Campher In Hoodoo.
Tumblr media
Camphor has some medical uses like anti-inflammatory, coughing to name a few.
But spiritually it can be used to protect, cleanse a space from negative energies, spirits, hexes, curses, and evil eye etc.
Now the truth is, it's not that good for protection but as a cleanser its Great. 👍
I would recommend if using raw to add it to water to dilute it because of its strong smell & it's also toxic keep away from children. You can also buy the premade wash like the wind down below I would recommend a wash.
Tumblr media
If your going to use raw camphor, because of its strong smell you can just open it and leave it out for a bit for cleaning. (Again be careful its strong because some are made now with turpentine oil)
Last: As a cleanser it can push everything out all spiritual activity kind of like tar water so don't keep your camphor near your ancestor altar.

BE WARY OF AFRICAN LEADERS LOVED BY THE WEST
Many are the times when we are told Africa’s problems are a result of bad leadership. While this is true to a certain extent, it does not tell the whole story.
Bad leaders in Africa are not a coincidence, but the result of colonisers’ calculations.
In the past, the West has not only ousted progressive African leaders, but installed or propped up puppets and tyrants, such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Mobutu Sese Seko and Gabon’s Omar Bongo. These leaders are reported to have colluded with Western corporations to loot their countries’ resources while they lined their pockets.
In this video clip, South African content creator and blogger Darren Campher (@darrencampher.com on TikTok and @darrencampher.com_ on IG) explains how the West fights progressive African leaders

Rainfarn als Geflügel (rote) Milben Schreck!
Hey Hühnerfreunde! 🐔🌿 🌼

CAN vs IRE Dream11 Prediction T20 World Cup
Tumblr media
The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has been a thrilling ride so far, with upsets and nail-biting finishes. While the likes of the USA have surprised everyone, the upcoming match between Canada (CAN) and Ireland (IRE) might not be for the top spot, but it holds immense importance for both teams.
Canada's Dream Run and Ireland's Redemption Chance
Canada, the lowest-ranked team in the tournament, has shown incredible fighting spirit. They almost pulled off a victory against the high-flying USA in their opening encounter, only falling short in the final overs. A win against Ireland would be a historic moment for Canadian cricket, putting them on the map and inspiring future generations.
Ireland, on the other hand, needs a win to redeem themselves after a disappointing loss to India. Their batting faltered against a disciplined Indian bowling attack, and they'll be looking to bounce back with a strong performance.
Dream11 Prediction: Picking Your Fantasy Warriors
With both teams desperate for a win, the CAN vs IRE match promises to be a close contest. Here's our take on the CAN vs IRE Dream11 Prediction T20 World Cup to help you build your winning fantasy team:
Batsmen
Canada:
Shreyas Movva (WK): Canada's wicket-keeper batsman has shown good touch in recent outings and can be a valuable pick for his wicket-keeping points as well.
Saad Bin Zafar (C): The experienced captain is a crucial player for Canada, both with the bat and his leadership.
Nicholas Kirton: A technically sound batsman, Kirton can provide stability in the middle order.
Ireland:
Paul Stirling (C): A destructive opener, Stirling can single-handedly take the game away from the opposition on his day.
Andy Balbirnie: The experienced opener is another reliable option at the top of the order.
Harry Tector: A talented all-rounder, Tector can contribute with both bat and ball.
Bowlers
Canada:
Navneet Dhaliwal: The left-arm pacer has been impressive with his swing bowling and can pick up early wickets.
Dillon Heyliger: Another promising young fast bowler, Heyliger can be a wicket-taking threat.
Nikhil Dutta: The leg-spinner can provide variety in the attack and trouble the Irish batsmen.
Ireland:
Josh Little: The left-arm seamer is Ireland's pace spearhead and can pick up crucial wickets.
Mark Adair: The all-rounder can contribute with both his medium pace and handy off-spin.
Curtis Campher: Another valuable all-rounder, Campher can chip in with wickets and handy runs down the order.
All-Rounders:
Canada:
Saad Bin Zafar (C): As mentioned earlier, the captain can be a valuable all-rounder option with his contributions with both bat and ball.
Ireland:
Harry Tector: A talented all-rounder, Tector can be a great pick for his ability to score runs and take wickets.
Curtis Campher: Another option, Campher offers a similar skillset to Tector.
Captain and Vice-Captain Picks
This is a crucial decision, and it depends on your playing style. Here are some options:
Safe Option: Paul Stirling (C) - Ireland's explosive opener, and Josh Little (VC) - Ireland's reliable pacer.
Risky Option: Saad Bin Zafar (C) - Canada's captain, looking to lead from the front, and Navneet Dhaliwal (VC) - Canada's exciting young fast bowler.
Remember, these are just suggestions. It's important to consider the pitch conditions, recent form, and player matchups when making your final picks.

Rashid Khan Breaks 14-year-old Record To Produce Best T20I Bowling Figure By Afghan Captain
Tumblr media
While Mohammad Ishaq: Rashid Khan etched his name into the record books, claiming the best figures by an Afghanistan captain in T20Is, a feat previously held by Nawroz Mangal for over 14 years during the opening T20I clash between Afghanistan and Ireland. Rashid's spell of 3 wickets for just 19 runs in four overs showcased his mastery with the ball and underlined his pivotal role in Afghanistan's bowling arsenal. With crucial dismissals of Ireland's key batsmen, including Paul Stirling, Curtis Campher, and Gareth Delany, Rashid spearheaded Afghanistan's efforts to contain the opposition, limiting Ireland to a modest total of 149 for 6 in their 20 overs. Despite Rashid's heroics, Afghanistan faced a setback in their pursuit of victory, succumbing to a 38-run defeat at the hands of a resilient Irish side. While Mohammad Ishaq showcased promise with a spirited knock of 32 runs off 22 balls, the Afghan batting lineup faltered against Ireland's formidable bowling attack, with Ben White emerging as the chief destroyer with four crucial scalps. Despite contributions from veteran all-rounder Mohammad Nabi, Afghanistan failed to overcome Ireland's relentless pressure, ultimately falling short of the target. As the series unfolds, Afghanistan will be eager to regroup and bounce back in the second T20I showdown scheduled for Sunday, March 17. Read the full article

“Heritage is the golden thread that connects past, present and future”, says Rijk.  “At Muratie it is more than our historical buildings and artefacts, and the famous residents immortalised by our wines. It is the stories of traditions and relationships that have endured through centuries, also values and a team culture that are actively nurtured as part of our living heritage.”
STORIES WITH RIJK
Date: Monday 25 September
Time: 11h00 – 13h00
Cost per person: R495 (includes History Talk, Wine Tasting and a branded Muratie glass)
Rijk will also be presenting “Stories With Rijk” at the Woordfees in Stellenbosch on 12 October, and more events will follow at Muratie in due course – so watch this space!
Muriate, the historic estate established in 1685 in the beautiful Knorhoek Valley north of Stellenbosch, is one of the oldest farms in South Africa. With this age comes a remarkable legacy passed on by the many extraordinary characters from the farm’s colourful past. Thanks to the Melck family’s passionate guardianship, Muratie is a haven of heritage.
Magnificent ancient oak trees guarding over the estate, and a white gabled memorial celebrating all the previous owners through the decades, greet you on arrival and set the scene for an enchanting experience.
Wherever you are on the estate you cannot help being moved by a sense of the many generations who came before, whose stories still resonate among the old walls of a farm where it feels like very little has changed over the centuries. The unique old-world ambience is almost tangible, with the estate’s prized heritage captured in every nook and cranny. Historic buildings, crumbling statues, ancient wine-making equipment, the rickety cob-webbed tasting room, age-old stained-glass windows, original tartaric-encrusted fermentation tanks, antique carpets, original art, relics, artefacts, and memorabilia all adorn a unique and magical environment honouring a bygone era.
A multi-sensory wine experience awaits you at Muratie where ‘Every Wine Tells a Story’. The estate’s wines are named after the intriguing individuals from the past who moulded Muratie as we know it today, each wine with its own charming story described on the back label. Says Rijk Melck, “When you sip on our wines you are tasting history for yourself.”
“Each of our wines has its own unique personality and a fascinating tale to tell,” continues Rijk. “Our flagship white and red blends are named Laurens Campher and Ansela van der Caab, commemorating the first owner of Muratie and the remarkable love affair between him and the slave girl Ansela who eventually became his wife; Our Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz pay tribute respectively to our legendary forefather, Martin Melck who established Muratie’s Melck legacy in the 1700’s, and my father Ronnie, a seventh-generation direct descendant of Martin Melck, who turned a dream into reality when he brought Muratie back into the Melck fold in 1987; Our Pinot Noir is called George Paul Canitz after the famous artist and charismatic bon vivant who made the first Pinot Noir in South Africa; Muratie’s Merlot honours Canitz’s intrepid daughter, Alberta Annemarie, who, upon her father’s death in 1959, became one of the first female wine farm owners in the country; Our Lady Alice Cap Classique celebrates Lady Alice Stanford, who, as the wife of a senator who bought Muratie in 1909, was a high society hostess of note adept at turning every event into a dance party; and our Cape Vintage pays tribute to Muratie’s legendary barefoot winemaker, Ben Prins.”

Mustafizur offers a glimpse of his return to his very best
Tumblr media
Before the start of the game against Ireland, Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha stated that Chandika Hathurusingha was waiting to witness Mustafizur Rahman returns back to his top form.
A left-arm pace-bowler showed enough promise in the past, and there was a debate as to whether he had reached his peak or not.
In the game on Sunday (May 14, 2014) in the match against Ireland there was ample evidence from the veteran player that he still has magic in his. He certainly appeared too hot for Irish batsmen after being rested for the first two matches against Ireland and that could have some connection to his current performance.
Mustafizur, who returned to the crease with a score of 4 wickets for 44, was deemed the best player of the match however, more importantly, appeared to be having fun while bowling even though he was under pressure, if not for anything else.
The hosts were chasing 274 and were enjoying themselves at 223 with 3 wickets less. Along with two great batters, Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker’s epic runs contributed to the last match. They needed around 51 runs on 54 balls only, and the skipper, Tamim Iqbal, asked Nazmul Hossain to ball in the 42nd over to get their opponent’s wickets as soon as possible. Nazmul Hossain eventually became the arm with the golden shine. However, Tector failed to make a half-century in the last game, in which he was trying to play his best shot on the speedy ball delivery.
Mustafizur who was the Stephen Doheny as his opener during his first spell looked like he was at his best for the last overs and then it was the Fizz performance from there onwards. The Bangladesh player has taken amazing wickets in the 50-over match, as he knocked out Curtis Campher, who contributed just a single run; next was George Dockrell with 3 runs; also, Stephen Doheny; and at last, Lorcan Tucker’s wicket, which helped Bangladesh dominate the game against Ireland in a 50-over match on Sunday.
Mustafizur demonstrated his death-bowling skill by getting rid of Campher and Dockrell Both of them being caught between mid-off and in the cover when he manipulated them with his variations, and then when he bowled Tucker his third wicket in consecutive overs for just fifty, it took the energy from the Ireland run chase.
After a while, Mustafizur seemed to be more alert and he attempted different strategies. He played with a decent pace, but more importantly, he attempted to change his angles every now and then, and, if needed, he walked around the wicket and then over the wicket.
The Irish did not manage to get his pace to change and in his last game, he tried bowling full lengths and Yorkers, something he never try very often in recent times.
“As per my knowledge, the three overs of Najmul and Mustafizur were a turning point for us,” says Tamim after the match finished.
"I am sure all the people sitting here (in the press conference room) that include me never thought that we can win this game at one point," he added.
Winning in the above-mentioned games is such a great thing for the entire Bangladesh team. We had a great possibility of losing the game against Ireland, but our bowlers found a way to dominate the game against them. The teamwork always shows up, and we are glad that we have great bowlers who bowled amazingly in today’s match. I believe in their work, as they just needed good confidential support from their seniors, and they played such a perfect game. It was not an easy task to chase 274, but the batsmen of our team have also managed to win the game in the last 10-over, he said.
Hasan Mahmud is known to be an aggressive bowler, and at that moment he showed up with his aggressive attitude towards taking massive wickets of his opponents’ teams. He is the youngest and most talented cricketer on our side, and I would like to see him bowl in the ODI series. You make your bowling perfect by practicing, and that’s the reason why you are the greatest cricketer on your respective team, the coach said.
Bangladesh finished their season at the ICC Super League at the third spot with a score of 155 points. Tamim is certainly confident heading into the world tournament alongside the likes of Hasan and co, however, the bowling line-up will be robust when they have Mustafizur returning to his previous form. He certainly displayed signs of the same.
