“If you’re not gonna help, then leave my dorm!”
“Ehhhh, hell no! It’s cold as fuck outside; you want me to freeze to death?”
“They’re…still going at it.”
“Yeah…give it a minute, and we’ll just go to the library without them?”
It’s coming down to the last week of January; university students are finally settling in with their new schedules and getting used to the groove of the spring semester. Or some run around trying to keep up with the new semesters and the change of weather already getting on people’s nerves, wanting nothing more than spring to come quickly.
Three weeks in, and you already have stuff to do, one of them being an argumentative presentation assigned by Professor Yaga in your Contemporary Issues class. You and three other people are tasked to find sources for a topic issue you find interesting and then present a discussion-based presentation on two sides of the topic (two people in favor and two people against).
Unfortunately, the groups were to be randomly assigned. Luckily, two friends you knew in the class, Haibara and Ijichi, were picked to work alongside you! However, the bad part was that another person you knew was assigned to work with you, and he happens to be the guy getting on your last nerves right now, sitting on your couch while clicking through the television channels with the remote.
Your roommates weren’t home today. The club fair was occurring at the quad, so Mei Mei and Utahime had to go out and represent their clubs for the afternoon. Shoko is having an intense study session with Geto for an exam on the first of February, so they’re at the library now.
That leaves you alone at your dorm, using this as a perfect opportunity to invite your group over to work on the project.
“You can freeze your nuts off and become the next Jack Frost for all I care; if you’re not going to do your part of the work, get out!”
Well, minus you yelling at your partner, who clicks his teeth before turning to you. His round sunglasses shone from the light reflected from the living room windows.
Satoru Gojo was your number one nemesis within these campus grounds; this was a known fact to everyone, especially the other group members who nervously examined you two bicker. Being in the same space as him is enough to make you wish you could pull your hair out or put him in the nastiest headlock you could do. Worse, being assigned to the same group as him for your project almost made you want to rip your ears off.
But you had to suck it up; at least you were the first group to start a presentation. Better now than worry about it later, right?
“Pssh, fine, I’ll get up and—Oh! Wait, you guys have Digimon on Hulu? Ahhh, sick!”
Nevertheless, you can’t say that when your supposed partner acts like a child glued to your TV screen instead of doing the work he promised to do. You grit your teeth with a twitching brow, “Why you…”
Across from the common area was the kitchen, where Haibara and Ijichi sat at the dining table. The two sophomores could do nothing but feel the tension between you and Gojo grow with every passing second, suffocating the younger duo. Haibara eyes Ijichi from across the table and whispers, “Wanna make a run for it now?”
The black-haired second-year didn’t reply, only a hurried nod before the two grabbed their coats and stuffed their laptops back into their backpacks. The sound of their zippers alerts your ears, turning to them to question, “Huh? Where are you two going?”
Haibara takes it upon himself to deliver a half-lie as he zips up his jacket. “On second thought, Ijichi and I are thinking of taking the shuttle to the library to work instead.”
Huh? The library? Were they leaving because of the belligerence between you and Gojo? God, you hoped not. “Wait, you guys don’t have to do that. I already made you guys walk all this way here; it’d be rough to have you leave for somewhere else…”
Ijichi comes with the assist after putting the sling of his messenger bag around his shoulder. “It’s okay, Y/n. We found material from the library we could use as sources, so we’re heading up there to take some notes while they’re there.”
“Yup!” Haibara exclaims in agreement, and the two walk past you to put on their shoes by the front door. “Maybe you guys can find sources of your own while we’re gone, and then we can converse and share what we found when we come back. Sounds good?”
“I suppose so…” you couldn’t shake the feeling that they were leaving to avoid being in the same room as you and Gojo. The guilt is hard to endure since you didn’t mean to make the younger boys uncomfortable. “See you guys, then.”
“Cya!” And with that, the door closes on their way out, leaving you and Gojo alone in your apartment.
Well, this is just great; you’ve driven your group members and friends away and are now stuck with the nuisance of a partner who still keeps his attention on the television. It takes everything in your power not to pop a vein. But with one calm breath, you steady yourself and stand tall.
You walk in front of the TV, blocking it from Gojo’s view. The white-haired boy throws his hands up in exasperation, but you couldn’t care less. “What’s the big idea?” He questions you as if he has a right to at this moment.
You cross your arms across your chest with narrow eyes. “Haibara and Ijichi just left.”
“Uhh, yeah, I heard the door,” he maneuvers his body to try and see the children’s show blocked by your figure. “Doesn’t have to do with me—“
“It does have to do with you.” You interrupt him, taking two steps and bending to stare him down. Your face is a foot away from his. “You’re supposed to be here to work with Haibara on the ’no’ part of the argument while me and Ijichi do our part. You’ve only been here for thirty minutes, and the only thing you’ve done successfully is take off your shoes at the door and read your manga books on the couch.
Gojo chuckles – oh, how you hated his laugh – as he puts his hands behind his head, spreading his long legs from their crossed form. “You heard them, no? They’re going to research on their own and then come back. Besides, you know I’m not one to start stuff right away. I’m a procrastinator, remember?”
“You’re annoying; that’s what you are.” You straighten up with a heavy sigh.  God, I wish Utahime and Shoko were here. They’d help me out with this white garbage…
“Ahhh, lighten up, Y/n. It’s not like the presentation is on Monday; we got until Friday to come up with everything.”
“Yeah, I’m aware of that, smartass. And you’re right: I do know you. And I know you tend to do things at the last fucking minute. But not this time!” You watch him try to put his feet up on the coffee table, and you quickly intervene by kicking them off.
“Tch. Look, you knew what you were getting into being partnered with me. And relax; those two said they’ll be back to discuss the material later. They already left – nothing I can do about it.”
Your hands rest at your hips, tapping your foot with visible frustration. “Oh? And I wonder why they left in the first place, Gojo. Mind telling me how?”
He quirks up a brow with a smug grin — a telling sign that you’d get ticked off with whatever he’s about to say. “I don’t know, Y/n. Why not ask the nagging control freak talking to me right now, huh? Maybe their short height and angry temper are affecting the mood of those around them to be miserable like them.”
You almost did it — your hands nearly gave into your intrusive thoughts and were about to lunge at the snow-haired guy’s neck to wring around like a rag doll. But you played it off with a clap, rubbing the palms together to distract your temporary violent thoughts.
You sucked your teeth and turned on your heel. “Forget it. I’m gonna go take a nap.”
He scoffs, “Good, maybe your tiny brain needs it to calm down.”
“Choke and die, Gojo!” You say down the hall, already at the door of your shared bedroom. Before slamming the door shut, Gojo’s patronizing laughter can be heard to your dismay. With gritted teeth, you march to your bed to throw yourself on the mattress.
“Ughhh. That Satoru Gojo,” you curse his name under your breath as if he’d hear you through the walls. “So unserious…”
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
To be quite honest with himself, Gojo doesn’t necessarily hate you.
The white-haired boy lies on his side on Utahime’s bed, watching you nap. He did knock on the door – believe him, he did. He even gave you the good old ten-second rule, waiting for your response. But then you didn’t, which gave him the initiative to waltz in and see you in your slumber.
You slept so peacefully; your face at peace, and your faint snores were the only things his ears picked up on. It was as if your little nagging show from earlier was hard to comprehend when seeing your tranquil state in front of him. It used to be rare to see you like this. Keywords: used to be.
For the past two to three weeks, your relationship with Gojo has become more…intimate. Ever since he took your first kiss and drew your virgin curtains, the two of you have gotten a little closer than before — both platonically and physically. Something that Gojo never thought he’d experience with you, his tiny, cute frenemy.
Gojo has known you since freshman year; you were two in the same enrichment group to prepare you to transition into college life. Personally, he wasn’t much for the program; he found it a waste of time, a mandatory prerequisite that he felt he didn’t need. He’s all about experience, wanting nothing more than to get on with his day, go to classes, hang with friends, and repeat.
“Hello, my name is Y/n. It’s nice to meet you all!”
And then came you, the person sitting across from him at the round table your group would always meet at. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t enamored by you the second he saw you. Gojo rarely finds someone who could easily pull his eyes to them — not saying the girls who’d usually crowd and admire him weren’t pretty. There was something about you that kept him wanting to know more – to engage more – about you.
One thing he knew from you was that you carried your character with pride. Your achievements, your personality, your kindness, and your mannerisms — all of which were displayed elegantly and were a breath of fresh air to look at. You stood out to him more than all the other kids in the group, his eyes always finding a way to steer from the professor’s advice to your alluring, listening face.
Another thing Gojo liked about you was that you weren’t afraid to stand your ground, especially when discussing with your peers or him. Sure, you were always respectful and would respect other people’s arguments. But, God, the way you said things so constructed and nuanced, it had the tall other glued to you whenever you spoke.
He’s not going to lie; he’ll admit that he’d try to tick you off and get you to get a little angry with him when it came to arguing. He couldn’t help it. He just liked the thought of you layering out of your poised appearance to the point you’d glare at him whenever you saw him in the halls. And it had him giddy knowing he’s the one that made you angry because you looked cute.
And that was the other thing he really liked about you. The more you two interacted, argued, hung out with his friends, or attended classes together, the more Gojo’s fascination for you turned into that of a school-boy crush. He wouldn’t admit to anyone of this (minus Geto and Shoko if his life depended on it) because it certainly wasn’t something to be known. He was okay with what you two had right now, being the friend who loves to push your buttons to see you nag at him.
That was until you two started sleeping together. Because holy fuck, the past weeks you two have been sneaking time to have each other’s bodies close made Gojo’s mind go crazy. So fucking crazy like the feeling of you on him is borderline addicting. Your whiny cries calling out to him when he scrapes your sweet spots, your nails scrape on his chest, your half-lidded eyes when you look at him, or how you whisper his name only for him to hear.
This was the kind of relationship you two brewed, a secret thing only between you two. And Gojo was satisfied keeping it like this because it was what you wanted. No need to flaunt it around; it was no one’s business. Besides, he likes having you to himself, seeing a side of you that only he could imagine and experience.
The sensations of your body under his touch, the various tunes of your voice, and the beauty exhibited in your gaze. It was all addicting. You were addicting.
“Who told you to lie on my roommate’s bed? You know she’ll kill you if she ever saw you.”
It was so addicting that he didn’t even notice you awake until you spoke to him, the erotic memories of you clouding his brain dissipating at the indication of your voice. He smirks, “Oh, I’ll be fine; not like she can hurt me with her tiny self.”
You’re too groggy to roll your eyes, sighing as you turn to your side to face him from across the room. “How long was I out for?”
“Almost an hour,” he replies, switching to sit criss-cross on Utahime’s bed. “I got bored watching TV and knocked.”
“How long have you been in here?”
“Maybe twenty minutes?”
“Just watching me sleep?”
“Yeah.”
You let out a scoff, shaking your head. “Weirdo.”
He snickers at you for recognizing his silliness. “Whaaat? There’s not much to do aside from looking at you. I got bored of the TV.”
“What about your manga?”
“Got bored of that, too.”
“Anyone on your socials that you’d wanna talk to? Girls? Friends? Your teammates?”
“Mmm, nah, none I’d wanna talk to right now.”
Your brows furrowed. “What do you mean?”
“Hmm?”
“What do you mean ‘right now’? You make it seem like I’m keeping you from interacting with your outside life. If you’re bored, talk with whoever you want. Maybe bother Geto…No, nevermind, he’d probably be annoyed since he’s studying.”
Gojo examines you, silently removing himself from your roommate’s bed and treading towards yours. He takes off his sunglasses and places them on top of your dresser before sitting on his knees on the floor. He rests his hands and chin on the edge of your bed, his sky-blue eyes locked in with yours. God, you were so beautiful to look at.
“I meant that I don’t want to talk to anybody.” Now that he’s closer to you, his voice dials to a whisper. “Not when I got you here to myself.”
He notices your brows drawing upward at the sentence. “To yourself?”
“Mhmm,” he hums, bringing a forefinger to trace your brow. A sensual touch not to startle you. “Just you and me.”
You give him a look as if you think he’s trying to pull something. “Don’t tell me you were making me mad at you earlier just so Haibara and Ijichi could leave, and I’d be stuck with you.”
His smile broadens with every word, his dimples out to see. “No, although I hate that I didn’t think of that myself.” His hand goes to your cheek for his thumb to stroke gently. “Would it have been a bad thing if I did?”
You don’t reply, only placing your hand on his. Your eyes are still on his blue orbs, and – you don’t know this because Gojo has the perfect view of you – the light from the window made them shine charmingly as it highlighted your face.
“No…I don’t think so,” you murmur, gaze gradually venturing down to his lips. “I like being around you…Satoru.”
He heard his name leave your lips, an invitation to what he wants to do, his eyes fixated on your lips before closing them and drawing in closer. “Me too…”
The kiss was soft and gentle like he always starts with, waiting for you to give him the okay to kiss you again. And when you meekly lick his bottom lip, he gives in to your request and claims your lips again.
Your moans were so sweet to his ears — his favorite thing to hear — especially when he becomes a little devilish and sucks on your tongue to make you whimper a little louder, turning him on even more. It serves as the perfect distraction for him to snake a hand into your shirt, his hand already making itself home and cupping your breast in your bra.
You break the kiss with a gasp, and massages to your mound make your breath shaky. “Mmmah…you sneaky pervert,” you name-call him sweetly.
“Can’t blame me; I just know that you like to have your tits played with.” Gojo sneers, tweaking your nipple to hear you gasp again. “Hey, remember you said you’d suck me off next time?”
“Huh?” The question threw you off before you could fall deeper into a euphoric haze.
“Don’t ‘huh’ me, you promised!” He whines to you like a hurt puppy. “After I ate you out for twenty minutes straight last time, can I just have your mouth on my dick once?”
“I never told you to eat me out for twenty minutes!”
“You crying and telling me not to stop said otherwise!” He stands his argument, even if you warn him with a glare. “Just suck it, please. I haven’t felt your mouth in a while.”
Oh, for fuck’s sake. You didn’t expect to deal with his childish tendencies, but it is Gojo we’re talking about. You sigh, “…Fine, Satoru.” And then the white-headed boy beamed at the confirmation, immediately standing up and heading to your desk. It was an abrupt change of pace for a second until he brought your desk chair out.
With glee, Gojo flings his jeans and boxers with ease, his half-hard cock out for you to see. He sits on your chair with spread legs, “I’m ready~.”
You roll your eyes, yet the smile on your face sneaks without you knowing while leaving your bed and crouching between his legs. “You’re such a big baby sometimes…”
Your hand finds its way to the body of his dick, gliding it up and down to feel the veins under your palm and fingertips. Gojo hums to your cold fingers, hitching his breath when you tease him with a blow of air.
Your free hand comes to his balls, massaging his testicles in a way that has his leg jerk. He tries to fight it, but the squirm on his legs says otherwise. “Hahhh, fuck…quit it…”
“Hmm? What, you don’t like it when I tease you?” You peer up at him with a smug grin before using your tongue to lick on the glans slowly, and he covers his mouth before a gasp comes out after lapping on his frenulum. “But when you do it to me, it’s not a problem, huh?”
“Mmmph, shiit, Y/n—Ohhh…!” Another jolt of the hips after you lick and kiss one of his balls, teasing the skin with a kiss and tiny chews that would have him choke on his breath. “Jesus, fuck! Y/n, baby, you’re driving me crazy….Aishhh!!
“Oh, really?” God, you were such a fucking tease. But he fucking loved that so much. “What should I do?” You ask him before sucking on his balls again, and a hand comes to your shoulder to grip.
“Mmmm…Blow me off, princess,” shivers crawl up his spine as you place kisses from the base of his cock towards the tip. “Please, I wanna feel you…”
You giggle at his reply, finally taking in his cockhead to your pretty lips and sighing through your nose as you hollow your cheeks to take in more of him.
Gojo sighs at your licks and sucks on his girth, his erection becoming accommodated to your oral cavity wonderfully. You unhurriedly prompt yourself to take in more of him until your lips reach his pubes, your throat now full of him, and the warmness of your gummy walls makes him squirm more.
Bobbing your head at a moderate pace, you suck him off to that of a pleasurable cadence. You still use your hands to stroke him, Gojo melting to your touch even more. He throws his head back when you attack his tip again with the onslaught of licks and laps, the hand on his balls roughly kneading them jerks him to moan aloud.
Fuck, it feels so fucking good having you suck him off like this. How your tongue moved up and down on him was so dangerous, prompting him to place a hand on your head for support. As if that would help, you don’t show him mercy when you suck him harder and faster. The noises coming from your mouth sounded so erotic and pornographic, the heat on his face brewing out more.
“—Khhmm, fuck, man, I can’t…Ahhh! Y/n, I’m gonna cum if you keep licking it like that. Stop, st—Ahhaaa!!”
But like he said before – you’re a tease (if not worse than him). You remove Gojo’s dick from your mouth and throat at once, the groan he exerts fueling the fire in your body. You stand to withdraw your shirt, bra, and panties to the ground, knowing Gojo’s watching every move. “Don’t get mad at me; I know how much you wanna cum inside.”
You pull out the condom from the pocket of your skirt, placing the rubber on his cock after removing it from the wrapper. He couldn’t help but laugh, “Seems like you’re more of a pervert than me if you had that ready while those two were here earlier.”
“Shut up,” you playfully kiss him with a sneaky bite to his bottom lip. Then, you mount and align your cunt on his dick, the glans kissing your wet labia. “Hmmm, fuck…”
“Relax, cutie,” he kisses you on the cheek while his hands fondle your breasts.
You slowly descend your slit onto him, the tip of his cock pushing into the entrance of your vagina. A couple of exhales and inhales keep you steady when inserting him into you, not letting the pain distract you from the task at hand. And the both of you moan in unison when it makes it in, your hips leisurely coming down on him until your ass rests on his thighs.
You grind on him with the roll of your hips, evoking choked intakes of air from him as a hand goes to your ass with vigor. His face to your chest while the other hand plays with one mound. His lips found a nipple to pop into his mouth to suck on.
With a slow pace, you rock your hips onto him. Your legs bent for your feet to be on his knees, the chair solid enough to withstand you bouncing on Gojo’s dick with repetition.
“Hoohhh, ohhhh, mmmm,” your hums are expressed in tunes. The curve of his cock is so fucking good, scraping your insides with precision. You couldn’t help but increase the speed just a little bit.
Gojo keeps sucking on your nipple; the grazes of his teeth and pushing the bud up to the roof of his mouth only fuels more quivers to travel down your bouncing figure. Both of his hands now under your skirt to feel the flesh of your ass under his hungry grasp. He kneads your asscheeks with every thrust to your chasm, and your shrieks get louder by the second.
“—Mmmph! Shit, shit, you feel so good, pretty,” he finally lets go of your hardened nipple, burying his face to your chest. “So fucking good for me…fuhuuuucck!
You could feel your cunt contract around him; every graze to your sensitive spots prompted your walls to grip around him. He hisses, looking up to see your expression as you ride him out. Fuck, you looked so good on top of him like this. He’ll add this position to the list of things to do again with you.
You peer down to see that Gojo is staring at you, and you quickly bring a hand to cover his eyes. “—Ahhahhn, d-don’t look at me like that! Yer soo embarrassing…!”
He only chuckles at your shy demeanor, especially during this. But he humors you, not fighting your makeshift blind for him to see you wholly. He’s seen it all already — felt it all, too. And he could never get enough.
“Ooooh, Satoruuu—Nnaaahh!” He loves how you say his name, your hand traveling to his hair to grab in tuffs. “Oh, fuck, ‘toruuu, I’m gonna cummm…!”
“—Hnngh! Yeah, baby?” Oh, he knows. The way you’re grinding to and fro on his pelvis tells him so. “Go ahead, princess. Clench on me and ride it out.”
And with that, your hips go to an erratic pace that has the both of you holding for dear life. The squeeze of your inner walls clenching on him almost makes him choke on his spit, the nails of his fingertips forming crescents on your skin. And you scream at it, slamming your ass onto him as you both climb up to orgasm.
Within seconds, it hits the both of you like a train. This had to be Gojo’s favorite part of the entire thing, experiencing having your folds clamp and flutter around him as you cry for him. It took everything in his power not to come with you because he wants to have you on him a little longer. You just felt too good to let go — too addicted to your body to be done with one round.
When the contractions subside while your slurred howls get quieter, Gojo gives you a few minutes to let your body be free from the aftershocks. He knows your body is extra sensitive now, rubbing circles on your back and placing chaste kisses on your clavicle. You hum under his lips, letting the wave of your crescendo exude out from you quietly.
However, since you wanted to be such a tease, why not be a tease back? At least, that’s what Gojo thought before he threw your cunt another snap of the hips, his cock jabbing into your delicate walls that haven’t recovered yet. A sharp cry comes from your puffy lips, the hand covering Gojo’s eyes finally freeing him to see you.
He grins with hooded azure eyes, “Sorry, cutie, but I didn’t get to finish. Wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t get to have fun of my own, right?”
You chew on your lip with trenched brows before bringing your face to his. “Don’t you get carried away like last time, Satoru.”
“No promises, princess~” he sings to your ear before humming into your lips.
As mentioned before, Gojo doesn’t hate you — he just hates that he can’t fully express liking you.
But having you on top of him like this, in his embrace, is a nice change of pace he’ll happily get used to.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
“Okay, everyone, class dismissed! Thank you for your time, and see you all on Friday.”
Professor Naga closes up the last class for today, and the students all get up from the seats of their elevated rows to pack up and leave. The clock is ten minutes before seven o’clock, the winter darkness already claiming the sky with a sheet of night. Students are either famished and heading to the dining hall for food, going straight to their dorms or homes, or staying behind for last-minute conversations.
Gojo was one of the latter, deciding to stay behind to chat with the group for a bit. After packing his backpack and putting on his coat, he slings from the table to jump to the row below him, where you were talking with Haibara and Ijichi.
You watch his stunt, ready to lecture, “Jesus, Gojo, what’s all that for? You could’ve just walked around.”
“Ehhhh, why would I do that? That’s so lame.” He comes and bends close to you enough to slang his arm around your shoulders.
But you click your teeth and try to maneuver away from his tall figure. “You’re lame,” you mutter under your breath.
However, Gojo’s ears perked with furrowed brows. “What did you say?”
“You heard me, you lame white furby!” You repeat yourself with a huff and the snow-haired student gawks at your brazenness.
The two of you argue again; students passing by silently exit the class, others stand and watch, and Professor Yaga can only sigh at yet another altercation between you two.
However, it quickly dissipates when Haibara laughs from his seat. “You two, there’s never a dull moment.”
You and Gojo blink at the dark brunette before removing Gojo’s hand from your shoulders. “Hmph, it’s not like it’s my fault; he’s the one who starts it.”
“Oh, what could I possibly do to make Y/n so upset with me this time?” He pushes up his sunglasses, snickering at the scowl you send him.
Ichiji, being the passive second-year he is, meekly changes the topic from the row below you three. “On some brighter news, at least we did well on the presentation.”
“That’s right!” Haibara happily agrees with the statement, leaning against the chair with his hands behind his head. “Professor Yaga seemed really pleased with our arguments; I don’t think he intervened even once. Plus, he said many good things about how we handled the topic. Nice one, team!”
The raven-haired one hums at the other’s exclamation. “I think most of it goes to how Y/n and Gojo bounced off each other’s arguments. How you two pulled up examples from the articles yet remained dignified with your viewpoints was cool to witness. I even saw some students be engaged with the conversation, many amazed with how Y/n refuted Gojo’s arguments elegantly and respectfully.”
But most of all, what the two sophomores wanted to mention was that there was no yelling. To them, the professor, and all the students of this class, you and Gojo presented your presentation without a single tone of malice, no pointless teasing, no name-calling, nothing! It was a civil conversation between two opposing sides. To everyone’s surprise — and thankful stars — today was a success.
You chuckle nervously at the praise. “Oh, come on, you two, don’t let me and Gojo take all the credit. You guys did your part. Especially you, Ichiji; you were an exceptional help for my side and finding sources I could build off from.”
Gojo, on the other hand, rolls his eyes. “Psssh, don’t butter them up like that; without us, they would’ve failed this presentation big time. No offense.” He was forced to say that when you called him by his last name and hit him with your elbow.
None taken, the two younger friends say to themselves unbeknownst to each other.
The tall one continues, “Besides, you were the one who did most of the work. I slacked off until the last minute when you whipped me into shape.” Gojo brings his hand on top of your head for a pat. The action surprised you enough to flinch a bit. “Nice work like always, Y/n.”
Were the stars aligned differently, or did Gojo just compliment you? It certainly took you aback, especially the two others who silently kept their observation to themselves.
You could only look at his complacent look for a few seconds before you realized the warmth of your cheeks became stronger. Averting your eyes, you remove his hand from your head. “Thanks, Gojo…” you express gratitude. “You weren’t so bad yourself.”
A cheeky smile, his dimples prominent to blind you. “Awww, would you two look at that? They’re complimenting me, too~” Another bump to the chest has him cackling like a child, and you shake your head with rolled eyes.
The two younger students observe the scene before Haibara forcibly stretches and yawns to catch the two’s attention. “Man, I’m so hungry; I skipped lunch to prepare for this presentation. Me and Ijichi are gonna meet up with Nanami at the dining hall. You guys wanna come?”
You instantly beam at the proposal; who are you to refuse a dinner with your friends? “Sure! I’d love to…Oh! Wait, let me use the restroom and fill my water bottle.”
You rummage through your backpack for your water bottle before exiting the classroom. The boys watch you descend from row after row, and Gojo says, “Don’t take too long; I’ll convince them to leave without you.”
“Hmph, go ahead and try! They invited me; I don’t know who told you to invite yourself.” You stick your tongue out at him before opening and closing the door behind you.
Gojo watches you with a smile still plastered on his face for a few seconds before Ijichi makes a tiny cough to catch his attention, the sunglasses-wearing junior turning to look back down to the other two. He notes the albeit cheesy-smiling faces they harbor, and he lifts a brow. “The hell are you two smiling for?”
The raven-haired sophomore squeaks at the sudden firm tone, “N–Nothing!”
“Pfft, oh come on, Kiyo; let’s not act like we didn’t see what we just saw.”
Gojo catches the nuance of Haibara’s comment. “Saw what?”
“You’re over here talking about our faces, but you’re the one who’s smiling at Y/n as they leave the door?” The brunette sophomore sends a wink to his junior, whose face doesn’t change at the comment.
“And your point is?”
“Well, it seems — to me, at least —  there might be something going on with you and Y/n?”
Gojo was prepared for that, opening his mouth to interject quickly. However, the dark-haired other beat him to the punch. “Now that you mention it, Gojo and Y/n have been kind of…stable? There's still the usual arguments, but those haven't happened as much since last week…”
“Right!?” Haibara points at Ijichi with exclamation, making the other second-year flinch. “For some reason, things seem to be a little quieter with the two of them now, not to mention them hanging out way more often. Everyone’s been talking about it; even Geto and Shoko asked if Gojo had done anything that made Y/n passive?”
“I asked Nanami about it on Monday; he thinks maybe Y/n finally knocked some sense into Gojo’s childish brain to have him be so civil to engage without yelling their head off.”
“Pffthaha, I wouldn’t go that far. Y/n did just kick him in the shin yesterday for scaring them from behind.”
“Ahh, yes, well, that was deserved.”
“You two realize I’m still standing right the fuck here, right?” No, they hadn’t because the two discerned the twitch of Gojo’s brow after conversing about the tall, white-haired boy.
“But it’s true!”
Another voice enters the set, making Gojo raise his head, and the other two turn to their left. It was some girl and her friend. Gojo knew of her; she sat next to him during class. Again, he knew of her, meaning she had no significance to his knowledge.
And yet, she speaks to the three boys. “You and Y/n have gotten a lot more close these past weeks compared to previous semesters—“
“Real close, too!” Their friend adds on from behind. “It’s as if you two are like a couple.”
“So…Are you two….a thing?”
Gojo could tell from a mile away what this was. Obviously, the first girl has a thing for him — he can see the anxiousness from the twiddle of her thumbs and avoidant eye contact. Although he wasn’t interested, he couldn’t even answer the question the way he wanted. What the hell could he say: that you two are in a secret relationship? He knows you’d have his grave ready before he could finish that confession.
And he can’t say the two of you are in any relationship either; it’s not what you would’ve told them. To everyone else, you and Gojo are friends who would preferably be caught dead rather than lying in bed together. So, might as well keep that facade up.
“Not that it’s any of your business,” he starts with the push of his sunglasses. “Y/n is a pretty good friend, and I’d like to keep it at that.”
Haibara and Ijichi turn from Gojo to look at each other and shrug. Before turning back, something caught their eye that caused the two sophomores’ skin to turn white.
Ijichi tries to prevent Gojo from speaking further. “G-Gojo—“
However, the tall one doesn’t listen. “I mean, sure, they got a nice personality and are independent…Kinda pretty, too, not gonna lie. But they’re not really my type. I mean, have you seen them? Just a little person who likes to find trivial stuff to yell at me over. Angry at the world around them, I’d say.“
“Go. Jo.” Haibara says the junior’s name through gritted teeth, bringing his hand up by his neck and drawing an imaginary horizontal line back and forth — a gesture for Gojo to not say anymore. But unfortunately, the sign wasn’t seen, and the words kept pouring out.
“And to be honest, can you imagine? Me and Y/n, a couple? Jesus Christ, that would be fucking exhausting to deal with, especially with someone so boring and too uncute like them. I’ve seen prettier, been with better. I feel sorry for the poor bastard who does end up with them—“
“SATORU GOJO!”
Now — that sudden burst of yell from a loud, masculine voice — that was what got Gojo’s attention. It’s what got the attention of everyone else in the room. The snow-haired student jerks to look at the professor standing at the front, the older man with a deep frown. “What?
The professor doesn’t answer him. Instead, he points to the left of him with his chin with a huff. With common sense, Gojo turns behind him to see where the older man points. And at that moment, he felt his very being drop to the soles of his feet. Haibara and Ijichi took a slow breath in unison at the immediate tension.
Behind him stood you, a lone figure holding their water bottle within three arm’s length away from the group. But that was sufficient enough for you to have heard everything said.
Breathing suddenly felt impossible for Gojo; his entire body was stiff under your gaze. His shades could hide his eyes, but he wasn’t sure it could shield the instant shame that slapped him across the face from you.
And that was another thing: the look you harbored was indecipherable — the true definition of disengagement. There were no widened eyes, quivering lips, or shaky hands. You stood plainly and looked as though you were detached from the entire situation. And that was what scared him the most.
This was strike one.
He dared not move when you began walking up, and your eyes then shifted to ignore his presence. “Hey, Yu,” the brunette straightened his posture at the use of the first name. “I think I’ll have to decline on that dinner offer. I’m a little tired and have a paper I need to work on…Maybe next time?”
“Uhh, yeah, sure, no problem.” He answers with a sweat.
Wait a second. Gojo tries to call for you, “Y/n—“
“Ijichi,” but you immediately shut him down and directed your attention to the other sophomore friend as you put on your coat and stuffed your water bottle back into your bag. “Be sure to submit the presentation template and sources to the course site before the end of the day, please.”
“U–Uhh, already done, Y/n.” He squeaks while reassuring.
Wait, please. The tall one tries again, “Wait, Y/n—“
“Good.” You sling your backpack on, refusing to look at the person trying to talk to you. “Well, I’ll be seeing you, then.” And with that, you turn on your heel and head down the row to leave.
No, wait, stop— “Y/n, wait!” This was strike two.
Gojo doesn’t hesitate to call out to you. At that moment, he follows you to the class steps where you were a row down left from the door. He grabs your hand without thinking, the size of your palm captured by his slender fingers. He knew it was a risky move, but he had to — he had to get you to talk with him right now, if not ever. Because the latter is something he isn’t ready for, something he didn’t think would be a possibility.
And yet, he will learn this lesson of being prepared for the impossible when you rapidly turn to him. Strike three.
SLAP!
Have you ever seen someone get smacked in the face so hard that their sunglasses come off? The remaining two girls who witnessed it know for sure now. Haibara and Ijichi won’t admit to it as they immediately turn to the other side of the room when they saw your hand move. But please believe they winced at the sound of the impact. The same goes for Professor Yaga, who was too stunned to speak, yet it was a valid outcome.
Gojo didn’t move a single limb, allowing the stinging feeling on his cheek to course through his facial muscles. His eyes were glued to the carpeted ground; he knew that’s where they were supposed to be. And you snatched your hand away from his grasp, leaving his fingers to suffer in forced loneliness.
“You…you think it’s all fun and games to say stuff like that when I turn my back for a few minutes, huh?” He can see your hand palpitate from his peripheral; the anger depicted alone was enough to interpret. And the tremble in your voice? It felt like an arrow to his being. “…Look at me.”
He’d be a fool to have you repeat yourself; he has lost that right to toy with you now. With a slow inhale, Gojo rotates his head at you, azure eyes tracking up your figure to your face. And when it lands at that destination, his heart is shot down.
Tears stream down vexed, watery eyes. Your brows furrowed, and your bottom lip chewed in a terrible attempt to stop it from quivering. The rise and fall of your shoulders as you moderate your breathing, trying so hard not to let your temper dwell into a deeper phase of ugly. It was bad enough you’re crying in public, in front of your peers, your teacher — and it was because of him.
“From this day forward,” you fight your sniffles to say your statement as clearly as possible. “Don’t you ever talk to me, Satoru Gojo. Enjoy your life without something as boring as me.”
And with that, you dismiss yourself from him and the class altogether, the room silent even after the slam of the door closed. No one says anything, too shocked from the event to utter a letter.
The silence aids the ringing in Gojo’s ears, his breathing still having trouble maintaining a balanced front. The cheek you slapped burned with pain; he’s sure the skin is as red as a cherry.
Oh, fuck.
He brings a hand to his face, his body fighting the trembling. The ringing in his ears worsens, along with the pounding in his head that beats like a drum. His eyes stuck to the ground below him, choosing to focus on something inanimate and not living.
Fuck, fuck, fuck—
All he could think of in this time and place was you. Memories flashing right before him, of you and only you. He can hear the way you say his name, both in vexation and in sweet tunes. Your smiles, your frowns, your huffs, your whispers. When your eyebrows scrunch whenever you express worry for him, how you’re never afraid to stand up against him when making a point, the smile that’s been blinding him for many days and nights — the smile he wouldn’t mind seeing for eternity.
All those memories were one stab to his heart after another. And every time a recollection ended, a flash of your crying face would return to haunt him. Tears that weren’t meant to be there but were, and warm feelings you expressed with him were gone the moment he saw your eyes void of feelings for him. At least, that’s what he saw.
He hurt you. That was the only revelation that haunted him where he stood, making his voice falter from confidence. It was a revelation he never meant to bring about. And now that it exists and he sees the damage, nothing would be better for him now than the ground beneath him swallowing him whole.
“What…the fuck…”

+:。.。 teen Stanford Pines x gn reader 。.。:+
The second part!! I was not expecting so much love on my first post on this account! I am so happy y'all enjoyed the first part! Enjoy this <3 warnings : strong language, suggestive language, the usual teen shit pt.1 pt.2
1972 After the night at the pawn shop, Ford hasn't been able to stop thinking about you. It is starting to become painfully obvious. Especially to Ford's twin that has to hear all the midnight ramblings. Will he have to help his brother out, or will fate help Ford himself?

Ford's POV
I wake up to Stan's snoring. Pushing my glasses onto my face, my feet touch the ground beneath me. I rub my eyes and start to regret not getting much sleep. Looking up at the clock on the bed side table, my heart drops. I'm gonna be late.
"Wake up Stanley. We are going to be late if we don't leave in like 30 minutes! I can't miss the first block", I say as I shake the sleeping man above me. His arm lays down off his bunk.
"Fuck off Sixer we can be a little bit late"
"Stanley it's not going to happen." I say as I stumble out of bed and pull my neatly folded clothes out of the dresser and begin pulling them on.
"Sorry you only get a chance to see your little lover in class man, but ain't no way I am getting up after you kept me awake all night". Stanley grumbles and rolls back over in his bed.
"Please Stanley.." I reluctantly beg my sleeping brother
With a loud groan Stanley jumps off the bed and starts putting on his clothes from the floor.
"Thank you". I sigh out and rush to the kitchen to make some sort of breakfast before we leave.
"Morning dears! You two slept in didn't you?" Ma cheerfully asks as her arms cradle the youngest of the Pines, Shermie.
"Yeah Ma," Stan runs out of our room yelling and leans down to plant kisses on our brother's small head, " Fordsy wouldn't let me get anymore. Couldn't miss out on seeing his little lover." His elbow pokes my side before grabbing his favorite snack.
"Stanford! You didn't tell me you have a little (girl/boyfriend/partner)! I am your mother!" Ma laughs out.
Looking down at my feet I stutter out, "Not exactly.."
"He's too.. s-scared to ask t-them out." Stan poorly attempts to mock me. A loud booming laugh comes out of his mouth.
"Quit it Stanley. I am sure your brother will get the courage soon. When can I meet them?" An overly excited Ma elbows me.
"We have to go Stan. Please. Ma, I haven't even really talked to them. I can't ask them out, let alone invite them over for dinner. Now we must leave." I say before kissing her on the cheek and grabbing Stan to pull out of the door.
Wishing for a quiet ride to school was nothing but fantasy with Stan. I couldn't do more than just stare out the window and wish the long rant of his would end quickly.
"I don't see why you don't just go up and ask them out Ford. They seem like a nice enough person to not throw a drink in your face for asking them out. I take a couple of classes with them. Pretty smart cookie too." My twin's words fall out of his mouth as if he is some expert in relationships.
"I can handle my own relationship ventures Stanley. Thank you but I really don't think they like me back. Hell why would they? I can't even look at them without becoming a mess and stumbling on my words. For all I know, they have a guy already." My hands find my face.
"Ford, they don't have a guy. Please. They ask me about you all the time in class. I may not have a good thing with relationships, but look Sixer, they would be stupid to not like you back," His hand touches my shoulder and squeezes, "but if they don't then more chicks for us when we set sail on the Stan O' War eh??". My stomach tightens at the thought of (Y/N) asking him about me. What did they want to know? Oh God what did Stan tell them?
As the car comes to a stop, I jump out and thank Stanley for the talk. Rushing to class, I find (Y/N) sitting in their usual seat doodling in their note book. I smile and wipe my hands on my pants. Walking over to our partnered seats, I feel my heart race quicken when they look up and smile that smile at me. My face warms quickly. My hand waves at them.
"Thought for a second you weren't gonna show Ford. Started to get worried Stan's driving finally killed you." God there is that smile of theirs.
"Haha.. no no. He just wouldn't get up." I stutter out as my stomach tightens realizing that they just said they worried about me.
"Well I will remember to yell at him later for almost making you late". They laugh and we sit in a comfortable silence.
"So what do you have planned for this weekend?" I swear I see a light blush appear on their face.
"Me?! Oh um.. working probably. Stan hates working the shop on the weekends". I say while looking down at my hands.
"Oh well that sucks. I was gonna see if you wanted to maybe.." They are quickly interrupted by the teacher coming into class with a mumble of sorrys and excuses for being late.
Quickly they turn their focus back to the notebook. It's a little black notebook that has stars they are drawing on the cover. A blush coats their face.
Soon class ends and I watch as they hurry out. This time they turn around and smile at me. My heart skips. I find myself thinking of that one interaction the rest of the day. I walk out of the school and towards the bright red car parked out front. A smile plastered to my face. It fades seeing Stan outside the car holding a way too familiar notebook.
"Don't tell me you took their notebook Stanley! I get wanting to help me but that is insane!" I whisper scream out towards my brother.
"Don't get your panties in a twist Sixer. They left it in class today, but...here check the cover". He tosses the object towards me that I luckily catch. I open the cover and see their name and the words 'If lost call me!' with their number attached. A blush finds my face. Is this the chance I have been waiting for?
"Lets go man. You got a call to make". Stanley laughs and gets into the car.
The car ride home was filled with silence as I went over every possible outcome to this. They could think I was weird for using their number without permission, or ask why Stanley didn't call, or..
My thoughts are quickly stopped as Stan slams on the breaks and parks. I quietly get out of the car and go upstairs. I thank the stars that Stan is working the shop tonight.
I sit in the kitchen watching the phone as if it will grow legs and walk out. My palms sweat against the hard cardboard cover. Stanley walks in to the room whistling. He stares at me and sighs.
"Sixer...seriously? You still haven't called?" He leans across the counter and eyes the notebook.
"This is a really bad idea Stan. I can't do it. I will just hand it to them personally first thing Monday Morning" I sigh and start to stand up to leave. I freeze in my tracks hearing the rotary dial turn.
I whip around and see Stan putting in the numbers I have eyed now for hours.
"Stan wait! Don't you dare!" I run over and go to press the receiver before the call goes through. Too late. Stan laughs and hands me the phone. Walking away with a shit eating grin. I hear the voice I have imagined in my dreams countless times, the voice that causes my body to instantly react, oh God what am I going to say? Do I hang up? I feel like throwing up. My heartbeat I can hear in my ears.
"Hello?"
Too late

hot knife — ellie williams x reader
if Ellie is butter, then you're a hot knife.
warnings: fluff, lots of cursing (it's ellie), lesbians being really really gayyyy, ellie and reader are 18
based on a request. y'all needed it, i needed it, we all need this.
Tumblr media
You were angry. Well, not angry like when someone tells you something you don’t really want to hear, or when someone messes with someone you deeply care about, or even when someone is trying to tell you what to do. No, this was a different type of angry. Something you have never felt before.
It was like when you have a dog and this dog that you love so much only cares about someone else. Shit, you’re the one feeding it, you’re the one who covers that ungrateful dog with a blanket when it’s snowing outside, you’re the one who loves and would do anything to protect that dog when someone tries to hurt it, or kidnap it, or some shit like that.
Of course, Ellie was not a dog. It’s not like you were comparing her to one, no. That would be just superficial and kind of mean, honestly. You cared about Ellie more than you would care about a dog. Also, Ellie was so much better than that. She was perfect. Every detail of her was just beautiful to you. You weren’t angry at her. You were angry at yourself for feeling like you were invisible every time she looked at her.
Dina.
Why did Ellie had to payattention to every word she said? Why did she seem so happy when Dina talked to her? Most importantly, why did you care so much? It’s not like Ellie was your girlfriend. She was your best friend. Wasn’t it enough?
Apparently, no, considering how shitty you felt when you saw Dina and Ellie laughing in the park while playing with snowballs. That morning, you were supposed to meet with her. You two made plans to have lunch together. Well, you didn’t plan that, but it became kind of a routine, so you though she would be waiting for you in front of your house like she always did.
Ellie didn’t like to take care of herself. She was used to skip some meals and you were quick to notice it. Of course you would notice it, you were always looking at her. Since the day she arrived at Jackson for the first time.
She was only fourteen then, but fourteen years were enough to make her tougher than the other kids. Tougher than you. You were more innocent than her then and that made it difficult for you two to connect. Yet somehow, you were able to sneak into her life. ‘If you are butter, I can be the hot knife’, you told her one time. That was the first time she laughed in front of you. Since that moment, you made it your goal to put a smile on her face at least once every single day. She deserved it.
It hurt like hell when you realized you were not the only one doing it anymore. Dina was pretty, smart, confident. They made a good match if you look at it from any other point of view that it’s not yours.
“You’re staring”, a voice next to you brough you back to earth. You didn’t have to look to know that it was Jesse.
“You too.”
“Do you think they’re like...”, he made a pause, obviously uncomfortable with the use of the word. “Lesbians... or something?”
You raised your eyebrows and looked at him. “Is there a problem if they were?”
“Well, I... No, it’s just that I...”, he stuttered.
“You are unbelievable”, you sighed.
“Hey!”, Ellie yelled when she saw you. “You!”
She ran to you with a big smile in her face. For a second, you even forgot about that awful feeling.
“I knocked at your door, but I guess you weren’t there anymore”, she stopped in front of you. Her cheeks were pink because of the cold. “Me and Dina went to sleep late yesterday, so I woke up late, and... you know.”
Yes, of course, last night. When Dina and Ellie talked for hours and hours at the stable and you just decided to leave because it was just too much for you to handle.
It was kind of funny how Jesse gulped when he heard Ellie saying that she and Dina were alone for hours. It obvious how much he liked Dina, but she didn’t seem to realize.
“What were you two doing last night?”, Jesse asked.
“They were doing drugs and making out, Jesse, that’s what they were doing.”, you said sarcastically.
“Really?”
“Oh my God...”, you rolled your eyes.
“We were talking”, Dina explained to him while she was getting closer.
He laughed nervously and nodded.
“I’m sorry I made you wait”, Ellie said to you.
“It’s fine.”
You just shrugged and turned away, now heading to the bar where you usually had your lunch. Ellie looked at Dina without really knowing what to do. You didn’t sound fine. Dina gestured for her to follow you and that was what she did.
You entered the bar with her. It was weird how distant you were, but she tried her best to stay positive. You saw Seth from far away and gave him a signal. He already knew you and Ellie pretty well. He didn’t exactly like you, but he liked Maria, Maria liked you and you liked Ellie. That meant free lunch every day.
When you sat at one of the tables to wait for the food, she sat in front of you.
“Listen, I found this movie in one of the patrols and I...”
“That’s nice”, you interrupted her, staring at your hands.
“Okay...”, she nodded. You were not interested in the movie. Alright. “So, I was thinking we could...”
“Did you and Dina have fun last night?”
She opened her mouth to answer, but Seth called your name before she could say anything. You stood up and walked to the man behind the counter.
“Thank you, Seth”, you said before taking the two sandwiches.
The man responded with a mumble. You didn’t look at Ellie when you gave her one of the sandwiches, but she still followed you when you walked out of the bar.
“Can you slow down a bit?”, Ellie asked.
It didn’t really make a difference. It took her a few seconds to realize where you were going. Your home. Something was off. You two usually had lunch in the park. When it was too cold, you went to her place because it was closer.
When you finally arrived at your house, you didn’t ask her to come in. No, you entered the door and closed it behind you. Okay, that was just too much.
“Hey, what the fuck is wrong with you?”
“Oh, so now you care!”, you yelled too from inside the house.
“What?”, she tried to open the door, but it was locked. “Did you just lock me outside your house?”
There was silence for a few seconds. “No...”
“The door seems pretty fucking locked to me!”
You were being childish, and you knew it. With a sigh, you left the sandwich on the corner table and opened the door. Ellie stared at you, but she didn’t seem angry. No, she seemed... hurt?
“Are you mad at me because I woke up late?”
“Oh, fuck you! It’s not about that!”
“Alright, then what is it?”, she crossed her arms, waiting for an explanation.
You had no other option but to just deny it.
“It’s nothing.”
“Really? You think I'm gonna buy that?”
“I don’t need you to, it’s the truth”, you shrugged.
“So, you just ignored me and locked me out of your house for nothing?”
“Maybe I didn’t see you.”
“You did see me.”
“Maybe it was the wind.”
“The wind can lock doors now?”
You really had no arguments, huh?
“Maybe.”
“Stop...”, she whispered. “Come on, let me in? It’s cold.”
You sighed and gave her space to enter you house. When you closed the door, the silence filled the room. Ellie took the backpack off her back and looked for something in one of the pockets. You watched in silence as she took a VHS film and showed it to you.
“This is what I was telling you about...”
“Who the fuck is Donnie Darko?”, you read the name.
“I was hoping to find out.”
Why did she had to look at you like that?
“Well, I think Dina will love it.”
“Dina? Why would I...”, she seemed confused for a moment, but then it hit her. “Wait, are you jealous of me and Dina?”
Jealous. Was that the word?
“Fuck, no!”
“Oh, my fucking God, you’re jealous!”
“No, I'm not!”, you could feel your cheeks burning right now. “Why would I be jealous of you two?”
“I don’t know, maybe you have a thing for her...”
“I do not have a thing for her.”
“You have a thing for someone then?”
Her confusion was making you dizzy. You sighed and sat on the couch of the living room.
“Okay...”, she was still trying to absorb that information. She felt weird trying to picture you with someone else. “Who is it then?”
“Shut up, I don’t wanna talk about it.”
“I think we are already talking about it, so...”, she looked at you. “It’s okay. You can tell me, you know?”
“No, I can’t.”
“Why?”
“Because I can’t lie to you, Ellie.”
“But you don’t have to lie... right?”, she said, and you finally looked at her with tears in your eyes. “Oh...”
You didn’t have to say anything, it was too obvious. You were in love with her. The tears started to roll down your cheeks, and you didn’t try to stop them. It was done, you couldn’t go back in time.
“I’m sorry.”
Ellie was staring at the floor. Her silence was terrifying to you. What if she never talks to you again? All your worries were soon replaced by confusion when she let out a laugh.
“You know what’s funny?”, she smiled and looked at you. “I spent a week with this movie in my backpack, scared that if I invited you to watch it with me you would realize I was asking you on a date.”
She left the VHS tape in the center table.
“And I really spent hours yesterday talking to Dina, describing to her everything I feel when you’re around, asking her if it would be too bad if I really did ask you on a date.”
The way you looked at her made her heart melt. It was almost as if you were begging for that to be true.
“So, is that what this is?”, you pointed to the VHS tape.
“I mean, if you’d like that, then I guess it is”, she looked down, trying to hide the tears in her eyes.
You nodded and stood up.
“I do like that.”
She stepped your way, your faces closer than ever. “Okay, then it’s a date.”
You gave her a shy smile and paid attention to every single detail of her. Eyes, nose, lips.
“It’s a date”, you whispered before leaving a soft kiss on her lips.

D.D. | Shane's Girl [7]
Part Seven | Masterlist | Buy me a coffee | Check out the playlist

But Daryl doesn’t like the way Shane treats you. And he certainly doesn’t like how you’re forced to play ‘loving girlfriend’ to a man with eyes for another woman at the camp.

Warnings: Merle Dixon sucks, unedited (I will get to it later, I promise)
Word Count: 1.1K
Author’s Note: SO, your boy's a blue-collar worker currently struggling through increased heat and hours during the summer, but I love this fic and no matter how much time passes I will continue to come back to this guy. Let me know what y'all think of this one & let me know if you want to be added or removed from the taglist. And thank you for your continued support for this lil fic -- it means the world to me.
Tumblr media
“Tonight’s the night, little brother.”
Merle’s voice tears through the silence in their makeshift camp. Daryl peers up at Merle from his crouched position -- the younger Dixon had been going through their food supply before Merle came storming in. Daryl rolls his eyes at the interruption. Although he’s known his brother his entire life, it always surprises him how different the two are. All he’s heard his entire life is: those Dixon brothers, two sides of the same coin. However, where Daryl is reserved, Merle is intrusive, and where Daryl is observant, Merle is careless. Although the two brothers are cut from the same backwoods cloth, they seem to have less in common than one would think.
Daryl ignores his brother’s outburst, returning his attention to their limited rations. He lets out a frustrated sigh before strategizing.
“We’re running low on food. I’ll go out hunting tomorrow. Rest of the group is headed out to scavenge the city; might wanna join ‘em.”
Merle brushes past Daryl, snatches the last bag of jerky from their pile of food, and begins chowing down in front of his younger brother. Daryl furrows his brow at his brother’s actions. Before he can lash out at him for being so irresponsible with their rations, Merle speaks up.
“Won’t have to worry ‘bout any of that after tonight.”
Daryl’s head cocks to the side as he tears his attention away from their inventory and now focuses intently on his brother.
“The hell are you on about?”
Merle rolls his eyes at Daryl’s question as if the younger Dixon should be able to read his mind.
“We’ve been ‘er long enough. I say we wait til everyone’s asleep tonight and take everything we can.”
Daryl shrinks at the thought of just robbing the camp blind. Merle had mentioned the idea during their first night at the quarry; however, Daryl figured, as days passed, that the older Dixon brother had decided against the idea. Apparently, Daryl was wrong.
“I don’t know, man.”
Daryl’s apprehension seems to only rile his brother up more.
“C’mon little brother, everything they have is just sitting in that camper -- it’s like they’re begging us to take it!”
Daryl shakes his head at his brother’s words. They can’t -- he can’t. He doesn’t want that weighing on his guilty conscience for the rest of his numbered days. The world may have ended, but Daryl hasn’t lost his humanity yet. He can’t steal from children, or families, or you. He pushes himself off the floor before responding.
“Nah, man. Not now.”
Daryl attempts to brush past Merle, leaving the conversation there; however, Merle roughly pushes against Daryl’s chest. Daryl staggers for a second before regaining his balance. He looks incredulously at his brother, who seems to be champing at the bit. Merle’s always been impatient, and he’s never liked to stay in one place for too long, even before the end of the world. On the other hand, Daryl knows there’s safety in numbers nowadays -- who knows how long the two of them would be able to make it on their own? And what of the quarry camp -- would they just leave them to turn on themselves?
“This was always the plan, Daryl. What’s changed, huh?”
“Your plan sucks, man. We don’t even know what’s out there -- how many of ‘em are out there! At least here we’re safe.”
His reasoning does nothing to calm down Merle. Daryl is suddenly very glad that the two brothers were so far away from the rest of the camp -- the last thing he wants is for Merle to make scene, again.
“What you making friends while I’m gone? You going soft on me?”
“Fuck off, Merle.”
Merle doesn’t take the bait, instead, he studies his younger brother’s face for a second. Suddenly, it’s as if a switch has been flipped as Merle’s face breaks out into a shit eating grin.
“You are going soft on me.”
It comes out as a statement, not a question. This only causes Daryl’s brow to furrow deeper.
“What are you talking about?”
“This is all about that bitch, right?”
Daryl’s blood boils at Merle’s question. His jaw locks, and his fists clench as he attempts to stop himself from throwing himself at his older brother. Merle seems to be enjoying how his words make Daryl’s skin crawl.
“Little brother, I never thought you’d be one to go after a taken woman.”
Daryl knows that Merle is just trying to get a rise out of him; he just wants a reaction. And as much as his words are pissing him off, Daryl knows that he simply has to act indifferent to his accusation.
“You could take her with us. Could use something fun on the road.”
Daryl grinds his teeth together at the thought, but he will not give Merle the satisfaction of causing an outburst from his younger brother.
“Shut up, Merle.”
“Can’t believe some bitch has already got you whipped.”
Finally, something in Daryl snaps as Merle sneers at him. He gets up in Merle’s face, attempting to intimidate his older brother, but he doesn’t back down.
“This ain’t got nothin’ to do with her. She don’t mean nothing to me!”
Daryl expects him to escalate the fight; however, Merle’s face shifts into that shit-eating grin once again as his eyes land on something behind Daryl’s shoulder. Daryl turns to face whatever has piqued Merle’s interest, his curiosity getting the better of him, and his stomach drops as his eyes land on you. Daryl’s face immediately softens as he notices the hurt etched into your features. Without a word, you turn and head back toward camp.
“Wait… damn it.”
As much as Daryl wants to race after you and explain, he lets you go, knowing he’d just hurt you more -- he’s still seething from his confrontation with Merle, and you’re probably still processing what you just overheard.
“Uh-oh. Trouble in paradise?”
Daryl ignores his brother’s question and moves to retire to their tent for the night, but Merle sidesteps, stopping him in his tracks. Before Daryl can question his motives, Merle speaks.
“I did you a favor, little brother.”
Daryl looks at his brother in disbelief.
“All I did was show her who you truly are.”
“You’re a fucking asshole.”
Daryl pushes past him and enters their tent. He wants to blame Merle for what just happened, but he’s the one who lost his temper. And he only lost his temper because Merle was right. He can’t rob the camp and then sneak away in the middle of the night because that means he’d have to leave you behind -- and he just can't do it. Not after you opened up to him about Shane.  He lets out a frustrated sigh as he lays down his worn sleeping bag. What do you think of him now? Is he just another asshole to you, like Shane or Merle? He wants to think he’s better than that.
But maybe Daryl is wrong.
Maybe the Dixon brothers really are two sides of the same bad-tempered, jagged coin -- but that won’t stop him from trying to prove the opposite, as long as you let him.

Your dad never really needs an excuse to hold a cookout, especially during these long summer months. So, when you finally get the call that you did in fact land the job you wanted, he’s straight out stocking up on enough beer to get the entire street drunk and enough food to feed the US army.
He’s currently grilling the second lot of steaks, even though everyone sat around the table is stuffed from the burgers, skewered meats and hot dogs and no-one can really move. It’s a quieter affair than your welcome home party – sat around the table are your parents, Tommy and Joel and two of your mom’s friends from work. That doesn’t stop you from planting yourself directly across the table from Joel, making eyes at him over your bottle of beer, and running your bare foot up the part of his leg that you can reach under the table.
He's been a picture of calm the entire time, his eyes didn’t throw a shade of warning across to you, just a look that said, ‘go on, I dare you.” Which you had been putting to the test the entire evening.
“Can’t believe you’re actually going to be an archivist, smartass,” Tommy beams across the table when you’ve all had your fill of food, “We all knew you’d land it though.”
You smile and clink your beer with his, “Can’t deny it’s a huge relief, thought I was going to be unemployed for way longer than this.”
“Drinks on you next time, then?” He teases, “Joel and I know a great bar in town, maybe we can go sometime?”
“Are the drinks cheap?” You smirk, “I’m not going to be making millions and the way you two drink I’ll be bankrupt in no time.”
As you’re talking you can feel Joel’s foot tapping against yours under the table. It’s innocent enough but it’s just distracting enough that you struggle to engage in the rest of the conversation. You’re grateful when your mother takes the lull of silence in conversation as a sign to start clearing up. You almost jump at the opportunity to help her, which has her raising her eyebrow, but she doesn’t question you.
Once she’s brought all the dirty plates and cutlery along with the dishes of leftovers, she grabs a chilled bottle of wine from the fridge and heads back out to her friends, leaving you alone, yet again, to clean up a party held for you. You make quick work of packaging up the leftover sides and meat, putting them in the fridge before you start rinsing plates and putting them in the dishwasher.
“This feels awful familiar,” Joel’s voice speaks behind you, you turn and watch him peer into the dishwasher, “Good girl, nice to see I’ve taught you somethin’ useful.”
“What the hell are you doing, Joel?” You hiss.
He looks at you with a confused look, “I was complimentin’ your stackin’ skills, am I not allowed to do that?”
“Good girl,” You attempt to mock his accent, “Really, Joel?”
He has a glint in his eye and smirk across his mouth, “Don’t usually complain when I’m calling you that.”
“Usually because we’re alone, Joel.” You murmur as he takes a step towards you, resting his hand on the small of your back before he leans down as close as he can get to speak into your ear.
“You started it,” He speaks lowly, “All that with your foot runnin’ up my leg, got me all worked up sweetheart, and now I want you.”
You jerk your head to look out of the window, no-one is particularly looking into the window, but it would be so easy for anyone to turn their head and immediately see Joel pressed up against you, whispering into your ear.
You nudge your elbow into his stomach behind you, “Not here,” You hiss, “Anyone could see us.”
“Awful shy, all of a sudden, sweetheart,” He teases into your ear, but is thankfully moving back from you, “Suit yourself.”
You finish stacking the dishwasher as he pulls out two cold beers from the fridge, using your dad’s ‘Florida’ bottle opener from a vacation you took years ago to open them both, setting one down on the side for you. He leans against the fridge once it’s closed, sipping at his beer as he watches you. You wipe your hands dry on a towel and grab the beer, taking two long drinks from the bottle.
“C’mon, people’ll be wondering where we’ve gotten to.”
“Certainly can’t have that.” You mumble, quietly enough that he doesn’t hear you.
Back outside, Tommy is stood with your dad at the bottom of the garden, looking into the shed. Tommy is pointing at something and laughing and a split second later you can hear your dad’s low chuckle as well. Your mom and her friends have moved from the table to sit on the loungers that are around the pool, sipping wine and squealing at whatever neighbourhood gossip they’re talking about.
Joel’s hand is on the small of your back again, guiding you back to the table you were sitting at to eat dinner, you sit back in your old chair, Joel this time opts to sit next to you, because of course he does.
“What do you think they’re talking about?” You tip your beer bottle towards your mom and her friends.
“Probably the fact that Marcia at the end of the street is having an affair with her assistant at work.” He says it so nonchalantly that you almost think he’s joking, until you look up at him and find he’s deadly serious.
“Oh my god, really?” You choke on your beer, “Joel she’s like sixty, how old is he?”
He shrugs, “How am I supposed to know,” he takes a sip of his own drink, “Heard ‘em gossiping when I came inside.”
“Get it girl, I guess,” You snigger, “Her husband must be pushing seventy and we’ve all got needs I suppose.”
His warm hand comes to rest on your thigh, just above your knee. It’s under the table and with everyone else preoccupied with their conversations, no-one would really notice, but there’s still a thrill settling through your bones.
“Promise you’d let me sort your needs out at seventy, sweetheart?”
You snort, “Joel, when I’m seventy there’s a strong likelihood, you’ll either be senile in a home or dead.”
He throws his head back as he laughs, probably one of the most genuine expressions of happiness you’ve ever seen from him, and it warms your heart that you were the one to cause it. Outside of Tommy and Sarah, and occasionally your dad, Joel was stoic, almost to a fault, but you liked this version of him, warm and happy, with his hand on your thigh.
Said hand is now currently inching it’s way higher, hitting the material of your dress. You drop your head and watch as his hand disappears underneath the white linen material to rest dangerously close to the apex of your thighs. You turn your head to give him a warning look but he’s not even paying attention to you. He’s looking anywhere but at your face, his own plastered with a look of complete indifference that his fingers are brushing the cotton of your underwear and causing your breath to catch in your throat.
You can feel him tracing the seam of your pussy through the material and if he’s not careful, within the next few seconds you’re going to outwardly beg him to bend you over and fuck you on this table in front of everyone. To save yourself the pain of watching him slowly murdered by your father, you reach down and grab his wrist, pulling his hand away from you.
“Will you give it a rest?” You chide, “Don’t start something you can’t finish.
Almost on cue, Tommy is bounding up the garden, your father a few steps behind him. Joel extricates his hand from between your legs, still looking like the picture of calm.
“Can you give me a ride into town?” Tommy asks, “Delia wants to grab drinks.”
You watch as Joel rolls his eyes, “Can you not take a cab?”
“C’mon Joel, just run me into town, it won’t take too long.”
“Who’s Delia?” You ask, winking at Tommy.
“Tommy’s latest girlfriend,” Joel replies, standing from the chair, “He’s smitten.”
“She ain’t my girlfriend, jackass,” Tommy glares at Joel, “We’re just spendin’ time together.”
“Oh, so she’s your fuck buddy then?” You smirk, causing Joel to choke on his spit and Tommy to laugh.
“Oh, c’mon old man,” Tommy is teasing, clapping him on the back, “You could use one’a them yourself, spendin’ all your time alone in that house.”
It’s your turn to flush, the words if only you knew spring to the forefront of your mind, and it’s almost like Joel reads your thoughts.
“Who says I ain’t got one of my own?”
Tommy looks disgusted for a second at the thought of his older brother having his own fuck buddy, you can feel your cheeks flushing too, knowing that it’s you he’s talking about when no-one else around you has any idea, “Right, well you keep that information to yourself please.” Is all Tommy replies before him and Joel are bidding everyone goodbye.
You sit for a moment outside, trying to calm yourself down, but all you can do is rub your thighs together and sigh that Joel did in fact start something he couldn’t finish, leaving you high, dry and horny in favour of taking his brother into the city to get his dick wet.
“You alright, doll?” Your dad asks, taking Joel’s old chair, “Looking a little flushed,” He puts his hand on your forehead to check for a temperature, “You feelin’ alright?”
“I’m fine dad,” You mumble in response, suddenly hyper aware of the high-pitched screeching coming from your mom and her friends, “I might go and lie down for a bit.”
“Alright,” He leans over and presses a kiss to your cheek, “You just shout if y’need anything, alright?”
You lie on your bed upstairs for two hours. Somewhere around the first hour you can hear your mom bidding her friends goodnight and then the hushed talk she has with your father. Once the sun has set and the sky is dark you hear them go to bed, and not ten minutes later the soft snores of your father start drifting through your wall.
You’re too worked up to sleep. What you should do is reach into your drawer, pull out your vibrator and get yourself off, drift off to sleep and let it lie. Without thinking about the consequences though, you’re standing from your bed and opening your bedroom door as quietly as you can. You close it behind you and when there isn’t a lull in the sound of your parents snoring you know you’re in the clear. You pad down the stairs and slip on your sandals at the door, slipping out once you’ve grabbed one of your dad’s ties from the washing basket.
You’re halfway down the street when you really think about what you’re doing. Turning up to his house unannounced with a big plan and no real idea on how to execute it properly. What if he was already in bed? Or what if he’d decided to stay in town with Tommy and have a drink? Thankfully as you get closer to his house you notice his truck is in the driveway. A few steps later you see the light in the bottom window, meaning he’s still up and about.
You knock gently at the door, listening as you can hear shuffling behind it before he pulls it open. He looks you up and down with a smirk on his face, fingers hooked into the top of his jeans like he always stands.
“Well, ain’t this a nice surprise?”
“You started something you didn’t finish,” You breathe, stepping close enough to him to press your body against his own, “I want you to finish it,” You demand, “Right now.”
“That so?”
You step back just enough to reach your hands to his shoulders, pushing him back inside his home. You’re half-aware of him slamming the door shut behind you, but then his hands are snaking around your waist and your back is pressed against the wall as his lips finally crash to yours. It’s messy, all teeth and tongue, but you’re not complaining. You’d been dreaming of him kissing you all evening.
“How am I meant to finish it then, sweetheart?” He asks, breathing against your lips before joining them together again.
“Bedroom,” You gasp out the next time he pulls away from you, “Take me to bed, Joel.”
He wastes no time in grasping at your wrist and pulling you up the stairs and into his room. It is so quintessentially Joel. Bed unmade, overflowing washing basket in the corner. Chest of drawers which wouldn’t close because each drawer was stuffed so full of clothes and other things they were overflowing.
You turn to him, he’s leant in the doorway, cool as a cat, which infuriates you because you are so incredibly turned on. Your chest is heaving with every breath you take, skin flushed hot, “Take off your clothes.” You insist.
“Take off my clothes?”
“Did I stutter?” You raise an eyebrow and his face drops when he knows you mean business.
He’s slow about it. He drags his t-shirt over his head as he walks towards his bed, discarding it to the floor as you turn on the spot to follow him with your eyes. Then he’s looking straight at you as he undoes his belt with one hand, pulling it through the belt loops to fall to the floor as well. He unbuttons and unzips his jeans, pulling them down excruciatingly slowly. Then he stands and waits.
“All of it, Joel.” You motion to his boxers with the clear bulge of his cock visible through them.
“As you wish, ma’am.” And they too are discarded, leaving him completely naked to your complete state of dress.
“On the bed.”
You wonder if he can tell what might be about to happen because he lies down on the bed, head propped against the pillow. You’re quick to take your place at the foot of the bed, crawling up his body to straddle his hips. You can feel his cock nudging against the cotton of your underwear as you fall into him and kiss him. He opens his mouth against yours and it’s at this moment that you pull the tie from inside your bra into one hand. His eyes are closed, and he has no idea what’s about to happen. You drop the tie on the pillow next to him, using one hand to wrap around one his wrists, pulling it to rest above his head. You put all your weight on this hand, using your other to pull his other wrist above his head also.
He's too busy tangling his tongue with yours and bucking his hips into your clothed pussy to notice you reaching for the tie on the pillow. In fact, it’s not until you’re pulling yourself away from him and wrapping the silk of the tie around his wrists and knotting it to the headboard that he starts to question what you’re doing.
“What- fuck baby, what’re you doing?” His voice is wavering as he tugs his wrists.
“Making you pay.” You shrug, simply.
“Whatever did I do to deserve this?” He asks, watching intently as you start moving down his body with trails of your tongue, stopping occasionally, to press hot kisses to his skin.
“You already forget your teasing from earlier?” You mumble against his skin.
“Thought you liked it.” He whimpers as your lips are peppering kisses along his pubic bone, ignoring the throbbing of his cock.
“I did,” You admit, “Until you left me high and dry.”
“That wasn’t my fault,” He insists, breathing laboured, “If Tommy wasn’t so insistent, I’d have stayed and fucked you in that garden.”
You hum against his skin, trailing kisses down his thighs, dragging your fingernails after your mouth. You revel in the sounds of his deep breathing and the gasps he’s letting out.
“I don’t think this is very fair, sweetheart.” Joel’s strained voice comes from above you, causing you to take a break from pressing wet, open-mouthed kisses along his thighs.
“You weren’t complaining about teasing when you were in charge, Mr Miller.”
You hear a groan of frustration because he knows it’s true. He knows he pushed his luck earlier and he knows this is one battle he’s not going to win. He relents his incessant pulling at the tie that’s got him trapped to the headboard, not quite sure how you’re so practiced at tying men up so they can’t move, but he files that away to ask about later. Now he just focuses on you and your lips. The lips that he so wishes would just move a little to the right and envelop his cock in one go. He’s sure the relief from your teasing would be enough to having him come down your throat in minutes.
If you were a better woman, you’d have been able to keep this up for hours, but there’s an ache between your legs that is crying out to you to bury yourself on his cock. You can tell from the way he’s jutting his hips up to meet your lips wherever you kiss him that’s telling you he’s struggling too. You’ve proven your point, now it’s time to have fun.
“What do you want Joel?” You ask, looking up at him from your place between his thighs.
His eyes are begging you, “Sweetheart,” He huffs, “I need your mouth on me.”
He’s waited long enough. You grip the base of his cock in your hand, running your tongue along the underside before your lips wrap around the tip. The moan that drops from his mouth is indecent, and it only gets better when you start bobbing your head up and down his length.
“Untie me baby,” He begs as you feel his cock hit the back of your throat, “I wanna put my hands on you.”
You pull your mouth off him, using your hand to jerk him off, running strands of saliva up and down his length, “I don’t think so, you got more than enough earlier.”
He throws his head back and groans as you put your mouth back on him, taking him as far down your throat as possible, using your hand to pump the rest of his length that you couldn’t. His groans spur you on until he bucks his hips up as your mouth is running down his length, causing you to gag, tears forming in your eyes.
“Shit… shit baby,” He curses and then mumbles that he’s sorry, “I ain’t gonna last much longer, let me fuck you.”
Your pussy is practically begging for him to be inside of you, clenching around nothing at all with every drag of your mouth and swirl of your tongue around him, so he doesn’t have to tell you twice. You push yourself back on your knees, pulling your dress over your head and your underwear down your legs.
“Condoms?” You asked, his head motions to the bedside table.
You lean over him and pull one out, ripping the package open with your teeth before you’re rolling it down his length and straddling his hips, your tight cunt hovering inches above him. One last attempt at teasing him. He’s lined up just right with your entrance that when he bucks his hips, the head of his cock is nudging through your slick and into you and you’ve lost the game.
You sink yourself down onto him, throwing your head back in pleasure as your roll your hips and grind onto him. You open your eyes and the picture below you is a sight to behold. Joel, with his hands tied to his headboard by your dad’s striped, blue work tie, mouth agape with your name tumbling from his lips. He’s got a sheen of sweat across his beautifully tanned skin, beads of it pooling at his temples and dropping down onto the pillowcase below. He is completely at your mercy, and you think that if you tried hard enough, stared at him for long enough, that just this sight alone could make you come.
“Baby c’mon, untie me.” Joel begs once again.
You shake your head, instead leaning back, one hand gripping his knee behind you to steady yourself, the other snaking down your body to rest on your pussy. You dip your fingers down low enough to gather slick from where Joel’s cock is splitting you open, dragging your fingers up to circle your clit. You’re so sensitive from the teasing and the wanting that you know you’re finished before you really even start.
“God damn,” Joel moans beneath you, “So fuckin’ tight for me, that’s it, play with your pretty pussy for me,” Even when he’s tied up, he’s a menace, “Can feel you clenching me baby, you gonna come?” You nod your head but continue bouncing on his cock whilst your fingers bring you to the edge, “Touched yourself for less than a minute and you’re gonna come all over my cock, ain’t ya?”
“Fuck Joel, it’s just too good.”
“I know baby, I know,” He’s coaxing you, bringing his hips up to meet you on your way down, hitting that delicious spot inside you that he knows will make you come undone, “Give it to me, darlin’.”
It’s all you need. You hand is dropping from your pussy, palms of your hands hitting his chest as you convulse around his cock, crying his name out into the depths of his bedroom. He doesn’t let up his thrusts though, pounding into you from below, chasing his own high which soon follows.
You can feel the throbbing of his cock inside you, wishing that you could feel him painting your slick walls with his seed. Soon, you think, but not yet.
You’re face down on his chest when he mumbles from above you, “Think you can untie me now?”
You chuckle, pushing yourself off his chest to untie the knot. It comes apart easily and you think that if he had really wanted to, he could have pulled his hands apart and freed himself. He’s taking the tie from your hands.
“Where the hell’d you even get this?” He asks as you collapse onto the bed next to him.
“It’s my dad’s.” You smirk, turning to him, his eyes wide, dropping the tie to the floor like it had burnt him.
“M’never gonna be able to look at that man the same way.” He mumbles, turning onto his side, propping himself up on one arm, whilst using the other to rub soft circles on the skin of your tummy.
“Had to teach you a lesson somehow,” You grin at him, “Bet you won’t tease me again.”
“Oh sugar, if you’re gonna tie me up and ride me like that every time, you bet your bottom dollar I absolutely will.”

"20 minutes ago I got a DM from the clown." Chris looks at his phone.
"Really?" Matt asks surprised Tanner was still bugging Chris.
"He was giving shit."
"He's still going?" Matt asks.
"Who?" Nick asks lost for a second.
"Dani's ex friend's ex boyfriend." Chris tells him, "He saw the clip from our last-,"
Matt cuts in, "He saw Chris call him ugly."
"He was like it's funny you called me ugly when you look like that." Chris tells the two, "And I only said he was ugly to get Dani to like me."
"He's delusional." Nick's eyes widen.
"I know." Chris agrees.
"I still get some from her as well." Matt speaks up.
"I don't know who has it worse. You get a loser and I get an asshole. Nick is lucky." Chris eats his apple.
"Take some." Matt tells Nick.
"Like you're Dani's best friend so why do we get all the messages?" Chris adds.
"Well for one he hates you and she likes you so..." Nick looks at the two.
"I'm not for violence but the way she talks about Dani..." Matt starts to get pissed a tad bit thinking about the messages.
"I've daydreamed about hitting his punk ass." Chris adds swinging his arms around.
"I do need to jump in because I can get them to shut up." Nick agrees, "They're insane."
"He stalks all of us online." Chris says before Matt changes the topic slightly.
"I wanna talk about Dani staying with us and how some people are reacting." Matt tells the two, "Like I know it's not everyone. It's the same people who have a problem with Madi. We're allowed to have close friends that are girls. People just-,"
"Like who are you?" Nick throws out there.
"Just get over it please." Matt adds, "Madi is like our sister and Dani is our new roommate we're getting close to. The two of them message each other so much which I love. I can see them becoming best friends as well. They already act like it."
"Madi said that too." Chris speaks up.
"Dani said talking to her is like talking to a sister she doesn't have."
"I just wanna tell people, Dani isn't leaving." Chris makes clear for viewers.
"We literally mad a closet by the front door into a room. We had people come in and work on the house to construct a whole room for her." Matt explains.
"Like the whole under part of the living room is a room now. The only sad part is she's gotta share a bathroom with Matt." Nick laughs.
"Yeah." Chris laughs as well.
"Hey, we created a whole system for our bathroom so shut up. At least ours will be the cleanest as well." Matt points his fingers at them.
Once they were done with the podcast they find Dani was no where to be seen in the house so they figure out she left for a bit. Which she did because she had to run to the store for girl stuff and things she just wanted.
"What did you bring home?" Nick watches Dani walk towards the bathroom.
"Stuff for myself."
"What kind of stuff?" Matt watches her take a seat on the toilet to put together a little storage for her stuff.
"Well, a place for my makeup, hair accessories, pain meds, and you know pads and tampons." She smiles at him.
"I was wondering when you would make a place for that kind of stuff." He continues to watch her, "Is it finally that time of month huh?"
"Obviously, Matt." She looks back at what she was doing, "So when I have my moments just leave me alone."
"When's the worst day?"
"Today because day two it's when I have the worst pains." She lets him know.
"Got it, don't push your buttons." He leaves her alone.
When she was finished they boys were doing whatever so Dani uses the living room tv to watch a show but soon Nick and Chris starts yelling playing around.
"Can y'all shut the hell up for one day?" She shouts pausing the tv to go to her room.
"What's her problem?" Chris asks Nick.
"Not a clue."
"She's on her period, guys." Matt walks out of his room.
"Oh, well best I stay out of her way till she's done with it." Chris goes to his room to play games.
"Sorry, Dani!" Nick shouts before going to watch tv on the couch.
Matt goes back to his room getting his keys leaving the house to get some food in hopes to cheer Dani up a bit. Take her mind off her cramps and emotions.
"Nick, where's Matt?" Dani asks after looking he wasn't in his room.
"Went somewhere. Why?"
"I just wanted to let him know I was gonna take a shower so if he comes back while I'm in there let him know." She says going to the bathroom.
"Yeah, okay." He waves his hand paying attention to the tv.
While Dani was in the shower, Nick rushes to his room to use the bathroom since he had to go. Sadly at that moment Matt decided to come home and he had to pee. As he walked towards the bathroom he heard the shower so he speed walks to Chris's room but he was using the bathroom as well.
"Dani, I gotta pee!" He knocks on the door before opening it shielding his eyes so he doesn't see her.
"Okay." She says not really caring.
"You're calm for me being in here."
"Well I trust you so but hurry up because I'm about done." She lets him know so he quickly goes pee.
"I brought you Taco Bell." He lets her know as he washes his hands.
"Just me?"
"And me too." He laughs drying his hands.
"Can we watch a movie too?" She asks rising her hair.
"Mine or yours?"
"Mine because the other two won't bug us and complain how you only got us food." She tells him turning off the shower.
"Smart thinking. I also got you a Dr Pepper so I'll be in your room." He leaves so she can get out.
Once she was done she joins Matt in her room jumping onto her bed ready to eat since she's been wanting their tacos, "What movie did you pick?" She asks since he had her remote in his hand.
"Shrek because that's what I'm in the mood for." He hands her the remote so he can get his food out of the bag.
"Be prepared for me to quote this movie." She gets her food out of her bag as well.
After eating they get comfy under the blankets and finish the movie then start the second one next. The plan was to binge watch all of the movies but they ended up failing since they both passed out during the third one.
Being the good friend Nick was he wanted to go check on her since she hadn't felt her room in hours. "Hey Da-," Nick opens the door gently to see the two fast asleep in bed. Matt was slightly sleeping on his stomach while Dani cuddled his back/side that was facing her. "You two worry me." Nick turns off the tv and lights leaving the room.

It took her a while to wake, forcing her eyes to stay shut, not daring to give away her awakened mind should she not be alone. With a quiet exhale leaving (y/n), she tried to focus on her other senses, on what she could feel, smell, and hear. But she was surrounded by complete silence, nothing could be heard, no cars, no beeping sounds that could indicate any machines, not even the sound of somebody breathing.
She felt the hard chair she was sitting on pressing against her aching back, her wrists unable to move due to the tape that was burning into her skin, keeping her glued to the chair. Fuck, panic arose in her system, not being able to move made the whole thing even more complicated, unable to fight off whoever had taken her.
It had been too dark inside the SUV to make out the features of her stalker, only his unfamiliar, deep voice had rang in her ears before he had knocked her out. She hadn’t even gotten any time to struggle, face falling forwards against the dark console, swallowed by the darkness within seconds before Aaron could come rescue her.
Aaron – oh god, Aaron. (Y/n) knew that he’d blame himself for letting her out of his sight, leaving her side for just a minute too long. Had he seen her stalker drive the car away from the BAU? Or had he thought that she had driven off on her own? No, he knew what had happened, they were already looking for her – they had to be.
Chills ran down her spine, a sensation so strong, (y/n) could no longer keep her eyes closed. She had to blink a few times to adjust to her dark surroundings. The room was small, looking like a prison cell, with only her chair, a table, and a small lamp that barely managed to alight even half of the room.
Where the hell was she?
Her gaze flickered down to the black tape that had been wrapped around her wrists, glueing her to the chair. With a huff breaking through (y/n), she tried to tug on her restraints, knowing that she’d eventually be able to break free if she’d get enough time to find her strength. Her body felt weak, leaving her to wonder how long it had been since her stalker had gotten his hands on her.
Fuck, she had been careless, in retrospect she should have been all too aware of the dangers lurking outside. She couldn’t help but curse herself for leaving Aaron’s side, for declining Derek’s offer, she would have been safe with them around. Fuck, fuck, fuck.
(Y/n) didn’t get any more time to curse her stupid actions, eyes flickering to the door which was pushed open. The man who stared at her looked unfamiliar, a stranger she hadn’t ever crossed paths with before – at least not willingly. She wasn’t sure if she should feel relieved that he was a stranger, or scared, unable to tell what he’d do to her.
“Well, finally, sweetheart, you had me worried.” He wasn’t much taller than she was, with brown hair slicked back, and dark eyes hidden behind round glasses. The guy must have been in his mid-twenties, a lanky figure she could take down in a fight if she’d only get the chance to. “Now, don’t look at me like that, I warned you, didn’t I? You should have been a good girl, should have listened to my warnings, to the rules, but you’ve never been good at doing that, huh? Of course not, you’re sleeping with your professor after all.
A humourless laugh left the man, dripping with jealousy and hatred. Fear thumped through her veins as he took a step closer, forcing her to part her lips to flush some water down her throat. Perhaps she could use his anger to her advantage, perhaps she could try to rile him up just enough to force him to cut her restraints – she’d only need one chance to fight her way out of this.
“Who are you?” Her voice was monotone, not dripping with anything that could give away her fear, the uneasiness she was held hostage by. She kept her eyes on him, not daring to look away even for one second.
“That’s not important right now, darling. What counts is that I’ve got you here with me, and well, I’ll need to thank the lovely Penelope Garcia for that. She helped me get you after all.”
……
“Hotch, c’mon man, at least sit down for a few minutes. We’ll get your girl.” Aaron’s coffee-coloured eyes met Derek’s wide ones, letting go of an exhausted huff as he slowly sat down on the chair. It has been over six hours since (y/n) had been taken, forced to watch the video over and over again, watching how a masked figure had broken into the SUV, how (y/n) had stepped into the car all too obliviously, and how the SUV had hastily left the parking lot moments later.
“Alright, so we can rule out Lorey, we can rule out her family,” Emily repeated what they had put together hours ago, letting go of a defeated huff.
“So, we have nothing.” Aaron let go of another sigh, eyes momentarily squeezed shut to try and collect himself. This is what he had been fearing all this time, after losing Haley Aaron had known that he needed to be even more careful, that he couldn’t take any risks, for his sake and Jack’s.
“Garcia, anything you could pick up on the CCTV feed?” His dark eyes snapped towards Penelope, studying her tired features, not used to seeing her this quiet. She kept her teary eyes focused on the screen, not replying verbally, only shaking her head. With Derek’s hand placed on Peleope’s shoulder, they found themselves engulfed by silence. A silence that left their insides churning, knowing that time was working against them.
……
She helped me get you after all. She helped me get you after all. She helped me get you after all.
Bile rose in (y/n)’s throat as his words kept ringing in her ears. Penelope? It couldn’t be, not the one she had instantly clicked with. It couldn’t be, not the sunshine that had brightened the darkness she had been trapped in. It couldn’t be, it simply couldn’t be.
She needed to distract herself, needed to get a grip before she’d spiral. Her thoughts brought her back to Aaron, how he had touched her only hours ago, in the early morning, pressed against the dark shower tiles.
“Hold on to me, I’ve got you, baby.” Aaron’s raspy voice left her gasping, choking on the moans he forced from her. He had her pinned against the wall, hands holding her up as she slung her legs around his waist. With their eyes holding contact, he pushed into her, making them moan in unison.
Their hearts were racing, minds silenced by the intense sensations washing through them. She wondered if she’d ever get used to feeling him this close, deep inside of her, pressing against her stomach.
Aaron fucked her without holding back, his thrusts were fast, rough, and calculated, knowing that they couldn’t waste any time in the morning. The open-mouthed kiss they shared managed to swallow some of their sounds, leaving them clinging to one another.
“Fuck, Aaron, I can’t.” Her pulsing bundle was overstimulated from the two orgasms he had pushed through her only minutes ago, pressed to the mattress with his face buried between her thighs. No man had ever managed to make her cum this fast, this hard, an insatiable need that guided the two of them on.
“You can, and you will, baby.” His voice dropped with possessiveness, a dark touch that left her toes curling. Fuck, (y/n) knew that she was close already, once again letting go with a moan clawing through her without another warning.
Aaron kept fucking her, chasing his own high with his eyebrows furrowed together and his fingers digging into the flesh of her ass. She could tell that he was about to cum, pulling out of her at the last second, watching his cum paint her lower stomach.
Fuck, she needed to get back to Aaron, to touch him again, to feel him again, to speak to him again. She had waited too long to finally be with him, and nobody could take that from her, and especially not her stalker.
As if the man had heard her thoughts, he waltzed back into the room with a smug grin glued to his lips. He wore a suit, trying to come off as sophisticated, as if he was just another normal guy, not the sick and twisted bastard who was holding her hostage. Only as he placed her breakfast down for her did (y/n)'s eyes focus on the badge dangling from his neck, clearly stating that he was working for the FBI.
The FBI? Had he been that close the whole time?
“It’s time for me to go to work, I was called in earlier because the oh-so-valuable assistant team member of the BAU is missing. Of course, they won’t find her, especially not since I’ll be the one supporting them.” The smirk he wore on his thin lips left (y/n) choking on her angry gasps, trying to keep quiet. He wanted to get a reaction out of her, wanted to rile her up – but (y/n) wouldn’t give in, she couldn’t. “You should eat something while I’m gone. And there’s a bucket for you, I’m sure you’ll eventually need the toilet.”
“Cut me loose, asshole, otherwise I won’t be able to reach the food or the bucket.” A raspy laugh left the guy, slowly stalking closer to (y/n). His breath fanned her skin, leaving her covered in goosebumps, torn between disgust and fear.
“You’re a smart girl, (y/n), I’m sure you’ll figure something out. I’ll see you tonight, babe.”
……
“Guys, this is Kacey, he’s from the Tech Department, he’s one of the best down there, I thought it’d be good for Penelope to have some extra help.” JJ’s voice echoed through the room, she shot Kacey a grateful smile as he pushed his glasses up his nose.
“Hi guys, it’s good to finally meet the rest of you, Penelope always speaks so highly of you. I’ll do anything to help you find her, I promise.” He nodded at the team before he was pulled in for a tight hug by Penelope. She and Kacey had crossed paths a while ago, spending some time in her office together as they talked about shared interests, making plans to go out with their friends together, and building a friendship she deeply cherished.
“Thank you, we’ve got no time to lose, it’s been over twelve hours by now.” Aaron’s voice was emotionless, no longer dripping with the fear he had shown his team, no longer appearing vulnerable in front of a man who was a stranger to him. “Garcia, you two will keep on following the unsub on the feed, the rest of us will go back to (y/n)’s apartment, we’ll comb through it again, and see if we missed something.”
“You found him on the feed?” Neither Penelope nor the others seemed to pick up on the surprise filling every word that rolled off Kacey’s tongue, eyebrows furrowed.
“I did! He thought he was sneaky, but he missed a few cameras, it’s not much, but maybe we can eventually trace him back to his work, his car, or even his home." Penelope shot Aaron a hopeful smile, clinging to the smallest detail. "Thank you for helping us, really, I know if somebody can push us in the right direction, it’ll be you, Kacey.”
.……
Sweat was pooling on (y/n)’s forehead, lips bloody from the way she had pierced her teeth into the thin skin. She had lost count of the amount of tries she had used to free her aching wrists, without any luck so far.
“Fuck, c’mon!" Tears dripped down her cheeks and a deep, shaky exhale left her, trying to keep herself somewhat collected. With another breath inhaled into her burning lungs, (y/n) collected all her strength to try and rip her wrists free. One last try. It took her a second to realise that she had managed to break through the layers of tape on her left wrist, having to shake her numb fingers a few times before she could free her other wrist.
She’d get out of here, for the sake of herself, for the sake of Aaron.

Eazy-Duz-It // Logan Howlett x Reader
PT 1
a/n this is also on my ao3 account, but i felt like posting it here, too, for funsies. i'm bad at descriptions, just go with it.
Tumblr media
synopsis: The school needs a therapist, fast. Maybe this random mutant can be the music teacher slash music therapy person. Oh yeah, there's also this mutant testing corporation?
-----------
"Clearly something isn't working," Ororo mumbled as she watched yet another student run by yelling obscenities behind them and ignoring the damage being caused by their mutation. It was nearing the end of the first week that a therapist had been employed at the school. Rebecca Zien was recommended to Charles by Jean Grey as a counselor that was also a fellow telepath.
"Perhaps the problem is that she's a mutant. She seems to be invading the students' minds, leaving them no room to express their emotions themselves." Charles determined beside her. He and Ororo had been watching closely the entire week, gathering information to see if Dr. Zien should be a permanent addition to the staff. It was evident that she should leave. "I'll discuss with her later this evening. Please go have a word with Miss Lily." Charles instructed Ororo which she gladly took to. It wasn't in her to leave a struggling student to their own devices when she could easily go help. This left Charles alone to think about what the next course of action was to be. Like Ororo had said, something wasn't working. They had an issue on their hands. They couldn't introduce something new and take it away and pretend like nothing happened. This week had caused all the students stress, and he needed to fix this mistake. The solution would have to wait a little longer, for now, he needed to fire Rebecca Zein.
Somewhere else in the world
"Leave me the fuck alone! God damn!" a woman demanded, struggling at the ropes that clung her uncomfortably to an equally as uncomfortable chair. "I have no idea what the hell y'all are even talking about!" she kicked at the air. The idiots who tied her down didn't think to restrain her legs. Said idiots, were leaning against the opposing wall to where the woman was tied. It was a small, dingy place. The acoustics made it sound like a shipping container. The woman didn't know for sure; she was knocked out before being put here.
"Do you ever shut up?" one man said. There was only two of them, the one who spoke seemed to be the younger of the duo. He seemed more inexperienced at kidnapping and interrogating people, too. He had repeatedly hit the woman after every question, not even giving her a chance to respond. But it wasn't like she had anything to respond with, anyway. She was plucked off the street after being detected as a mutant by the two. How they did that, she didn't know. Her mutation wasn't flashy or anything, it wasn't even visible when she was using it. She didn't need to outstretch her arms, her eyes didn't glow, nothing was admitted off of her. Her mutation was invisible unless she was using it on you. There was something wrong with the container, something that was preventing her from using her mutation on the two idiots.
"I'm not really known for being quiet, buddy." she remarked. They had been at a standstill for hours it felt. The older of the two muttered that it would be just a few more hours before she was out of their hair. Whatever that meant. They were both bald anyways. The younger opened his mouth in tandem with someone knocking on the container.
"About fucking time," the younger said as he leaned harder to crack open the container behind him. A force grabbed him, though, yanking him out of the container. A second didn't even pass before three silver claws dragged the older man with. The container was opened fully by a man with unibrow inspired sunglasses.
"Jean! There's someone in here!" he called out behind him. Another pair of footsteps ran beside him, a woman, Jean, appeared beside him and stepped into the container.
"I'm guessing y'all aren't the people they were waiting for?" the tied woman asked. Jean cracked a small smile as she made her way over to the other woman.
"That's right. What's your name? We weren't made aware that they had any hostages." she asked.
"I'm Y/n. I think I'm the only one here. I didn't hear anyone else being questioned in a one-mile radius. I don't know how big shipping container yards are, though." Y/n said. She helped slip the ropes around her torso off.
"You're a mutant?" Jean asked. Y/n stood, nodding. "Scott, see if there's any other hostages around." she called behind her. Unibrow shades, Scott, gave a thumbs up before running out of view. The sounds of the two kidnappers being beat up finally stopped and another man popped his head into view. He was gruffer than the other two saviors. He was a little and bloody from pummeling those two crooks. The sweat on his forehead was illuminated by the moonlight, as were his silver claws.
"Is she comin' with us or what?" even his voice was gruff. Sounds like he's gonna need a smoke after this, Y/n thought.
"A third location? What happened to never let someone take you to a second one, huh?" Y/n mumbled.
"Hm, funny," Jean said, "he's talking about a school for mutants. We're teachers there."
"I thought you guys were some kind of comic heroes?"
"That too," Scott wandered into the conversation. Jean gave him a questioning look, "no other hostages out there, just what we came here for." he informed.
"Good, lets head out then. Y/n, would you care to come with us? It'd be safer for you if you did."
"Only if you tell me who you guys are," Y/n crossed her arms. This 'school for mutants' sounded too good to be true; living as a mutant in this world taught Y/n that things were always too good to be true.
"I'm Jean, the man with the visor is Scott, and that's Logan. Are you coming with us or not?"
"Sure,"
-----------
Firing Dr. Zein wasn't exactly a walk in the park, unfortunately. She stormed out of the mansion saying something about her telepathy always helping her in her career as a therapist. Something like that. Charles Xavier was now sitting in his office with Ororo and other x-men/professors deciding what to do next.
"Maybe we could hire a non-mutant therapist? Maybe having someone on the outside looking in will give better counseling than someone on the inside. An outside perspective," Kitty Pryde suggested.
"We'd have to find someone willing to do that. I don't know if there will be many therapists out there willing to jeopardize their career by taking a controversial position as a mutant counselor." Henry rebutted.
Everyone who added to the discussion had valid points. It was starting to give Charles a headache. No solution seemed right; none fit with their circumstances. Most of the students said that the counseling felt too invasive. The whole situation gave everyone a headache.
"That's enough for today. We'll discuss this at further length when more faculty is present." Charles finally announced. The meeting had lasted well over an hour, they started talking in circle. "You all are dismissed." Faculty filtered out of the room at a moderate pace, Ororo was the only to stay behind as she has been Charles' righthand man during this whole ordeal. "You would imagine we'd be more equipped to handle this." he solemnly joked. Ororo didn't have the capacity to a pity smile.
The doors to his office suddenly burst open, revealing Scott, Jean, Logan, and someone he hadn't met before. "To what do we owe the honor?" Charles' eyebrows lifted slightly at the entrance and unfamiliar face.
"We found the weapons dumped at a shipping yard. We also found a hostage." Logan informed. At the mention of 'hostage' he pushed Y/n forward a little.
"Hostage?" Charles wheeled closer to Y/n. "A mutant hostage." he leaned back in his chair.
"Uh, yeah. Why is that important?" Y/n asked after the few seconds of examination.
"The weapons these three recovered are mutation repressors being manufactured by a colleague of one William Stryker." Charles stated. The air of mystery was quickly set aside, however.
"You say that like I'm supposed to know who that is," Y/n noted. The three behind her were getting annoyed, but Charles continued to enlighten Y/n with the important information she was missing.10 minutes had passed soon enough; Jean and Scott were lounging on a couch, Logan was one sentence from walking out of the room, and Y/n was sitting across Charles at his desk.
"Ok, so William Stryker sucks. I did, however, pick up pretty quick that they were gonna try out the mutation repressors on me, thank you for the thorough explanation, though." Y/n pointed out. She didn't mean that statement with any aggression, seemed like Jean and Scott didn't get that memo with the even more irritated expressions they displayed.
"What is your mutation, anyway?" Logan called out. He might as well get something out of all the waiting he was doing.
"It's kind of hard to explain. It relates to beats and rhythm," Y/n started, "like music," she added after seeing the confusion on his face.
"Music?" Logan grunted. Y/n just nodded, not feeling like an audible response was necessary if he was just going to be a bitch about it. "Why the hell would they want to test these out on a mutation like that?"
"Beats me, no pun intended. The container they put me in had something done to it where I couldn't use my mutation." Y/n shrugged. Charles and Jean perked up. Jean walked over from the couch slowly, the gears started turning in her head.
"They held you in a box that cancelled out your abilities?" Jean clarified; Y/n nodded once more. "That must mean this organization created a metal or compound of something that represses mutations, not just weapons."
"Organization?" Ororo asked.
"Yes, ReinTec, I believe." Charles added. "Jean, Scott, find whatever you can about ReinTec. Y/n, I'd like to talk to you about staying here at the school, I have an issue I believe you can help with."

Okay but like…two things…what if Billy hears Eddie call his muse “sunshine” for the first time, how dare he have a nickname like that for his muse.
OR if Billy ever walks in on his muse and Eddie kissing…
the way his facial features like straighten out and he shifts around with an, "excuse me?"
and before you can interject eddie's being a little smug with the whole thing, just a little look in his eye, "well everybody calls her something-"
"not everybody calls her that"
"not my fault she radiates light"
"but your words are, keep yourself in check, roundtree"
he does in fact not keep himself in check
OKAY this really depends on the time in their relationship where it's happening
if it's just in the midst of the years spent together, just another cycle of his bad moods and breakdowns, he's probably storming into a room to rant about something and just totally seething
"what the fuck, roundtree"
"billy-" and you're trying to interject but he's not letting you, he's already shoving eddie
"writing songs about my girl, waiting for us to fight and then, what? getting her to kiss you instead"
"weren't you just fucking one of your groupies, billy? strong talk from someone who can't keep it in his pants for 'his girl'"
billy's gone in for a punch when you're tearing at his shoulders, "billy, I'm sorry, just leave him alone, please" and you're frantic because things are devolving so fast.
billy's looking at you in disbelief, "and you, trying to get into the pants of the whole goddamn band. can't leave you alone for a second, so spoiled that you jump around. 'i wanna be your girl, billy. i want to be special, billy. i'm gonna go make out with your bassist.' the shit you pull, is insane"
and you're crying because you're scared this will be the last straw, but also because his hypocrisy is so frustrating. "billy-"
he's already whipped around to look at eddie, "stay the hell away from her"
and he's leading you out of the room and btw you're getting railed
but like if it's in the time of the tour, where they've already had the big ultimatum and this is his last chance. he's already failing and he knows that, so if he walks in then, he doesn't get angry because he knows it's his fault, he knows he can't get mad. so he's staring for a second, exhaling, and leaving the room. you follow him and he's just leaning up against the wall outside. you can tell he doesn't even want to acknowledge it and he just, "let's go look at the city, baby"
y'all I'm traveling, it's been super hectic I'm so sorry about the lack of content

William Afton x Reader Pt 2
A/N- As promised, part two is here! Still working on it, and really I have no idea how it's going to end up. Leaning towards nsfw just because (lol) but open to any and all suggestions, and you can leave requests as well! Y'all are awesome :)
Words- 2,642
Warnings- Mentions of murder, general violence, language
Tumblr media
You went to bed without any problems, and the next day arose a little before your alarm. You hated that. You could never fall back asleep. You wondered about nothing in particular for the next few minutes, trying to muster to urge to finally get out of bed. You looked over to your uniform. It was a starched white shirt, a white tie with tiny multicolored triangles all over it, and a bright red vest. You would get your name tag soon, as the employee handbook stated, and you stared further at the two pins that were stuck on the vest. One said Let’s Eat! In the style of Chica’s bib, the other was a picture of Bonnie the Bunny playing the guitar.
     Bunny?
Eerily similar to the one in the picture in William’s office. Just purple instead of yellow.
Why would William close down the diner, make entirely new animatronics, and abandon the yellow bunny?
You sighed, shaking your head to rid yourself of confusion, before finally rising out of bed. You quickly got ready, and went out the door to your second day at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, a magical place where fantasy and fun come to life.
This time, when arriving at the door, William himself greeted you, and asked for you in his office.
God, what did I do now?
You were fully prepared to get fired. There was no way this could be something good, you followed him back, mind racing. He led you to the office and sat down, you doing the same. He noticed your bewildered expression.
“Oh don’t worry, it’s nothing bad,” He said, waving his hand dismissively. Before giving you a chance to respond, he quickly began to speak, almost urgently, but not quite.
“I’m afraid my security guard has quit unexpectedly, effective immediately. The pizzeria needs a temporary security guard until we can hire a new one, which doesn’t take long. Would you be willing to fill in until we find one?”
He pauses, rubbing his greyed goatee before continuing,
“The hours aren’t very good, and generally the pay would be the same, I might be able to give a few hours of overtime because of the urgency, but we just really need a body there at night.”
You were utterly confused, and it showed on your face.
Why in the hell is William asking me to guard the Pizzeria when I’ve only been here two days? Why wouldn’t Barbara, or the other workers be asked first? Have they said no? Is there something I should know?
“Why me?” You ask bluntly, William seemed to anticipate this question and answered quickly.
“It’s easy, and we could train you for both positions at the same time, so you could cover for both. It would be more useful to the company that way.” You barely knew anything about your current position, only how the prize corner worked, so it wouldn’t make sense to immediately start me somewhere else. Let alone at a completely different time. William seemed to feel your confusion and spoke again.
“I wouldn’t normally train you this way, but it’s very important we have someone here at night. You can come back at around midnight tonight, and it’s only until six AM.” William seemed genuinely desperate, so you agreed. You began to leave his office, wanting to go back home and catch some z’s before going back to the Pizzeria, but asked quickly,
“What happened to your Diner from before, Fredbear’s Family Diner?”
William stopped what he was doing and looked up at you, eyes squinted slightly, like he was trying to read your expression, like he was trying to gauge how much you knew. You pointed to the picture. He grabbed it off the shelf and smiled at it.
“Fredbear’s Family Diner… You’re quite observant. It was closed down about five years ago due to electrical issues, and we rebranded to be a little more with the times, diners were considered outdated by that point.”
     That didn’t explain the bunny.
“What about the bunny? Why isn’t he here?” William moved his jaw, thinking for a second before responding.
“We retired those animatronics and replaced them with more high-tech ones, absent from spring-lock mechanisms entirely.” William put the picture back up and thanked you for taking the security guard shift. You went home and slept until around ten p.m.
You arrived at the Pizzeria again and shut off your car, shivering in the cold. William was waiting for you at the door, and scolded you for not bringing a jacket. He then led you down the same hallway his office was, but instead went into another room further back. This room was a bit bigger, although still cramped, but had another door to lead you to the other section of the building, it was a nice shortcut for getting through both hallways in the back. The front wall had a big poster of all the animatronics, and a few drawings tacked on the wall made by various children. The floor was checkered, and noticeably more dirty and unkempt than the same floor up front. There were identical light switches at both opposite doors, a red button, and a white button. The top red one was labeled DOOR and the bottom white was labeled LIGHT respectively.
“Thank you for coming, just make sure to watch the cameras and make sure no one gets in…” William seemed like he was going to add something, but rethought.
“There’s a cassette tape in the recorder if you’d like to listen to it, it might explain the job better. I’ve got to go, but if there’s an emergency you can speed dial me at the front telephone.” William left the room, and you were left in the dark. Almost literally. There was a single light on the ceiling, angled towards the front wall. There were also backlights on the door and light buttons, illuminating them slightly. Those were the only sources of light in the entire room. You flipped through the cameras, looking at the empty Pizzeria. Then you popped in the cassette tape and played it.
Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay? Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. Okay. So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free-roaming mode at night. Uh... Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long.
The tape ended abruptly. The animatronics move at night? You took it out of the recorder and looked at the date on the side, it was from around five years ago, when this place would have first opened. You were a little bit on edge and did not want any of them inside your office, or anywhere near you to be honest. Who knows what they would be capable of? You checked the cameras again, and Bonnie had moved.
     Bonnie had moved.
"Fuck." You said, staring at the camera.
Why in the hell didn't William tell me about this?
That was an easy question to answer, if he had told you, you wouldn't have taken the job. That much was true. You clicked through the cameras again and made sure none of the other animatronics had moved. You sighed when you realized that they were all in their respective places.
The hours went by slowly, but none of the animatronics moved except Bonnie, and Bonnie hadn't come near your door. Once the clock struck six, and Bonnie had moved back to his respective place on the stage, you walked briskly (or rather, sprinted) to the door, and were met face-to-face with the one and only William Afton. You sneered at him. At this point, you were covered in sweat, and your eyes were bloodshot, you had been terrified the entire night.
"Why didn't you tell me they moved!" You said through gritted teeth. William smiled that same gentle goddamn smile.
"Would you have taken the job if I had?" You pinched the bridge of your nose and sighed.
"I quit, effective immediately." You said, taking off your vest and handing it to him. You could tell he was expecting this, so he gently gave it back to you.
"Listen, I've got a new security guard lined up to start tomorrow. If you do tonight, I'll pay you double overtime."
Double overtime? That was way more than you had ever gotten paid in your life...And for only six hours of work. You could really use the money.
Like really use the money. William's eyes grew big, and you could see that he genuinely wanted you to stay.
"I really like you, and I think you have the potential to be a wonderful manager at Freddy Fazbear's. If you do this for me, I promise I will lead you to that position...And," He added
"That pays salary," He smiles again and puts his hand on my shoulder, his eyes meeting mine.
"Please?" He asked, you wanted to run far away in the other direction. In fact, you wanted nothing to do with this goddamn Pizzeria at all.
But money was tight. Rent was due in a few days. There was no way your landlord was going to accept another I don't have it.
So you nodded. The tiniest nod. William looked absolutely elated.
"Thank you so much! I cannot express how much I appreciate this," His smile grew, and he patted you on the back.
"Listen, kid, I won't forget this favor, and if you ever need anything from me, let me know." He winked at you before going towards the Pizzeria, you stopped him.
"Is there anything I should know about the animatronics before I go?" Your hands were still slightly shaking from the fear you had just experienced, and William chuckled.
"Bonnie tends to be the most aggressive and will move around a lot. Chica likes to make noise in the kitchen before she appears in the hallway, and Freddy probably won't move around a lot, but I would still keep an eye on him." He furrows his brows before adding,
"Keep the camera on Foxy, or else he'll come running. Literally." You cocked your head, confused, but William had already gone through the door, and you were left watching the sun rise over the building.
What did this all mean?
How did he know about their behaviors? How do they move at night? Are they trying to hurt me?
More importantly.
What was William hiding?
It was obvious he was hiding something. You walked to your car and tried to fit the puzzle pieces together.
He opened up Fredbear's Family Diner, then had to close it because of electrical issues. Why not just solve the electrical issues? Why did he rebrand and make new animatronics? What was wrong with the other ones? Why is there so much turnover in the security guard position? Why did the animatronics move at night? Why, why, why...
There was no way you were going to sleep. So instead of going back home, you drove to the library and waited two entire hours until the older lady at the front unlocked the doors. It took everything in you not to run in the doors. You walked in, not paying attention to anything that was going on, and beelined straight to the newspaper article section. You ran your finger along the white metal shelf, and quickly read through the years.
1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984...
Aha! You almost yelled out, but stopped yourself. This was a library, and you needed to stay civil. Although you were pretty sure that went out the window when you basically ran to the newspaper section. You shuffled through every individual day, until something caught your eye.
Man, you had good luck.
Fredbear's Family Diner Closes, Five Children Missing
You ripped the newspaper from the shelf, eyes scanning over the entire front page. William Afton was on the front, and a large Grand Opening sign was hung on the building. He looked younger... He looked different. His eyes were different.
You read the page.
Five children missing after party at Fredbear's Family Diner. At around 3 pm Saturday morning, ten children attended the birthday party of [REDACTED] and mysteriously went missing. Owner was questioned and has since refused to make a statement. State-wide searches are beginning, and the public is urged to stay vigilant- continued on page 45.
The next page was covered completely with full-color pictures of the five children, all outlined in a red frame with the text HAVE YOU SEEN ME? printed on the top.
You turned to page 43 and turned once more to 46.
46?
A page was missing. You could see where it had been carefully ripped out. Someone wanted to keep this under wraps.
William had to have a part in the disappearance of those five children. You rubbed your finger over the ragged edge inside the newspaper and thought as hard as you could. There was so much you knew, but so much that was left unknown. You bit your lip and put the newspaper back, looking through the others, but finding no other information on Fredbear's Family Diner.
What was going on?
You thought you were going crazy. Maybe the kids just ran away and got hurt in the woods or something. Maybe someone kidnapped them outside the diner. Maybe the children went missing on their way to the party.
You knew they hadn't, a horrible feeling began to eat its way through the bottom of your stomach. You tried to reevaluate the information in your head, to make some sense of it.
Fredbear's Family Diner opens, then five children attend a birthday party and mysteriously go missing during it, then Fredbear's closes not a week after. William stated it closed because of "electrical issues", and Barbara also said "electrical issues", but there was no mention of electrical issues when reading the article. William was questioned but stayed silent, what was he hiding? There was also a page missing from the newspaper, who took it out? Did William not want you to find something? Why did he still keep a picture of Fredbear's Family Diner in his office then?
You left the library, got in your car, and went home. You had to stop thinking about this. You were way too into your psyche. You needed a good meal and a long nap.
So that's exactly what you did. Once eating, and waking from the nap, your brain was clearer, although the images of the five children never left your brain. Something about them seemed familiar like you had seen them before, but you hadn't moved here until about a year ago, and there was no way you would have heard about them, nor seen them. In fact, although you didn’t talk to many people in town, there was no mention of the kids anywhere. Which was exceptionally strange. How could five children go missing and just be forgotten about?
You shook your head yet again and got into your car. Turning the ignition and leaving for the Pizzeria. You were determined to figure out this mystery, and this time you were much more confident in your abilities to keep the free-roaming animatronics at bay. I mean, how hard could it be? They were just robots.

MOVING FROM SOME EASY EPISODES TO THE HARDEST. OUTPOST.
Do y'all remember the hype for this episode like we knew it was THE Crosshair episode and everyone was absolutely thirsting for it.
"A new friend is made on a harsh and unforgiving outpost planet" WHO WROTE THIS SUMMARY?
Like yes technically accurate as it doesn't specify that the new friend survives the friendship.
Crosshair clearly paying much more attention to the regs these days, at this point I do think he's pretty much had all his bullshit beaten out of him when it comes to thinking he's better than anyone else. Just in time for Crosshair's Worse Time Parade to start.
Much like Hemlock, Lieutenant Nolan is established as absolute garbage the instant he sees Crosshair taking like two seconds to breathe out of his helmet and tells him he's out of uniform. If The Bad Batch can do one thing it's write a man that sucks.
AND THEN HE MAKES IT WORSE WITH "I DON'T LIKE USED EQUIPMENT"
Literally would kill this man myself and he's been on screen for 30 seconds
THE ICE VULTURE <3 OUR BOY'S NEW MOTIF <3
MAYDAY. MAYYYYYDAYYYYYY.
Tumblr media
HE IS HERE!
God Mayday was complicated because like I loved him from the moment I saw him but also like, coming into this episode just logistically we knew anyone that showed Crosshair a hint of kindness was almost certainly going to get killed, so Mayday is loved for the exact thing that put him on the path to narrative doom. Reinforcements or no reinforcements, it doesn't matter, Mayday was never leaving Barton IV alive.
They waited 36 rotations. 4 days longer than Crosshair was left to nearly starve on a platform. If I remember correctly (I'm not there yet) Crosshair says the trip took 2 hours. None of their lives were worth two hours.
THE WAY MAYDAY HAS TWO, TWO MEN LEFT UNDER HIS COMMAND. ONLY TWO. HE HAD TO WATCH THE REST ALL DIE UNDER HIS WATCH. I AM SO FUCKING UNWELL ABOUT HIM.
I really love the name Hexx btw
"Respect is something to be earned." And immediately Nolan goes nuclear to insult him because he wasn't instantly given unconditional deference.
YEP IT WAS TWO HOURS. TWO HOURS OUT OF THE WAY.
I am going to scream from the layers of unfair this is.
The way Mayday's voice softens a touch when left alone with Crosshair though, always gentler with another clone.
I'm still not over the LONG pause after Mayday introduces himself, like Crosshair is trying to dig past the shields he put up between himself and his situation to remember his own name. He probably hasn't heard it at all since Cody.
Mayday looked at Crosshair and apparently felt the desperation for company rolling off him in smothering waves because he instantly is just like 'you're under my wing now'
That he's been out here over a year meaning that the Empire has been established for over a year is a lot to take in like god Crosshair has been away from home for so long.
"You'll freeze to death in that armor" He is like 10 seconds from wrapping Crosshair in a blanket I swear to god I'm only slightly projecting.
"Vicious creatures, but you have to admire 'em. They find a way to survive." GOD I LOVE THAT LINE. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.
Using the explosion through heat vision to completely screw Crosshair's up for the shot was such a good excuse to have him just wound the guy instead of kill him, lol.
Still was surprised to see a blood trail in this cartoon, but sure they can't show us any sign of Tech's body right (YES I AM STILL ON THIS AND WILL BE UNTIL THEY SHOW US THE BOY)
Goddddd him putting Hexx and Veetch's helmets next to all of the others. His very last brothers, the men he was responsible for, god I am in tatters about it. Every second of this episode is just. Grief and Pain.
"Remind me not to die on your watch" Don't worry you're the only person that's been nice to him in months he will literally drag you through hell to save your life. Crosshair just has what we call "Something is wrong with him" disease and all of his words pass through the cortex that makes him rude before getting to you.
My thoughts on this mine disarming scene are Many but let it just be said that I still cannot believe they put this on my screen, it was made explicitly for me to be feral to.
Mayday has learned fast how to talk to Crosshair though, gotta give him some snark back.
"They're... gone." "And here we are. The survivors."
GOD I AM UNHINGED ABOUT THIS.
"If I don't hear a boom then I'll know it worked." "Glad you're confident in your work." "Oh I'm confident, I'm just not stupid."
I just love this back and forth dynamic that they hit perfectly and immediately.
Hey Crosshair actually wins a hand to hand fight all he has to do is sneak up on them and not give them the opportunity to actually hit him back.
Shout out to the guy whose first instinct was to try and RUN MAYDAY OVER WITH A CAR like it didn't work but impressive ingenuity.
Clones dying to guard the gear intended for their replacements god it makes me ILL.
"We're good soldiers. We followed orders. And for what?"
The entire thing is designed to drive a wedge into Crosshair's brain and break through the thick shield he's built around himself where he is so sure if he just follows orders Well Enough maybe he can make everything he's done and lost worth it in the end but he can't because he never had a future in the Empire and no amount of sunk cost fallacy will change that.
AND JUST IN TIME FOR HIS EPIPHANY WE GET THE AVALANCHE.
Literally would be so fascinating to see exactly what was running through Mayday's head when he chose to push Crosshair out of the way of the rock instead of jumping to safety himself. He just met this guy, he's not technically responsible for him, but Mayday has lost every single soldier he was in command of, sole survivor of his unit, and he finally, finally had the opportunity to save someone. If he only saves one person, maybe he's done something worthwhile.
And honestly, Crosshair is trying to do the same back to him. Just Mayday dies knowing he succeeded and Crosshair lives knowing he failed.
I am fucking destroyed by this episode by the way like it is so unbearably good and also tragic as hell.
Mayday trying to get Crosshair to leave him behind and the music when Crosshair decides absolutely the fuck not. That they have one helmet between them and Crosshair put it on Mayday's head and not his own.
THE MUSIC AS CROSSHAIR IS SO DETERMINED TO DRAG HIM BACK AND THE ICE VULTURE OVERHEAD MY GOD.
The moment of them huddling together in a tiny little hideaway in the rock ends me too, like, images that stick in my head forever.
And despite everything Crosshair made it he got Mayday back to the outpost alive, he did everything to accomplish the impossible and it should have been enough, but it wasn't all because Nolan doesn't value either of their lives enough to even lift a single finger for Mayday.
Like Crosshair accomplishing the impossible through sheer stubbornness only to have it pulled away at the last second I am in AGONY.
HE GAVE MAYDAY HIS SNIPER RIFLE TO USE AS A CRUTCH FOR GODS SAKE
Crosshair taking Mayday's helmet off and at least giving him one last moment of human connection before it's over
The voice acting in this moment is absolutely unbelievable but especially on 'Help him' like give DBB all the money in the world because I was shattered.
THE FACT THAT THEY MADE US LISTEN TO MAYDAY GURGLE COUGH OUT HIS LAST BREATH AND SEE THE INSTANT HIS EYES ROLL BACK AND CLOSE
"He served his purpose as a soldier of the Empire" OWN WORDS THROWN BACK INTO HIS FACE LIKE A FUCKING PUNCH
The way Crosshair's words drop back down into a growl as he says "You could have saved him." is so good too.
The music as it all reaches its boiling point, as he sees the vulture's shadow, then Mayday's body, then the vulture itself just. Oh god. This episode is a masterpiece and I'm still not over it. I don't think I'll ever be over it.
Tumblr media
Like I still cannot BELIEVE we got this shot? The rock wings? I'm? Inconsolable?
Crosshair really probably thought he was going to die right there next to Mayday and honestly I think he was okay with it, in the worst way possible. Also him unconscious here is literally THE most relaxed I think we've ever seen his face.
But because this is only the start of Crosshair's Life Getting Much Much Worse he gets to live and wake up in a horrible science lab!
The sedative injection is much worse given the way that they torture him later.
"Cooperate and you might survive."
Literally one of the best episodes of anything I've ever seen I still cannot believe that we got it, truly. This episode is like 95% of the reason I have faith in the writers pulling through on the Tech Issue because I don't think anyone that gave Crosshair this episode arc would actually kill Tech off in such a stupid way on a completely pointless side quest.
I'm still on the rock wings and will be until further notice.

Satosugo playlist and brief song analysis 1/3
So I made a Satosugo playlist and here I wanted to give a brief explanation for some of my favorite songs on it that I haven't really seen anywhere also in relation to them. Analysis is under the cut.
Are you still listening by Abbie Bosworth
I’m starting with what I think is the most heart wrenching song on this playlist. I imagine this song from Gojo’s (for y'alls info my computer keeps trying to correct ‘Gojo’s' ' to ‘God’s' ' and i find that very funny) perspective after everything that goes down in s2.
“I wish I could've buried you and laid down right beside
Your life stained my clothes
Oh, to hold you, I didn't mind”
“And you're not what you say you are
But you know that better than me”
“Your life stained my clothes” is just absolutely devastating and I find that it really resonates here.
Hyacinthus by Aidoneus
I have two Aidoneus songs on this playlist, one I imagine is from Gojo’s perspective and the other from Geto’s. This is the Gojo one.
“Wish I had taken just one second more to memorize your frame
If I’m being honest, I’d do anything to see you
Maybe in another life the universe will let me keep you
Was there nothing I could do?”
“For so long we’d withdrawn from mortality but
I had loved you because you were nothing like me”
The wondering what he could have done, how their power led to them withdrawing from mortality in a way *chef’s kiss*
Devourer by Aidoneus
And here’s the Geto Aidoneus song. I think this song really aligns with Geto at the end the JJK 0 with all of his anger, grief, and bitterness.
“Grief has made me blind
Cruel, quick, hungry
Who could blame? For I had held
The sunlight in my arms”
“I, a curse, a plague on the Earth
Human in the end”
“Light the gloam, find my Achilles heel
I will welcome my mortality
Let me go”
I chose three quotes for this one because they’re all just so good and poignant.
Classic j dies and goes to hell p.1 by Glass Beach
This is one of my all time favorite songs and while I think it can work from either perspective it really resonates with Gojo’s perspective in the immediate aftermath of Geto leaving.
“How could I ever sleep at night?
When you left, you left me paralyzed
Tryna keep my head above the waves
Holding out for brighter, better days”
“And I will always be your friend
So grab my hand
Take my hand, I can't do this alone”
Two slow dancers by Mitski
Mitski never fails to bring some emotional devastation. In this case I interpret this song as their reminiscing of their highschool days.
“It would be a hundred times easier
If we were young again”
“And the ground has been slowly pulling us back down
You see it on both our skin
We get a few years and then it wants us back”
Human After All by Dirt Poor Robins
This song relates to the pressure both of them were put under as the strongest and how all that weight in part led to the shitstorm that happened, especially for Geto and the depression he experienced.
“We’d cross the rope, but our balance is a joke
We're human after all, still there's no excuse to fall”
“This mortal will, more rust than flesh
Turned by the creeping bitterness”
“We were the cause, we are at fault
We cannot draw from empty vaults
With vacant hands, we're left to ponder”
I'll be posting the rest soon but I felt it was getting a bit long! Hope ya'll enjoyed!

I'll never understand E/riels... If I was one I would've NEVER talked about that fkn necklace let alone draw Elain in every art with it! like didn't y'all read the part where Azriel called it a mistake and said if he kissed her, he would've regretted it and ABOVE ALL OF THIS AND MOST IMPORTANT PART... Elain gave it back! she doesn't have that necklace... SHE was the one who gave it back, willingly! and yet every time I come across an E/riel art on Pinterest I see her wearing the Necklace...
this alone should proved to us that not one E/riel cares about Elain wants and needs for one second... or canon for the matter of fact...
ps: I saw this one post that they gathered these lines when sjm mmcs are talking about how the fmc brings them to their knees and all of them are about love and devotion but E/riel one is about lust (like this line alone should prove to them how E/riel will never happen but they grasp everything they can and call us out with the exact same thing, that's hypocrite!)... and one of comments had me rolling saying "That's why E/riels lOvE the cAnOn so much awwwwww" LMAO as if y'all weren't the ones 2 years ago commenting on Gwynriel posts how you wanted Elain instead of Gwyn in their scenes 💀😭
The necklace that she returned almost immediately and Truth-Teller. Two things Azriel has given her that she returned.
Truth-Teller is especially hilarious to me because there is always something revealed when it’s on the page. Somehow Feyre asking about whether the cauldron is wrong is more important than the manner Elain gave back the knife as foreshadowing.
“Azriel didn’t expect her to keep it!” “Azriel just lent it to her!”
Well, he sure as hell didn’t ask for it back. Elain made sure she pressed it back to him before he could get a word in and walked away.
The mental gymnastics could have given Simone Biles a run for her money. They spent too much time nitpicking canon that directly argues against whatever arguments they have, and they don't even have a quote to show that Azriel looks at Elain with any sort of yearning or longing. Az's BC is Schrödinger's canon because it's both important and not important to the story.
SJM won't confirm his mate in a bonus chapter, but somehow it's valid to prove that Azriel was pining over Elain, not Mor by the fire?
I said it before and I’ll say it over and over again. For a group who loves to claim that it’s Elain’s choice, Azriel had not once given Elain a choice, and the two times Elain did put herself out there, Azriel had shut her down both times.
My telltale sign that a theory is made by an Elriel is when they emphasize that Elain will make a choice when it comes to her book, and it'll be Az vs Lucien. She'll make a choice, but it's not as shallow as which boy she wants to be with. It'll be whether to stay where she does not belong or take a leap of fate and leave. Because that's what Feyre, Lucien, and Nesta all faced.
The only person who has given her a choice has been her own mate.

A good soldier
Chapter 2
Chapter 1 and Chapter 3
🐟 Synopsis: You get to meet some other members of Team Phoenix in person but the tension between you and Quaritch still doesn't seem to be gone.
🐟 characters: Quaritch Recom, Walker Recom, Waynfleet and Zdinarsk Recom (🥳)
🐟themes: same as the last chapter. A bit of cursing, roughing around but nothing serious.
🐠Note: heyyyy. Thanks for all the likes in the last chapter ! Didn't expect that (。・ω・。)ノ♡ so I just followed the formula of the first one and wrote all fo this in the middle of two night. Ahahah hope you like it. Feel free to suggest any more themes or ideas ! Love y'all 💙
Tumblr media
Sorry that's it's so short btw
Enjoy this awesome edit I found on insta which motivated me to continue 😁
Tagging: @babyduk213 💙
"This is Lyle Wainfleet, my second in command. "
You nodd in the general direction of the multiple blue recom soldiers that entered the room after Quaritch. Of course you had read their files and overseen their medical transitions, but seeing them in action and so alive was something quite different.
After the tall and smiling Navi Soldier squeezed through the small door frame, two barely clothed female ones follow him on foot.
"And these two beauties are Walker and Zdinarsk. One lethal with a grenade launcher and the other just with her mouth." Quaritch grinned as he introduces the last two and closed the door behind them. "They'll be holding my hand, while you, little scientist do your beloved tests. If it doesn't bother you of course. "
"Glad to finally meet you" you note "but I believed we would be doing the tests alone. It's quite fragile equipment I've got here anyway."
"And we too have quite fragile equipment" Lyle laughed out loud, "no need to worry about us little one, we just need to give the boss a few quick updates on the Sully situation."
" Still y/n for you Waynfleet. I suppose if you keep this quick we can arrange something." you say judgingly looking up and down the two woman. They both make themselves quite comfortable around Quaritch, nagging him with their tails and playfully hissing.
It was definitely no sting of jealousy you were feeling, that would be embarrassing just after a few days of knowing him. But at last he was one of your textbook idols, come to life again. Not yet as impressive as you made him out to be but still quite fascinating. And at last, your hero.
"Now you got my poor little scientist all railed up Lyle. She's on our side don't forget that, even if you have a hard time remembering sides." Quaritch quickly shifted his attention towards his team and let you start your testing.
While they were talking about ground locations and basic intel you took various samples of both his blood and hair.
While he didn't seem bothered by the tests at all you could see his tail twitching every time you got closer to him. His eyes were pinned onto Waynfleet while he was talking but just out of the corner of your eye you could see his cat like ears turning your direction wherever you went. Almost lost in the mesmerising patterns on his body only a slap on the head brought you back to reality.
" And why the hell should we trust her boss. She's like that Valentine woman back from base. We shouldn't be talking about our intel right in front of her anyway." scoffed the women named Walker while inspecting you from head to toe and showing her exceptionally long teeth.
"She ain't got no other choice Walker. And y/n knows that I'll be her worst nightmare if any of this information leaves our little group, isn't that right." Quaritch menacingly answered as he waved Walker away with his hands and pulling you even closer to him. "Do you understand?"
With a loud metal clunk your tablet fell to the ground while Quaritch face was only a few millimeters away from yours. Again you thought, but this time you weren't planning on being humiliated in front of his other teammates. At last you were supposed to be part of the team. As you knew their body and anatomy, probably better then they did themselves, you just needed one good pull to gain your freedom again.
"Damn that little scientist has claws." laughed the last woman Zdinarsk who up until now, hadn't really spoken at all.
"Lt. Quaritch, Sir , we are all members of this operation here and you shouldn't be questioning any of our loyaltys under any circumstances." you say while picking up your tablet hoping to regain at least a bit of dignity.
You quickly brush past him, as we was still frozen in his place holding his Braid with both of his hands.
"It was a pleasure working with you soldiers but I really must be going now."

Y/N hummed to herself as she bustled around her kitchen.
She and Matt had been on several more dates over the past month that they had known each other -- attending a special performance of the NY Symphony in Central Park, taking in a poetry reading at a local bookstore, and having a quick breakfast together at one of the local diners before Matt had to go to work. After a particularly harrowing week for both of them -- Matt having just wrapped up a long and frustrating case and Y/N having had several deadlines on projects for different clients, one of whom was being difficult -- she had suggested that Matt come over for dinner and a quiet night in, to which he had readily agreed.
She set the squash casserole she had made into the oven to bake and set the timer, then moved to her refrigerator to check on dessert. She knew that Matt liked cheesecake, so she had modified a no-bake recipe she had found online.
Luckily it appeared to be set, so she left it alone and proceeded to load the dishes she had used to mix her casserole together into the dishwasher.
She had just finished when there was a knock on her door. "Just a second!" she called out.
She wiped her hands on a dishtowel and walked to the front door. "Hey, Matt," she greeted as she opened it. "Come on in."
Matt stepped over the threshold and gave her a warm hug. "Hi, Y/N."
Y/N lingered in his embrace, tucking her face into his neck. After a few moments she stepped back and took his hand. "Here, let me give you the tour. You can leave your cane by the door if you want."
She had learned that Matt wasn't totally blind but instead saw 'a world on fire', as he had described it, and therefore was able to get acclimated to new surroundings fairly easily as long as he was able to figure out the layout of whatever space he was in. "Right here on the right is the bathroom, and down the hall here on the left is the living room. Kitchen and dining area are straight across from it to the right, and if you keep going straight you'll hit the staircase going upstairs to the 3rd floor, which are the bedrooms and my office."
Matt nodded. "Got it."
She led him into the living room. "Dinner should be ready in just a few minutes. Would you like something to drink while we wait? I've got beer, wine, water, juice, soda…"
Matt nodded. "Water is fine. Thanks."
"Okay. If you want to have a seat I'll go get it. You're right on the side of the sofa, just mind the coffee table."
Y/N walked into the kitchen and checked on the casserole, taking the aluminum foil off of the pan and switching the oven to broil to brown the top before grabbing two bottles of water from her refrigerator.
Matt looked over in her direction as she walked back into the living room. "Dinner smells amazing," he said with a smile.
"Thanks." Y/N handed Matt one of the bottles of water as she sat next to him on the sofa. "So, how was your week?"
"Long, but I'm glad we wrapped that case up. How was yours?"
"Same. Had a particularly difficult copywriting client, but I finally managed to finish up the project I was doing for them to their satisfaction." Y/N shrugged. "Won't be doing another one though, even if they asked me to."
She took a sip of her water. "So do you have to go to court often?"
Matt shook his head. "No, not unless we're working a criminal case or if civil negotiations break down, which really doesn't happen all that often. Most of the time people are happy to avoid having to go to trial, which is why all those big corporations are always so eager to settle."
Y/N nodded in understanding. "Congrats on the win, by the way."
"Thanks."
Y/N's oven timer beeped. "That'll be dinner."
Matt followed her into the kitchen. "Need help with anything?"
"Um, yeah, actually. The drawer right in front of you is where I keep my utensils. Can you grab a couple of forks then get the bottle of wine I have breathing on the counter behind you and to the right?"
Matt nodded. "Sure."
Y/N fixed them each a serving then set their plates down on the table and poured them each a glass of wine. "I'm glad we're getting to do this," she admitted as Matt sat across from her. "I've missed seeing you this week."
A broad smile spread on Matt's face. "I've missed you too."
They each took a bite of their food. "Wow, this is excellent," Matt said.
"It was my mom's recipe," Y/N explained. "I was a bit of a picky eater as a young kid, so it was her way of sneaking vegetables into my diet until I started eating them on their own."
She laughed. "Imagine my surprise when I found out that my mom's 'baked rice dressing' frequently had squash or broccoli in it, or was made with cauliflower instead of rice altogether."
Matt grinned. "That's actually pretty clever."
They continued talking about their respective weeks while they ate, Matt filling Y/N in on the specifics he could share about his case and Y/N telling him more about the client from Hell.
"They wanted me to ghostwrite an article for a magazine publication," she explained as they finished eating, "which I usually just charge a flat rate for since something like that normally only takes me an hour or so, but they just gave me a broad topic to write about then proceeded to reject every version of the article I submitted because it 'wasn't what they asked for'."
She shook her head. "I finally asked them what it was exactly that they wanted, which turned out to be nowhere even near the original topic they gave me."
Matt grimaced. "Geez, I'm sorry about that."
"Yeah, and that's exactly why I won't be doing another job for them again." Y/N stood. "Anyway, enough about that. I made a no-bake cheesecake for dessert, so let me take care of these dishes and I'll get us each a piece."
Matt stood as well. "Here, I can help with those."
Y/N shook her head. "Oh, no, I've got them. I'm just putting them in the dishwasher. You can get the cheesecake out of the refrigerator and pour us another glass of wine though if you want. I have some Riesling in the door on the second shelf."
Matt nodded. "Okay."
Y/N set the plates in the dishwasher and gave their wine glasses a quick rinse while Matt got the wine and cheesecake out and set them on Y/N's kitchen island.
Y/N set the wine glasses in front of Matt before cutting them each a slice of cheesecake. "I was thinking that we could take these into the living room if you want."
Matt nodded. "Yeah, that sounds great. I'll bring the wine, you grab the cheesecake?"
"Yeah, sounds good."
Y/N led him back to the living room and set the plates down before walking over to her record player. "How about some music?"
Matt set the wine bottle and glasses down on the coffee table and picked up one of the slices of cheesecake. "That sounds nice."
Y/N selected a record and put it on to softly play in the background.
Matt tilted his head. "What is that? It sounds vaguely familiar."
"It's the soundtrack to the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice ," Y/N replied as she took a seat next to Matt.
Matt nodded. "I think Foggy had that movie playing one day while I was over there. He was trying to impress this librarian who was a huge Jane Austen fan so he read all of her books, then watched every film adaptation he could get his hands on so he could actually understand them."
Y/N laughed. "Let me guess… that didn't work."
Matt shook his head with a grin. "He wound up even more confused than ever and just gave up."
"Aww. So he never asked her out?"
"Oh no, he did. They went on a couple of dates but ultimately decided it wasn't going to work. I think she actually wound up moving to England or something shortly after."
He grinned. "That wasn't the first time he'd done something like that to impress a girl though. He took Punjabi in college because the girl he was crushing on was also in the class."
Y/N laughed. "Have you ever done anything like that?"
Matt shook his head. "It's never really been necessary. Being blind has its own set of perks."
Y/N laughed. "Like what, getting to ask women to help you cross the street?"
"Things like that, or getting close so they can describe things to me like I'm also hard of hearing." A small smirk appeared on Matt's face. "Or having them hold my arm to guide me while I'm walking them home."
Y/N grinned and shook her head. "Smooth, Murdock. Real smooth."
"It worked, didn't it?"
Y/N chuckled. "Yeah, I guess it did."
"Well, then." Matt took a bite of his cheesecake. "Oh, wow."
Y/N couldn't help but smile. "Is that a good 'wow' or a bad 'wow'? Because I hear that New Yorkers are serious about both their pizza and their cheesecake."
"Definitely a good wow." Matt took another bite. "Mmm."
Y/N took a bite of her own piece. It had definitely been a good idea to cut back on the sugar and substitute actual vanilla bean rather than use vanilla extract as the recipe had called for. "I kind of tweaked the recipe, so I wasn't 100% sure it was going to turn out okay. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have experimented since I was planning on actually serving it to someone, especially someone I actually like ."
"So…" Matt said, a small smirk appearing on his face. "You do like me."
Y/N laughed lightly even as her face heated. "Of course I like you, you dork. I wouldn't agree to keep seeing you if I didn't."
Matt grinned. "Good, because I like you too."
He paused. "This is probably going to sound really strange, but can I feel your face? It helps me more accurately picture what you look like."
"Oh, uh, yeah, sure." Y/N turned to face him. "What do you need me to do?"
"Just hold still and let me know if I'm making you feel uncomfortable. I have to get pretty close to you." Matt scooted closer and tentatively reached out towards her. "May I?"
Y/N nodded. "Yeah, go ahead."
Matt began with her forehead, trailing his fingertips over her hairline, then feeling his way down her temples and along her jawline.
Y/N couldn't help but wonder if Matt would be as gentle tracing other parts of her. Heat flooded through her. Chill out, Y/N.
Matt paused, his head tilting to the side. "You're blushing. Everything okay?"
"Yeah," Y/N reassured him. "You can keep going."
"You sure?"
"Mmhmm. Yeah, I'm sure."
Matt continued mapping Y/N's face, swiping his thumbs across her cheeks, on the sides of and down the bridge of her nose, and eventually across her lips.
"You're beautiful," he breathed.
Y/N's face heated. "You know that just from tracing the contours of my face?"
Matt shook his head with a laugh. "I know this sounds like a line but I already knew it. This just helped me fill in the blanks."
Y/N's face heated again. "And how did you know that?"
Matt looked adorably embarrassed. "The day you came into the office to return my coat… After you left I might have asked Foggy to describe what you look like."
Y/N grinned. "Wanted to know if you needed to make an excuse to cancel?"
Matt chuckled and shook his head again. "To me physical appearance is the least important trait in a woman -- for obvious reasons -- but Foggy said you were 'hot' so I have to admit I was curious."
"How do you know he didn't lie about what I look like?" Y/N laughed to herself and shook her head. "Oh wait, that's right. You're a good lawyer."
Matt grinned. "Now you've got it."
Y/N bit her lip. "Can I try something now? There's something I've been curious about."
Matt nodded. "Sure."
Y/N reached up and gently carded her fingers through the hair at Matt's temples, then grasped the sides of his glasses.
She paused, waiting to see if Matt would stop her, but when he didn't she removed his glasses from his face, revealing his chocolate brown eyes to her for the first time.
She sucked in a breath. "Your eyes are beautiful. Why do you hide them?"
Matt turned his head away. "The unfocused staring thing tends to freak people out."
"Not me."
Matt's brow furrowed as he turned his attention back to her. "It doesn't bother you?"
Y/N shook her head and smoothed Matt's eyebrows with her thumbs, keeping his gaze on her. "You never have to hide your eyes from me, Matt."
Matt's face filled with emotion. "Y/N…"
Y/N took a deep breath. "Can I… can I try something else?"
Matt nodded. "Anything ."
Y/N slid her hands down his face, cupping his cheeks in her palms before gently pressing her lips to his.
She leaned back slightly, Matt's breath still ghosting on her lips. "I've been wanting to do that since the first time you dropped me off at my doorstep," she confessed softly.
"Me too," Matt whispered in reply. "I'd like to do it again, if you don't mind."
Y/N's heart fluttered. "Please."
Matt guided her lips back to his, kissing her more firmly.
Y/N melted into him, reaching up and tangling her fingers into his hair while his hands slid down to her waist. They kissed unhurriedly, taking their time exploring each other's mouths, eventually slowing the kiss down until they were barely pressing their lips together.
Matt nuzzled Y/N's nose with his and gave her one final kiss before leaning back.
Y/N let out a content sigh. "Wow."
Matt huffed out a laugh. "My thoughts exactly."
Y/N ran her fingers through Matt's hair, trying to fix it. "Sorry, I messed up your hair."
Matt shrugged. "It's okay, sweetheart. I don't mind."
Y/N grinned. "Sweetheart?"
Matt blushed. "Sorry, that just came out."
"No, it's okay, I don't mind. I like it."
Matt smiled. "So 'sweetheart' is an acceptable term of endearment?"
Y/N nodded. "Definitely."
She took a deep breath. "Actually, you can pretty much call me anything you want, just please don't call me 'babe'. It's what Colin used to call me and it still makes my skin crawl."
Matt nodded in understanding. "Got it. What about 'baby' though?"
Y/N shrugged. "Yeah, that one's alright."
"'Honey'?"
"Yep, that one's good too."
Matt grinned. "'Pookie'?"
Y/N laughed at Matt's teasing tone. "Ok, that's stretching it a bit."
Matt took her hand in his, his expression once again becoming more serious. "What about 'my girlfriend'? Can I call you that?"
Y/N's heart fluttered. They hadn't been dating very long, but she definitely felt the spark between them and could see herself with Matt long-term. "Yeah, I think that's acceptable… As long as I can call you 'my boyfriend'."
Matt nodded, a beautiful smile on his handsome face. "Yeah, I'd like that a lot, actually."
Y/N's wall clock chimed with the time.
Matt sighed. "I should get going though. It's getting late."
Y/N nodded. "Okay, let me walk you out."
She picked up Matt's glasses and handed them to him. "Here are your glasses back."
"Thanks."
They both stood and headed over to the front door.
Matt put his glasses on and picked up his cane, then cupped Y/N's cheek in his hand and gave her a slow, sweet kiss. "I'll call you when I get home?"
Y/N nodded, butterflies flitting around her stomach in the best possible way. "Okay."
"Good night, sweetheart."
Y/N smiled. "Good night, Matt."
She waited until he had gotten down the steps, smiling as she shut and locked the door behind him.
I could definitely get used to this.
