Hermit a day May - Day 12 - Friend of Hermits!

For today's day, I couldn't decide who to draw and ended going all in!

I drew my favorite streamers and Zloy!

@askzloyxp and @lyraeon are from the Hermit Recap crew and I honestly love their content so much!

I watch Lyarrah's streams almost every night, it's a big part of my routine and it has been helping me to cope with a very rough part of my life, that I am currently passing through. (Lyarrah is such a nice person, I can't stress enough how grateful I am from making part of her community)

Zloy's videos are honestly a piece of art and deserves way more recognition than he currently receives! Every time I click a Zloy's video, old and new, I laugh so much that it hurts, the guy has the best type of sense of humor(That humor that is like a train wreck. You can't stop looking). Also as a not English native speaker myself who has a strong accent(I am Brazilian, Zloy is Russian), watching Zloy really makes me feel good about myself, I feel less like a out in this community that I love so much (Hermitcraft and now even Truly Bedrock as I started branching out these last months) I feel more right with myself, and I can say with 100% certainty that watching Zloy when I was freshly new to this community and still learning the ins and outs of this language was really important for me to find motivation to keep going.

@camronjk is Zombie Cleo's partner and also a streamer themselve! Their streams are so fun, and I always get out of them knowing more than when I entered, I love the way they mod their chat and they have build a safe space that is honestly impressive. As someone who works with mídia, I have learned so much just from hearing Camron talk, things that I am referring in a college paper now, I must say. So yeah go watch Cam, this is a threat /j

Anyway I wasn't sure what to draw them doing, so I drew them playing cards because I love poker <3

Hi. Ever since Cleo had their vtuber debut, I've been thinking about the dichotomy of Cam's pngtuber/sona and Cleo's vtuber and just how silly funny it is to me

I feel like I’ve heard the headcanon that all mcyt’s irl partners are some sort of god? (I feel this may have been in dsmp times?? Though I have definitely heard at least someone talk about it in the qsmp sense ((which I don’t watch so I wouldn’t know)) However this is very funny when implemented in hermitcraft considering the amount of them who have partners, not only in their life but are somehow ‘canon’ to hermitcraft (canon as in they’ve been mentioned or talked about within hermitcraft before ) Ferks, Mrs T, Dot(dot dash) …or even talks to a lot on some form of media (twitch, twitter, etc) CamronJK, Karn , Lauryn (badgerspanner)… there’s just all these gods who’ve stuck around for their little guy :3

As the original Joe Hills Simp and the weird pet raccoon of Cleo's Partner CamronJK, I might be able to illuminate on the situation of Joe and Cleo and why they mesh so well. I think cleo and joe work well together because English, History, and Geography teachers have a natural symbiosis. To be clear Joe is not an English or History Teacher, he just acts like one a lot.

And he teaches us things about history.

Plus Cleo gets to play the straight man, grounding Joe in don't do that it's too much work just do this much easier thing, and Joe doesn't listen.

There's also their Bully + Nerd dynamic, kinda like Baljeet and Bufard from Phineas and Ferb. In fact their entire relationship is built on the basis of Joe and Cleo acting at odds with each other.

Joe Knows where he wants to go, but doesn't know exactly how to get there. Luckily he's been doing that for so long that he may as well have night vision. And like a lot of creatures with night vision, he doesn't handle daylight very well. And damn is Cleo a deadly laser.

I started writing this while high.

I think I make good points, but also honestly it's just a great dynamic between people who have been friends for a long time. They are dry, Joe is great at being a woobie. They are both nerdy enough to get eachother's references and niche enough in different directions to be able to generate thoughts and synthesize ideas and jokes upon these thigns being brought to light.

I finally get to show off my piece for the @morningstarzine ! I decided to dedicate my drawing to @camronjk who’s streams I watched while I worked 😊🐻🐮

This was finished a few months ago, so I picked games that reflected what Cam was playing often at the time; Disney Speedstorm, Katamari, Minecraft, and their Art Streams!

Despite it being pretty old now, I wouldn’t change much of this and I still love how it turned out. Hope you like it Cam!

Hermit a day May - Day 24 - Cleo!

Ok so, the thing is, I keep putting Cleo in non-Cleo days, so I thought it was fair she wasn't alone in her day. And like I really do enjoy @camronjk and if I can sneak yet another fanart of them in this event, I will do that, because God knows I am shameless and I have favorites.

I had this image of them in a Beauty and the Beast dance pose in my head fot some time now, so I gave in my demons and here we are! Also I spent 30 minutes going over BATB scenario images, until I realized that duh, Cleo has build a castle, less work for me!

Since I reblogged that post from CamronJK about Monopoly GO, I'd feel bad if I didn't also remind people to remove it now if they don't actually wanna keep playing it, it takes up a lot of battery and is also extremely manipulative

(Also definitely be careful if you have a tendency for gambling addiction, it's very clearly targetting you in particular)

I didn't ACTUALLY Eat batteries. I just used to lick 9 volts until my taste buds got burned off.

Someone, I won't name names, @camronjk , heard this story and decided that I eat batteries.

I denied this for about a year before i realized that it's funnier if i say I did eat batteries, but only sometimes.
