to talk to you. 

"That is very kind of you, my dear. May I ask, what is your name? It's silly of me for not asking our host's name." 

She then made way for the three men to enter her house and they huddled in the open space living room. 

"My name's Serah, and I'll be your host. I've got some chicken and corn soup that's just settling and will be ready to serve. I also have spares bedrooms upstairs if you'll follow me!" Serah led the three men to the rooms and let them choose a room for themselves while also being introduced to the two men, John and Jacob. 

Jacob was the eldest Seed brother while Joseph was the middle child, and John being the youngest. Jacob served in the army and was a hardened soldier; John used to be a lawyer while Joseph claims to be 'The Father'. He preached about the gifts of God and how God would occasionally speak to him or give him visions about 'the Collapse'. Serah was never really religious; she never cared for religion but never stopped anyone who did. She politely listened to Joseph talk about this 'Project at Eden's Gate' and how he and his brothers have come to Hope County to save as many people as he can before the collapse because that is what God has told him. 

Serah started to serve the Seed brothers the soup when John spotted Alpine walk into the dining area. 

"Oh, and who is this little guy?" John asked while petting the white feline. 

"That's Alpine; he was a stray when I found him as a kitten. He was so small and malnourished, but he stole my heart the second I saw him. He's my little fur baby." Serah picked Alpine up into her arms and cuddled him for a bit. 

The four of them ate, Joseph and Serah doing most of the talking, John contributing now and then while Jacob grunted in acknowledgment. Joseph talked more about Eden's Gate then asked where would be the best place to buy a property big enough to host sermons for him and his followers or 'children' as he called them. Serah answered as many of Joseph's questions but told them that they would have to see sheriff Whitehorse about getting a license to carry when John asked about that. 

When dinner was over, Serah grabbed all the empty bowls and was prepping to wash them when John stopped her. 

"Please, you've cooked and let us rest for the night for free, the least we could do is wash the dishes. Go and relax, dear." 

Serah gave him a sweet smile, nodded, and thanked him before heading for the living room to read a book. Jacob seemed to already have worked out the TV remote, and he and Joseph were flicking through the channels. The sat in silence with only the noise of the dishes being washed in the kitchen to fill in as background noise. The rest of the evening went by with small talk and watching whatever is on TV before the Seed brothers and Serah bid goodnight to each other at around ten. 

As Serah was about to enter her room, she was stopped by Joseph yet again. 

"I'd like to thank you again, Serah. It seems God has led us to you, and to be blessed with your kindness and hospitality. Hopefully, in weeks to come, we'll see you again. Goodnight, dear." With that, Joseph went into his room, leaving Serah in the little hallway who was touched by his words. 

As Serah did her nightly routine and hopped into bed, she had a nightmare of an explosion and the world on fire.

born on october 5th, 1999  ( this is literally a day before my bday ooc but anyway ajkdhsjdh )  in rochester, new york, blair’s first impression of the world was a crisp autumn day

she was her parents first and only child. her mother was an elementary school teacher, while her father worked at a nearby power plant in ontario

the family never made too much money, but they were able to get by, at least at first

she had a fairly happy childhood, though it was a lonely one. her father was always working odd hours, and with her mother gone during the day, she spent most of her time with a babysitter and the family golden retriever

eventually, she herself started going to school. she immediately excelled in the english department and fell in love with reading. blair realized early on how much she enjoyed escaping reality with a novel, immersing herself in a story so exciting compared to her dull life

almost everything was fine until her high school years. aside from the fact that she never had a present father figure, she was closer to her mom and still loved by both of her parents. however, when her high school years came around, her father lost his job

her father was the families main provider, and her mothers salary alone would not be enough to take care of the entire family. while he searched for another job, they had to give away the family golden retriever to one of blair’s aunts because they couldn’t afford the extra cost :(

on top of losing her beloved pet, the loss of her father’s job prompting the family to pick up and move their entire life

already in the midst of high school, blair had to leave her life as she knew it behind. the family moved to statesboro, georgia, and her father found a job at the nearby power plant

the transition to life in georgia was not easy for blair. though she didn’t exactly have trouble making friends, she didn’t feel like she could truly connect with anyone

once again, blair turned to losing herself in a book to pass the time

shortly after the move to georgia, her parents experienced some difficulties within their marriage. they ended up separating, and blair spent the remainder of her high school years living with each of them for half of the time

she did not mind her parents separating, as she knew it was for the best. however, her father found a girlfriend fairly quickly, and blair would eventually find out her father had been having an affair

her father spent most of his free time with his new girlfriend and her family. blair was upset at how he prioritized his the new people in his life over her when he was barely ever around for her growing up

meanwhile, her mother was having trouble adjusting to being alone, so she moved back to new york to live with her sister

blair stayed behind in georgia to finish high school, but knew she wanted to go elsewhere for college. she wanted to get as far away from her father and his new life as possible

once blair turned eighteen, she began to sell pictures for money. she wanted to earn as much as possible so she could afford to go away for university. she created an alias and began to sell pictures and videos of her feet. eventually, she expanded her horizons once she realized how much money she could earn

she never went as far as sleeping with her clients, but she would go on dates with them and spend the days with them to earn more money ( kind of like ludovica/chiara in the italian show baby on netflix minus sleeping w them )

she dated a few people throughout her high school years, and began to more “seriously” date a guy during her senior year in high school, though she knew the relationship wouldn’t last. despite appearing as a more serious relationship, to her, it wasn’t really anything of the sort, and she mostly wanted a relationship for senior prom and other trivialities

after senior year ended and she had accepted admission into uni in seattle, she basically cut ties with everyone in georgia aksdjskdjh she said good bye forever ! rip poor unnamed boyfriend he didn’t see it coming ...

her father also did not see it coming because she didn’t even tell him where she applied. but at the same time, did he ask ? no :/

once she left for uni, her relationship with her father became very very estranged. she still speaks to her mom on a pretty regular basis, but even then, she has a whole secret life and doesn’t feel particular close to either of them sjkdfhskdjh

she is definitely a friendly/sociable person. she can be pretty outgoing and loves to be around people. idk her mbti yet but she is def an extrovert ! ( she does tend to keep her feelings to herself tho )

despite her friendly demeanor, she does have a fiery spirit. if u wrong her she will hold a grudge against u until it gets settled/sorted. she can be more on the mean side when she’s upset, but even then she does not have a bad heart at all

when it comes to relationships, blair is all over the place. she can be very flirty/charismatic and is constantly hopping from one relationship to the next. she hasn’t quite been able to settle down, but it is possible. she kind of thinks being in a real relationship means losing her freedom, because that’s kind of what she saw happen with her parents, so she doesn’t really want to be tied down to someone in fear of losing herself in a way. does this make sense ? maybe ? ok !

blair has a fairly strong sense of self, but she’s still very young so she’s still growing and changing. she is the type of person to know what she wants and go after it ( yes, even with ppl ! ). she will stop at nothinggg to get what she wants ( oop ). u could say she loves the chase, but kind of gets bored afterwards unless u have more to offer !

omg she literally loves 2 be the center of attention. i mean, who doesn’t love attention ? but blair takes it 2 another level. she gets all :( if she’s being ignored or isn’t receiving enough attention

kind of bouncing off the whole attention thing, blair loves a good party ! she’s young and here for a good time. she def loves to drink at parties and stuff even tho she isn’t legal here in the us, why should that stop her am i right ? when it comes to drugs, she’s a veryyy casual user and doesn’t do anything crazy. a social weed smoker n will do pills here and there

bad influence - blair isn’t a goody-two-shoes by any means, but doesn’t really do anything crazy, so i’d luvv for someone to kind of influence her to do shit she normally wouldn’t on her own

a/n: i wrote this years ago on wattpad and thought about ‘re-touching’ it in a different way and changing the characters ig haha. idk if i should continue it tho

Summary: You were a music major college student and part of an infamous local band. You were running late to a class when someone bumps into you and knocks all your stuff down. Little did you know that that encounter would change your life forever.

I look at my watch, five minutes, that's all I have. I start running up the stairs, my jacket still on, my backpack hanging from one of my shoulders. I start to regret my decision to wear combat boots today, they're heavy as hell and don't help me go any faster. When I make it to the fourth floor, I have to stop to catch my breath. Fuck, I'm so outta shape. I take a mental note to start working out more often. I glance at my watch, three minutes, damn it.

I run down the hall and turn to the right... "Watch ou-" I start to say but it's too late, he slams straight into me sending all my music sheets flying across the floor.

"I'm sorry, I didn't-" he starts to apologize, looking up from his phone.

"You dumbass!" I yell at him as I drop my backpack to the floor and get down to gather my sheets. "I don't know why people have to text and walk at the same time."

"Look, I said I was sorry," he says as he bends down to help me. I get up and sigh. Great, now I'm really late.

"Here." He hands me two more sheets. I yank them angrily from him. I begin to organize my sheets as I start walking away.

"Miss, you might want this too!" I turn around and notice he's holding my backpack. He comes closer and I look up at his face for the first time finding a deep brown hue staring down at me. I stop for a second, feeling a shiver go down my spine as they remind me of... nevermind.

"Thanks." I try to say as kindly as possible as I grab my bag and place it on my shoulder, rolling my eyes at his stupid cheeky smile. I turn on my heels and start running down the hall, those brown eyes still fresh at the back of my mind.

As I enter the room I see the professor sitting next to the piano looking at some music sheets. His messy black hair peeking above the papers. He puts the sheets down and looks at me as I step closer. He's wearing his usual black sweater, hiding all skin up until his fingers. He's young, much younger than any other professor I've had here. Apparently he's some sort of musical writing genius and got admitted to the Korea School of Arts when he was only 16 years old. Rumor has it, that he has already written and produced numerous songs for various famous artists. He looks as if he's just another college student and I think that's why he's so strict and serious, otherwise no one will take him seriously.

"Miss Y/L/N," he says taking a look at his watch then looking at me with his eyebrows raised, "You're late."

"I know, but I can explain." I look at him with pleading eyes. I'm already screwed, but I have to at least try.

"I've been very clear about my rules." He crosses his arms in front of his chest, I can't help but stare at his long fingers. "You should know by now that tardiness is unacceptable with me."

"But, it wasn't my fault! I was running down the hall and this guy-" "If you were running down the hall, that means you were already late." He arches one of his eyebrows.

"I was going to make it on time, I swear, but this... stupid guy... he was texting and he didn't see me and my sheets went flying everywhere and..." I act the whole thing out but he just sits there staring at me with a blank face and I sigh defeated.

"Your story is quite amusing, but rules are rules. I don't make any exceptions."

"Professor Min..."

I stare at him in silence, this is it, I'm going to lose my scholarship. I might as well say goodby to my degree right now. There's absolutely no way I can afford this on my own. I already have my share of student loans and my mom, well, she already helps me enough. I feel my eyes sting and I look up, holding back the tears. I've worked so hard for this, it's not fair. He can't do this to me.

"This is so unfair." My voice cracks. For fucks sake, do not cry in front of him.

"Life isn't fair, y/n." He grabs back the music sheets he had been reading before.

I hate him. I swear I hate him as much as I hate the guy on the hall with the haunting brown eyes.

"Yeah, believe me, I know..." I turn around and walk towards the door. What does he know about life not being fair? He's 24 and he's a college professor with a successful songwriting career and he's telling me that life isn't fair? Who the hell does he think he is?! I was raised in a shitty neighborhood by a single mother who had to work her ass off to support me, I know very well how unfair life can be.

I step out of the room and lean against the wall. I let the tears fall down as I slide down and sit on the floor. This is my third year here and I've worked so fucking hard to keep my grades up so I won't lose my scholarship. I spent long hours on this songwriting assignment and it was the midterm grade. There's no way I'll pass this class now. I have to figure something out. I refuse to give up just because some professor won't give me a chance.

I'm walking down the hall when I hear someone talking in the distance.

"No, mom, I'm alright. Everything's fine, I just miss you."

I immediately recognize the deep voice. I feel anger starting to boil inside me. I want to run up to him and punch him or kick him in the balls or something. I hear his voice getting louder as I continue walking. He's sitting on the floor, talking on the phone smiling; his long legs bent in front of him. I notice he's wearing some weird leather slip-on shoes, who the fuck wears that?! I'm in front of him, tapping my foot angrily, arms crossed, nose flaring, eyebrows arched. He slowly looks up at me and his eyes widen.

"Mom, I'll call you right back. I love you." He stands up and my eyes follow suit, craning my neck upwards. He opens his mouth, but I just shove my music sheets at him angrily.

"Thanks for nothing." He looks at me confused and I just turn around and keep walking towards the stairs. I can hear the sound of his light footsteps behind me. I walk faster.

"Hey! Wait!"

I stop at the top of the staircase and hold up my hand.

"Please stop!" I say angrily without even turning to face him. I can hear him slightly gasp, but the sound of his footsteps stop.

"Don't you want your sheets?"

I sigh and look up to the ceiling. "Keep them... I don't think I'll be needing them anymore." I walk down the stairs without looking back.

I close the door behind me as I enter the apartment. I take off my jacket, my backpack, and leave my boots at the door. I sit on the sofa next to my roommate who's sitting there watching TV.

"Hey, how did it go?" he turns to look at me. I don't answer, instead I just stare at the TV in front of me and sigh heavily. "Damn, okay... Do you want a beer?" He offers getting up. I nod as he walks towards the kitchen.

Park Jimin is my best friend. He knows me better than anyone, probably better than my own mother. He and I grew up together and we're basically like family. When we both go accepted into college, our families helped us look for an apartment off campus so we could live together and wouldn't feel so homesick. We have another roommate whom we went to school with back home, Jeon Jungkook. Between a little help from our three families, our scholarships, student loans, and part-time jobs, we manage to pay the rent and all the other expenses. The three of us and our friend, Kim Seokjin, have a band that we started back in high school and we do small gigs every Friday at a local bar near campus. Sometimes we get an extra gig on Saturdays. We don't get paid much, but it helps.

I hear Jimin humming some tune while getting the beers, unlike me, he's always in a good mood. I place my feet up on the sofa to get comfortable.

"Two beers coming up!" Jimin comes into the living room, two beer bottles in one hand, a bag of chips, salsa on the other hand, and a big smiles plastered on his face. “Thought you might be hungry too.” He winks at me and puts the bag and the salsa jar down on the coffee table.

“Thanks babe.” He sits down beside be and I rest my legs on his lap.

“So... do you want to tell me what happened?” He says softly without looking at me. His hands slowly picking at my toes.

He listens intently as I tell him about my collision in the hall and what happened with the professor. His eyes never stop looking at my face and my every movement. Always so attentive, looking at me with those soft eyes.

“Well I don’t know, but that professor sounds like an asshole to me.” He shrugs his shoulder and takes a bite on another chip, his brows furrowed. “I mean... you weren’t even that late and it wasn’t your fault.”

“I know, but he said there’s no exceptions.” I try to imitate Professor Mins voice and Jimin starts laughing at my failed attempt so I punch him in the arm.

“Ow! That hurt.” He rubs his arm up and down. I know he’s just messing around with me so I roll my eyes at his stupidity.

“So when I came out of the class room, I ran into that dorky guy again.” I grab some chips from the bag.

“Did you punch him?” He opens his eyes wide as he takes a huge gulp from his beer. He’s always such a gossip.

“No,” I laugh. “I felt like it thought.” I admit with a smirk. “I did throw my music sheets at him and walked away.”

“You what?!” He runs a hand through his hair and looks at me. Shit, I can tell he’s mad at me. “Y/N are you insane? That’s your music. Please tell me he gave it back.” He says very seriously, that’s when I know he’s really mad at me. His soft gaze no longer in sight.

"I-" I look down avoiding his gaze and scratch the back of my neck nervously. Now I really regret what I did.

"No... He tried to give them back, didn't he?" I nod. "But you were so pissed that you didn't accept them." He's clearly annoyed. I just look at him and he knows the answer, he knows me too damn well.

"I know, Jimin, I'm an idiot. You know I don't think straight when I'm mad. Now this guy I don't even know has my music and I have no fucking grade on a midterm assignment which means I'm going to lose my scholarship." I feel the frustration building up again, tears threatening to come out any second now.

"Hey..." Jimin moves closer to me and grabs my hands. My gaze immediately goes to the touch. "Don't say that. You're not an idiot." He cups my face with his left hand and strokes my cheek with his thumb.

"I sure feel like it though." I close my eyes and sigh.

"No, you're a fighter, y/n. Don't give up this easily." He grabs my face between his hands, his soft gaze focused on mine. I nod and try to calm down, but the tears just keep coming down."Listen to me, you're going to talk to the Dean tomorrow. I'm sure they'll give you a chance." He wipes away some of my tears and lowers his head to mine. "For God's sake y/n, you're one of the best students in your department.”

He's right. I should talk to the Dean tomorrow, I'm sure he'll be on my side. Why didn't I think of that? This is why I love Jimin so much. He always knows what to do. I don't know what I would do without him...I nod and wipe away my tears. I move to sit on his lap and give him a tight hug. "You're the best, Jimin..." I kiss him on the cheek before I get up to go to my bedroom. I'm in a much better mood now.

"Jimin! Come read this!" I scream from my bedroom and I hear his light footsteps get louder as he enters my room. He sits next to me, resting his head on the headboard. He takes my laptop and stares at me with his eyes wide. "Well... read it, dummy." I shove him slightly.

"Dear Miss Y/L/N, I hope this email finds you well. After some consideration, I've decided to give you a second opportunity to present your assignment. Please be at my classroom tomorrow at 10:00 AM SHARP. This will be your last chance, so please don't be late again. Regards, Prof. Min." Jimin looks at me, his eyes beaming with excitement.

"I know, I still can't believe it. I wonder what made him change his mind." I shrug.

"Maybe he's not an asshole after all? Or maybe he thought you were hot." He moves his eyebrows up and down.

"Seriously?" I arch one of my eyebrows.

"Why not? I mean, you're hot I guess." He puts his arm around my shoulder and kisses my cheek.

"I guess?" I lean away from him. He's looking at me some sort of way, I don't know how to describe it. I've never seen Jimin as more than just a friend, but the way he was looking at me made my stomach jump a little. I shake my thoughts out of my head and roll my eyes. "Go back to your room, Jimin."

"Miss Y/L/N, nice to see you on time." I try not to roll my eyes at this. Professor Min is wearing his usual black attire, but his hair seems messier, almost as if he just woke up. He's not the kind of guy I would find attractive, but shit he looks really good today.

"Yeah, well, thanks for giving me this opportunity. I really, really appreciate it..."

"Well, you should probably thank Kim Taehyung, he's the one that convinced me to do this." Professor Min shyly smiles at me.

"Kim Taehyung?" Who the hell is that?

"Yeah, the guy you gave this to." He hands me some music sheets. My eyes immediately widen, they're my music sheets, mine. But how did this person know who to give my sheets to? This is all kind of odd.

"H-How-" I start to ask, but I get cut off.

"Taehyung's an old friend of mine, I helped him get an exchange. Anyway, he told me the whole story, which, of course, I had already heard from you." He points at me and I just nod. He shakes his head. "I have to say, the poor guy felt really bad for you. Then he showed me those and I just couldn't say no."

"Thanks I guess..." I slightly blush at his subtle compliment about my song. I guess this Taehyung person is not such a dumbass after all.

"Tell me, what was the inspiration for this song?" He rubs his chin.

"A friend," I say plainly.

"A friend? Interesting. Must be a very special friend then as you clearly have strong feelings for this person."

"Yeah, he's my best friend." I start to feel a little uncomfortable. I don't like talking about my personal life, especially with a professor.

"Fair enough." He starts scanning my music sheets again. "You seem to be very passionate when you play, and that's good, but you must be very careful with that. You don't want to rewrite your song each time you play it." I nod. "Overall it's a good song. Now, the lyrics on the other hand..." He gestures with his hand as if to say they were so-so. "They're not too bad, but I know you could do a lot better." He looks at me and offers a sweet smile, I smile back. "I'll be posting the grades on Monday." He gets up and opens the door for me to walk out."Oh, and another thing." I turn around to face him. "Never lose that passion." He smiles at me.

“Ok, guys, let’s do this shit!” We break free from our group hug and walk towards the stage. We are playing a gig tonight and the place is packed with students celebrating that midterms are over. I’m a little bit nervous to have such a big crowd.

We get on stage. Jimin, Seokjin and I plug in our instruments while Jungkook warms up with the drums. I turn around to face the crowd. I see a lot of new faces mixed within the regular crowd. I know this is going to be fucking awesome.

We play our usual set and when I’m doing a piano solo I notice a tall figure standing close to the stage. I look at him and find his haunting brown eyes staring straight at me. I quickly look away but I can feel his intense stare still fixed on me. I can feel my heart start beating faster. Those eyes give me the chills.

When the song is over, the boys are already on the stage. Jimin hands me a beer and furrows his brow.

“You alright?” He pulls the strap of his guitar over his head.

I gulp down half of the beer while I nod. I grab my guitar and Jimin just stares down at me, worried as I gulped down the other half of the beer.

“I’m fine, JImin...”

We play for the next half hour. I try to avoid looking at him, but he’s there every time I look at the audience. Not only is he tall enough to stand out, the clothes he’s wearing make him stand out even more. He even smiles at me a few times. I can’t bring myself to smile back; I’m too disturbed by his damn eyes.

Once we were done, we all head for the bar. Jimin tries to get the bartender’s attention while Jungkook goes to grab a table for us. Seokjin goes directly to his boyfriend and I’m left standing alone waiting for Jimin. I feel someone tap my shoulder, so I turn around.

“Hi.” He gives me a big boxy smile.

“Hey.“ I force myself to smile back. I try not to look him in the eyes, which is not that difficult because he’s probably like 7 inches taller than me. Instead I focus on his chest, which grabs my attention. His shirt is unbuttoned almost half way and I can see his chiseled chest, his necklace mixing perfectly with his lightly tanned skin. My mouth waters a bit, but I stop my thoughts as I finally look up at him, those dark brown eyes slightly more beautiful than last time I looked at him.

“Sorry about yesterday. I talked to Yoongi and-”

“You don’t need to apologize... Thanks, by the way, that was really nice of you. I’m the one who should be apologizing for being a bitch about it.” I quickly say and he smiles again. Damn it, he smiles a lot.

“You’re welcome...” He looks like he’s going to say something else, but he’s interrupted.

“Finally! I got the alcohol, y/n!” Jimin screams. He’s holding a bucket full of beers. He looks down at me then at Taehyung, and then looks at me again arching one of his eyebrows.

“I’m Kim Taehyung.” He extends his hand politely.

“I’m Park Jimin, nice to meet you.” Jimin shakes Taehyung’s hand, he then puts his arm around my shoulder and pulls me closer to him. “Hey, thanks for helping y/n out with that ass-” I nudge him on the ribs, “...assignment.” Jimin looks at me and mouths ‘What?’ and I just roll my eyes.

“No problem.” Taehyung laughs. “Your band is awesome by the way.” He smiles, again. “Do you only do covers?” He looks at me now.

“Yeah... We’re a cover band,” I say dryly and look down at my feet.

There’s a slight awkward pause until Jimin giggles. “Hey man, you’re welcome to join us for some beers. We’re sitting right over there.” Jimin points to the table where Seokjin and his boyfriend, Namjoon, are sitting. I look at Jimin and open my eyes wide. What the hell is he doing? I swear I’m going to kill him.

“It’s okay. I’m with some friends, but thanks anyway.” I let out and internal sigh of relief. Taehyung looks at me with a smirk on his face. He steps closer to me, placing his hand on my lower back. I can feel his hot breath on my neck as he closes in on me. “Nice to see you again, y/n.” He whispers on my ear and pulls away. I have never felt this kind of adrenaline. I just nod and he walks away.

Jimin looks at me with eyes wide as we sit down on the table. “What?! He looks nice and he’s got a cool smile.” Jimin imitates Taehyung’s smile, his eyes disappearing. I roll my eyes at him and grab a beer.

“Well, I don’t like him.” Jimin looks at me furrowing his brow.

“I don’t know.” I shrug my shoulders. As I think about it, the only thing that slightly creeps me out about Taehyung are his eyes. “I just don’t.” I look across the tabke just to find the familiar pair of brown eyes staring back at me from a table nearby. He’s sitting with Prof. Min, a very happy skinny guy with extremely black hair, and a girl. I quickly look away and focus on Jungkook who’s saying something about our number of followers on twitter, but Taehyung’s brown gaze keeps haunting me from a distance.

See here’s the thing with Dean... it’s as you say, they’ve been beating the “John Winchester sucks and ruined Dean’s childhood” drum for FOREVER and it’s gone nowhere. It’s tiring. Only now are they structurally doing it in a way that throws Dean into absolutely needing closure for endgame. At this point, the only way to make Dean resolve this is to make him come face to face with the man himself and air his grievances, like he did with Mary. JDM wants to come back to the show (or otherwise they could get Matt like they did in S11), and Dabb knows this which is the only way I’m saying it. He knows he could make this work. It’s likely it will happen at this point... eventually. And that’s the key part... “eventually”. No narrative mirror, no metaphor, no anything else will satisfy this kind of structure. So every time we get another mirror it’s another “sandwich” like the one we were served in 14x05. Until they boil the water of the Michael plot and move onto using it somehow to make whatever dinner of “Dean gets over his issues” they are gonna make, however they are going to eventually have Dean confront John, we are stuck standing still. Sam has moved forward, but Dean is still stuck.

Dean is stuck without Cas in his life and he’s stuck without making his peace with John’s bad parenting. And I’m tired. We’ve been doing this for YEARS. It’s not that I think Dabb has done a bad job, especially with the MOC “Dean must confront the source of his misery: Mary” mess that Carver left him with (that he resolved beautifully imo!). I honestly thought that was gonna be it with Dean tho, that the Mary confrontation and resolution was gonna be ENOUGH. But no. Dabb went and opened the “Dean needs resolution with John, too” door this season instead of just MOVING ON with Dean and Cas.

And I get it. I keep saying this. Dabb doesn’t know when J2 are gonna call it quits and he (and every other showrunner) apparently doesn’t want to live in a post Destiel “Dean has resolved his issues” narrative and so... this season has become Dabb’s accordion arc, much like S10 was Carver’s. And I HATE the accordion arcs. HATE. THEM. They tell me that you are so uncreative you can’t handle both Sam and Dean post endgame. And I really thought that’s what the “Alternate Worlds Avenue” was gonna allow for. But I was wrong. And so here we are. More parallels, more stalling, more fear for a narrative that’s queer and unflinching. Because Supernatural doesn’t know what to do with itself if Dean Winchester has decided to move forward from his trauma and live his best life going forward. In this respect, Dabb is no different than Carver.

I’ll be fair and say it’s a tough position to be in. This is the last roadblock left for Dean’s development. Dabb has no idea when/if J2 are gonna finally walk. Should this whole “confront John arc” take 1 season? Or should it take 2? What happens if it goes beyond that? Do we stall out Cas’ final roadblock with Heaven as a Hail Mary (excuse the pun)? Or do we *try* and resolve the two arcs around the same time? Could we afford to do Cas’ first? What about Dean’s first? While Sam lives on in post-endgame status apart from them? In case there’s only 1-2 seasons... have J2 already talked to Dabb? In some meeting we will never know about? Is the shortened season a trial run to see if they can continue on forever? Or just a cool down lap to the end? 5 episodes in and I can’t tell you. What I can tell you is that Dabb does plans better than his predecessors from what I can see, but that he has a problem the other 3 simply did not.

I can look at all this objectively to a degree, but for me television is an entertainment escape. I’m driven by mythology and because of the nature of the structure of S14 (Dean’s issues relying on the appearance of Michael to drive the structure and action) it’s all I can do not to beat my head into a wall right now. Every MOTW with a new mirror for this shit is another sandwich I’m tired of eating. I want dinner. I want dessert. I want sleep. The only way I want Supernatural to continue going on is if they get over themselves and just move forward instead of living in the past. Never gonna happen. As I said yesterday, this show begins and ends with Dean Winchester’s daddy issues.

And for the record, I still love Mary! Unpopular opinion I know! I understand where you are coming from tho, unless you have certain experiences, she’s a little tough to empathize with.

Man, Destiel fandom is just looking sad these days. It doesn’t matter how many parallels they keep doing: Mobby, DreamHunter, pft. It doesn’t matter how many references, how many visuals. None of it matters. It’s what they’ve been doing for YEARS. If they don’t actually put them in scenes together then there’s no room for presentation and escalation. Text just isn’t going to happen and that’s the truth no meta is gonna hardline for you. Please manage your expectations.

My car is a 1994 Lexus ES300 with 125,000+ miles on it. I would say it is in good or fair condition, the leather seats are cracking badly and it has a few scrathes, etc. I'm just wandering if it is in my best interest to repair this car or for it to be totaled out. The estimate for repairs in $3500.00, which could always go up once repairs start for unseen damage. I'm just not sure the car is worth repairing for that amount considering its condition. I just bought into a health insurance policy as I work 2 part time jobs and get no benefits in those jobs. Now my health insurance provider is saying my health insurance premiums will increase by 50% with higher deductibles and higher out of pocket maximums. This will put a strain on my finance as I can barely afford what I have now and having a $1500 increase really hurt. My problem is this, In July 2007 A man in a huge truck with a trailer hinge back up out from a parking space, it I saw him and the only thing I could at the time is speed up so he would not hit the middle of my car. I have put over 700.00 and still more problems. So my question is what do you think my chances are If I take it to the manufactor and they will rule in my favor. The Insurance Co-ordinator says if they say it was from the accident then they will pay for it. Straight from the start right after the accident my car kept dyeing out, so I had to drive it like a standard car with my feet on the gas and brake at the same time. So in the end , last I have heard there is a short somewhere so I took it to Spitfire and place that specializes in electrical problems and he told me my computer is bad. First of all the things my battery kept dyeing out, my car would not start up in the mornings,I took it to Auto zone and my battery was fat, swollen no good. Bought a new one, then I took it to a man at midas , he said I needed a valve cover gasket and he showed me my spark plugs we filled with oil, fixed that. Now Midas ran a scan and said I had either a bad map sensor or a short. Changed the map sensor the car is still barely running, so then another place said it was a short but had it for two weeks and could not find the short . I would like to know , if the guys Insurance is still on the hook for all the problems I have had with the car since the accident. The scratch from the impact starts at the bottom left of my rear bumper, and continues on the bottom left side of my car before the door starts, and continues to halfway through to the other side. Today I passed my driving test, and went back to the quote but it had to be renewed since last week which is fair enough. The lowest value today was 1576 which I am alright with. I was also surprised when i found out that my car is a group 4 insurance, with it being a little 60bhp 1.2 compared to my mates 130bhp car being a group 5. I cannot go on my mams insurance either as she can only drive an automatic. So I considered selling my Punto and try getting an automatic to go on my mams insurance as she has over 10 year no claims, but her 200 insurance went up to 2500. I guss alot of the price being because of where we live, there was multistory flats, in a big estate, and was a bad area, but now they have been knocked down and is now a new modern housing area. ive never booked insurance myself before if your happy with your online quote can you ring them up tell them your saved quote ref and then arrange monthly payment/direct debit rather than having to go through all questions again on the phone? what will happen then? will they have to check stuff get your bank details and then send paperwork through? the insurance is going to be in my name but im giving my partners bank card details for direct debit would that be ok?

About 3-4 months ago I was parked in a supermarket car park. My mum, opened the passenger door where the wind blew and hit the car next to us. Upon packing the car, the passenger in the alleged 'chip' car stated that their car was damaged- the damage was barely even visible- something you would expect as a driver to occur. I even questioned whether that 'damage' was the fault of ours because the car was that battered. Anyway, 3 months later I received a letter stating that I was involved in an accident on the 21st of June. This date is also incorrect where this 'accident' actually happened on the 1st May (my car insurance renewal date). My insurance know this happened in this time as I called them to ask what may occur. Could anyone provide me with details of when it is the latest time to make a claim. Also, what would usually happen for the 'chip' in question since I know this day that it allegedly happened was a lie. (UK answers only please)""
