i think a really great aspect of oofuri is how much it gets mihashi's ass for being overly timid and dependent. it would be really easy to write off the way he and abe interact as being abe's fault because he is overbearing, and a lot of people do, but it has some really great moments of going "hey, you cannot hide behind abe or depend on him to make every decision. it's not good for you, or him, or the team."

aa i think you asked for requests? HATZGANG PLZ- AND/OR SUSIE
According to my inbox this ask was submitted on May 24th 2023, but it first appeared in my inbox just yesterday. You said on your blog that you recently got un-shadowbanned so that might be the reason
Anyways here's some Hatzgang + Susie drawings I did today whilst playing the Telltale Sam & Max games, took me about 2 hours but I like them (except for Ross, I'm not good at drawing him for some reason)

Next up is Finn Blake, our resident final boy, baseball player and resident necromancer!!
I was really worried I made Finn look too old for his age as a 13 to 14 year old, but I decided to just go with it because I already headcannon Finn as really tall so if he looks older I’m really sorry,
But anyway, in this au Finn is a necromancer (and later I’ll have to outline the rules and logics behind this) but after his kidnapping and him killing the Grabber he gained a lot of confidence and self worth.
I headcannon that before the reason why Finn never really stood up for himself was because he was scared and that he felt it was just better to take it than create more trouble as he has seen what standing up to an abuser does (I.e. the scene with Gwen and her dad.) he felt it just wasn’t worth it to get hurt more for being defiant.
And sadly only after his kidnapping, realized that he can’t do that anymore because being complacent in one’s abuse isn’t worth it, that it’s better to be loud and defiant then to just keep taking the punches.
However no matter how confident Finn is now he still has trauma, he never lets any of the ghost boys leave anywhere alone and neither does he, he always manages to keep a baseball bat on his person, and lastly the night terrors.
Finn has nightmares of those dying, he dreams he never left that basement, that Griffin and Robin and all the boys were still dead, he dreams of the Grabber somehow learning about Gwen and killing her. It scared him, it leaves him rushing into one of his siblings rooms to check on them.
And Finn is also the resident shoulder to lean on, he gave the boys life again and saw them at their literal lowest and saw their traumas laid out, the boys trust him a lot. For some it’s easier to come to him but for others it’s harder and Finn knows this because somehow he can always tell.
Overall Finn is a clever, sweet, confident young kid who tries to help the people he cares about.

OH WAIT I FORGOT TO POST THIS!
I title this: Smoking is cool and all 7 year olds should try it.
My DND OC Violet (shadow monk/rogue) in a baseball pinup sort of vibe, I'm obsessed with her. Heavily inspired by my time in the TF2 fandom and a certain type of scout art.
Violet hits things with a stick until they die too, so it kinda fits lmao. I may do more inspired by other TF2 classes? We will see.

i love the comments on the latest chapter of the path to paradise where people are like 'akutagawa leave those crabs alone!'
because that's something I do
literally traveling the world's oceans, harassing all of God's crustaceans
for example took a weekend trip with my partner for our 6 year wedding anniversary a few days ago and spent a solid multiple hours searching for and harassing crabs
here is photo evidence of the largest and most in-chargest one I found:

if a right-handed animorph morphed a left-handed person (or vice versa), would they still be right-handed?
Hmmmmm. Someone who knows more kinesiology than me will probably disagree, but. I'd venture: if Cassie's a lefty and morphs Rachel who's a righty, then she'd probably have a stronger right than left hand in that morph, but might be better at doing things lefthanded than real-Rachel would. If someone throws a baseball at Cassie-in-morph, she'll be faster at getting her left hand up to catch it than real-Rachel would be and clumsier at actually catching it than unmorphed-Cassie would be.
Based on what little I do know, handedness is very set in most adults but more flexible the younger a kid is, and some people are more flexible than others. For example, a lot of kids switch between hands when first learning to write, and the practice of teachers simply telling everyone to use their right hands led a decent percent of kids with potential for left-hand dominance or ambidexterity to spend so much time writing righty they eventually became right-hand dominant over the years. There are also people like me who are right-hand dominant but can comfortably eat/clean/throw lefty if needed, and even write neatly with the off hand. There are also people like my former roomie who can't even get a good grip on a pen or spoon with their left hands, no matter what. There are even people like my uncle who - following a bout of meningitis, or possibly the anesthesia during surgery - switch hand dominance as teenagers.
So. I think lefty-Cassie's mind would be used to doing things lefty, and would have the potential to teach a Rachel-morph to become more ambidextrous over many many hours. But I also think righty-Rachel's physical brain would have more circuits connecting the pathways for doing things righty, and more muscle memory for being righty. And if Cassie used that morph enough, she might become an eensy bit more ambidextrous over the first several years' worth of morph time. But it'd probably depend on whether either of them has my style of hand dominance (where I'll eat or write lefty any time my right hand's occupied) or my roomie's style (where the left hand is barely used) or somewhere in between.

saw this on twitter and immediately had so many thoughts
probably a good time, rikiya would be watching romcoms and crying the entire flight but haruka and nishiki would be playing madlibs or looking up their astrology charts or w/e and itd be cute
yamai probably smells overwhelmingly of cigarettes and/or like an old man's closet but he'd mind his own business, normal flight
daigo would be turned around talking to mine and occasionally starting shit with ryuji the whole flight, annoying
adachi and ichiban would be playing flick football the first half of the flight and youd get hit by the little paper football like every 4 minutes, ichi would apologize every time and invite you to play and also offer to share snacks. when they both end up falling asleep adachi snores like a motherfucker. depends on your noise tolerance/if you like flick football
shinada's either writing up articles for work super last minute and is therefore looking pics of tits & ass with no regard for the fact that he's in public, or he's watching live baseball and yelling at the screen, while tanimura watches 11 episodes of law and order: svu in a row. depends on your tolerance for whatever shinada's doing/how well you fit in the middle seat given shinada's build
akiyama gets up constantly to both annoy kiryu and to just walk the aisle and spy on other people's business, kiryu's playing the in-flight trivia game the whole way and gets way too into it but will leave you alone. generally fine if you dont mind getting up
goated seat imo, joongi would mind his own business and/or be too busy talking to zhao to bother you and also would be perfectly polite about getting up to let you out. however you would be subjected to whatever the fuck would be happening in front of you
miserable seat, the only way this is tolerable is if either saejima or majima agrees to swap, but saejima's too damn big for the middle seat anyway, and majima probably refuses just for the sake of being difficult. saejima spends the whole flight trying to sleep but can't bc majima keeps bugging the shit out of him, and you'd be stuck in the crossfire. worst seat by far
i personally always need a window seat on a flight (preferably towards the front) or i get sick as hell so im going 7 > 2 > 4 > 1 > 6 > 3 > 5 > 8

🙏 🙏 🙏 for the wip game :-)
for the lead up to this snippet... see this ask and this ask. enjoy (or don't) these raw unedited sentences:
If Evan asked Tommy to do anything, he would without hesitation – all because of that face – and he briefly wonders how many others have been where he is standing. He moves a hand to rest on the back of Evan’s neck, fingertips playing with the still damp ends of his hair.
“Mmm…” He leans in, catching Evan’s bottom lip between his teeth and tugging gently before diving in for a proper kiss, reveling in the way Evan melts against him and parts his lips invitingly. Tommy presses his tongue inside, sliding against the back of Evan’s teeth, before reluctantly pulling away.
Evan swallows. His hands trailing up and down Tommy’s sides, seemingly unable to pick just one spot to hold onto. “Are you going to show me?” He whispers, whining low in his throat.
Yeah, that’s a face and voice Tommy would do anything for.

baseball au
Chrissy's home for the holidays and is dying to get out of the house, so she offers to take her brother to see the baseball, since his team are playing locally. In his excitement, her brother shows her his baseball card collection to teach her all about the teams that are playing, and gives her all the dupes he has of his beloved team. One card particularly sticks out for Chrissy - while baseball may not be her thing, center field Steve Harrington certainly is. And judging by the spectacle he creates when he notices her in the crowd, deliberately angling a hit to land practically in her brother's lap, and getting the crowd to pass his phone to her to get her number, that feeling's most definitely mutual.
