Headcanon/Observation: Seth is Religious

Heyy so I saw someone being confused about this so Im gonna make a tumblr post about it now, basically based off things you see in the game, mostly the imagery shared by Seth and the church, you can make the interpretation that Seth is religious

For one, the church follows the Metal Fox religion (as stated in a loading screen), and you can see the church uses the fox not only in name but as a symbol as they have fox statues in their front yard. This is interesting because Seth shares this symbol, having a fox on the back of his poncho.

And while this sure is something, theres even more ties to be made between Seth and the church and its religion.

Seth has alooot of eye imagery between his regular and mystery phantom forms. He has an eye on the top of his hood, and in his phantom form its both on his front and back AND a necklace of the eye symbol

I found this perplexing for the longest time because there is eye imagery in the game but in every case I could think of its used in relation to the detectives, with the exception being Shinigami and her book of death but she is a mystery centred death god and has ties to detectives through our protagonist, as opposed to Seth who sure is an investigator but still not a detective and was very much on the enemy side and doesn't have a personal tie to detectives either

However you look at the church more closely and what do you see? Eye imagery, specifically in the windows and iron gates

This makes Seths ties to eye imagery make infinitely more sense if you are to assume hes religious, plus the fact his phantom form is wearing a necklace of it is reminiscent of Christians who might wear crosses

Now, for some additional notable mentions which I feel are less solid but have some basis and help strengthen my argument:

This dialogue could be interpreted that Seth has some sort of faith, an agnostic or athiestic person probably wouldn't defend someone on the basis of their religious status. However this could also be interpreted as some last ditch or desperate effort to defend the priest, as per his motives and also his role as a mystery phantom.

Another thing would be the fact all members of the church have tattoos/markings, usually tied to their eyes. Seth also happens to have one himself

however this could be a stretch as many characters in the game have face markings/tattoos, and Seths is green as opposed to the red sported by the church's members.

Also, Seth's profile mentions he likes 'Wind instruments',

I am not familiar with church or religious music so I can't say much, but from what I gather they play some part in church music? And the one most associated with churches, the organ, is a wind instrument.

And now, the biggest leap of all: He wears a monocle, which btw is completely unique to him in the game. This draws attention to his one visible eye, and as established earlier eyes are associated with the church

Anyway thats the end!! I hope you liked my post and normal level of digging for a character with like no screentime and now understand the idea that he is religious :3

A popular book I've never read and never intend to read: truly anything by colleen hoover i am all for big popular books that get a large specific audience reading again, but we can do better by young girls and get them reading something sliiiightttllyyyy better (not shitting on anyone who enjoys colleen hoover, again they cater to a specific market and i think thats great, just not my cup of tea, but from what i've heard she's got a couple of questionable opinions)

Longest book I own: a suitable boy by vikram seth, 1474 pages!!!!!!!! and i read it in two weeks during the height of covid lockdown and it was EXCELLENT

Prettiest book I own: i have a really beautiful collection of charles dickens' books even though i'm not his biggest fan at all (loved david copperfield, enjoy a christmas carol, have read great expectations) but they were a gift and they do look really pretty on my shelves at my parents house!

A book or series I wish more people knew about: urmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm okay not to like talk about it again.............but at swim two boys............it was highly applauded when it was first published and was very popular but feel like it's popularity waned but its got two boys trying to resist falling in love and choosing to spend time together by learning to swim in the cold dublin sea.......the tumblr girlies would eat that up nowadays......also bewilderment by richard powers i think everyone should read that book 😌

Book I'm reading now: briefly, a delicious life by nell stevens....only about 50 pages in so far but good fun, a sapphic ghost love story from what i can tell so far so intriguing....

Book that's been on my TBR list for a while but I still haven't got around to it: the fifth season by n.k. jemisin.....tried reading it but wasn't in a sci-fi mood so only got one chapter in and then it has just.....sat there......for like.....two years......

Paperback, hardcover, or ebook?: paperback anyyyyyyyyyyy day of the week let me BREAK that spine let me make you look worn and loved and read let me chuck you into my bag and u barely add any weight!!! i dont hate a hardback but avoid buying them unless it is a book i am DESPERATE to read asap or it's at a good price but yeah i am a paperback girlie <3 don't own an e-reader apart from having the kindle app on my ipad so v rarely venture into e-books and i am sorry but nothing beats the feel of a book in ur hands like i need to feeeeel the pages

I didn’t really have an opinion on him throughout the series, then I read the Illustrated Guide and decided I liked him - if only for how he handled the Sam/Emily clusterfuck and REVIVED her after she was hurt. My dude is the same age as Jacob, probably 15y/o at the time, and he handled it like a bloody champ.

5 good qualities:

finally? i came out of the womb holding pen and paper how dare you- /j ive been writing for like 15 yrs and im 20 so that should tell u a lot- i wrote my first """poem""" at age 4-5. first two actually. both for mothers day, i think the first at age 4 and another one at age 5. so i literally cant remember- i was always fascinated w reading and harassed my mom relentlessly to teach me lol so ig thats why. i love stories. i love writing. i love reading. i love it

"Believe it or not, 23, almost 24. Pumpkin was the very first person that I actually 'whumped', aside from everyday manipulation and some lying here and there. A lot of lying, actually.

"Easily transported and easily overpowered, so like, they need to be... I'd say under 5'8 or so, and under 200lbs. I won't bust out the scales or a measuring tape, but I'd say I wouldn't target anyone much larger than that. I mean, according to the gym sessions, I can deadlift around 350-400lbs, so half that should be easy, right? Plus the cage I have isn't that big either. So that's obviously the first thing, for practical reasons, and then the rest is like... Preferably some loser that's always alone and won't have many people care when they disappear. Insecurities are always good. Low self-esteem, perfect. Some self-hatred is a treat as well. I know some people tend to go off looks but honestly... I don't care that much. Before anyone decides to ask- I’ve only watched the anime. I’m not well versed, in what happens on the manga! I’m fully aware how different, things can get from one source to another. I just want to make that clear! <3

Priest Seto

Why I like them/why I don’t: Me, a sucker for Ancient Egypt stuff, and loves Kaiba: eYEZOOMS. Set grew on me, after I began writing him on another blog!! I love drawing paralles and comparing him to Kaiba. Out of all the MW’s characters, he was definetely a golden nugget! Mind you: I’ve only watched the anime, I’m well aware of the differences found in the manga (which, I have yet to read). I like his anime version, I’m not so sure about his manga counterpart however- his obsession with Kisara there just leaves me... All in all, I like this character a lot. I’d love if we ever got to see, what his reign was like!

What I like about their appearance: NGL the first time I looked at Set’s design, I felt like it was jarring and looked silly. It eventually grew on me, and I got to learn new stuff about that time period’s clothes. So that was nice! We don’t talk about early/BC’s arc design of Set, however... And I’m aware of forbidden memory’s priest Seto, to which I say... I gUESS IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE.

Do I prefer their dub names or original names?: N/A, since the different names come from the community trying to tell him apart from his modern counterpart :P. I personally stick to calling him Set, bc that’s how the God’s name Set is written in my language.

OTP: I literally made this up like at the start of the month. Rose C. Rosenkreuz (the Seto from the ps2 duelist of roses game) & priest Set [kudos to @obsessedwithyugioh for indulging it with me JKBDSBDS] . I also enjoy priest Isis/Set and Mahad/Set.

NOTP: Corrupt TKB/Set. I don’t care what people do for their fanarts, I honestly couldn’t care anyway less what ppl’s takes on a ship may be. I already have a distaste for Bakura in general, so that doesn’t help anything. But I sure don’t like seeing subjects such as r*pe, kidnapping, etc being romanticized. On top of seeing the “uwu TKB did nothing wrong” attitude. I’ll just take my leave, and chill somewhere else.

OT3: Ah man, I don’t really have one? I guess I’d be down for the idea of a Set/Isis/Mahad ordeal.

Favourite card they use: Set doesn’t use a card. But man I still feel like Duos, should have been turned into a card. C’mon Konami.

Least favourite moment: I haven’t even read the manga, but I can tell u I don’t like the way Set talks about Kisara and obsesses over her. KT plz don’t...

Why I like them/why I don’t: KT plz don’t write female characters. Man I feel bad for KT, and all the time crush he was put into by his editors. And I would love to have seen, Kisara as an actual character. I want to like Kisara, but 90% of time time I forget she exists (It’s just as bad as Bakura rifp). Unfortunately, she isn’t in a good condition as things are, and tHE LEAST WE TALK ABOUT THE MANGA-

What I like about their appearance: It’s simple, then again you look at what commoners used to wear around this time and she isn’t exactly that unfit looking for the time period. It serves it’s purposes I guess, I have no complaints or praises to give. But I must say how her TCG counterpart design, is a huge improvement <3

OTP: Poor girl only has one ship, so I guess Set/Kisara goes here. It isn’t one of my favorites for Set, but it’s the only one I have for her.

Ooh thank you!! This is a new pairing for me and I am 👀👀 to take a stab (...see what I did there; I'm so sorry) at it!

E: Enemies to Friends to Lovers

It isn't that Seth has any hatred for Magnus out of how his actions have effected Pickles. No, he doesn't give a shit about that, it's just that as soon as he meets Magnus, recovering in a hospital post-Doomstar? (because there's a whole thing of Toki wanting to see Magnus rehabilitated even as everyone else goes He Literally Tortured You and Held You Captive Are You Serious??!!!??, and it's decided that once Magnus is well enough, he'll start said therapy, rehab, etc. with the Dethklok Australia branch to keep him away from the lads until everyone is ready for that huge step.)

He HATES him. Like, looks at him and first thought is 'what a dick.' He doesn't care to tear that apart more though, even as he complains to poor Amber about it.

"So...you're into him. That's why you hate him right now." And she doesn't even have to look up from her phone to tell him that. She has all the drunk girl in a bathroom wisdom, without needing to be drunk.

He doesn't believe her. What utter bullshit, right?

And Magnus thinks little of Seth. Nepotism is what got him his job, what a dick! What good does he even bring to the job? None that Magnus can see.

"So... you're like, into my husband. You can have him, if you want," says Amber as she texts Abigail. They have been dating on the side for nearly a year. Seth still has not noticed, despite the monthly trips Abigail has made out to the Australian branch, where she did in fact sleep with Amber the entire time.

Magnus is disgusted. Him, into Seth? Fuck anyone who would suggest it!

They hit the year mark of Magnus being a technical Dethklok Australia employee/ward of the branch and uh. Well.

Him and Seth spend the weekends together now. They... actually hang out. They have fun. Turns out they both like the same shows, same stupid board games, same comedians, and whatever they don't both like, they don't despise so much that they won't endure it for their...

Fuck. Their friend.

"Are you guys ever gonna fuck?" Amber asks as she shows off the baby to Abigail via Skype. Abigail has proposed, and once things are formally ended with Seth, can't wait to adopt the baby and be a mum with Amber. She'll be the working mum, yeah, but she's ready to settle down. Amber will be the stay at home mum, and on weekends they'll get plenty of time together, watching the little one grow up.

Seth and Magnus, sobbing together on the couch over their favourite (and secret) romantic drama from the 40s playing on the huge TV, are too busy with themselves to answer.

"They're gonna be together forever!" They sniffle and cry in one voice.

"Oh my fucking gooooddddd," replies Amber, who has had the divorce paperwork ready for over three months now.

Seth signs the papers and the divorce goes on without a peep from him, not even at the page that says he'll agree to two visits a year with the baby, and to let Abigail adopt the baby ASAP, making Amber and Abigail the main parents.

Is he sure of what he signed? Not clear, but either way, he doesn't care about it. Amber moves out to be with a thrilled Abigail, and Magnus moves in.

Because friends wouldn't let friends be alone during a huge life change like this, right?

"For your own sake, just fuck him already. And like, ya know...date and shit. You'll both be happier once you do." Amber says before she leaves and washes her hands of their slow burn nonsense.

They spend the nights together. They cook together. Go to movies together. Make a chore chart that's followed surprisingly rigidly. Grocery shop together. Maybe jack off a few nights together.

Like friends!

Until all of a sudden it hits Magnus that oh god

Oh no oh FUCK no

He wants More. He doesn't just like this little twerp, he loves him. This is his little twerp, and he wants to spend all his time making him happy.

His therapist, already thrilled with his progress and his getting over his need for revenge, is over the moon for him. Asks when he's going to make it a formal thing.

He doesn't know. Because how can he possibly tell if Seth feels the same?!

(he could, ya know, ask him. But he won't, not yet.)

It clicks for Seth a few weeks later, when he sells his wedding ring from his marriage to Amber. He...misses wearing a ring. And there's only one person he could ever think of now to wear a ring for, who technically has the guest room but sleeps most nights with Seth, who lets Seth play with his long curled hair, who falls asleep on Seth with a smile on his face during their movie nights at home-

Oh no. Oh shit oh Fuck No. He can't ask Magnus for more, there's no way to say if he wants more, or sees him as anything more than a friend.

(in the movie version of this fic, Two of Hearts has started playing on the soundtrack.)

Finally, a month later, they Break. It's a fantastically furious night of passionate and long held back kisses (and more lol.)

Amber texts them both after getting panicked 'oh god what if he really doesn't like me this much and this is just a one night stand?!' separate texts from them:

'congrats on the sex. Took u 2 long enough lol 😘. Abi and I will send u Something cool for ur wedding, just give us a date.'

And about a year later, she sends them a Dethklok Blend Your Enemies Into Blood Deluxe Grade Blender a few days before the actual ceremony. She'd attend, but she's pregnant with what will be her second, and her and Abi's first baby together (Charles is the willing but not overly enthusiastic sperm donor. It's just a weird part of his job as far as he's concerned, and he is dating Amber's ex-brother-in-law, so...he feels like he should.)

They wear matching suits. Magnus happily lets Seth braid his hair for the wedding. Seth rents them a gorgeous spot on the beach for their week-long honeymoon.

It's the happiest either of them has ever been, and to think it all started with both of them glaring at each other in a hospital room.

— born in the town of dingle, a small port town in ireland, malcolm and his family immigrated to america when he was ten years old. they moved into misty hollow after his father opened up his own bookshop and the o’sullivan’s have been there ever since. 

— always having been a rebellious child, malcolm ( slowly gaining the nickname sully in school ) seemed to have a knack for doing anything that pissed his father off. his greatest act ? moving out as soon as he graduated without so much as a goodbye.

— malcolm was only a wee lad when the misty hollow murders were happening. his older brother, his only brother, was unfortunately one of the victims, being eight at the time. he’s not too torn up about it, he was only two years old. but his father reminded him everyday growing up, how much smarter and accomplished and just overall better his brother was than him.

— the only thing that sully was grateful for about his father was the love for books he had ingrained into him. growing up, he developed a knack for writing and he ended up going to the university of pennsylvania for journalism. after that, sully moved out to new york where he worked as a journalist for the new york times and wrote articles on political updates and reports. 

— he met his wife in new york and they had three children together, two girls and one boy. sully was living the classic american dream. until, of course, it was all ruined in a single camping trip. 

— it was just sully and the three kids, except the trip was cut short and he had to come home with two kids instead of three. sully’s youngest, nancy, was taken at the campgrounds and evidence of her murder was found in a nearby cabin.

— this tore sully’s family apart. the tragedy forced him towards a downwards spiral, an endless cycle of destructive habits. it got to the point where his wife decided to divorce him and to take the kids with her. 

— sully eventually, reluctantly, made the decision to return to misty hollow. there, he stayed with his parents for a bit until he got a job at o’sullivan’s books and was able to take a couple months to get back on his feet. 

— his parents initially pushed him towards trying to work at the mystic herald but sully hasn’t written a single sentence since his daughter died. now, his father has essentially left him to run the bookshop for him, which sully doesn’t mind. it’s quiet work that doesn’t require too much effort.

personality

— to sum it up in one sentence .. sully has essentially has regressed into a man-child in the more recent years of his life, but the inferiority complex is a tried and true constant. 

— he hasn’t really properly dealt with his daughter’s death ( even though it’s been over a decade.. ), just lives in a constant cycle of whenever he does try to think about it, he feels like shit and just thinks about all the things he could’ve done differently so he stops immediately. 

— sully always wanted to be a dad, to prove that he could be a better one than his own father. so he feels like he really failed in that retrospect. he’s like a human pity party. though he does that classic thing where he glosses over his sad feelings with destructive behaviour and inappropriate humour.

— very self-indulgent, does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. as long as it makes him feel better, even just for a moment, he’ll do it. doesn’t take anything very seriously, just kinda jokes around all the time. is one of those people that just give off.. kinda pathetic vibes you know? like you look at him and you’re like ?? what are you doing with your life dude ?? and he’s like idk

— but, on the bright side, this makes him pretty easy-going and down-to-earth. definitely a roll-with-the-punches and no bullshit type of guy, isn’t discouraged by much and doesn’t care a whole lot about what others think of him. it’s easy for him to engage in conversation and be all charismatic when he feels like it.

for your first question, i feel like i can't not say seth for past cast member/writer lol. i just love him a lot. in the current cast, though, while i'm definitely crushing hard on alex, i would have to say mikey's my favorite cast member/writer. i think his original characters are hilarious and he does have a certain trend/theme with his writing so it's kinda easy to tell what sketches are written by him. they're usually pretty goofy but definitely make for easy, enjoyable laughs

last week was the phoebe waller bridge ep? eh, pretty forgettable. lot of weak sketches. the season opener was much stronger. i liked the sketch with mikey (speaking of him) that they did once before with claire foy - somehow they managed to still make it surprising and funny - but other than that, i don't remember laughing much. hopefully tonight is better; at least i'm going in with low expectations, so maybe i'll wind up pleasantly surprised and enjoy it.

7: Does your OC have any irrational phobias?

Cas:

The entire city of New York, dish soap, leather arm chairs and small dogs, and don’t ask him about any of these things or why he’s afraid of them. He’ll get mad.

Jacques:

McDonalds, ever since he heard of the whole ‘pink slime’ ordeal. He’s pretty sure if he eats a single chicken nugget from there he’s going to get e. coli. Cedric gets McDonalds for lunch way more than he normally would just to eat it in front of him.

Marcello:

Attics. No particular reason, they’re just so full of spiders and that’s a pretty rational fear. Plus, the many creepy antique dolls his grandmother used to keep in her attic didn’t help the impression.

15: Does your OC consider themselves a good person?

Cas:

A person worthy of the same respect as everyone else, but not a good person. He considers himself a good liar if anything, a skilled or wise person if anyone else asks him directly, just not one who could be purely good at heart if no one even knows who he truly is.

Jacques:

Somewhat. He’s done and said plenty of regretful things, and it’s a little harder to forgive himself than most would find it. Still, he knows his intentions have been to defend, not to hurt. Deep down, he’s just content with who he is.

Marcello:

Yes. Aside from being the #1 most dysfunctional of the main bunch by far, what Marcello does have a solid handle on is his self image. He doesn’t blame himself for things that have happened to him and takes responsibility for what he’s done in retaliation, but never resents himself for it. He’s a good man and he knows it, that’s what’s important to him.

22: How does your OC usually show affection? Are they openly romantic or more restricted with their affectionate emotions?

Cas:

Surprisingly affectionate. He’s not going to make a scene at work or in public, but holding hands or an arm around the shoulder, he’s all about that. Even more surprisingly, it’s almost less romantic with him than it is a friendliness that he doesn’t share with anyone else.

Jacques:

He’s never going to initiate any sort of affection with Cedric in public, but his complaints about Cedric’s PDAs are…half hearted at best. Tsundere Frenchman adores the little touches to his waist and kisses to his temple deep down, it makes him burn up inside, but he’s not going to admit that. Luckily his body tends to do the talking for him, against his will.

Marcello:

Similar to Cas in the friendlier manner rather than romantic, but he’s super picky about it. It takes a magnifying glass to tell if he’s upset in an “I need a hug” kind of way or a “don’t fucking touch me or I’ll rip your head off” kind of way. But his love interest (if I ever come up with his goddamn name) has all the patience in the world, and a decent dictionary for all Marcello’s subtle body language.

26: What is the most intense thing your OC has been battling with?

Cas:

Self blame and isolation. He prefers to just show the world what they want to see and let things run smoothly, then blame himself for wearing a mask later. Because of this, it’s impossible to let anyone get too close and thus, he has an acquaintance relationship with nearly everybody, aside from Seth and Danny.

Jacques:

Perfectionism and acceptance. He was raised to either do things right or not at all, so it gets him a little extra frustrated when he messes things up, even on the first try. Accepting his desires when it comes to Cedric is also hard; he’s always known he was bisexual, but the informality of their relationship is a little overwhelming as well as pleasantly exhilarating. On the one hand, he hates not knowing what’s going to happen next. On the other hand, it’s a huge relief not to have to live up to his own partner’s expectations. He’s hella conflicted.

Marcello:

Openness. He knows his troupe can see every bit of the problems he can’t handle on his own, and he wishes they didn’t have to worry but it’s hard to confess to anyone what’s bugging him. It’s hard to trust anyone with such a vulnerable side of himself.

3: Does your OC behave differently around different people, if so with whom and how? 

Other people are fucking weird, man. It’s easy to hang around strangers when Danny’s there, probably ‘cause he keeps ‘em from gettin’ too creepy with that ice-stare of his. But like, when I had to go to the DMV without him ‘cause he had a headache? It got all, “Oh, sir, you have to stand in line the whole fucking time, you can’t sit on the floor” and “Sir, this is a governmental building, you can’t smoke in here.” Even though I offered them a cig, the grumpy old pricks. That never woulda happened if Danny was there.

Point in case, I don’t act different around anyone. Everyone else acts different around me when I’m alone. It’s just weird like that.

I love a scarf. Patterned, knitted, silk, bandanna, all of them. They were one of my most frequent op shop/vintage purchases. Mostly because you find some amazing stuff but mostly because a scarf always fits. One of my favourite vintage scarves is a Carla Zampatti one I bought at Glebe Market in Sydney. It’s paisley and it’s wonderful.

It’s a fun take on her patrol look. What’s not fun is the baggy pants and loose coat. Or that Buffy thinks Xander is too good for Cordelia.

Outfit 2

I was wrong about cowl necks being more early 2000s. Trends took a long time to get to us so if I was wearing cowl necks in the early 2000s they probably did start in, like, the 90s. This seems like a lot of velour. Brown velour.

There’s also brown pants. They’re baggy. Are they culottes? Gaucho pants? I... uh, they’re ok.

But her hair is crazy good.

Xander’s friends don’t approve of his dating Cordelia, but he doesn’t really give a shit. Cordelia’s friends, however, really disapprove and Cordy gives a bit of a shit.

Buffy’s Valentine’s Day Dance look is ‘staying at home because ex-boyfriend is literally a psycho.’ And I dig it.

In a shocking twist, Angelus acts completely out of character by stalking Buffy and giving her creepy gifts. This time it’s flowers with a card that says ‘soon.’

Xander’s wearing some really terrible velour, but I suppose it’s ok because he’s experiencing a break-up. Meanwhile, Harmony and her mean friends look amazing. I mean, can I get that dress the blonde girl is wearing?

Cordelia’s look is way off. Proof she’s grieving. She’s giving the necklace back to Xander because he wants to do a love spell to humiliate Cordelia for the crime of not liking him the way he likes her. Except she does and this obviously backfires terribly but I’m getting ahead of myself.

Oh, and Amy’s a witch or whatever.

This is cute. I’m ok with it. I’m more than ok with the hair.

Xander fucked the love spell up because Cordelia’s necklace somehow protected her from it. Basically, every woman who comes into contact with Xander falls under the spell and it’s... painful to watch. Buffy here is under the influence of said spell. I think these are black pants. I wanted them to be jeans, but hey. Life is full of disappointments.

This feels like a standard response to having to talk to Xander.

So can Willow make anything infinitely cuter, or is it that Xander’s clothes just look terrible on him?

Outfit 6

Xander’s dream scenario is quickly becoming his worst nightmare because the spell has nothing to do with love and everything to do with obsession and the dark side of women being socialised to compete for the attention of men. Having said that, this is one of Buffy’s best coats.

And the hair. Is. Amazing.

Oh, and Amy can turn people into rats or whatever.

Meanwhile. Cordelia can’t win with Harmony and her friends. She is winning with me, however, because this dress is pretty great.

This wrap dress also wins.

This was actually a look. I may have wanted this hair. I read the novelisation of this episode and I think she was described as having hair that made a U at the ends. Or something. It was a long time ago when I thought Xander was cute and funny.

Oz punched Xander and it was hot but I think Willow can handle herself. I also hope she’s stolen Xander’s flanno forever because it’s way better on her.

Oh, and everyone goes even more nuts for Xander, including Drusilla and Buffy’s mum and he and Cordelia are almost mobbed to death. Luckily, Giles convinces Amy to help him reverse the spell and Buffy is human again and everyone except Cordelia comes to their senses and remembers Xander sucks. 

Outfit 7

Buffy’s giving Xander a bit of shit for this stupid spell, particularly for how much it hurt Willow’s feelings. But she’s also pretty lenient with him because he chose not to take advantage of her while she was under the spell. Like every single man should ever all the time.

This hair is a bit of a disappointment after such a dream run, but you know I love a scrunchie.

Cordelia is back and in charge. You can tell this from the popped collar. Harmony also looks great but it’s obvious from the muted colours and cardigan that the power dynamics have shifted.

I mean, her choice is bad. But it’s her choice and she’s standing up for herself and it’s good, I guess.

I love their first on-screen interaction. First of all, for its meaning (u know where everything started), but most importantly because it shows perfectly the dynamic between them and the tension that has been high af since day one.

The happy Shield days… look at them and try not to cry, I dare you.

3. Dean chasing Seth forever

It was 2015 and I had just caught up with wwe again after many years (that’s why it’s so meaningful to me). In the meantime, Dean and Seth were carrying out the angle where Dean stole Seth’s belt. It was all fun and games until Dean popped up on the titantron cutting one of the best promos of their feud.

4. Dean’s title reign

This one from their feud in 2016 is still my favourite promo. Not only within the Ambrollins ones, but of all the promos I’ve seen so far: the intensity of their stares, the fire in their words, everything was top quality storytelling. And the moment Dean lifted his title looking straight into Seth’s eyes without speaking, my heart skipped definitely a beat.

5. Redesign, rebuild, reclaim your boyfriend

And here we are, where this stunning angle of reconciliation has begun. Seth was looking at Dean pacing after their win, unsure of what to do, but the will to hug his rediscovered tag team partner was too strong. The thing I like the most is him standing on his tiptoes to reach Dean… isn’t it the sweetest thing?? Ooof

I think my first oc was your typical mary sue, named Angel, whom I used for basically every fandom I got in then. I’ve since reworked her because I couldn’t leave her the mess she was lmao

I privately rp w @spokoystviye, namely our ocs Regulus and Adelais. We used to do Gregory and Jason too but ever since we worked on the time it plays in that’s stopped lmao.

So Regulus it is: Regulus Whitlock, living in France during the French Revolution. He’s originally from England, where he grew up the son of a Blacksmith. Regulus is exceptionally tall for the time he lived in, very soft hearted and believes in “dressing like a gentleman,behave like a bastard”. Most part of his life he works as a Blacksmith from his shop, that he took over from his father after the man died. Regulus took on a ‘side job’ as a hunter, smart, a good shot and with a great need to help people. But he’s of too good nature, ending up taking in a Vampire of all things, despite better judgement, not able to leave the woman to her death.

9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?

I don’t think I could give an oc to a random person, that is one that I’ve worked w a lot. Just making a design and such for the purpose of giving it away in the first place would be fine

Gerwyn is relatively complicated to draw solely because his base design is full body armor lmao. Besides him maybe Susanna and Nathanael since their design is hard to make it look accurate especially without colouring it

14. Tragic Backstory

Gregory and Annora have a tragic backstory as well but I’m gonna go w Célestin rnTw: Rape, Abuse, Homophobia

Célestin Villeneuve grew up in France to very religious parents with strict views.  Célestins mother had unhappily carried out Célestin, having gotten pregnant at a very young age. Both her and her husband being strong believers, they considered abortion a sin and kept the child. Her own parents threated it like a shameful secret, making their daughter and her boyfriend marry, despite them being 16 at the time. They moved to the next town, where they were unknown and had everyone belive that they were both adults, their child concieved properly, after marriage and willingly.

Not having finished their education properly, Célestins father lied in order to get a job, his wife mroe than willing to keep up his tales, in fear of being ridiculed by the community. Appearance and what others thought of them became the most important thing to Célestins mother early on, drilled into her by her own parents.Célestins father craved to be popular and keep his image in the town.

They were active in church and his father insisted on going to every sunday mass, prayers before lunch and his child confessing his sins to him.Punishment often consisted of simple bread and cheese and water for meals, a swat ont he back of his head if it was particularly bad in his parents eyes.

Célestin had always been a perfect child, smart and following his parents wishes, sitting in church, firm in prayer.He considered his parents treatment right, and, as he kept from sin, was confident it would never get any worse.However, he was gravely mistaken.As he got older, Célestins parents would get worse in their punishment, afraid their child would sully their image, as they themselves had, with the early pregnancy.

Things reached a peak when Célestin discovered he was gay. Knowing it to be a sin, he told his mother, asking her for help to free him of this condition, telling her he’d accept the punishiment if it’d only make him right in God’s eyes again.

His mother was shocked, less so because of her sons sexuality, but more so because she had seen the violence raging in her husband and was well aware that he would no longer keep the punishment to a few slaps.Talking to her husband that night, when Célestin was asleep, she attempted to sway her husband, who was as she had expected, beyong angered.

He however knew of her fear for being casdt out of the community and explained that not punishing and correcting such behaviour would result in Célestin believing it was normal and flaunting it around for everyone to see. Riddled by fear, Célestins mother accepted her husbands preposition as what would happen to her son.

While Célestin had expected punishment, nothing would have prepared him for what would come for him as his father would drag him out to the field each day anew, whipping him until his back was bleeding. His wife was fobidden to tend to her sons wounds and was often standing by staring into nothing while her son begged for forgiveness.

Célestin learned how to poorly tend to his own injuries, some getting infected at the lack of proper treatment. To his own shock no beating did help to cure him as he had desperately hoped to happen to stop the violent treatment. Unsure where to turn, and why God would have him suffer like this, despite all attempts and prayer, Célestin went to the church to confess and ask a pastor for help.The man was shocked and appalled at what he heard and even more so at the fact that Célestin was under the impression that this was right.

For the first time Célestin was told that he was treated terribly, and that he had done nothing to deserve this. He went away with odd feelings in his mind and the first seeds of doubt. Attempting to help, the pastor went to talk to Célestins parents a few days later, when Célestin himself was in school, trying to sway them in their ways, telling them that they surely had to know that he had to report such behaviour.

When Célestin returned from school, he found his mother crying adn his father angrier than hed ever been. They’d not taken the pastors warning to take their son away to their heart, seeing their fault in their actions but instead saw nothing but the ridicule they were about to face, as well as the authorities coming up. Célestins father feared to loose his job, and face, more than he feared for his sons life. He beat Célestin again before dragging him into his parents room, where a middle aged woman was waiting that was known throught the town for offering any kind of intercourse for the right money.

Saying that there was only one way to truly fix him, Célestins father forced his son to have sex with the prostitute, watching with a belt in hand to make sure the intercourse was actually carried out. During it he would often ask his son if he was still filthy, wanting to do this with ofther men and woulod generally insult and hummiliate him. Whenever his son would answer with crying or begging his father to stop this, he would simply pay the woman for yet another round.

When it was finally over, Célestin was left laying in his parents bed, listening as his parents were having dinner in the kitchen.Filled with shame he declined everything when the authorities came knocking at their door the next day, nodding of his fathers claim that he had made it all up.

The pastor attempted to speak to Célestin but when he asked to see the boy the evening, he and Célestins parents found his room empty.Célestin had ran away.

19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)

While all my Ocs mean a lot to me I chose Brist for this because he’d the first Oc I made for a game, fallout new vegas, which I love a lot. He pretty much develpoed all by himself while I was playing, and is really fleshed out now. I’m super fond of him somehow.Here are a couple of things about him:

Brist was born 2225, the son of  caravaneers, somewhere on their travels and therefore does not know where exactly he was born. Deciding that raising a child at such young age while traveling would not work well, they settled near the ruins of Ashton and Hopeville, where a small community was build.Brist spend his childhood in the Divide and soon began traveling alongside his father, keeping the community flourishing as the only connection between it and the rest of the land. When the Divide and the road paved by Brist came to attention of the NCR, they cooperated to protect the supply line and keep it open for other traders. With that done and his home taken care of, Brist left the Divide to travel further, exploring New California as a drifter.  

Brist came to enjoy the life of a Drifter, occasionally taking small jobs and living from day to day up until returning to the divide a last time, making a delivery that would cause his home to be destructed.Not knowing of what had happened, Brist returned into the Mojave desert, further traveling New California before joining the Mojave Express.2281 he was hired to deliver another important package, once more without knowledge of what it would cause, and was shot in the head by Benny in Goodsprings.

He doesn’t sleep too much, and he’s not at all picky about where. He prefers having some sort of mattress but if he’s tired and there’s none he’ll sleep on the floor.

Brist is an Courier and Explorer at heart, determined to finish his jobs, power through them. Even if that might result in physical pain or poisoning. Brist has the constant need to be on his feet all the time, traveling, looking around or doing things for people and he often does not sleep, eat, shower or talk during these travels. Sometimes he’s so focused on the road ahead that he misses the explosive traps right in front of him.

He notices that he is doing this, and he can sometimes be heard muttering to himself how he’ll see a doctor in the next town and so on, but those good intentions always get lost along the way. Brist hates missing traps and such, but he doesn’t quite see that those thigns could easily be avoided if he’d be more careful.

He is suffering from Radiation Poisoning, he could easily be treated for it at the early stages but he literally does not care enough to see a doctor or get some RadAway. He keeps delaying it in favour of missions and traveling and stuff

Charlie sings, more for herself actually, than for anyone else but she’s quite good at it. She’s constantly humming when she’d focusing on something and sometimes doesnt even notice when she starts singing along to songs. She simply loves music a lot and lets herself be taken along by the songs. Has no real preference for genre but she likes happy go lucky songs most

Richard aka Dick. He’s at tattoo artist and leaves cool little doodles everywhere. Especially great with colours. The most colorful the better

There aren’t really any, since my ocs arent popular or anything. Someone did sometimes, but it was more forcing their ideas or their own thoughts w their own ocs on mine,,,

23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?

Gregory, as you see below has changed quite a bit. While the overall design is the same, now he looks  as nasty as I imagine him to be, a lot less soft.Character-wise my ocs didn’t change drastically

Only the fact, in Gregory’s case, that he got more fleshed out, and the time he lives in changed, to the 50sI’m trying to not write to many long things here lmao.Especially since just u and Leander will read this and Leander knows himst and Regulus already.

Dr Gregory Thomas Landon was born 1911 to Sybill and Raphael Landon. While the first world war almost went by without having any impact on the family, Raphael was pulled into war when America joined in 1917 and died in combat.

With her husband gone and her son just 6 years old, Sybill took a job as a secretary to make sure of her and her sons survival.Sybill had grown up the youngest child (of those who had survived) out of 5, always too smart and abitious for a woman in her time. Her father was Doctor and she would often sneak into his office room to look through notes and books on human anatomy and patient records.She had written down what she believed could be links between illnesses,behaviour and anatomy, finding the greatest interest in the still very new field of psychology. Of course her father wanted to hear nothing of it, Sybills oldest brother being the one ment to inherit their fathers office and place as a doctor.

But Sybill had never stopped being interested in psychology, following the work of Edward Titchner, whod brought psychological studies to America, as well as the rise of ‘structuralism’ ,as close as possible.Unlike Titchner, who excluded the study of children, Sybill wondered if it was the childs mind that should be studied to find the roots of all things. Perhaps it was bitterness above all that drove her to the treatment of her son in the following years. Sybill had lived her life knowing that she had no possibility whatsever to porperly study psychology and work on her theories. But hearing about Margaret Washburn, the woman that had been able to become a psychologist, Sbyill turned anger and disappointment to her son, whom she viewed as the reason she had to stay at home and be a mother isntead of trying to achieve what Ms Washburn had.

Quickly she realized however that she did not need a title or be thought by a Doctor to test her theories, deciding to conduct them on her son, who had kept her from fullfilling her dream. While Gregory was not the perfect research object, already six years and not a infant, who Sybill believed to be the ideal stage, she attempted to see if continous infliction of pain would change her sons behaviour.

She was especially curious if such pain inflicted on the brain would influence Gregorys personality, perhaps causing of curing misbehaviours and such. Gregory would grow up very intelligent but withdrawn, hardly finding kinship with people his age, spending his time reading. Like his mother before him he became interested in the human mind and, unlike Sybill, was able to study, earning him a Doctorate in both psychology and psychiatry

While he remained living with his mother he would sometimes roam the university campus, especially after long nights of studying, observing the people around.

It was there that he, at age 19, that he met a young woman that had been wandering around, lost and visibly pregnant. Seeing her caused a deep shock in Gregory as she resembled his mother in looks like no other woman he’d even seen before. Unbeknowns to his mother, Gregory had suffered great damage from her treatment of him, which had lead to violent thoughts and great apathy. Had the girl not approached him, she would have lived but she decided to ask him for help, ending in her death.

This remained the only unplanned murder commited by the Doctor, who hid her body, laying awake at night, working out what to do with her. He had carefully opened her up, not focused on her death as much as on causing her pain for as long as possible, but as he hadn’t been very ecperienced yet he had made quite a mess. The young woman would turn to the first in a row of women that caused Gregory to perfect his work and disposal of the bodies.

World War Two brought a sudden end to the Doctors murder streak. Age 30 when America entered the War he was pulled into it as a medic, despite not being properly trained as a Doctor 

However his talents that he had perfected during his murders had been of great use during the war that had only led to Gregory becoming even more cold to death and gore. Returning from the War he was offered a position at a instiution, as the need for Psychologists arose.

However Gregory saw no great interest in treating shell shocked patients for too long, he instead chose to focus on the psychiatric field, working in an asylum from then on. Gregory is, while extremely smart, speaking four languages and being a Doctor, unable to form any bonds with people.

He’s terribly arrogant and aware of his intelligence, viewing it as a superiority to other people. He suffers from antisocial personality disorder/ psychopathy and is addicted to nictotine.

He’s a very cleanly person, almost to a point of it being an obsession. He smells of Nicotine, Disinfectant and a neutral perfume.

24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?

Oh geez, well I’d rather meet an oc of mine thats like, one of the chill ones. Maybe someone about my age.

Someone like Friedrich or Violet. It’d be easiest to talk to them, and I know they are super nice. Meeting Brist, Araan or Caspian would be cool too tho, so many stories and questions there

There used to be the joke that Friedrich is basically a tall, muscular version of me. Funnily enough I now have the chin beard as well, and I’ve discovered that I’m as much of a nerd and work focused person as he is. Still while we share some similarities, we’re p different still lmao

Not really, only changed things to be more accurate and stuff but that aint against my will or anything

His icon would’ve been fairytale themed for a while until he posts his first selfie for pride month, then it’s a picture of him with a pride flag. He’d reblog peoples art of fairytales, and he’d especially love peoples new interpretations of them

Would reblog thing about rats and post pictures of his own rats with cute captions. Reblogs peoples selfies during pride and other pride days ( like trans day of visibility n such), always adding super nice things in the tags.

He posts his first selfie during pride and it gets quite the reblogs and people asking to see more (half of them are thirsting after his body) Declines the request to post full topless pictures because he says that his blog is sfw and he doesnt want to mix fairtales, rats and codes with nudes.

I’d like to say Brist because that would be funny as hell and he would actually explore everything, pretty unfazed by what is going on. But honestly Annora is already living a horror game pretty much, that is with loosing her parents, fighting for survival,being used by the revolution group as a ‘chosen one’, and especially because she has to encounter the wandering twins, which are creepy as heck. She’s a fighter against will but she pulls through and shes careful enough not to do something stupid.

Cyra, or ‘Venus Cyra’ is not as developed as some others here so not to worry about too long of a text,,,,I hope

Cyra is meant to exist around the 50s funnily enough, just like Gregory, which I really didn’t intend lmaoShe is,a s the question suggests, not quite human, despite maintaining a relaticely human appearance for most of the time. Cyra lives in a house in the fictional Bloomstreet, which has been declared haunted decades ago because of a man living inside of it that took great joy in messing with his neighbours.

Crya believes herself to have lived in the house all of her life, with no memory as to how she got to come there and why she can’t leave it.In truth it’s told that she moved in with her grandmother when Cyra was just a baby, having lost her parents. If you were to believe the whispers and legends the old woman was very poor, hardly able to keep the small house for her and her granddaughter.

She would wear the same old clothes she had arrived in, the young girl wearing a worn out dress with a pale blue bow. Legends say that they were so poor that the grandmother couldn’t afford to buy much more than bread and water.

A police man came to their door one day because the old woman hadn’t been able to pay for her house anymore. Desperate, it’s said that she hit the man across the head as he had bend down to say hello to Cyra, who looked famished and sick at that point.

Not sure what to do with the body and knowing that her granddaughter needed more than bread to survive and grow, she went to butcher the man and cook him into stew for herself and her granddaughter to eat. As she saw that Cyra became more healthy and stronger at the meat consumption, the old woman, desperate and hopeful to keep her beloved granddaughter alive, fully turned to cannibalism.

It’s said that the grandmother died a couple of years later of old age but legends have it that she is still in the house as well, a half dead monster. Cyra, having eaten human flesh all her life is said to have turned into a wendigo like creature,fully turning into a gruesome beast during the nights, to feed on the flesh of people that dare to enter the haunted house.

She is called Venus in some tales because a man claimed to have seen her one day, watering the roses in the lawn of the house, more beautiful than anything he had seen all his life, calling her ‘a sight like the goddess Venus herself’

Cyra isn’t fully aware of these legends, but she is aware of her monsterous nature, that she is unable to control. She believes she was cursed to stay in this house, a monster taking her place during night, leaving her with the remains of peoiple and the ravaging craving for human flesh.

She loved taxidermy and moths, and tending to flowers.

Irina is a professional ballet dancer so I’d say she’s the best out of my Ocs

39. Introduce any character you want

Alright, because I’ve tought about them recently, I’ll cheat a bit and introduce two ocs: Susanna and Nathanael, whom I mentioned somewhere above briefly as ‘The Wandering Twins’

They are part of my Golden Empire universe and are the heads of one of the groups that build after the collapse of most of what we know of the Earth.

They play a part in Annoras journey to find her brother as both a danger to avoid/defeat, as well as potential allies. Susanna and Nathanael are twins that are both about 1,90m tall and are constantly veiled, having stapled veils to their faces and necks.

That adds to their ghostly,creepy appearance. You could describe their group as a cult,as it is religiously motivated and their followers are devoted to Susanna and Nathanael, who they call ‘Mother’ and ‘The Priest’

That could come fromt he fact that Susanna wears the traditional headwear of a nun, while Nathanael looks somewhat like a Priest and carries a bible around. Christianity is considered an old and outdated religion in the times that GE plays in, practiced by a very small amount of people before the collapse. It’s generally thought of as outdated and outlandish, with stories too wild to be real.

However some of the old text have been recovered or been carried on over generations by those that remain firm believers in the Christian God. Susanna and Nathanael were raised by such a family and spread their belief to vulnerble and scared people after the collapse that latch onto it as a form of explanation easily.

The Twins view the collapse as a sort of apocalypse brought by God to punish Humanity for their sins, they believe that they must attone and suffer now as Earth was made their purgatory. If one is firm in belief and enough suffering is done, so they say, Heaven will open up and they will be taken by God to heaven, forgiven and able to forget the horrors they went through on Earth.

They expect that suffering to be done by their followers, who all walk barefoot, some of them having blinded themself in order to see nothing but God in their lifes. Susanna and Nathanael as well as their group wander in order to spread their message, taking in new followers if they prove their faith by stripping themselves of their footwear and walking through the ruins of cities with them until their feet bleed.

Only if they are willing to shed blood for their sins will they be taken on and be bathed and baptized in a river and dressed in simple gowns.It is considered the highest honour to be veiled just like Susanna and Nathanael. They seem to be able to appear out of nowhere and have a settlement in the woods that they return to.

I love developing oc things w my friends, its always a lot of fun and I wish I could do that more. Especially nice was cosplaying Gregory and Jason w Leander,,,cosplaying ocs is rad af, would love to do that again

42. Which one of your OCs would be the most interested in Greek gods?

Cenric, I’d say. He thinks of himself as a god after all. I think he’d like the imagery of it all

Oh geez well,, I generally make my ocs older than me, like most of them are in their late 30s/40s, I have more ocs heading 60s than I have heading 20 lmao. My ocs are more often male than any other gender and more likely to be lgbt than straight. I like nice and clean looks, Leander can tell a great deal about how much I care for a clean look lmao. Most of my ocs have their life in order, and most of them are on the taller side

44. Something you like about your OCs in general

I put thought into my characters,so I think that makes them interesting and fun. And I try very hard to havbe them make sense and be time/lore appropriate.

I did drop some Ocs a bit ago that never got much work and that I didn’t think interesting enough to work on. Sadly enough I don’t do as much w my ocs as I’d like to generally.

Generally special universe oc seem to be more interesting than like,,basic universe ones but I wannt quickly talk abour my OC WilliamI love him okay? He’s from Russia, where he grew up in a tightly knit family. He’s a childrens Doctor and was married to Nahia, who’s an ER Doctor. They met in med school and got along super well, they both were used to the whole early marriage idea and marrying someone you like so they did just that. They both always wanted to have children and kid. It’s very important for them to be there for thgeir child despite their jobs. William is such a dad, he loves his child so much, he’d do anything for em. He and Nahia are best friends, even after the divorce, which happened after long talks because they had noticed that something was off. It led to William confessing that he thinks he might be gay and they ended up divorcing because it turns out yes he is. William probably would’ve stayed w Nahia, also for their childs sake but she wouldn’t hear anything of it. He’s a very kind man, calm and I love the thought of him being able to explore who he is even at his age. He’d be so new to everything,,sobs,,angel

Can u tell me more abt roitlet ? Also where do you get the names for ur novels do they have any special meanings

the names are just ... something notable about the novels in french haha like anges is named because 1. i’ve nicknamed favourite character ange, and 2. most of the main cast has an angel name, and so the novel gets called anges 

noire gets named because despite the fact that aislinn is decidedly the “main” character, shiro also spends a lot of time narrating and his last name noire is already in french, so it’s easily notablealso shiro is one of the first characters i’ve ever created, and while he’s been changed and modified a lot, he still has a really special place in my heart, so noire 

roitelet gets it’s name from wren, who is our main narrator because --although he’s a lot like briar in the sense that he can be a bit of an unreliable narrator-- he has a knack for breaking the fourth wall; roitelet was the closest translation i could get for wren (who is in fact named after the bird, carolina wrens specifically)

so uh roitelet and it’s prequel are both based off of dreams i’ve had before

roitelet actually hasn’t been written yet, and it’s the newest novel on my drawing board, so there are a lot of kinks i haven’t been able to work out yet like i have with anges and noire

this november i’ll get a first draft down and start fine tuning things 

but uh, canonically, wren dies at one point which has gotta be level 5+ friendship to unlock my tragic backstory origins but which i think is neat none the less because necromancer, he also has a white cat named pom

in the very very very beginning, declan didn’t know he was a selkie and it was a major point of conflict, but that has since been scrapped and now the major point of conflict with him is that while he’s a selkie and he knows, he doesn't care for magic at all, he is in fact like ten different kinds of averse to it actually 

a few of the more colourful cast members are isabel, a very sullen siren runt, and herself appointed guardian seth, a well meaning but immature incubus; half-mer lorcan who gets roped into this mess just by looking for some place to call home; and coven leader sybil who also has a knack for breaking the fourth wall
