are you making those gifs just from the yt shorts/ig reels of I AM STILL that they are posting? it doesn't even look like it bc the quality of the gifs is so good D:
If you want to talk about quality you've come to the right person! LAKSKSALKS everyone loves high quality files but sometimes I do crazy things for files that not even my friends can do. such as my paid weverse files. I always want the original quality and with screen record we don't have that, so I literally gave my email and password to someone on a forum so they can download my files from my weverse account in the original quality. this person just said "hi, I know how to download paid files from weverse using codes, do you want me to do it for you?" and I, who don't know this person, said "omg please, thank you so much for doing this for me". 😅😭 also download torrent files from suspicious websites. the list is long LKASKLAKSAS but I can give you some tips on how to always find good quality files, at least files that are free or easier to find.
try to join in exclusive forums like kpop24hrs or a harder like jpopsuki and avistaz. I had an account on jpopsuki, but maintaining an account there is very hard for me, I am someone who doesn't keep files saved on my laptop. there is a forum called "torrent invites" where some people go there and offer invitations or even exclusive forum accounts. I got a jpopsuki invitation account for a friend there. check torrent invites forum if you want an invitation to another forum! now youtube videos. to download youtube videos I use 4k video downloader. but before downloading the videos you can also try to change the format of the video to see if the quality changes too. sometimes videos in mkv format have better quality, so it's always good to check if the quality changes.
I always do that on bangtantv like bangtanbomb or the episodes videos which most of the time are always only uploaded on youtube. BUT we have some videos that are not only uploaded on yt but also on instagram and tiktok~~~~ and this is where we win heheheh~~ if a video is uploaded on these three platforms ALWAYS download it from tiktok. 99% of the time, videos on tiktok have a thousand times better quality than those on youtube and instagram. or you can also download the video on these three platforms so you can compare and see which quality is better, but I'm sure that tiktok's quality will always be the best. here's an amazing example, jin video that I giffed earlier.
first i only saw people sharing the instagram link but i went and searched if the instagram account also had a tiktok account and BAM they did 🥹 I downloaded the video from instagram and the quality was poor:
but when i download the tiktok video the quality was:
damn... this is sexy🫦
when instagram doesn't always make videos available in 1080p, most videos on tiktok are 1080p. just go and search "where to download instagram videos online" "where to download tiktok videos online" and open a website that does that and that's it.
another example, my tae and jeongguk recent gifset that you talk about here in this ask.
the quality of the video uploaded on youtube and instagram is very similar.
yt:
instagram:
but look how the quality is a thousand times better on tiktok:
🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 so beautiful that I almost got emotional LAKSKASKASKA
my advice is to always look for other platforms they may have uploaded the files to! like for example jeongguk vogue photoshoot. many people thought that the videos were only uploaded on twitter and instagram but no, they were also uploaded on facebook! always look for accounts on facebook as well. but facebook is weird… from what I understand they won't upload all the quality at the same time so sometimes it takes a while for a video to be in 1080p there. another thing, sometimes they will also change the quality lol. for example, when I downloaded jeongguk photoshoot there the highest quality available was 2k but now it only has 1080p.
now:
😭😭😭😭😭😭
now torrent files~ I don't recommend the websites I download my files from because I'm not sure they are trustworthy but as I have a good program to protect my laptop so I feel safer lakskas. for torrent files I use eztvx, kpkuang, 1lou. "are you sure" files I had to search for jung kook or jimin to find the files on some of these websites.
and now free websites where we can download high quality bangtan files are namuspromised, sharemania, soowoozoooo and ouranxingg.
there are others but I feel like these are the ones who always share high quality files.
this was me trying to explain to you guys how to always find high quality files with my bad english LAKSKSKASK I just love helping people find good quality files ♡
EDIT: I forgot to talk about vimeo but @galatariel reminded me of them too ♡ many photoshoot are uploaded there with high quality so also check vimeo when a photoshoot comes out! I downloaded most of my recent tae photoshoot there~

do you spend many of your waking hours on social media? do you feel like it's a problem? in this world of late stage capitalism, your time and attention is actively being harvested by big corporations. it's.. not good. it also just makes you feel bad!
here are some tips that have really helped me reduce the amount of time i give to these apps & get in control of my social media addiction:
1. IDENTIFY PROBLEM APPS
you probably know which apps you spend the most time on. however, looking at real data about usage is very helpful because time spent on social media is very deceiving. keep in mind which apps you spend the most time looking at and interacting with for the rest of this list.
2. TURN OFF NOTIFICATIONS
this is probably the easiest thing to do and it makes an immense difference. it's up to your discretion which notifications you want to keep on (turning on messaging notifications but turning off algorithm and interaction notifs for example) but, the most effective way to stay off problem apps is to turn off ALL notifications.
3. TURN OFF NOTIFICATION SOUNDS
i always keep my phone on silent. i understand that not all people have that privilege but, if you're able to i would highly highly recommend. it has helped me a lot with anxieties regarding waiting for notifications. i used to experienced the phantom vibrate and check my phone obsessively when nothing would happen. you can also just turn off notification sounds and vibrations for any non necessity apps if you don't want to jump to turning off all notifications.
4. CHANGE THE PLACEMENT OF PROBLEM APPS
i actually learned this trick from facebook when they changed the UI slightly so you had to be more intentional in interacting with the app. changing the layout of the apps on your phone really helps you catch yourself when you are automatically opening up apps that cost you time and attention. instead of keeping social media apps on the homescreen, keep it on a different screen, in a folder, & if possible out of the preview window for the folder.
if you want to expand on this more, you could keep a log in a notes app of every time you reached for an app that has since moved. you can even put the notes app in its place!
5. UTILIZE APP TIMERS
my experience is based on samsung app timers so i'm not sure how it differs in different makes. i really dont like my phone telling me i can't do something so i've set my tumblr timer to the highest end of my usage data (2hrs 10 minutes). another mindfulness thing that i like about using the timers is that when i'm switching between apps, my phone tells me how much time left i have (it's currently 1 hour 21 minutes, most of the 49 minutes i've spent writing this lol). i'm just a slut for data so i really like this aspect of the samsung app timer function and it's very useful besides this point.
6. DELETE APPS
okay, i know this seems drastic. but it doesn't NEED to be depending on your habitual problem apps. apps like youtube, instagram, facebook, and tumblr (to a lesser extent ime) (and probably others these are just the ones i have experience with) can pretty easily be transferred to being used exclusively on a web browser. if you use firefox it will even get rid of ads which is very important for overall sanity and for safe web browsing. one of the biggest plusses to moving from an app to a web browser is that it won't automatically play your platform's version of tiktoks. it also makes it more difficult to upload items which is a plus because it will hinder you from doing so and cut back on the loop of expecting validation from recently posted content.
opening instagram without immediately being enthralled by their endless stream of reels has made it SO much easier to control my time on the site. there are tons of plusses to transferring from app browsing to web browsing.
so on the more drastic side, if you are addicted to tiktok you maybe should just delete it. tiktok is intentionally designed so you can't use it in a web browser and can only use it in the app. i will talk more about tiktok and how evil it is later in this post.
7. MOVE DMS TO MESSAGING APPS
if a hesitation to turning off notifactions or deleting apps is from not wanting to miss conversations from online friends, i understand your pain. but, if you are serious about cutting down screen time on apps that are absolutely draining your attention, talk to your friends about switching to a different messaging app. i would suggest signal personally.
your friends may be experiencing similar problems with phone addiction and even if they aren't, if they care about you, they will make this accommodation to help you in this process. i get that this is very scary but i believe in you.
8. USE TIME ON YOUR PHONE FOR OTHER THINGS
depending on your goals for how you spend your time, there are plenty of alternatives to social media / other problem apps you may have. personally i have downloaded a bunch of books on my reading list and will divert attention from dopamine pumping social media to reading. you can find tons of free pdfs of books online and if you are used to reading on your phone, it won't be a difficult transition to read longer form narratives from short text posts.
there are free art apps, language learning apps, self care / journaling apps, meditation apps, etc. that you can use when on your phone. this may seem counterintuitive, getting more apps to battle certain app addictions. but, simply weakening the habit that brings you to the apps that you spend so much time on should help. but watch out for apps that claim they are to teach or better you but have social media built into them / other tricks that keep you glued to your screen. everyone is trying to mine your attention so be wary of all apps and the methods they use to keep you engaged.
9. DON’T BE AFRAID TO PUT YOUR PHONE BACK DOWN AFTER PICKING IT UP
idk if this is a weird one or not but, you know the feeling of going into a room to do something but you forget what so you putter around trying to remember? i feel like going on your phone when you have a phone addiction is often a state of that except the majority of the time you DON’T have a purpose to go on it. so even though it may feel silly, opening your phone only to close it right after is PERFECTLY FINE.
IN CONCLUSION, phone usage is pretty inevitable in this day and age. i've considered getting rid of my phone entirely but, between the expectation to be constantly reachable from employers to QR code menus at restaurants, it just doesn't seem reasonable to get rid of my phone completely. and i will readily admit its convenience and functionality is life changing and wonderful.
however in late stage capitalism, technology doesn't only work for you but it harvests you -- your data, your habits, your time, your attention, your wants, your needs, your thoughts. even leftist spaces with good intentions can trap you (doom scrolling). when i was becoming radicalized during the beginning of the pandemic i spent sooo much time online reading about all these horrible truths of imperialism, colonization, and capitalism, and i felt it was my duty to share these horrors with other people to radicalize them. but it was so unhealthy, especially when shit hit the fan (which it was like constantly doing) because everyone was posting about the horrors and it felt utterly inescapable.
after following some of these steps (which i did in stages over the course of a few years), my relationship with social media has improved greatly and my mental health is actually significantly better. all of this is based on personal experience and observation and this post is specifically for people who want to cut down on phone usage, it's not supposed to be a preachy post that's telling people they spend too much time on their phone.
it's also nowhere near complete. it doesn't tackle addictions to games on phones nor the notorious tiktok. i said i would talk about it later and here it is. i have a chalkboard in my kitchen and all it has written on it is "tiktok is the devil". i have never seen such a commonly used app that has such a degrading effect on all of its users. and it set a precedent to all other social media apps for autoplaying videos that demand user engagement. i was on tiktok for a little less than a year and the way that it would sap anywhere from 20 minutes to over 3 hours of my time when i told myself i'd only watch a few videos was insane. as an aspiring creator i felt that i needed to hop on it to get recognition but now, i don't see it as anything more than a tarpit to trap as many people as possible in its dopamine rich algorithm. but whatever, that's just my little rant. as a social experiment i think it's fascinating lol and i for the creators it's benefited im very happy for them.
anywayy, i hope this helps someone if it gets any attention at all lol. remember no one can make the decision of how you spend your time on or offline but you. not some stranger on the internet, not corporations, no one. you are in control of your time (well besides the whole having to work most of your waking hours to survive but that's what communism is for yayy).
#tumblr#social media#social media addiction#phone addiction#capitalism#dystopia#important#i hope at least one person reads this 😭#but forreal distancing myself from my phone and being more present in my life has improved it sooo much#cannot emphasize this enough#also phone addiction is not a morally bad thing just like any addiction!!!#the irony of me posting this and then staying on the app waiting to see if it gets engagement#ahhh addiction

Complete guide to Flickr and why you should use it
bc I got some things wrong but it’s still a very good website that we should all use instead of Instagram
1: Flickr isn’t tied to Meta or any of that Facebook bullshit, from my knowledge it doesn’t share your contacts so no one will get a notification that you joined, it’s safer that way and more private than Instagram.
2: It’s built for photos. Instagram kills quality of photos, if you’re an artist, especially a digital one, uploading to Flickr would be way better for people to actually see detail and the color.
Going on with this because it’s built for photos, while it can host video, it doesn’t have TikTok/Reels and lives which is soooo nice. Like I don’t hate that stuff, but I like that Flickr isn’t trying to catch on the latest trends.
3: There isn’t likes. Flickr is mainly for sharing and LOOKING at photos. The most interaction you can get one on one is commenting, following, and favoriting. Favoriting is basically the public saves, no one really faves things on there unless it’s a recipe or for a reference or something.
4: Groups. Flickr does have an option for communities to make groups in where you can share similar interests MOST OF THESE ARE DEAD BUT WE CAN BRING THEM BACK!!! (IM BEGGING)
5: The bios are unlimited ( I think ), I copy and pasted the entire Bee Movie script three times along with my own bio that was already in there. I’m always pissed when I have to trim my bio, so bitches who like to put everything in their bio this website is for YOU
6: It’s in chronological order. Everything. You can even look up when certain posts where made by year, month, even fucking day. The archives of Flickr are so fucking fun.
7: Its not a contest. The main reason as to why I fucking hate Instagram (other than they took away chronological order and being able to see the recents under a tag) is that it focuses too much on “#aesthetic” even on the casual Instagram side people are still posing and trying to make an aesthetic of it. Flickr is just for photos you like, which yes can be aesthetic, but it’s mainly for daily life. You will see older people just posting what they are working on, maybe a cat they saw at the store, nothing planned. Just a quick unprompted click.
8: Organization, Flickr let’s you have Albums which is where you can organize all your photos in much like Pinterest. Most do it by year but others do it by topic too.
9: You can upload photos in bulk. You don’t have to upload them one by one, or at a limit of ten, you can upload a FUCK ton of photos at once.
10: if you don’t like ads and want more storage space, the pro version is extremely cheap compared to Netflix. Netflix without ads is fucking $15.49 and Flickr is $8.25 a month. There are also two other payment plans if that’s still too much for you.
11: It allowed adult content. In like. Every form. Enough said
CONS
1: You can’t DM (this is not a con to me and I hate when people complain about this just fucking use a email it is so fun to email people please for the love of god)
2: You can only upload 1,000 images before you run out of space. (You can always delete images later, I personally like to delete images at new years for a fresh start and archive them somewhere else)
3: it’s dead. No one really uses it.
4: to upload your bio you have to use a desktop version of the app.
THANK YOU FOR READING PLEASE SWITCH TO FLICKR AND SHARE THIS SO WE CAN START TO REVIVE OLD PLATFORMS TO SAVE THEM TO REBEL AGAINST META AND THIS NEW AGE OF CREATING SOCIAL MEDIA APPS AND SHIT

i'm gonna share an opinion that a lot of people are going to dislike but, I don't care as it's my blog and I can say what I want. I think that things like Tiktok, YouTube shorts, Facebook Reels etc are ruining movies.
I say this with the example of how over the past month that I can confidantly say that I've probably seen most, if not all, of Deadpool & Wolverine just through Facebook Reels. This is a real problem to me, especially the ones that are clearly people recording sections of the movie when they went and saw it in theaters like yes, that is a form of movie piracy.
I'd also honestly hate to be in a movie theater experience where that happens, just people recording the movie on their phones for content that isn't really theirs. That's another thing that bothers me about creators that make that kind of content and I have no problem saying that I don't think that they deserve to have as many like followers, or whatever they use, because it's not like they're making original content when they're just uploading clips of movies.
Now, of course, people are going to say to just scroll past them and yes, I do but, each one does auto play so it's not like scrolling past really does anything when I'm going to see part of it anyway.
Smaller mini rant using my Deadpool and Wolverine example from earlier is that the Deadpool fandom is toxic af. I can't tell you how many time in the comments of clips of Deadpool & Wolverine do I see a person share their opinion of they think the movie isn't that funny or they don't care for the 4th wall breaking and so on and the rest of the fandom just loses their mind when they see other people not like the same thing they do and I think that's really stupid behavior that isn't really going to bring more people into the fandom.

Facebook reel I saw yesterday that was kind of like hm, that's unfortunate but unsurprising.
This guy was talking about how his wife had just left her job because she hated it, and it was fine because he was making enough money to support them with ad revenue from social media, but the very next day he was demonetized under accusations of stealing and reposting his own videos.
Reposting is RAMPANT on all of the video sites and a lot of content creators have talked about how there are multiple dupes of their account recording and reposting their content. The price of fame, I guess.
I bet it is pretty difficult to prove you're the original account even with upload time stamps in the server's database, and I suspect a lot of the moderation is done algorithmically instead of by real people. A real person could easily check time stamps and look for videos that had been flipped to try to hide it from Algo (one thing I see a lot) or another one I've been seeing is messing with the audio so instead of it sounding like Aaaaaaaa. it's like ~aaAAaaAAaaAA~ or aa aa aa aa.
It makes me annoyed because That Guy has brought up the fact that I'm not a content creator when he was ranting about me refusing to work (which is untrue but I do have to closely examine every job opportunity and determine if I can physically do it and most I can't, like the meat grinder job at the grocery store would require 8 hours on my feet and I can't do that). I'm not a content creator because I don't have the charisma or content, my interests are niche, someone's already doing exactly what I would be doing with a better camera and more charisma even though they do a lot of things way differently than I would, and demonetization can happen at the drop of a pin, but literally any job can be like that. You can be employed one day and unemployed the next for any reason no matter what you're doing.

Is blogging still relevant in the age of TikToks and Instagram?
What is Blog?
Today's generation does not know what blogging is. Blogging is a method to express something that we are interested in or provide an understanding of what we want to convey to a large audience. In the era of globalization as we see it, blogging nowadays has almost disappeared among the teenagers. Blogging is now used to advance and promote business out there, including giving a review about a business services that is now growing rapidly or slowly.
(Artem Minaev, 2023)
One of the reasons why blogging is now decreasing among teenagers is because there are 2 applications that are now increasing with the popularity of users reaching hundreds of millions, namely Instagram and Tiktok. Instagram is an application where users can share videos and photos with friends and can comment on each uploaded photo and video reels. The function of Instagram is not very different compared to Facebook and Twitter. Tiktok is also a new application that has the same purpose as the Instagram application. The only difference is the way each application displays the media uploaded by the user. (Verge G. Kopytoff, 2011)
How do we want to maintain blogging in this day and age where it is getting swallowed up by the times? Let's discuss how to keep the blogging community among younger age more competitive with Instagram and Tiktok users.
Find a community with same interests
Every blogger has his own interests in the field of writing. In this way, able to find a community that has the same interests with each other. In addition, in a community that is able to provide a variety of opinions about the ideology that each blogger wants to convey. A very large community of bloggers can provide benefits to blog readers who want to know something they are looking for. Each writer has his own creativity to attract the interest of the readers by arranging pictures and visuals on the blog page to make it more engaging and visually appealing. Producing a well researched, informative and engaging blog posts will offer a unique value to your audiences.
Promote Blog on social media
Social media is used by most teenagers. You already knew that. Almost everyone does since there have been enough trend stories published about it. You must put forth the effort to promote your material if you want people to find it. You must adapt your promotion strategy to meet people where they are if you want them to find what you're attempting to reach. Social media is what most universities mean by that. Do not simply distribute the content and leave it at that. Pay attention to how people react. You may receive some comments that are not made on your blog but rather on one of your social media channels. The same laws are in effect. React and engage. (kristen Hicks, 2016)
Build a content about current trending among teenagers
If you want to make sure that your blog remains current, it is imperative that you keep up with industry trends. It's critical to keep up with breaking news, new technological developments, and shifting consumer trends. The following are a few methods for following market trends such as follow influencers and industry experts on social media. On sites like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, follow influencers and industry experts. This will enable you to interact with people in your field and remain up to date on the most recent news and trends.
Overall, there are endless benefits to having students blog in the classroom. Blogging is a great way to encourage students to express their ideas, be creative, develop confidence in writing, to communicate and collaborate with peers and the teacher. Blogging helps students to work on their online presence and become reflective in their learning as well (Fernando, 2023). Sometimes it might be difficult to get kids to start blogging because they may perceive it as being intimidating or quite different from writing on paper. Do you know anyone whose birthday is tomorrow? Maybe if I checked the birthdays tab on Facebook...but right off the bat, no, I wouldn’t know anyone having a birthday tomorrow.
What was the last thing you found that you thought you lost forever? Reena’s necklace gift that I talked about around three surveys ago. I’m so happy it’s back in my sight :((
Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop for the New Year? I’ve never been to the US.
If you have a Twitter, do you use something else besides the computer to update your tweets? Oh I rarely use my laptop to tweet now. It’s always through my phone.
The last time you said ‘I love you’ to someone, who said it first, them or you? They did.
Do you like potato salad? Can’t say I do; I don’t think I’ve ever tried one.
Who was the last person that apologized to you? Angela, although I did apologize right back because I felt like I was more at fault about the thing we were both saying sorry for.
Have you ever driven and ended up running out of gas? Noooooooo I avoid that happening at all costs. I wouldn’t know what to do if I got stranded somewhere, regardless if the area is familiar or not.
When was the last time you uploaded pictures from your camera? Around a week ago on Instagram when I did a photo dump of my recent trips. Did you do the laundry today? No.
What was the reason behind the last time you stayed up all night? Eh, just going through Instagram reels and edits which I can do long enough to have me stay up all night.
Did you straighten or curl your hair last? I don’t do either. It’s always either a trim or having it dyed altogether.
Have you ever been off-roading? Nope, not my thing.
Who was the last person you loaned money to? I didn’t exactly loan, but when my friends and I were booking Klook tours I had been the one to shoulder the full costs then they just paid me back within the month.
Was the last number you added to your cell phone a guy’s or girl’s number? Idk I never add contacts to my phone anymore.
Do you enjoy being a tease? I don’t do that.
Have you ever had a UFO sighting or a sighting of strange lights in the sky? Nope. I’ve seen what I thought were strange flashing lights but they always got debunked in the end. Usually just a plane, lol.
Who was the last person you caught lying to you? That hasn’t happened lately.
How old were you when you were first pulled over by the police? 18. I was changing lanes where I shouldn’t have been.
Do you have a webcam that’s built into your computer or did it come separately? It’s built into the laptop.
Was there ever a time that you lived on an island? I...kind of do? The Philippines is an archipelago.
Have you ever made a time capsule? Nah.
When was the last time you drank out of a champagne glass? I’ve never done that.
What was the last casino you went to? City of Dreams.
Does it flood easily where you live? Not here. The other parts of my village are less lucky though, so it’s fortunate we live where we do.
If you drive a car, does it come with side airbags? As far as I know, it doesn’t.

To help you make an informed decision, we’ve compiled a list of the top 10 video distribution services every independent artist should know. Each platform is unique in its features, audience, and potential for growth.
1. YouTube
Arguably the most popular video-sharing platform in the world, YouTube remains a top choice for independent artists. It offers unparalleled reach, with over 2 billion monthly active users globally. Artists can create their own channels, upload videos, and monetize their content through ads, memberships, and merchandise sales.
Pros: Massive audience, free to use, robust analytics.
Cons: High competition, strict copyright policies.
Best For: Musicians, filmmakers, and content creators seeking wide exposure.
2. Vimeo

Pros: High-quality playback, customizable embeds, niche audience.
Cons: Subscription fees for advanced features.
Best For: Artists focused on premium, professional presentations.
3. TikTok
TikTok has taken the world by storm, offering a platform for short, engaging video content. 4. Instagram (Reels and IGTV)
Instagram’s video capabilities have expanded with Reels and IGTV. These features allow artists to share short clips or longer videos with their followers. Instagram’s visual-first approach makes it a natural fit for photographers, painters, and digital artists looking to engage with their audience.
Pros: Built-in audience, integration with other content types.
Cons: Algorithm-driven reach, limited discoverability outside the app.
Best For: Artists with an existing Instagram following.
5. Facebook Watch
Facebook Watch combines social media engagement with video distribution, offering creators a chance to share long-form content. With over 2.8 billion monthly active users on Facebook, this platform is a powerful tool for connecting with diverse audiences.

How to Use Social Media to Become a Successful Music Artist in India
The digital revolution has completely transformed the way the music industry operates, especially in a diverse and vibrant country like India. Social media platforms have given artists the power to share their talent with millions of people, build a global fanbase, and even earn a steady income. For aspiring musicians, this presents an unprecedented opportunity to showcase their work without relying solely on traditional gatekeepers like record labels.
If your dream is to become a successful music artist in India, mastering social media is no longer optional—it’s essential. Platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook allow you to connect directly with your audience, promote your music, and build your brand. This guide will help you understand how to make the most of these platforms to turn your passion into a flourishing career.
1. Identify the Right Platforms for Your Music
Every social media platform serves a different purpose, and not all of them may align with your goals as a musician. Here’s a breakdown:
YouTube: Ideal for sharing music videos, live performances, and tutorials.
Instagram: Great for engaging with fans through Stories, Reels, and behind-the-scenes content.
TikTok: Perfect for creating viral short-form videos to reach a younger audience.
Facebook: Useful for building a community and hosting events.
Twitter: Effective for sharing updates and interacting with your audience directly.
Choosing the right platform based on your target audience and content style will help you maximize your reach and engagement.
2. Build a Content Strategy
Consistency is key to growing your presence on social media. Develop a content calendar to plan your posts in advance. Your strategy could include:
Regularly uploading music covers and original tracks.
Sharing snippets of your songwriting or recording process.
Engaging fans with Q&A sessions or polls.
Highlighting milestones, like new releases or live performances.
Use trending hashtags and challenges to increase visibility. Additionally, posting at optimal times ensures that your content reaches more people.
3. Create High-Quality Content
With the competition fierce on social media, quality matters. Invest in good recording equipment for audio and video. Even if you’re shooting with a smartphone, ensure proper lighting and sound quality. Remember, your content represents your brand as a professional artist.
4. Leverage Reels, Shorts, and Stories
Short-form video content like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok videos is dominating the digital space. These formats are highly shareable and have the potential to go viral. Use these features to:
Share quick behind-the-scenes moments.
Showcase live performances or jam sessions.
Create challenges or trends around your original tracks.
For example, many Indian artists have gained overnight fame through viral challenges inspired by their songs.
5. Collaborate with Influencers and Other Artists
Collaborations amplify your reach. Partner with influencers in the music niche or collaborate with fellow musicians to create unique content. This not only brings in new followers but also adds credibility to your profile.
6. Engage Actively With Your Audience
Social media is a two-way street. Replying to comments, acknowledging fan art, and hosting live sessions help build a loyal fanbase. Fans love artists who interact with them personally, and these connections can turn casual listeners into lifelong supporters.
7. Use Social Media Advertising
Paid promotions on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube can give your content a significant boost. Start with small budgets to promote your music to a targeted audience. Use analytics to refine your campaigns and ensure a higher return on investment.
8. Promote Your Music Across Platforms
Use every platform to cross-promote your music. For instance:
Share snippets of your YouTube videos on Instagram Reels.
Post the link to your Spotify or Apple Music profile in your bios.
Encourage fans to share your content on their stories and tag you.
Platforms like Deliver My Tune can help distribute your music across multiple streaming services, making it easier for fans to find and enjoy your tracks.

Every platform offers insights into how your content is performing. Pay attention to metrics like reach, engagement, and audience demographics to understand what works best. Use this data to fine-tune your content strategy for maximum impact.
10. Stay Authentic
Audiences on social media value authenticity. Share your story, your struggles, and your journey. Whether it’s an imperfect take or a personal anecdote, being real resonates with fans and helps them feel connected to you as an artist.
Conclusion
Social media has leveled the playing field for aspiring musicians in India, making it easier than ever to share your music and connect with fans. By strategically leveraging platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, you can not only gain visibility but also build a sustainable career.

The Future of Video Marketing: Why Video Distribution Services Are Essential
The digital marketing landscape has evolved dramatically over the past decade, with video content emerging as one of the most powerful mediums for engagement. From social media platforms to corporate websites, video has become the preferred format for conveying messages, telling stories, and driving sales. But in an era where audiences are spread across multiple platforms, simply creating great video content isn't enough. To truly harness the power of video, brands need to ensure that their content reaches a wide and relevant audience. This is where a video distribution service becomes essential. By automating and optimizing the process of sharing videos across multiple channels, these services ensure that your content gets maximum exposure, enhancing engagement, brand visibility, and return on investment. In this article, we will explore why video distribution services are crucial for the future of marketing and how they can help brands stay ahead in a rapidly changing digital world.
1. The Shift to Video Marketing
Video marketing has seen exponential growth, with platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn leading the charge. Statistics show that over 80% of internet traffic now consists of video content, indicating a clear preference among consumers. The reason is simple: videos are engaging, easy to consume, and can convey complex messages quickly and effectively.
The Rise of Short-Form and Long-Form Content
Short-Form Content: Platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts have popularized quick, snappy videos that grab attention in mere seconds. For marketers, this means creating content that can capture interest instantly.
Long-Form Content: On the other hand, platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, and even LinkedIn accommodate more detailed, in-depth videos that allow brands to educate, inform, and entertain their audience.
2. The Role of Video Distribution Services in Modern Marketing
As the demand for video content grows, so does the need for efficient distribution. A video distribution service is a tool that helps marketers upload and manage their videos across multiple platforms from a single, centralized location. This automation not only saves time but also ensures consistency and quality across all channels.
Key Functions:
Centralized Management: Upload, edit, schedule, and track videos from a single dashboard.
Platform Optimization: Adjusts video settings, formats, and metadata to suit the requirements of different platforms.
Analytics & Reporting: Provides insights on video performance, helping marketers make data-driven decisions.
3. Why Video Distribution Services are Essential for the Future of Marketing
The future of marketing is video-driven, and brands that can effectively distribute their content will have a significant edge over competitors. Here are several reasons why video distribution services are critical for future marketing success:
a. Expanding Reach Across Diverse Audiences
Every social media platform has its unique audience base, and video distribution services allow you to tap into each of these segments without the hassle of manual uploads. For example, while LinkedIn might be ideal for B2B content, platforms like Instagram and TikTok appeal more to younger, B2C audiences. A video distribution service ensures that your content reaches these varied demographics effortlessly.
Example: A brand promoting a new product can use a video distribution service to upload an introductory video on YouTube, share a snippet on Instagram Reels, and post a more detailed walkthrough on LinkedIn — all from one platform.
b. Automation Saves Time and Resources
In marketing, time is of the essence. Video distribution services automate the process of uploading and scheduling videos across platforms, allowing marketers to focus more on strategy and creativity. This is particularly beneficial for companies running multiple campaigns simultaneously, as it eliminates the need to manually adjust videos for each platform’s specifications.
c. Consistent Brand Messaging Across Platforms
Maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity across various platforms can be challenging when managing uploads manually. Video distribution services help ensure that your brand’s messaging remains consistent, whether your videos are seen on YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram. Consistency builds trust and reinforces brand recognition, which is key to long-term success.
Benefit: Consistency across platforms means viewers will have the same brand experience, regardless of where they interact with your content.
4. Emerging Trends in Video Distribution Services
As technology advances, video distribution services continue to evolve, offering new features that align with the future of digital marketing.
a. AI-Powered Content Distribution
Artificial intelligence is increasingly being integrated into video distribution services, allowing marketers to automatically tailor content for different audiences. For example, AI can analyze which types of videos perform best on certain platforms and suggest adjustments, such as changing thumbnails, adding captions, or altering video length.
Future Potential: AI-powered services could potentially analyze audience behavior to suggest optimal posting times and platforms, enhancing engagement rates.
b. Integration with E-Commerce
Shoppable videos are becoming more popular, especially on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Video distribution services are now offering features that allow brands to integrate direct purchasing options within their videos, turning content into an instant sales channel.
Example: A fashion brand can upload a new product video with embedded shopping links, allowing viewers to make purchases without leaving the video.
5. How to Choose the Right Video Distribution Service
With the growing number of options available, choosing the right video distribution service can be daunting. Here are some factors to consider:
a. Supported Platforms
Ensure that the service supports all the platforms where you intend to publish content. The more comprehensive the list, the better.
b. Ease of Use
The interface should be intuitive, making it easy to upload, edit, and schedule videos. Look for services that offer features like drag-and-drop editing, bulk uploads, and customizable dashboards.
c. Cost and Scalability
Evaluate the cost structure and ensure that the service can scale with your business. As your video marketing needs grow, the service should be able to accommodate increased volume and additional features without excessive costs.
6. The Future Outlook: Why Video Will Dominate Marketing
Video content is expected to continue dominating marketing efforts, thanks to its ability to engage and convert. Brands that leverage video distribution services will not only be able to reach larger audiences but will also be better positioned to adapt to changes in digital marketing trends.
Key Statistics:
93% of marketers say video is an integral part of their strategy.
88% of marketers report that video gives them a positive ROI.
Video content is shared 1,200% more than text and images combined on social media.
Conclusion: As digital marketing continues to evolve, the importance of video content cannot be overstated. To stay ahead of the competition and effectively engage audiences, brands need to leverage tools that simplify and optimize the distribution process. A video distribution service offers a comprehensive solution, automating uploads, managing platforms, and providing insightful analytics to refine marketing strategies. For businesses looking to future-proof their marketing efforts, investing in a robust video distribution service is not just an option — it’s a necessity. By streamlining content sharing and enhancing brand consistency, these services pave the way for higher engagement, better visibility, and ultimately, greater success in a video-centric world.

I don’t know how this will come across but it seems to me like going to the movie theater is something people don’t care all that much about when they do it. What I mean is, you know how before the main movie starts that a little text blurb pops up saying something along the lines of “for the sake of the filmmakers, please silence your phones”. Now, because of recent things I have been seeing in places like Facebook Reels and YouTube Shorts, I would say that perhaps they need to add something about putting ones phone away or turning it off completely.
I can not tell you how many times now when I scrolls Facebook Reels or YouTube Shorts that I see clips of the movie Black Adam that I can tell are people recording portions of the movie on their phone when they’ve seen the movie in theaters. I don’t know if people know this, but even if it is short parts of the movie, it is still piracy and the fact that you’re uploading this clips online is like admitting to doing it. I don’t watch the clips of Black Adam when they pop up, I just keep scrolling but I feel like at this point, if someone took all the clips, downloaded them and spliced them together in video editing software, you would have most, if not, all of Black Adam...in varying quality of course.
