He found about you being suicidal when he got back home really late, the moment he opened the door he could hear violent crying coming from the bathroom

It took a while of convincing, but you eventually admitted that you weren’t ok, and it utterly broke his heart. The only words that came into his mind were “Why didn’t you… tell me sooner..?”

Once he discovers your suicidal, he will never leave you alone, even if the lov gets mad at his lack of attendance, he doesn’t give a shit, your more important, your always more important

He will also do everything to make you happy, he will do the chores he always rebelled on doing, he will always make sure you drink enough water, and he’ll hold every hour of the day until those rain clouds disappear.

He also wanted to give you a gift, something to cheer you up, it was a big plushie of your favourite animal, but the special thing about it was that Dabi didn’t steal it like all the other gifts he gave you, he saved up enough money to get it himself, to walk into a public place and buy something to make you smile, even if it’s just for one day

His small gesture of kindness really caught you off guard and overwhelmed you, you hugged him as tight as you could while softly crying

“I-I’m sorry…i don’t know why i’m c-crying i-” No.” Dabi stopped you “Never apologise for crying, not to me or anyone.”

He found out in the worst way possible, you were on a balcony, staring at the ground, your eyes were empty, not sadness, joy, anger, they just looked tired and emotionless

He was lucky enough to grab you by the hand before you jumped, which really caught you off guard “What…the hell were you thinking?” He was angry, but not that usual anger he had, he was quiet, but deep down you knew he was scared.

After that, he would do anything to make you smile, cook for you, cuddle you, take you out if you were comfortable with it

It all made you feel guilty, because no matter how much bakugou tried, you weren’t happy and he knew it

One day you eventually broke down, you began to sob uncontrollably “I-I’m so sorry! Your d-doing so much for me to make me happy but i…I” bakugou looked livid “Listen to me right now.” He narrowed his eyes i love you and i want you to be happy, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be sad” his words only made you cry more, even if this time the cries weren’t because of sadness

He cupped your face, his eyes staring into your puffy ones

“It’s ok, to not be ok”

He finds out when it’s late at night and your both in bed, he cuddling up to you when he noticed the tears beginning to form in the rims of your eyes, you looked at him, trying desperately not to sob or shriek, silently uttering the word “I…I don’t think i’m ok…”

He knows what it feels like to be in a dark place, he knows it oh so well, and even if emotions aren’t his strong suit he will try, he will try for you

There's so much he wants to say to you but the words can’t leave his tongue, so instead he tells you with actions

If you stay up all night crying, he’ll be there patting your back and crying with you

If you stay in your room and lock your door, he’ll make sure there's nothing in there that can hurt you

If your having a bit of a happier day, he’ll enjoy every moment of it, and even if the rain clouds come back, that's fine, because he’ll be here every step of the way

Mayhem DOES get injured after getting captured by those weird fucks with the dogs + the turtles

If the reader finds them similar to how April found him in the show, They/He might find the turtles too, the weirdos with the dogs took the vial and the turtles were supposed to 'dispose' of Mayhem

Of course, Mayhem bolts and ends up finding you

Since the turtles find you with Mayhem, they try to attack you, Only for Mayhem to teleport y'all to the opposite side of the city for safety

You adopt Mayhem as your little Dog-thingy, they love being around you and get skittish if they detect Yokai or Mutants around you

They do love being around you because they're ALWAYS near you so you can be safely teleported away in case the turtles find you again

They've already seen you, it's dangerous for you to be alone without an escape plan!

Mayhem ends up leading you to the Mutants that are more Friendly, like Repo

Since Mayhem has been in your life, you've been happier, you've found friends who genuinely enjoy your presence (The friendly Mutants)

However, all good things come to an end

The Turtles find you.

They've been stalking you whenever they can

Oddly enough they're smitten, however, they still need to get that mutt of an animal

but they're starting to lose interest in that

If you're under The Friendly Mutants protection, Mayhem might be more relaxed with being around you, the Turtles use this to their advantage and attempt to kidnap you

Depending on who's around you, It could be successful or a bust

Meat Sweats or Repo and His cat around you? Absolute bust

Warren or Repo WITHOUT his cat, you're now surprise adopted.

Mayhem freaks the fuck out the minute they find out you're with the Turtles and Instantly teleports to you after tracking your general area through scent

Mayhem does end up freeing you, but at a cost, The turtles severely wound them and Mayhem has to teleport multiple times away from them due to Leo's Sword.

Since Mayhem is a Yokai, you can't bring them to a normal Vet, so the only way for them to get safely cared for is you going back into the maw of death

The turtles make a trade with you, They have since gave fuck-all about Mayhem and are more interested in YOU

So, You surrender, as long as they help Mayhem get care in the Hidden city

As much as I can slander the Dark! AU turtles, They do keep their word.

Donnie puts a tracker in you so that now, If you decide to back out when Mayhem feels better, he can find you

The Dark! AU turtles are direct, possessive and Obsessive, getting their attention is hard, but DAMN is it harder to make them no longer pay attention to you

They churr as Leo takes Mayhem to an Animal Yokai Vet(?)

After that you're kinda forced into a cuddle pile with them, there isn't much escape after that, you dug and nailed your own coffin

Anyway yes I usually make a very light sketch with my pencil so that I could erase it easily for me to retrace it but I am here to make a very important public announcement and I feel that it is my duty to inform the public on something that could be beneficial to the society.

Behold: Kneading Eraser

This fucker have multiple names; Putty eraser, gummy eraser, kneaded eraser,clay. It's going through a phase, please don't judge it, let it change name every 10 seconds.

What I need is that I want everyone to put everything down and listen to what I say: You run to the art store, Michael's, Art Friend, soup store, whatever store you get your art supply at. You ask the store clerk you want a putty eraser and if they dont give you a putty eraser, tell them they're a loser in malay (it's mak kau hijau. The more your learn folks) and then go to the next store and find a putty eraser until you get them. Its not expensive, it cost me less than 2 bucks for 1 pack of putty eraser.

Why you may ask? Well, I can assure you as someone who draws, putty eraser is much much MUCH better than a normal generic eraser.

First of all, there's no dust. When you erase a line with this boy, there wont be any rubber shit nugget clumping on the table and making a mess on your bed (i know you hate your spine too and likes to draw on bed i live in ur walls u guys better sleep with 1 eye open). I'm so serious like I have 0 eraser shavings in my house since I use a putty eraser. Please stop sleeping covered in eraser shavings.

It's also malleable. You can literally shape it to whatever shape that you want so you could erase a a tiny spot that you couldn't reach without disturbing other lines. And it works sooooo well as a stress ball or a toy. People actually knead it into animal shape. Can you shape a normal rectangle eraser into a giraffe? CAN YOU? DO YOU SEE MY POINT?

Do you suffer from loneliness? Do you need a conversation opener? Are you tired of kneading an eraser to shape it into a friend? Believe it or not, putty eraser is a great conversation starter when you dont want to start a conversation! As a personal anecdote: whenever I sketch in school, if anyone I know sees me sketching, they will always ask me what the fuck is the clay thing I use to erase my lines and then I have to explain to them what is a kneadable eraser and then whenever I demo'd the eraser, an amusing OOOOOOO will come out and they will play with my eraser for like 5 mins. Am I mad that my eraser is taken away? No because the eraser can also be s e p e r a t e d . Black magic fuckery. Please go buy a putty eraser.

Anyway for the pencil, I swear to god if you ever get this pencil, you will never use a normal mechanical pencil ever again.

The pencil I'm using is called a drafting pencil, specifically Pentel Graphgear 500. There's tons of drafting pencil in the market but just look at this one because other's are expensive and you will cry. This pencil had a plastic body but the base is made of metal so its pretty heavy. It feels v e r y c o m f o r t a b l e on the hand, like the moment you hold it, you will believe that this is how mechanical pencil suppose to be. It just fits so perfectly with the contour of you finger. The weight feels so nice on your hands and the grip is very comfortable. The pencil sleeve also doesnt budge so you don't and won't have any issue of lead breakage (unless you press your pencil really hard)

It's also very long-lasting. I have 2 of them in my pencil case. The one on the left were bought in 2021 from Muji. The one on the right were bought in 2015. It still works fine despite being 8 years old. I don't think I ever have any mechanical pencil that is long lasting like this one. This is legit one of the product that I would say would last a lifetime if you take care of it well.

volo: praying mantis

obv with volo's religion a "praying" mantis makes sense but i also like that praying mantises were thought to have special powers in ancient greece. "mantis" literally means prophet/seer in greek, which is delightfully ironic given volo's—especially in my headcanons—conflict with a god he just can't understand and longs to war with. he is anything but a seer. and not to even mention the praying mantis' capacity to eat its partner.....if the male mantis' purpose is to reproduce and offer himself as nourishment for his mate, it translates well into what (intended) use rohan had to volo: to gather the fragments that would nourish his dream, and to be his dramatic final sacrifice before volo stood before arceus and killed it, too.

rohan: assassin bug

this made me really INSANE earlier reading about assassin bugs as they relate to rohan lol. a bug that resembles the praying mantis in many ways but is maybe even more brutal, holding its prey in its arms and liquifying its insides to drink. it's a shy and slow moving bug, but once it catches you, there is no escape. volo is a very old immortal but is permanently naive and childish in ways, especially his pride; and he does not suspect that rohan may be capable of his own duplicity. rohan is quiet and withdrawn. he seems all alone. and although he is strong and confident and tends well to his own affairs, volo can sense the vulnerabilty in someone so lonely. but they're very similar... rohan has his own wants, things volo thoughtlessly promises because he is so certain he'll achieve his goal that it matters not what lies he tells to get there. he doesn't anticipate rohan's tenacity to hold him to that promise, doesn't anticipate that rohan observed him, got inside his head long before he noticed or began to fear rohan's ability of perception. volo simply thought he was above it. but rohan knows volo better than he knows himself because he cares to notice, and that is how he drinks volo's insides.

also did u know, that there are some assassin bugs called kissing bugs because they bite your lips and drink your blood as you sleep? and they can kill you with these bites. VERY rohan

i named my guild in an rpg the polyamory guild but this was before i realized that they're kind of terrible people but in a deeply amusing way and that they probably aren't a good polycule

this is valy he's the team leader by virtue of "no one else is sane/morally upright/outspoken enough to lead you guys." he is stoic calm quiet kind of guy but there's something a bit off about him? like he charges in to help others even when it's not a good idea even though he clearly demonstrates that he's good at telling when to hang back and analyze the situation calmly. not just that but he just goes "if what you want is a handsome man to fawn over you, aren't i suited for the role?" to salis (the next party member) with it being completely ambiguous whether or not he actually likes her or if he thinks this will help somehow.

in contrast to how he aims to be a hero, he's awfully pragmatic and suggests things like sneaking up on distracted enemies, using instakill attacks, and hitting enemies with 9999 points of damage at once, because "we're not people who win by conventional means. underhanded methods suit us much better."

his backstory is that he's his family's illegitimate son and they always wanted to get rid of him, so they sent him into the dungeon to become an adventurer. it seems like his desire to help others and be recognized as an adventurer is his desire to be loved and recognized by his family... until he says "having them realize that the bastard they abandoned to die has become a perfect hero because of them... what better revenge is there?" and you realize. oh he's a little fucked up actually.

this is salis and i love her. she's haughty with attitude and refuses to admit she has a heart. she's bossy and insists she'd be a better leader than valy but she's also lazy and dismisses his attempts to help others as naive. even so, there's people she can't bear to be mean to, like children, cute animals, and timmy. she keeps arguing with valy but it's obvious they don't actually hate each other.

her tsundere attitude is like. she has a backstory of being the daughter of an impoverished noble family and she was raised thinking that she had to repress her true feelings for the sake of others because she was in an arranged marriage with a creep so the dowry would pay off her family's debts. unfortunately, instead of actually doing that, he set her family home on fire

the imagery in my head is just salis staring in horror as she's thinking 'what... did i endure all that for, then? everything i did, it was so everyone else would be happy... was everything pointless...?' and then, out loud, she mutters "this... PISSES ME OFF!" before punching her husband out. unfortunately this gets her arrested but she gets released to be an adventurer on account of the talent she showed. she swore to survive no matter what and never endure anything with a stupid smile ever again (though it's very obvious that at least half of her vitriolic attitude is so she never gets close enough to be hurt again)

half the reason that this specific guild is what formed is that she punched someone out who was hitting on her and no one wanted to approach her except valy.

also she has a crush on the human prince after he freed her from prison and he's the only one she's nice to and swoons over. he's not interested in anything but being cooking buddies with her though. (her grilled fish is valy's favourite food and he gets sulky if he doesn't get to eat it. unfortunately no one else can cook it how he likes it)

this is gello and he's very dumb and i lov him. he is like very kind and laidback but laidback in a way that means he doesn't mind tagging along with salis' stupid reckless decisions sometimes. he's very strong but he's also fragile like paper so it's a recurring thing that he'll faint and wake up just as the monsters are being defeated and he just assumes he went into a berserker state and killed everything but what really happened is that everyone else took care of it for him. this happens so often the rest of the guild are used to him being knocked out. his most useful trait is his muscles.

he's chill but the thing that gets him the most excited is money since he loves going on shopping sprees for expensive stuff. his ideal dream is just having enough money to retire peacefully but he is. bad at keeping himself alive.

somehow or another he has become salis' knight (?)...? as in he helps fight things or hunt food or paint her nails if she asks. salis tells him "you're my dog, so don't you dare die without my permission, idiot!" and like. that's probably affectionate?

he and valy mesh surprisingly well since they're both pretty calm, despite valy seeming so serious compared to his. . . not that.

garyn is the same height as a crate of apples and weighs half the weight of a sack of flour. he is also the most fucked up member of the guild. he made a deal with timmy in order to learn necromancy (unclear whether or not timmy was tricked into it) while he'd teach timmy healing magic. this got both of them kicked out of their homes for dabbling in forbidden magic/breaking the rules and they have nowhere to turn to but the dungeon

the reason garyn did this is because he is basically a mad scientist who loves "beautiful things," which in his view, are the strongest beings. he loves trying to turn the "beautiful" monsters in the dungeon into his minions but the other members of the guild are fine with this because it amounts to him killing everything while they take a break. there is a running gag that every time we hear about some fucked up villain necromancer we have to catch, everyone assumes it's garyn for a good moment. this attitude is half the reason why no one else wanted to be around this guild.

he keeps swearing and says "strength is everything" and talks like a villain because it's so funny hearing "ready, bastards?!" and "go to hell!" from the guy who's the same height as a crate of apples right before he heals everyone.

valy has a theory that garyn's obsession with strong monsters/people is because he's lonely and wants to be the strongest to be seen as worth being around, but garyn laughs it off. valy concludes that it doesn't matter what the truth is, because his mindset is "as long as you're willing to be useful, i'll make use of you until you drop" which garyn is just fine with. (it should be noted that he's remarkably loyal and brings the guild to safety even when you'd think he'd abandon them to die, though.)

he hits on salis because she's the most "beautiful" (strongest) non-monster in his eyes. salis isn't sure if she's supposed to be flattered or offended by this.

timmy is scared of him and is too timid to try and keep him from doing anything he's doing. salis thinks he's fucked up but as long as she gets her nails done during his experiments on the monsters she figures she can turn the other way. valy is like "yeah he's fucked up but he's useful." gello however is the only one who is not at all perturbed by whatever he's doing. he just takes a "he likes what he likes, i guess" approach to anything garyn does and treats it like he would a friend having an obvious fixation on bikini magazines or something.

this is timmy. he's very big but he's a softy who couldn't get through necromancer school because not because he wasn't good at the classes (he actually had perfect grades) he was too squeamish for raising monsters. he took the deal to teach garyn what he knew about necromancy so garyn would do his final exams for him and he could learn healing, but they got caught and kicked out

he's shy and cute and a coward but he's also. a little fucked up! for the guy too squeamish to be a necromancer, he's remarkably willing to fry people with misused healing magic! i keep imagining one day he'll just tie up the rest of the guild so they won't get hurt anymore but he'll be shy and cute as he does so.

also he rooms with garyn and it's a running gag that whenever garyn's laughing maniacally about killing monsters, timmy will tug at valy's sleeve and go "can i sleep in your room tonight? he's scaring me"

since salis is nicer to him than anyone else (in a tsundere way) he likes her a little, in a teenage "i'll become a better man for you when i grow up!" kind of way (he's not actually a teenager but he's the youngest in a guild so it still applies)

gello keeps trying to drag him into things that will be fun but timmy keeps being nervous because gello... is not the most reliable guy! like yeah he means well but he's also the guy who climbs cliffs and pounces to hunt rabbits just because and this isn't an environment an anxious mess feels safe in.

hmmm in terms of the saddest one? I'd say its we will wait and wait in that space, hands down. There's such a certain helplessness and hopelessness in loving someone so much, trying to save them over and over and over again, and knowing that the only way they live is if you're not part of their life. for Izuku, who desperately wants to save people, who got his power because he wanted to save Katsuki - urgh. The devastation. If any of them are worth a read for angst specifically, its that one.

ooooffff thank you for asking about the new mha chapter. its a really, really hard question to answer. there's a very melancholic vibe in the classroom, it seems. i feel for izuku. the amount of loss he's suffering through is immense. he failed to save the one person that he promised himself he's try to reach. he lost his quirk, his dream, broke his body to save everyone around him. he saw his heroes, his idols, his friends die and break and mutilate themselves and felt responsible for all of it. he is sixteen years old and the world as he knows it has changed. forever. how can that boy possibly be in a place where he can return to any semblance of normal?

i hope we have a chance to explore his grief. i hope there is a deku vs kacchan part 3, where katsuki beats izuku's 'i'm fine' out of him. i hope he cries and breaks down and tells him just how tired he is of pretending to be strong for everybody else. i hope they finally talk. that izuku acknowledges just how sincerely and completely katsuki admires him and cares for him. i hope that they can hold each other up, support each other. i hope that he can start to forgive himself. i hope, you know?

on that note, i desperately desperately hope that the 'mysterious' figure in the end is Tenko. listen, i've thought a lot about shigaraki's 'death' in the past week and a half. and, as always, i stand with the fact that horikoshi is an excellent writer and whichever way he decides to end this series and his characters is the right way. he has never been careless in the past ten years with these stories, and i dont have a single doubt he'll start now.

i've spent years talking about how shigaraki is by far my favorite antagonist in any anime ever, and that the LoV are, in every sense of the word, the greatest villain team of all time. horikoshi wrote them with as much love and sincerity as he did the heroes. if the choice to kill tomura is deliberate because it hits so hard, then i dont think it was the wrong choice. he stayed a villain until the very end, and we still loved him. we still sympathized with him. he will still haunt the narrative forever. he still was a hero to the villains. he still gave the disenfranchised hope. he still changed the world.

if he's dead, i need him to be grieved. by toga. by touya. by spinner. by izuku. i need him never to fade.

BUT. but. if he lives. if what disappeared was simply his 'vestige' of Decay and his physical body still exists somewhere, Quirkless. If he has a chance to live as Tenko Shimura. free from All for One. From the house that bound him. from the name Shigaraki itself..

i. i can't imagine a more powerful narrative than to give the villains a chance to live. to be cared for. to be loved. to see the world around them and know that it is with their own hands that they changed it. for people like them. for the future. if this is a story about hope, then that is what hope looks like to me.

hello (with the intent to talk nonsense again) (just wanted to talk about the anime again), but its been on my mind since i talked about how its not uncommon that akira cries within their canon, like there are times when akira is bothered by it (i feel there was a part in early pt2...? ill take it on akira once im rereading pt2) but in general akira is not ashamed of crying. they cry because theyre sad, they cry cuz theyre stressed, they cry cuz others cry....gran doesnt. they are very different stories, but i feel grans few instances of crying has been very centered around growing up alone (aside from the manga when they tear up upon leaving zinkenstill and seeing the sky). which is. understandable. but thats also the subject gran doesnt talk about. like, even in no rain no rainbow its noted thats a topic that they just dont open up about (unless its very in ur face a la seed of redemption, but even then their initial reaction was to leave rather than talk about it).

and then when combined with their other behaviors....like gran still struggles with opening up in general (akira is a lot more likely to make personal remarks) & letting ppl help like. the anime was unreal about these subjects

lines that lives in my head at all times. i know the s2 scene is gran reconciling with their feelings of loneliness BUT HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MOVE ON FROM THAAAATTTTT.............especially when theyre constantly told what a cool guy their dad was -> enforcing the idea of what a skyfarer is -> further not having a great time. i do think gran has an easier time now, and is more willing to rely on ppl (lots of ppl aks captain to rely on them, and lots of ppl learn they can rely on the crew as well), but they still struggle so bad with opening up to ppl & end up keeping most ppl at arm's length, whether they mean to or not. which is why i still feel so dizzy when i think of the recent main story points, cuz putting gran in a position where they can talk about their feelings even less is...............at least octavia knew what was up -ish but maannnnn......especially since even alliah comments on it... (i also think theres a topic in gran feeling abandoned, and proclaiming they wont abandon anyone)

(rmbrd something else) even tho gran doesnt cry a lot in front of others its still so obvious what theyre feeling T_T guy who can only hide their feelings when theyre busy acting to make a joke (pretending to be sad to fluster someone etc). theres the romeo event where romeo notes that neither gran, vyrn nor lyria are good liars. and in stuff like joels sr its awfully obvious as well that grans not doing great, even tho they wont tell anyone theyre busy assuming joels leaving the crew (which joel rightfully gets angry about cuz Why are you assuming im leaving without telling u?? and in general something i rly like. gran realizing how their behavior affects others. would like more of this, i think its sooooooo great
