St. Ives
Really like this product, but it is a bit rough so one has to be really gentle. Truly leaves my skin clean when I still have makeup. Although like I said, you have to be careful when washing one's face because it can be a bit rough.

#liveradiently with st ives
i received a tube of st ives blemish control apricot scrub in the campus voxbox from influenster   and i got it at a perfect time too because in the midspring early summer months my face breaks out with a vengeance and it isn’t a pretty sight i love this scrub because it smells fantastic and dries out my acne without turning my face into a dry peeling mess like other scrubs.  so i’m going to be living radiantly full time because this is going to be a permanent part of my skin care regimen

St. Ives Blemish Control Scrub
Love the apricot fragrance, makes my face feel fresh. The little microbeads exfoliate the skin well, and afterwards, my face feels smooth and clean. Bonus: it doesn’t dry out my face like other scrubs do!

#CampusVoxBox
Let me just say I was so excited to have received my Campus Vox Box from Influenster for testing purposes! It has some really great stuff in it like Sour Punch candies (my favorite candy), St. Ives blemish control scrub, a Softlips Cube, Jergens Tanning Mousse, and L’Oreal Paris shampoo and Conditioner. These were all great products that totally match my lifestyle! The Sour Punch candies were so delicious and a great sweet treat to quench my sweet tooth. The face scrub makes my skin soft and blemish free. The Softlips cube is so cute and keeps my lips smooth. The tanning mousse is perfect for giving my skin a beautiful sunless color without the harmful sun rays. And the shampoo/conditioner leaves my hair feeling silky and straight all day. So glad I got to try these products!

Who doesn't like getting free stuff to try out? Thanks Influenster! My apricot scub is actually in my bathroom. It’s in my bathroom for a reason..it’s my go to facial scrub (: I’m probably going to give the Jergen’s instant sun to my friends since I’ve gotten tan enough from spring break.

campus voxbox
so i’m back with my second voxbox that i got this month along with some reviews of the products that i received  ( disclaimer  i have received these products compliments of influenster for testing purposes)
the campus voxbox lineup
L'Oreal Paris Advanced Straight System
as some of you readers know i wear my hair natural and i haven’t straightened my hair since i started wearing it natural at 20 so i passed this one off to my mom and she says that it’s wonderful and her hair stayed straight the whole day after using it .
Softlips Cube
returning from the deans list voxbox  ( and ironically in the same flavor i got last time) is the softlips lip cube and i absolutely love the fresh mint flavor it makes my lips feel cool and baby soft.
sour punch punchies & sour punch rainbow straws
this time around i was able to enjoy the candy from my voxbox without my greedy brother eating the goods before i test them and this candy isn’t for the faint of heart first it starts out sweet then like a punch to the face you get hit with sour goodness.
St. Ives® Blemish Control Apricot Scrub
this couldn’t have come at a more perfect time because this is the time of year my face breaks out  big time and i love this scrub because it smells fantastic and dries out my acne without turning my face into a dry peeling mess like other scrubs.
JERGENS Natural Glow Instant Sun Tanning Mousse
normally i don’t use tanning lotion because my skin is naturally brown but i was a little pale from staying in doors all winter so i decided to give the mousse a try instead of passing it off to someone else and i don’t regret my decision because it isn’t greasy like tanning lotion tends to be and it didn’t make me look like a Florida orange like i thought it would it left my skin with a sultry bronze glow.

Living Radiantly
Influenster posed me with the question: What makes you live radiantly? Initially I though of material items, such as my name-brand make up, my Michael Kors purse and my dozens of shoes. However, my radiance is much deeper than that. My radiance stems from the optimism I possess when it is so easy to feel pessimistic. It is my sense of pride, my confidence, and my well-being. It is my warm-hearted tenderness that causes me to care so intimately about the ones I love, or those who surround me. Without these positive aspects I would be unable to state that I am living radiantly. To me, living radiantly has to do with feeling comfortable in your own body, and sharing this comfort with everyone else around you. What is a life worth living if it is full of misery? Therefore, I believe a successful and radiant life comes from self-confidence, high self-esteem and altruism. My advice is to give back because you never know when you will need some guidance. Smile bright and your radiance will show.

Campus Vox Box
The campus VoxBox was awesome! So many great freebies, it was definitely my favorite of all the ones that I’ve received! The only thing I didn’t like was how small the sample of L’oreal’s Advanced Straight System was. I have very long hair, so it wasn’t nearly enough. But other than that, it was great!

Campus VoxBox roundup
So about a month ago I received the #campusvoxbox from Influenster. I’ve now had sufficient time to test out all the products and I’m ready to let you know what I think!
1. Sour Punch Punchies/ Sour Punch Rainbow Straws:
I’ll do a two for one review here since these two items were similar and I have the same things to say about both, for the most part.
These are delicious! They aren’t too sweet or too sour. They come in a bunch of fruity flavors. The Punchies are little candies with a harder outer shell and a chewy center. The Rainbow Straws are your typical gummy/chewy candy (think licorice straws) and they have a sour granulated coating. My favorite thing about both these products is they don’t have gelatin, so they are vegetarian!
Verdict: have not bought before, would buy in the future.
2. L’oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Ultimate Straight System:
This came in 3 steps. The first was a shampoo that was very thick and lathered to almost a conditioner-like feel. The second was an intermediate step meant to be used once a week that felt like a very thick conditioner. The final step, the conditioner, was very lightweight but still felt very creamy.
I did not expect to be impressed by these, but I was. The scent was light but pleasant, and my hair afterwards felt very soft and was super shiny. It seemed very hydrated. I can’t tell whether it helped straighten my hair or not, as it is already naturally straight. My only complaint is that the conditioner took a while to rinse out.
Verdict: have not bought before, would buy in the future.
3. Softlips Cube:
My Softlips Cube was the “fresh mint” scent/flavor.
I thought the scent/flavor was nice, the packaging is cute and works well, and I like that there is an SPF 15. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel as though this balm hydrated or improved my lips. If anything, they felt drier after it wore off.
Verdict: have not bought before, wouldn’t buy.
4. St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub:
This is a face scrub with salicylic acid that claims to prevent and treat acne.
I have used this before, and I love it. I only used it once a week for this, and it did not irritate my cystic acne or dry my skin out. I also feel that it helped improve skin texture and prevent new breakouts. It has a very light, pleasant, apricot scent.
Verdict: have bought before, would buy again!
5. Jergens® Natural Glow® Instant Sun™ Sunless Tanning Mousse
This comes in a pump bottle which releases a foam tanner that is rubbed into the skin.
I should preface this by saying I don’t usually use self tanners, and I am also very fair. The “deep bronze” label on the bottle made me a little nervous! But after testing on skin that’s usually covered, I was pleasantly surprised. It was not too dark (it made my skin about 1-2 shades darker), didn’t rub off on my clothes, seemed like a natural color (not to orange-y or too cool) and didn’t smell bad!
Verdict: I don’t plan to start using self-tanners in the future, but if I did, I’d pick this one up!
*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Campus VoxBox
I cannot express how excited I was when I received the email stating I would be getting an Influenster VoxBox. I was even more excited when I found out that it was the Campus VoxBox, especially because I was really wanting to test out the Jergens Instant Sun mousse. It should be no surprise that this box did not disappoint. I think my favorite product was the one that I was most excited about because it made me tan without the hassle. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of the St. Ives face scrub. Plus, not to mention, it smells amazing. The item that I like the lease was the L’Oreal shampoo/conditioner, solely for the fact that the sample was just too small. It barely lasted me, due to my thick, long mane of hair, three washes. I feel that I was not able to form an accurate opinion of this product. I was also unable to see any results, which may be good (it did not hurt my hair/scalp) or it may be bad (it is a lack-luster product). Unfortunately, I will not know unless I go buy the products, which I may be tempted to do once my current ones run out. In regards to the Sour Punch candy, it was delicious. It added the perfect amount of sweetness to my finals week. It made me reminisce on my past, particularly because Sour Punch Straws were my candy of choice when I was a child. I forgot how much I missed them. And, last but not least, the Softlips Cube. I was not happy about receiving the vanilla flavored one, but I got over that once I realized it tasted amazing. It also made my lips feel silky smooth. The only downside of this product is that it is just too bulky. It would be nice to be able to carry it in my pocket, but that is just not possible with the cube shape. Although, I must admit, the shape is very unique and I quite like it. Overall, I am sooooooooooooo glad that I was chosen for this VoxBox. Thank you Influenster!
