*loud voice coming from megaphone* GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING CAMPERS!!! thank you all for coming out to the kickoff to this fun little tradition we have at camp elwesbian (formerly known as camp sourced4, camp morbedlesbian, and many more before that): FINALS WEEK!!! so, before we start this fun week of doing it scared and learning, we like to ask everyone a little question.

to the wonderful campers of camp elwesbian,

we've reached the end of the line. the past 2 weeks of work have been some of the most rewarding of my life. i've grown as a student more generally, a writer, a friend, a denizen of the earth, and most importantly, as a camp counselor. and no matter how hard it felt in the moment to revise that paragraph or study for a spanish test, it was you all who made it all seem achievable. the polling data you provided was undoubtedly useful in achieving all that i have.

and now that i'm coming back home from a full year doing something very scary (and possibly even a bit stupid), i will remember all the people who helped me along the way. both my real life flesh and blood friends and teachers and you guys. so thanks for being the best campers this counselor could ask for

*coming out of the woods, covered in sticks and blood* hi campers. hope everyone has fun bowling. i have just realized that i have not done my sheets recently enough and have found myself with free time. but i also have a spanish speaking assignment in a week that’s ambitiously cumulative. usually your head camp counselor is mostly put together but shit is really so fucked right now and i think i need the help of the coolest kids this side of the mississippi to lead the way

however it was funny to have a vase as an icon because, while i'm sure it got old for all of yall campers of camp elwesbian, it was funny to say "it's literaly a vase. you can't fight a vase" to any sort of reblog game about my icon
