I know, some other writers already used this special situation to write some stuff for us, so we're not going completely crazy by our boredom.

And yes, I wrote something about this too, this here is my own version of all these coronavirus-quarantaine-caused writings out there ^^°.

I hope, y'all not already sick of it... I know, the "Corona-Topic" is literally everywhere and at some point, you just can't listen to anything, that is related to that theme anymore! (Even when it's really important!)

But like all writers here, I just try to "make the best out of this horrible pandemic" and help you, to get through your quarantaine in the best way.

And when you (or someone of your friends, your family or your relatives) are not in quarantaine and you/they have to go to work, because they're a doctor, a nurse, a pharmacist, a scientist, a police officer, part of the military, an employee of a supermarket/drugstore, a factory worker, a truck driver, a farmer etc, you deserve my biggest respect, really! (And to be honest from the whole world population!)

They try to fight the virus itself or their Job count to the sensitive infrastructure of your country, that's why they all try their best to keep the health care system/the minimum of infrastructure in their country going! All these peoples are amazing and they should know that!

I know, especially in this crisis just a little "thank you" can't help them. All of them need to get paid a lot better for their job and they need suitable protective clothing, masks, sanitizer and so much more. In particular these peoples that have to work directly with infected patients like doctors, paramedics or nurses. 

They need these utensils to take care of infected patients properly (especially in risk groups!) and to protect themselfs as well! That's why I appeal to you, to donate medical face-masks or sanitizer that you or your family bought in an inordinate amount in of panic buying to your local hospital.

There is nothing wrong with having one or two face masks or a bottle sanitizer at home. But you don't need 10 bottles sanitizer or 50 face masks, when you simply stay at home!

Trust me, they'll need it so much more than you. We can't fight the virus when the medical staff themself get infected. All these peoples out there risk their own health, maybe even life for us! In some countries or regions they're already completely overworked and near to a (systematic and mental) break down.

When we could help them with literally doing nothing and staying at home, then please, please, please do it!

I'm not a doctor or a nurse, but I think when everybody follow their government's rules (or in general, the instructions of the WHO) and help the health care system of their country with simply staying at home, we're able to get through this pandemic somehow.

With each new day, the international infrastructure and thus also the economy gradually came to a standstill. Sometimes it feels like the earth has stopped spinning around the sun.

The whole further development of the epidemic, now pandemic, is still absolutely uncertain. Too little is the knowledge about this new virus and his behaviors. No one knows when an effective vaccine will exist.

So there is nothing else you can do but hope for the best and follow the rules of your own government and the instructions of the WHO. That means self-isolation and quarantine at home indefinitely.

That was nothing you had planned... actually you wanted to be in Seoul since three days and at that very moment you would lying tightly wrapped up with Jin in his bed.

Your visit in Seoul had been planned for months, everything was already perfectly organized and arranged, Jin even got a few days off! And now? Now you both are sitting far away from each other in your bedroom and only have the opportunity to do video calls with each other. Again.

The NiftyPlanet platform is a semi self-funded platform. Half of the funds for the development and platform launch were provided by a few pre-seed investors.

2 main Founders control 8% of all token supply (80M tokens).

Q1. Could you please introduce Nifty Planet to our community in layman’s term?

Ans — Yes. NiftyPlanet is a web.3.0 platform that built based on Ethereum blockchain. From the start it is place where users can buy NFTs from the famous people and original NiftyPlanet NFTs. In the future, our platform will be fully decentralized and be managed by a Foundation.

Q2. What are the advantages of Nifty Planet to other alternatives in the Blockchain field?

Ans — I would say that there are many differences between the NiftyPlanet and other NFT markets but 2 of them are the biggest to us. First of all we are preparing for any drop together with creators in advance. Including pricing, special mechanics, advertisement. That is why all NFTs have bigger values for the holders than NFTs from rest of the markets. Any creator have to pass Due Diligence process. But at the same time we are web.3.0 system it means that all the assets are under the user’s control.

Second biggest difference is that we plan to attract not just artists of creative people we plan to adopt NFT technology for many different industries and help to join crypto spase different companies and independent people. And our customization can help to make it easier for them and increase the value for their products (NFTs) for everybody.

Q3. What are the major milestones Nifty Planet achieved so far & what are in the future pipeline?

Ans — First of all, we created an Ambassador program and have already gained three Ambassadors to work with us. We have also started our first drop and already sold the majority of those NFT’s. Additionally, we have already built a solid team of more than 10 international team members. And we have our own system that was created by our own engineers based on proven smart contract technology. We have already contracted with a few famous artists to launch NFT drops on our platform starting next month, and we are also in negotiations with at least 10 more international creators.

We plan to be leaders in offering hybrid NFT’s by merging physical and digital offerings on our platform. We already have many offers from international creators and businesses that wish to use our platform to sell physical items as NFTs. Ans — At the moment, for us, Community is the most important of these three. Of course, we welcome more investors ;) but Since we have the technology, a plan, and a growing list of creators excited to create unique and useful NFT’s together with us, what we need next is more people to share it all with, and to benefit with us as we create opportunities for everyone that gets involved with us. Q3. Telling about real world adoption. Most of the user are still not aware about Blockchainchain and Blockchainchain related products. So, how Your project can raise awareness about their project with non-crypto users too?

Ans — You are exactly right. For the first time in maybe thousands of years, we "common" people have a chance to take back our freedoms from the "Mis-Leaders" and Elite classes, and create wealth without worry of being extorted by overreaching governments. So this is one of our big goals. We want to help more and more people become involved in blockchain and cryptocurrency and understand its implications and usefulness. By selecting our initial creators carefully by hand, we can select artists and creators and influencers that also are in line with our goals to wake more people up to the freedom, opportunities and benefits of blockchain, and are willing to reach out to their vast numbers of fans, most of whom are not aware of blockchain, and invite them to become involved in it by learning and talking about and buying and selling the NFT’s created by those artists and influencers. And we as a platform will do everything we can to onboard those new members by providing a friendly and easy to use platform.

Q4. You plan to have an IDO (Initial Dex Offering) in Japan, China and Internationally. So,why did you focus first in Japan and China? Aside from this countries,which other country you plan to have an IDO? Can you share some details about your plan IDO of PlanetNifty?

Ans — The main reason is that we are big fans of Asia and have spent a lot of time in Asia living and working and playing. Thus we have a lot of friends and strategic partners that can, and want to help us grow both our business and our community organically and confidently. Not that he could afford a trip to the Bahamas. Or a plane. Or a parfait for that matter. More importantly, if Gintoki would distant himself from the company, he wouldn't be able to help Kagura in achieving her dreams as an idol. He was his manager after all.

When the Yorozuya Entertainment was founded, it was difficult to just get by. It took time to find idols, it took time to make music. There wasn't a possibility to hire more people and that was the exact reason Gintoki decided to become the manager for the label's idols. Just for the time being anyway, he had said. To get things started you know, he had also added.

The voice of Shinpachi finally snapped Gintoki out of his trip down memory lane and the pressing worry of the massive loan he had taken for the company.

”A bill from the security firm – a bill from the equipments we bought for the concert – a bill from the fabrics...”

Shinpachi's words sounded all the same to Gintoki. Why am I so lousy with these things, Gintoki thought to himself.

”GINTOKI!” A loud shout came from the door, startling both Gintoki and Shinpachi momentarily.

At the door was non-other than Shimura Tae, the head of public relations of YE, the older sister of Shinpachi and the one keeping Gintoki's laziness in check. ”I need you to sign these papers right now,” she said with a ominiously calm smile.

Tae, who more commonly went by Otae was a sharp young woman. After moving to Seoul she had graduated from business school with impressive papers.

Otae was one of the first persons Gintoki wanted to hire, she was a ball of endless ideas with an unwavering drive to make them happen. There wasn't anyone who could have been a better fit for the head of PR than her.

She looked very similar to her little brother, aside from her brown hair and her not needing any glasses. She liked to wear a tight pencil skirts and a matching blouse. Today's colors were purple and white.

Otae had shoulder length hair, often worn in a neat ponytail. She had bangs to frame her petite face nicely. Also, she wasn't shy with accessories, usually sporting a tiny scarf around her neck with a matching color as the rest of her outfit.

”Hello ane-ue*!” Shinpachi said. The siblings were originally from Japan, so they liked to refer to each other in Japanese. Sometimes it was funny to observe when the two got into an argument and the language switched immediately back to home shore.

”Hello Shin-chan*, did you give Gintoki all the papers?” Otae asked and pushed a dark brown strand of hair behind her ear.

”Almost there”, Shinpachi chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck a little.

As the Shimuras chatted, Gintoki was halfway sliding down from his chair.

”Uh, Gintoki?” Otae asked.

A single call of his name froze Gintoki right up. Otae had a flair in her voice, soothing but chilling at the same time. A perfect voice for tortu-...uh...negotating with people.

”Yes, Otae?” Gintoki asked and magically sat up while casually fixing the sleeves from his shirt.

”Would you mind signing this?” Otae asked and tapped a piece of paper with her pen. ”It's a permission to-”

Gintoki raised his hand at Otae, who stopped talking out of surprise. It was rare for Gintoki to act all bossy and condescending towards employees, friends – towards anyone really.

”Me and Shinpachi here,” Gintoki said and began to fondle the documents on his desk. ”We're a little busy at the moment.”

Gintoki didn't have anything against the adamant woman, he just wasn't in the mood to handle another important matter. It was probably something urgent as it came from her.

Shinpachi glanced at his boss with wide eyes. All of a sudden Gintoki was very into the paperwork.

”Yes, thank you for taking things seriously for once,” Shinpachi said.

Gintoki looked at the young man standing next to him. ”But I always do.”

”No you don't.”

”Nope, not even little bit.”

Gintoki huffed. He knew they were right, but he also wanted to be the boss. ”I'll forgive you this time, okay?” he said. Both Shimuras nodded as they were trying to take him seriously and Gintoki took what he got.

”Alright Shinpachi, give me all the details,” Gintoki said and actually took one paper into his hands.

”Ah, wait,” Shinpachi said and searched the stack of papers he was holding. ”Just one more.”

Gintoki elevated one hand, ready to receive the last document. ”Take your time Shinpachi.”

”Hah! Here!” Shinpachi cheered and offered the paper to Gintoki. ”Here's the rent-”

Gintoki moved like a shadow the second he heard the word 'rent'. Before anyone could say another word, Gintoki had grabbed his gray jacket from his chair and suddenly stood next to Otae, carefully examining the permission note she tried to offer him a moment later.

”I'm in a meeting right now Shinpachi, take care of those for me”, Gintoki said and walked out of the office with Otae.

”Heeeyyy!” Shinpachi yelled after them, a vain effort that he pretty much new from the start. ”You can't run from the rent forever!”

It had been a busy week at the YE building. After the release of Kagura's first single, Eli & Zura and Sugar Addicts released their first singles as well. Otae's PR plan for the company was to come out to the k-pop scene with a bang. Three new artists debuting at once was a real bang to say the least.

On top of everything, the free outdoor concert was well on its way. Almost everything had been taken care of, but Gintoki was a ball of stress on every single little detail. Yes, he appeared that he didn't care or had any interest on the matter, but that was just his defence mechanism. Honestly, he felt a little overwhelmed by the paperwork and stuff like that, but he cared.

Luckily he had Otae and Shinpachi. They were a power house together - and separately. They took care of running errands, permissions, equipments, all of that. This way Gintoki could focus better on the idols or as he so endearingly called the 'moneymakers'.

Gintoki helped everyone to prepare with the best of his ability. He wasn't a singer or a dancer, but he was a long time fan on k-pop. Yes, he was a grown man in his late twenties, but that didn't stop him from enjoying the music.

Gintoki understood showmanship, he was good at looking at the big picture, but he needed help with all the separate parts to build the idols into a functioning package.

Sugar Addicts had a member called Tsuu, going by the stage name Otsu. She had been dancing for several years. She sort of became the unofficial choreographer of the group and pretty much a choreographer for the whole company.

Apart from Sugar Addicts, none of the other idols had any prior professional dancing experience. However with Gintoki and Otsu's help, the rest of the idols; Kagura and Zura & Eli were able to add enough movement for their performances to pop.

Kagura had the rhythm and she had the spark, but learning steps wasn't really her strong suit. Still, she was better in dancing than Eli & Zura, a duo consisting of Katsura ”Zura” Kotarou and Elizabeth ”Eli” Dragonia.

Zura was a peculiar rapper/singer and an old childhood friend of Gintoki's. He was...how to put this nicely...he was a total corky lovable weirdo. Zura did all the vocals for the duo and Eli, well Eli played a synthesizer*. He couldn't really participate with the vocals as the man was mute.

When Gintoki was trying to get Zura to join his label, he explained that all the music could be produced by computers, but Zura didn't really care. He had only one condition before signing any papers, Eli and him would form a duo together, no matter how weird it sounded to anyone.

Gintoki knew it was a risk, there wasn't anything like that in the k-pop scene, but Zura managed to convince Gintoki that they would become the next big thing, the k-pop version of Modern Talking*. It sounded too interesting for Gintoki to pass by, so he agreed to debut the duo.

It was still a mystery where Zura had found a mute man named Elizabeth, but they seemed to be inseperabtle friends despite it all.

After Kagura's demand on finding someone to help with the costumes for the idols, Gintoki found Tsukki. She was a talented stylist who never told anyone her full name, she just went by with Tsukki. She was a beautiful woman with blonde hair and sharp purpleish eyes. She also had a scar on her left eye , but no-one dared to ask anything about it.

Tsukki was a woman shrouded in mystery.

And what it came to making music, Gintoki was totally at loss. Luckily the company found a musical genius to work for them.

Kawakami Bansai, a graduate from Korean National University of Arts. He was a prodigy. The young man was courted by many big companies when he was close to graduating. His future promised great things for him, he could have worked for anyone in the entire music industry, that's how talented he was. But...after graduating, he simply vanished.

No-one ever knew why did he go or where did he go. Well, there was one person who knew why he disappeared, but that's a whole another story.

So how he ended up working in a new, rather unsure record label? Gintoki and Shinpachi didn't know Bansai or his background in music when they met him for the first time. The man was playing a shamisen* in a park, eyes hidden behind sunglasses, expression telling of his fondness for the instrument he was playing.

Gintoki liked his music and he asked if the man wanted a job. Bansai paused his song and looked into the silver-haired man's maroon eyes. There was nothing suspicious in the way the man looked at him. For some reason Bansai felt like trusting this man, thou he wasn't even sure what trust even meant anymore.

Only after Bansai signed his contract in Gintoki's office, he casually mentioned his degree in music. Gintoki practically and literally fell off his chair, how could he have known the man was a mastermind in music.

Otae suggested on upgrading his contract and salary, but Bansai refused. The only thing he desired was to make music without crazy expectations and no questions from his past. Gintoki and Otae both agreed to his terms, they would have been fools to decline.

And there it was, the group of people who together formed the Yorozuya Entertainment and Gintoki couldn't be any prouder.

In a nice cozy office/work space of Tsukki, a final fitting was well on its way. Kagura twirled in front of a mirror and admired her outfit for the concert.

”Well, what do you think Gura?” Tsukki asked.

Kagura had her long vermillion hair done with her signature look. Two small buns on top of her hair. It was like she had small round ears made from hair. The rest of the her puffy hair was flowing free, reaching all the way to her lower back.

The outfit Tsukki had sown for her was a perfect fit. Kagura had a red, off-shoulder shirt with long sleeves. Tsukki styled a high-wasted black cotton skirt to accentuate her small frame.

The skirt reached just over Kagura's knee, the length matching nicely with her black ankle boots. No heels was Kagura's only wish for Tsukki when the design for her outfit was being created.

”It's really pretty Tsukki, I love it,” Kagura said as she played with a black  velvet collar around her neck. It even had a cute golden heart in the middle.

Tsukuyo crossed her arms and smiled. ”I'm glad to hear that,” she said and walked to her desk.

It was hard to tell it was a desk from all the sewing equipments and drafts of clothing covering the whole thing. She really needed a bigger room to work in, Kagura thought, but she very well knew this was all they could afford at the moment.

”You were the last one to do a fitting, every costume is now done for the show.”

”You're very efficient, yes,” Kagura pointed out to the blonde woman wearing a black form-fitting suit, hair cut into a short bob to fit the look.

Tsukki hummed happily. ”It wasn't that big of a project, there's only eight idols to dress after all.”

”That's true,” Kagura said and returned to posing for the mirror.

Tsukki began to dig out some papers to deliver for Gintoki. Probably more bills to pay for the poor CEO.

”Tsukki?” Kagura asked and looked at the ever elegant woman through the mirror.

”Yes Gura?”

”Don't tell A-Gin...but I'm a little nervous about the concert.”

Tsukki lifted her gaze up. ”Why would you be nervous?”

”It's just that...the interview for the radio went well, but...”Kagura paused.

”But what?” Tsukki asked. She seemed to be seriously nervous. Sure, Tsukki hadn't known Kagura for a very long time, but the girl was like an open book when it came down to reading her emotions. She was one of the most confident and robust personalities Tsukki had ever seen, so seeing her falter worried her.

”You can talk to me,” Tsukki said and connected eyes with Kagura through the mirror.

”Well...this is the first time I'm performing live and...what if I screw it all up...”

Tsukki abandoned her papers and walked straight to Kagura. She placed her hands on her bare shoulders. ”Listen to me Gura”, Tsukki said in a really empowering voice. ”Look at the mirror.”

Kagura did as Tsukki said, and looked at her reflection. She sure looked like an idol...it felt almost surreal. ”What do you see?” Tsukki asked her.

”I see...me and you.”

”Yes, that's true. What else?”

”I see...your pretty clothes, yes.”

Tsukki shook her head a little. ”Those are not my clothes anymore, they're yours to wear, yours to feel confident in.”

”O-okay...” Kagura answered unsurely.

”You don't have anything to worry about Gura, you know you were born to command a stage.”

A smile sneaked on Kagura's pink lips. ”Uh-huh...”

”Just be yourself and sing the crowd into a bliss, okay,” Tsukki said and squeezed Kagura's shoulders slightly before letting go.

Kagura turned to look at Tsukki as she returned to her desk to get back to work. ”Hey...” Kagura said.

”What is it now?” Tsukki asked. She didn't even spare a look at Kagura, but that didn't bother the young starlet. Tsukki was all about keeping up a tough exterior, rarely allowing many feelings out.

”Thanks for the pep talk,” Kagura said.

Tsukki glanced at the redhead. She had a pleased look on her face, but it lasted only for a second. She's a complete softie inside, Kagura giggled to herself.

A knock on the door drawed the attention of both women in the room. ”Come in,” Tsukki said.

It was Gintoki coming in. ”Ne, how are we doing in here?” he asked and rolled his shoulders a little.

Kagura cocked an eyebrow. Was the ever lazy Gintoki being nervous. A thought of something being seriously wrong immediately crossed her mind. It was the day of the oblivion when Sakata Gintoki would stress openly about something.

Suddenly Tsukki turned her face away from the door. "We're doing perfectly fine here Sakata-nim," she almost mumbled.

”Uh, great...” Gintoki said and gulped a little.

Kagura stared at Tsukki for a moment. Where did the ever calm Tsukki went, she wondered. ”A-Gin...can we talk a little?” Kagura asked and walked closer to Gintoki.

”Oh, Kagura...I didn't see you there,” Gintoki said.

”What?” Kagura almost laughed.

”I-I mean of course I saw you there, that's not what I meant jeez...”

”Let's go already, yes”, Kagura said pulled her foster-father towards the door.

Tsukki cleared her throat behind her desk and tried to get up quickly. ”Before you go-” Tsukki said before she bumped her knee on the wooden table. "Tsk!"

"Tsukki!" Kagura called.

Gintoki moved by instict as he rushed to check on Tsukki. He went to her side to see if he could help in any way. "Are you okay?"

"It's nothing," she hissed and turned to Gintoki, who was closer to her than she had expected for him to be.

Kagura watched in complete silence as the usually super serious stylist slithered away from her desk, with a flushed face. Her completely black suit just made her blush more apparent.

"I-I'm fine," Tsukki said and tried to compose herself. "Uh, there's some documents for you on my desk Sakata-nim."

Kagura noticed a sudden shift in Gintoki's behaviour.

”Ne, Tsukki...when will you drop those unnecessary last names and stuff like that,” Gintoki said and leaned his right arm's elbow against the wall. ”You can call me Gintoki.”

Tsukki rolled her eyes at the surprisingly suave boss. Kagura felt equally amused by him as Tsukki was agitated.

Without any warning Tsukki grabbed Gintoki by his open jacket, never breaking eye-contact with Gintoki. ”Listen Sakata-nim,” she said, face still adorably pink. This felt like the right time to take a step back for Kagura.

”I-it's Gintoki.”

”For gods sake, do you understand you are my boss? I don't want to raise any rumours by calling you anything else than Sakata-nim."

Gintoki opened and closed his mouth like a confused goldfish in its glass bowl.

"Do you understand?" she snapped and shook him a little.

Gintoki laughed nervously at the woman. ”Ahaha...I know, I'm...I'm just joking...haha...” he said and slowly quieted his laughter down.

Tsukki let the man go and pointed her finger at the documents she was talking about.

Kagura was waiting outside Tsukki's office. She had seen and heard just about everything and all of it tickled her funny bone. ”Let's go A-Gin!” Kagura shouted to draw his full attention.

”Ah, yes! We have to go now. Have a nice day Tsukki!” Gintoki said and shut the door behind him as fast as he could.

Gintoki exhaled deeply through his mouth. Kagura crossed her arms and waited for him to say something and to try to explain himself out of everything that just happened.

”Well...?”

”Well what Kagura? We should be going already?” Gintoki hissed a little. ”We need to go and check out the stage at the park and-”

”No no no...wait”, Kagura grinned at the man. ”Do you have anything to tell me...anything at all?”

Kagura was a young woman with a quick mind. She was excellent at picking up on things, not that anything about Gintoki's behaviour was hard to read. She had known him for most of her life after all.

Gintoki squinted his eyes at Kagura. ”What are you talking about brat?”

Kagura rolled her eyes. ”Well you obviously have the hots for Tsuk-” Kagura's statement was muffled out by Gintoki's hand blocking her mouth.

”Shhhhhhhhhh! Shhhhhhhh! Someone could hear you”, Gintoki whispered. He wasn't actually blushing...but there was a some kind of glow on his cheeks.

”Mmmffhghmmmmm!” Kagura tried to point out.

”What?”

Kagura pushed his hand off her mouth and frowned at him. ”You heard me.”

”I don't know what you're talking about”, Gintoki brushed her words right off. ”You kids nowadays think you know everything.”

Kagura was familiar with Gintoki's ways of handling difficult situation. He wasn't old, but he was an old(er) soul to say the least. He began to blame the youth when it was about remote controllers, computers or crushes.

”So are we going to the park now?” Kagura asked, graciously pretending she hadn't pointed out anything.

Gintoki smiled at her. ”Yes, we definitely are”, he said.

”Great, let me just change clothes,” Kagura said and pointed out her new outfit. ”I don't want anyone to see this yet.”

”Of course,” Gintoki said and walked Kagura to her dressing room.

Before closing the dressing room's door Kagura couldn't help but to tease Gintoki just a little bit more. "Oh, A-Gin!"

"Hmm?"

"I'm pretty sure she's into you too," Kagura said and vanished before Gintoki could do anything.

"H-hey!!!"

Kagura stopped teasing Gintoki about the Tsukki thing, he seemed to prefer not to talk about it. Maybe some other time he could confess his crsytal clear feelings, but now he had so much more on his mind.

When Gintoki and Kagura got to the company's car, Gintoki had a simple question for Kagura before they entered the vehicle.

”Can I ask you something Kagura?”

”Uh-huh, ask away.”

”The concert is only one week away”, Gintoki said to her, voice remaining as calm as he was talking about puppies. ”How do you feel about it?”

Kagura smiled. ”Well...I'm very excited.”

”Good...good.”

”Yeah.”

”You're almost a fully debuted idol.”

”I guess I am,” Kagura felt like Gintoki was tiptoeing about something and it annoyed her. ”Where are you getting with these questions A-Gin?”

”Kagura, you're like my daughter...do you really think I'm not worried about your well-being? This industry is very stressful.”

”Worried?”

”Yes, I feel like you're not telling me everything.”

Kagura knew what he meant. So he had seen her nervousness through her smile, she thought.

”I...I'm just afraid.”

Gintoki's eyes sharpened at her words. ”Afraid?”

”...I know how much effort you've put into me, this company and everything...”

”That's true...but what are you afraid of Kagura?” Gintoki asked.

Kagura could feel her eyes getting watery. This was one of her biggest fear and talking about it made it feel more real. ”Well what if I screw the show up or something else? I don't want to let you down and-”

Kagura's rambling quieted down as Gintoki pulled her into his arms.

”Silly girl...” Kagura listened to Gintoki's voice. It was deep and endearing. Also fatherly. It was just what she needed to hear.

”You could never let me down, no matter if things won't work out the way we planned.”

Kagura answered his hug by latching her fingers into his gray jacket. Even the stupid soft fabric felt comforting.

”I'm still going to work my ass of, yes”, Kagura said and sniffed quietly.

”I know that already Kagura..I know,” Gintoki said and patted the back of her head.

”Can we go to the park already A-Gin?” Kagura asked and tried to calm down her voice. She didn't want to cry over stupid things, she was too busy to do that.

”Yes, let's go then.”

Sweet Creature

Picking up the utility knife from the bed, you run it across the seam of the box, flattening the cardboard so you can break it down and place it in the pile. Opening another box, you begin to place Harry’s collection of loafers in your closet.

“Mumma! Someone at da door!” Grace bounds into your room, jumping up and down, her curls acting as little bungee cords hooked to her head. “Da door bell went ‘ding dong’!” Her head moves side to side demonstrating the noise the door made.

“Alright Bug, let’s go see who is here.” Leaving the box on the floor, you follow Grace out of the master bedroom and down the stairs.

“I wond-a who is here!” Grace takes each step with a jump, her feet making small thumps against the carpet. She lands on the wood floor and runs for the door, reaching for the knob.

“Wait for mum, Gracie.” You prompt. She pulls her hand back and bounces, trying to be as patient as possible. Moving your hand towards the door, you turn the knob, opening the big wooden entry.

“Hello! Wanna be my friend?” Grace asks the postman before he can even get a word past his lips.

“Hello, little one.” The nice older man chuckles at Grace’s request. “I would love to be your friend.” He smiles widely and Grace mimics his expression.

“Wanna see my new room? It’s pink!” Grace opens the door more, inviting the man inside.

“Oh! I wish I could come play, but I have packages to deliver. Just like this one.” He holds the package up in his hands, showing Grace the white box. “It is addressed to Elizabeth and Grace Styles.”

“Dat me!! Package for me!” Grace shakes her hips back and forth expressing her happiness in a happy dance.

“I see that it is from a Lorelei Williams.” He looks down at the sender's address. “Traveled a long way, all the way from America.” He smiles, holding the package out to you, giving you a clipboard so you can sign for the parcel.

“Dat my Sweet Cweature. She live far away. But I lob her.” Grace says, reaching up towards the package that looks like it is filled with fun.

“She sounds like a nice lady.” Taking the clipboard back from your hands, the postman tucks it in his satchel.

“Thank you so much!” You say, smiling as you release the package into Grace’s arms.

“Enjoy your package, friend.” The postman waves.

“Bye, friend!!” Grace hollers as she runs the package into the front room, her bare feet slapping against the wood flooring.

“Have a great day!” You smile and wave as the older gentleman makes his way towards his mail car, carrying on with his day. Closing the door you make your way into the family room, where Grace is grunting with all her might, trying to get the tape to release on the box. “Should we see if she is available before we open it?”

“FaceTime??” Grace’s mouth opens wide with the excitement of seeing one of her favorite people in the world.

“Yes. It’s about 9 in the morning at her house. I’m sure she is already at work. But we can try and see if she answers.” Pulling your phone out of your pocket you search for your godmother's contact, pushing the video button, the ‘boop boop boop’ begins to ring. Plopping yourself in the couch you pat the cushion signaling to Grace she has a slot next to you.

Pulling herself up on the couch, Grace drags the package across her lap, huffing and puffing from the hard work.

“She gonna ans-a?” Grace says, biting her lip nervously in anticipation for the phone call and package.

“I think so! Look it’s connecting!” You point towards the screen where the phone is starting to connect to another device on the other side of the world.

“Hello! My two favorite girls!” Lorelei’s face takes over the screen. Her smile brings an immediate warmth into your soul. Her eyes disappear when her smile is genuine and her face brightens the room just with this one expression.

“Sweet Cweature!!! I got a package!” Grace yells excitedly.

“You did? A package from who?” She asks.

“My Sweet Cweature!” Grace giggles at herself.

“Yes. What is this package for? There isn’t a holiday soon, is there?” You ask, recalling that just a couple weeks ago you received a Valentine’s Day package from your godmother, and she typically doesn’t send one for St. Patty’s Day.

“Just open it! There is a note. Read it first.” She instructs, smiling with glee that you are completely surprised.

“Alright then. Let’s see what’s inside.” Pinching the tape between your fingers, you pull it across the box, opening the parcel. Pulling out the envelope, you close the box so that the contents inside can stay hidden.

“Weed the note, Mumma!” Grace shouts, pumping her fist in the air.

“Okay. Hold your Sweet Creature please.” Handing your phone over to your four-year-old, you clear your throat before starting the novel that has been written. “There is a story that comes along with this package. Typically I only send one friend. But this time there are two. The mama panda is hugging her baby panda because they need each other so much. The baby is for Gracie, and the mama is for you.” A gasp is released as Grace reaches into the box, pulling out two stuffed pandas that are softer than anything you have ever felt.

“Grace always complains about how I never have a friend to cuddle with. But this time around I got a mama panda too.” Your eyes fill with tears as you read the words from a woman who you look at as your second mother.

“Sweet Cweature have a panda too?” Grace looks at the phone, watching her friend nod her head yes. “You hug your panda, it like you hug me!” Grace exclaims loudly. The smile that slides across her face is bigger than the space of land between your two homes.

“I felt that you both needed a new friend for your new home.” She smiles, holding back tears.

“Thank you, Mama.” You smile, knowing that’s all you can get out without sobbing, snuggling the soft panda against your chest.

“I name you PANDY!!!” Grace smiles, jumping up and down on the couch, holding her panda high in the air. “I go show Daddy!” Bouncing off the couch, her bare feet smack against the wood floor moving her quickly towards the office.

“I’m glad! That was my goal!” She smiles, her eyes almost nonexistent from the massive grin on her face. “Do I hear Harry?” Looking down the hall you can hear Harry tickling Grace as he brings her into the family room.

“Hello Lorelei! Sending us new friends?” Harry smiles as he comes behind you, ducking his head so he is in the FaceTime picture.

“Yes. I thought it was slightly funny the name they gave the panda on their tag.” She says.

Harry looks down at the panda in Grace’s hand and reads the tag. “Medium Harry Panda cub.” His laugh explodes through the air. “Grace says you have one; please keep the name it was born with. It’s an iconic name.” His cheeky smile expands on his face, causing all the adults to laugh.

“Mine name PANDY!!” Grace shouts.

“A perfect name for a panda!” Harry says to his daughter, tickling her stomach. “Although Harry is pretty original too.” He whispers towards the phone.

“Sent you a book, H. It’s a sad one. You’ll like it.” Lorelei says.

“Oh, I love a sad romance.” He smiles. “Thanks for the package. We miss you.”

“I miss you all so much.” She says, her eyes beginning to tear up again.

“It’s about time for a visit. I’ll have Lindsay get with you to set up a flight?” Harry nods.

“I’ll wait for her call! I love you all so much.” She says. “Need to get back to work. I’ll FaceTime later so you can meet Harry!”

“We would be honored.” You say, smiling at your godmother. “Love you lots, Mama!”

“Lob you butterfly much!” Grace shouts, blowing a kiss from her lips. “Go to sweet cweature,” she whispers, guiding the kiss toward her loved one.

“Butterfly much and so much more,” you say, puckering your lips, kissing the air. Waving goodbye the phone call ends. Grace jumps out of her daddy’s arms, excited to introduce Pandy to her other friends, while you make your way upstairs to finish making this new house into a home.

An Unorthodox Update

Hello, friends, Romans, country-core-people... mutuals...

I’d like to take a minute to address this blog and the direction it’s been going in.

First let’s look at our roots.

I started this blog in November of 2016, about a month after I started dating my boyfriend (CretaceousHero, go give him a follow guys) and it was originally an MCR blog titled Welcome-To-The-Savvy-Parade (yeah it hurts to read for me too but there were good intentions). Around that time somewhere maybe like 2015 I had started watching Dan and Phil and my posts gravitated towards them and Bands™️. After a while I think I slowly changed over to mostly Dan and Phil under UnorthodoxSavvy, which has become my main branding everywhere, starting on here (Twitch, Twitter when I had one, Discord, other messaging systems, Pokémon go, AC: PC) and I use the name “Savvy” which I also went by IRL for a while and still kind of do I just don’t talk to as many people anymore. From there I was often lumped in with Dan and Phil blogs even though I never had an official Dan and Phil branding. Throw in some superheroes and tv shows, etc. I was even a front-runner for Phandom Meetups when those were a thing. Commenting on YOUR photos brought me happiness.

At some point I decided to split my content into two blogs, this one and my side blog. Both have a certain theme that are almost polar opposites when you compare them, but they are both me. I’m currently thinking of changing that url by the way as the joke has kind of died out. My content over there has also changed recently.

Dan and Phil have been posting less and less, which is OKAY. Personally I think that Dan can go do whatever the hell he wants and doesn’t owe us anything BUT I know that I’m in a minority of thinking that way. Even other YouTubers have suggested that not keeping up with your audience and telling them if you are still a YouTuber or what-not is kind of unfair, so, no offense, but hearing it from another YouTuber’s perspective makes me more inclined to see that you guys maybe aren’t as unfounded as I would have originally thought.

Either way, it’s clear that there is less DnP content out there which means less content for all DnP blogs, which I feel like puts me even more away from being labeled a “Dan and Phil” blog. I’ve never wanted to limit myself to just them though.

Over the past year or so I’ve grown into focusing more on posting nature, plants, “aesthetic” images, more positivity, more positive LGBT+ stuff. I’ve tried to step back from the discourse but that hasn’t always been successful. I’ve tried my best to put negative things on my other blogs but honestly sometimes I need to post on here about how lonely I am where people can see it. I’ve taken YOUR suggestions and I’ve tried to post more informational and positivity posts about things I am not in support of others: Trans and other gender identities, autistic post, psychotic and other mental illnesses that aren’t as well recognized/more stigmatized, etc.

The feeling I wish to convey on this blog I guess is a sense of peace and purity with information and a non-nonsense tollerance of hatred with some positivity and jokes here and there. Does that make sense?

I guess what I’m trying to say through all of this is I don’t really know where this blog is headed right now. Some content you can expect to see if I keep up with the blog is Queer Eye, LGBTQ+ things, plants, animals, photography, art, information, etc. If anyone has any other suggestions please feel free to throw them out. Tell me what you do/don’t like.

I say if I keep up with this blog because right now Tumblr Mobile’s new notification system has pushed me towards turning off all of my notifications on my phone for this app. That means if I get an ask, if I get a message, I am not seeing it right away because even if I had them turned on it would be swept in with all of the likes, reblogs, and comments and buried. By nature I’m not being as active on this blog.

I would hate to throw away everything I’ve worked for on here and though it’s hard for me to believe I think some of you might actually miss me if I just threw it all away. I had a good 3 days last week of constant hate in my inbox and notifications so that was fun too. Whatever man.

If you don’t know our shop’s proceeds are going to raise money for his top surgery, as he’s getting older now and it’s more of an option and because dysphoria sucks. Destiny 2: First Impressions

The following is a breakdown of my first impressions of D2 following the reveal - both what I’m excited about, and what has me a little worried. Before I start, keep in mind that the limited content that has been shown so far is likely not the finished product. With months to go before the game releases, it’s very likely that changes will be made. If you’d like to see my notes from the reveal stream, please click here.

What has me excited

Exploration:

First, I am at this point far more excited about the PvE experience than I am about the Crucible. Of course, I am not a competitive player, but some of the suggestions made in the Bungie reveal have me salivating. 

One, larger world maps. Exploring in Destiny 1 has often felt to me like a bit of a chore .Some of the areas (particularly the Vault of Glass and maybe parts of the Dreadnaught) are beautiful and fascinating, so the promise of being able to dig deeper into environments and unlock secrets - presumably that have to do with the world at large - has me salivating. 

It’s no secret that I love the game lore, and one of the things I have always disliked about D1 is the necessity of experiencing the gameworld in two distinct ways: first, through what you see, and second, in the unattached Grimoire. Destiny 1 has beautiful environments that nevertheless sometimes make you feel as though you have to try to involve yourself in the world, rather than letting it happen organically. I’m excited at the prospect of this - hopefully - changing.

I’m also looking forward to more interactions with NPC’s. That includes both the simple act of talking to them, but more importantly, the potential of side quests that allow us to, again, learn more about the world and the people who inhabit it. One of my favorite parts of the original D2 “Rally the Troops” release trailer comes when we see a small child helping a Hunter from the rubble. This is an aspect that I felt was lacking in D1: a sense of where the Guardians truly fit in the world, a sense of empathy, and a feeling of connection to the environment aside from just looking around and saying “Wow, but so what?” If the Bungie reveal stream is to be believed, learning where we stand is a large part of the D2 campaign.

From the strike gameplay that has been released, those environments look gorgeous. We’ve only seen gameplay from Nessus (the new “Inverted Spire” strike) and Earth (the Crucible), but the teaser shots of Io and Titan showed in the reveal stream looked equally compelling. D1 communicated a sense of wonder, but it’s a palpable sense of discovery that I’m looking forward to most. Also, the prospect of in-game lore is very interesting, and I’ll be excited to see if and how they’ve achieved it.

Most importantly, I am both looking forward to and dreading the continuation of the Destiny story. Only after Taken King did I start to think that perhaps Bungie had really established a story worth telling and worth experiencing, and they did so at the expense of a mind-boggling number of loose ends. I don’t need or expect resolution from D2, but I do expect that they learn from D1 and fulfill some of the very, very wide-ranging promises that D1 started to make. I do enjoy putting together the puzzles contained within the Grimoire, but that is a different feeling from giving yourself up to a story, and I hope that D2 can provide us with both experiences.

Part of what has tempered my expectations about the D2 story has been what I view as the tightly wrapped-up storylines we saw over the last quarter: the end of Rezyl Azzir, SIVA and the Iron Lords; a part of me feels that some of the story was seen as too difficult or too convoluted based on rewrites, and was instead given a nice little bow so that writers could, for the time being at least, wipe their hands of the issues they’d created. Although that’s a pessimistic view of things, I do very much want to feel as though I’m part of a story that spans both galaxies and eons, rather than as though I’m grasping at straws or being presented with trite narrative.

What has me dubious

Gameplay:

I’m leery of the class and ability changes, and to some extent, of the gameplay itself. I admit that this is both premature and unfair, as what we’ve seen is both an early build and is played by completely green players. I’ll wait for the Beta to draw any near-conclusions, but for now I have several concerns.

What has me potentially most concerned is the player movement. By all accounts, movement and movement speed has been “toned down.” To build on the section above, one of the things I loved about Destiny was how important movement was to the game - both in PvP, but in the PvE as well. I truly hope that the name gameplay doesn’t take away the greasiness - for lack of a better word - that made Hunter jumps, Warlock surfing, and Titan skating so satisfying purely in itself.

Beyond that, the strike gameplay itself has me concerned that we haven’t totally escaped the “Bullet Sponge Boss” feature that plagued (I think it plagued) Destiny 1. Despite some new-ish mechanics that were shown, what I still see is dumping thousands of bullets into a big bad robot. That doesn’t excite me, not nearly as much as the world that fight is happening in.

Crucible:

I am not excited by the move to 4v4. I am certain that this is, in terms of eSports, a very good idea, but as a proud casual player (in other words, the 99%), one of the reasons I like D1′s admittedly unbalance-able Crucible is that I can pick between more competitive game modes like doubles or skirmish, or I can jump into control for a mostly stress-free way to experiment with new weapons without having to worry or care about team play or much of anything at all. Granted, we have only seen one game mode, and one map, but based on what was said I would have much, much preferred to see variation in both team sizes and in their respective map sizes. I’m willing to wait to hear more, and I’m sure I’ll play it anyway.

Secondly, the gameplay itself seems to have been - I’m not sure if simplified is the right term, but perhaps stripped of some of the individuality that I think made D1′s Crucible compelling. What we’ve seen so far - with timed cooldown abilities, power weapons, and smaller, more focused maps - reminds me more of Halo, or of, as True Vanguard puts it, an ‘Arena Shooter.’ In this video, he also makes reference to the use of CS:GO as a point of inspiration. Again, I find this disturbing because of Destiny 1′s very fun movement abilities. My personal wishlist for D2 involved more verticality on maps, so that players could make use of those movement abilities, rather than less, as was shown in the ‘Midtown’ map. I worry that D2 will be more in line with other competitive shooters, rather than standing alone. 

Third, I think the general trend of (apparently) building PvP around the competitive scene is likely good for the life of the game, good for Bungie, and more importantly good for the franchise’s budget and life cycle. However, I am very concerned that they’ll lose the accessibility of the D1 Crucible. I was not an console FPS player before D1, and it’s the first game that I’ve played in which I feel good about having 1) had the guts to even duck into the Crucible, and 2) having improved as much as I have (I’m still garbage, but that’s fine). I don’t want to lose that sense of “fun” that admittedly accompanies some of D1′s in[s]ane gameplay.

I have no opinion so far on the changes to weapon loadouts. Luke Smith declared that these changes were made to give players more flexibility in how they play the game, and ultimately I’m hoping that’s true. This is, in fact, something that concerns me: I appreciated that D1 builds, although very basic, could to some extent be tailored around playstyle. With the apparent removal of Strength, Discipline, and Intellect, I don’t want to sacrifice fun and flexibility for balance. I feel similarly about weapon loadouts, and fear that what we’ve seen of the gameplay represents a bit of a return to Halo, rather than an extension of Destiny’s possibilities.

It should be no surprise that I am very, very excited to get my hands on the game. Destiny 2 looks, to me, like a true sequel to Destiny 1: an expansion upon and iteration of the themes and features found in Destiny, with a focus on making the game more pleasurable in all ways, be they story-, PvE-, or PvP-related. I don’t need or want a reimagining or reboot of the Destiny series, and part of me is okay with the fact that Destiny 2 may be, when all is said and done, the game that D1 should have been. As long as there are Worms and Ahamkara, I’ll be happy.
