Enjoy a snippet from my 'Everyone is gay for Tommy Kinard fic' for 9-1-1 rare pair bingo ft. the pre-118 118.

Tommy tried to act normal. Bobby hadn't said anything about the transfer yet and the secrecy between Sal and Chimney had continued. He had to ignore his chest tightening every time he saw them together. Hen tried to get it out of him but couldn't. Seemed kinda redundant. Until one day, he got called into Bobby's office.

He thought it was about the transfer but Chimney and Sal's guilty faces greeted him when he entered the office. He almost turned right back around but Bobby clearing his throat stopped him in his tracks.

"Tommy, great. Can you sit down please?" Bobby gestured to the chair in front of him.

Tommy silently moved to the chair in front of his captain, refusing to even look at the other two men.

"We were just discussing your transfer right now and the circumstances that led to it."

"I told you not to tell them-" He gritted his teeth.

"Tommy, just listen." Bobby interrupted him. "Howard, Sal, would you mind explaining what were you talking about behind Tommy's back?"

Curiosity got the better of him and he ended up facing the two men who were…blushing?

"We were, uh. We were just talking about how, uh, Tommy recently came out. And uh, how nice that was-"

"Stop blubbering Han. We were talking about which one of us would get to, y'know, take Tommy to bed."

A beat of silence followed.

"Excuse me?"

"Come on Tommy. Like, you're buff, you're hot and you're an adorable geek about rom-coms. I mean who wouldn't wanna have sex with you."

Tommy was speechless. He opened and closed his mouth several times. "You two are unreal. I'm out."

"Tommy, calm down." Bobby held his hands out. "Now that the misunderstanding is out of the way, are we good now?"

"Good now? Good now! These fuckers practically gave me an anxiety disorder these past few weeks."

"So what do you do want to do now? Might I suggest a punishment of sorts?"

"Yes Bobby, you are so right. Maybe I'll just find some hot guy with a big dick and make him fuck me. Yes, I'll record it and then I'll make both of you fucking watch it."

"Maybe I can help?" Bobby spoke meekly. Silence. Three heads slowly turned towards the older man, whose face was red. "Why are you all looking at me like that? You basically listed off the reasons why Tommy's hot."

"No reason Cap, just didn't think that's what you're interested in." He thought for a few seconds. "I'll do it."

Which immediately resulted in protests from both men.

"Aren't you straight?!"

"Shut up. Yes Bobby. I'd like that."

"But-"

A stern look from Tommy was enough to shut both of them up.

"I can sign off on a few off-days for us." Bobby said way too eagerly.

One Piece of Jewellery that you can't go anywhere without: Does my watch count? (Patriarchy for the win) That and my bracelet that my sister gifted me. (I hope the person that stole one of those steps of legos all their life and has a tiny rock in their shoe that makes then just uncomfortable.)

Most worn shoes: All of them? I don't really get new shoes unless the ones i have are disrespectably beyond repair.

New Book/Fic that has you in its grip: I'm reading 1984 because I bought it from a cartseller for dirt cheap.

One drink you can't go without: Lemonade. A super sour one, like drinking it makes my jaw hurt but goddamn I can't stop. Although I am trying to drink more water nowadays.

A piece of media you have been wanting to watch for ages but haven't: Like how much time do we have? Cuz I have a list. The most recent tho is Moonlight.

Latest character to enter Brainrot Mode: Bobby Nash, considering I made an entire alternate universe where a character named Zane Ortega is the one he falls in love with and is the reason he survives that deadly virus because Zane is a microbiologist who was coincidentally working on a very unique vector that could multiply and produce proteins faster than any other.

most recent kitchen fails: I just tried making "bacon" with king trumpet mushrooms and forgot to set a timer, so more than half of the pieces burned. Devastating. But the not burned ones were great. I also forgot to boil my tofu in salt water, so I had to quick press it and didn't love how it fried.

a piece of media you have been wanting to watch for ages but never got the time to: at this point that's a long list, but I'm going to go with Abbott Elementary. I've heard really great things about it, I just haven't gotten around to watching it.

The irony of this new breed of self-righteous AI hunters on AO3 is that they're all just copy and pasting peoples fics into AI detectors, which are all operated by AI and therefore THEY are feeding people's work into the algorithm without their consent and in some cases no doubt circumventing the locks people put on to avoid getting scraped...

Don't copy and paste anyone's AO3 work into third party websites, you're not the good guys in this situation?
