Percy Jackson Headcannons

- he has so much respect for his mother

- he has enough sass to compete with the whole aphrodite cabin (expert of sarcasm)

- he loves deep and meaningful conversations

- this man is so clueless about flirting and he can’t tell when someones flirting with him but when annabeth and him start dating he’s very romantic like what-

- he has favourite sea animals to have conversations with

- he’s definently more of a act first, think later person (which is why annabeth is in charge of mostly everything)

- he refuses to eat fish (any form of seafood)

- he smells obnoxiously like pizza?

- when i say he has terrible bed hair i mean TERRIBLE

- i feel like he would chew on those jumper string things whenever he’s nervous (annabeth always tells him to stop but he can’t break the habit)

- LOVES the rain. (this kid would fully sprint out of his cabin on the rare occasion it rains at camp)

- he shares his dumb thoughts outloud.

- the type of guy to sing REALLY loud in the shower (hea really bad)

Some pjo headcannons i have are: 

that demigods are all above average height. The “short ones” are like an inch or two, but the tall ones are Tall. This is due to their parents being LITERAL GODS and are, if not disguised as mortals, CANONICALLY GIANT. is this unsupported by cannon yes do i care no.

 Also their blood is slightly sparkly, like somebody put gold glitter in it cause, yknow, inchor. 

Also the big three kids arent the only ones with kickass powers, everyone has them, the big three + demeter (she is just as old and powerful as them she was nerfed i will die on this hill)kids are just a bit stronger and more destructive. 

All demigods are faster/stronger than the average human and heal faster even without the help of nectar and ambrosia

Just- these kids are literally demiGODS. several demigods in the myths became gods themselves. Let them be powerful as fuck. Let them struggle with these weird powers. Let them have a learning curve. let mortals notice “hey this person i know? one of my friends? theyre existing kinda weird and i cant explain it”

Let it be that when they come to camp half blood or jupiter everyone has the moment of “several things make a lot more sense now”

an: two weeks without a new episode, I can't take it anymore 😭😭😭

summary: the one where you and percy met at yancy academy, and what your relationship would be like.

You met Percy at Yancy Academy, and well, you quickly became friends – best friends, to be precise, since your room was conveniently next to his.

When Grover arrived at the school, he became more than worried about finding two demigod kids together.

As you excelled in your studies – you LOVED studying – you decided to help Percy out. However, Percy always seemed too distracted, often catching him staring at you.

Percy looks at the notebook where you were scribbling math problems and realizes he hasn't paid attention to anything you were explaining for the past twenty minutes.

"So, um, how do you solve this math problem again?" He asks.

You point the pen at him with a stern expression. "Percy, we've been through this like ten times!"

Percy gazes at you with a mischievous smile on his lips because, by the gods, he finds you incredibly beautiful with the braid you decided to wear today.

"Sorry, got distracted. You look really nice today." Percy says, shrugging.

"Focus, Percy! We need to get through this." You roll your eyes, but your cheeks are flushed, and Percy still finds it adorable.

You throw the pen cap at Percy, lightly hitting him on the head when you realize he wasn't paying attention again.

"Ow! What was that for?" He puts his hand where the cap hit him and pretends to be in pain.

"For not paying attention! Now, let's get back to work." You stick out your tongue.

Laughing, Percy tries to throw the pen cap back at you, but you quickly dodge, and poor Grover ends up being the target.

You two became an inseparable duo, like shadows to each other, and constantly causing Grover massive headaches.

Percy would talk about you to his mom.

Percy hesitated for a moment before dialing the number. As his mother picked up on the other end, he launched into a torrent of words about you.

"Hey, Mom, you won't believe what happened today. So, there's this new girl, Y/N, and she's amazing. Seriously, she's the smartest person I know, and she's always helping me out with my studies. And she's got this incredible sense of humor. We're like a team, Mom, inseparable. I don't know how I'd get through the day without her."

Sally listened with a gentle smile on her face, recognizing the familiar signs of her son being captivated. She knew Percy well enough to notice the subtle shifts in his tone and enthusiasm.

"Percy, it sounds like you really enjoy spending time with this Y/N," Sally said, her voice warm and knowing.

"Yeah, Mom, it's like... I don't know. She's just different, you know? Everything feels better when she's around. I can't explain it."

Sally chuckled softly, recognizing the telltale signs of young love. "Percy, sweetheart, sounds like you might be developing feelings for this girl."

Percy stammered for a moment, realizing that his mother had caught on. "I, uh, Mom, we're just friends. Really good friends."

Sally's laughter echoed through the phone. "Alright, Percy. But remember, love has a way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it.”

When you first heard about blue food, you didn't believe Percy's words, leading to a heated argument. It all ended when Percy pulled out a pack of blue cookies from his backpack. To your surprise, they turned out to be the best cookies you'd ever tasted.

During one of your study sessions, Percy calling you a beautiful girl, and the nickname sticking because you blushed every time he called you that.

Percy only realized he liked you when they arrived at the camp and you wanted to help Percy defeat the Minotaur, but he wouldn't allow it because he had already lost his mother and couldn't bear to lose his girl.

He told Grover not to let you follow him and instructed him to take you safely to camp.

The air in the forest was thick with tension as Percy and you faced off against the looming figure of the Minotaur. Determination burned in your veins as you gripped your weapon tightly, ready to fight alongside Percy.

But before you could make a move, Percy's voice cut through the silence, firm and commanding. "Grover, take Y/N back to camp. Keep her safe," he ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Your heart sank as you realized what he was saying. "Percy, I can help. We can fight this thing together," you protested, your voice trembling with emotion.

"I need you to stay safe, Y/N," Percy said, his tone unusually severe. "Grover will take you to camp. I can't lose you."

Tears welled up in your eyes, the raw emotion of the situation hitting you like a tidal wave. "I can't just stand by and do nothing while you face that monster alone."

Percy shook his head, a mixture of frustration and fear in his gaze. "Y/N. I can't risk losing you. Not after what happened to my mom."

A heavy silence settled between you two, the gravity of the situation sinking in. Percy cupped your face gently, his eyes searching yours. "I need you to trust me, okay? Grover will take care of you."

Tears welled up in your eyes, and you nodded reluctantly. "Just promise me you'll be safe, Percy."

He gave you a solemn look before pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. "I promise. Now go with Grover. I'll find you after this is over."

Grover approached, his expression mirroring the somber mood. "We should go, Y/N."

After that, you swore to yourself that the next time you saw Percy, you would tell him you liked him. That seemed like the smartest thing to do.

As Percy stirred awake, his eyes met yours, and a small smile played on his lips. "Hey, beautiful girl," he greeted, a newfound warmth in his tone.

You blushed at the endearing nickname he had given you, but concern soon took over. "I thought I was going to lose you," you admitted, holding a small cup of ambrosia-infused nectar.

His expression softened, his hand reaching for yours. "You're not getting rid of me that easily."

Relief washed over you, and you laughed, playfully nudging his shoulder. "Good. Because there's something I need to tell you."

Percy raised an eyebrow, curious. "What's that?"

He looked at you with curiosity, encouraging you to continue. With a deep breath, you confessed, "I... I really like you."

Percy's eyes lit up, a genuine smile spreading across his face. "You do?" he asked, as if surprised by the revelation.

You nodded, a shy smile gracing your lips. "Yeah, Percy, I really do."

"Well, beautiful girl, I think you're stuck with me now," he declared, a playful glint in his eyes. As you leaned in closer, he gently pulled you to lie beside him on the bed. When you rested your head against his chest, Percy winced in pain.

"Careful," he joked, "I just survived a Minotaur. Your head might be more dangerous than that."

You chuckled softly, and Percy couldn't help but smile despite the discomfort. "You know," he mused, "your laughter is my favorite sound in the whole world."

Thinking about Hera/Juno HEAVY so here are some headcannons for her that aren’t just ‘ooh jealoussss!’:

• calls every Mortal (and even her IMMORTAL children) she meets ‘Baby’ or ‘Son/Daughter/My child’ because she is THE Sky Mother of the cosmos and she genuinely views mortals as her children to look after and visit and love just as any other mother would.

• instead of being Jealous of Zeus’ escapades and hating the victims, she’s come to realize that Zeus does not love them. She has an understanding that the objects of his obsessions are not truly wise to his tricks, and therefore it would be unfair to punish them. And while she loves Zeus deeply, she understands that he is a being with free will. And sometimes beings with free will, even immortal and powerful ones, can make numerous mistakes and act childishly. She encourages him to never lie to her, and is stern with him when he cheats, but he does make efforts to act more appropriately when he slips.

• She’s become increasingly happy as she’s left Olympus more and become more active in the Mortal realm. She loves blessing Weddings between halfbloods, and she loves helping deliver Babies in hospitals and taking care of the Mothers as well.

• Helps turn Olympian Politics into a healthier system and makes sure new systems are put in place to help solve the gods’ political problems in a healthy and useful manor. If anyone has something bugging them on Olympus, Mom will definitely help sort things out without being Biased or showing Favoritism.

•Has a GIANT and I mean HUGE ‘Family Reunion’ day each year on Olympus where the gods are ALL expected to put their duties in the hands of their Nature Spirits or other Workers and COME HOME FOR DINNER. They pretend to be really inconvenienced but not once has anyone ever said they weren’t coming.

• anyone who prays in relation to their family, especially for their marriage or a mother praying for her child/a child praying for their mother always comes to be blessed by Hera/Juno.

• Moves all of the Unclaimed half-bloods into her cabin. It was a monumental occasion because she came down herself, marched right up to the Hermes cabin, and politely asked all of the Unclaimed kids to come home with her. She then leads them to her cabin where Cookies and new Bunks are waiting for them. Chiron was ABSOLUTELY MORTIFIED but something about this new attitude of hers was refreshing and he loved the idea.

• Juno started THE daycare of New Rome. Any family that is blessed to survive long enough to have a child in New Rome is FIERCELY protected by her.

• if any Half-blood teenager were to come to either camp Pregnant, Hera/Juno automatically throws her own Symbol above them to show she is watching and protecting them. She also does this to urge the parent of the half-blood to claim them. (For the record though if a half-blood comes to camp pregnant Hera and her staff have full claim to them. Yes their godly parent is still gonna claim them, and eventually they move out if they so choose, but The Hera Cabin is THE cabin a new or expecting Parent would want to be in.)

• Camp Jupiter had to expand because Juno likes to come to earth and sniff out Roman Half-Bloods as young as possible and just kind of… takes them home with her to camp.

Hades Cabin Headcannons

Some of my headcannons for Hades Cabin kids

Most break the curfew rule and can be found strolling around at midnight due to extreme insomnia

Speaking of insomnia

I've never meant a Hades kid who didn't have it

They basically are the reason Camp Halfblood has so many melatonin gummies

But they rarely work anymore at this point

RINGS

They all have a bunch of really cool rings and jewelry

We're just gonna assume there's some sorta way to listen to music at camp

So at any meal at least half of the table can be found zoning out listening to music of any kind

And speaking of music

The Hades Cabin playlist ranges from 80's dad rock to typical "emo" music to classical music and I just know someone put Dear Evan Hansen or Beetlejuice on there

I believe the cabin is very calm and dim and quiet

So when anyone comes in there they start to feel relaxed due to the less harsh light and overall calm atmosphere

2nd to the Hermes Cabin

If you need something someone in the Hades Cabin has it

Like you need dental floss someone has a whole stash somewhere

Or a certain snack

There's a whole corner dedicated to it

Also its not very uncommon to walk in there and see someone passed out

Shadow travel takes a lot out of them so usually there's at least one person passed out

since percy had been a toddler, he had been dealing with a monster in his very own home. the way he was treated when he was home alone with him made percy grow up wary of authority figures. he had severe trust issues and accidentally ruined his friendships if they showed even the slightest sign of aggression. although he loved his mom, being home was a nightmare for him. no matter how many monsters he faced throughout his years of being at camp halfblood none were worse than the one that had been living in his home. the things he had done to him were unimaginable and so severely degrading that percy had nightmares about it for years. he would have random panic attacks if someone said something that he had once told him or made a joke that was similar to anything the creature that lived in his home used to say. because of the monster, percy grew up too fast. he was shown the real world before he was taught how to protect himself from it. in some ways, it made him stronger - he has a no tolerance policy to bullying, absolutely hates it and would never stand for it, it was why he always talked back to the snobby gods who thought they were better than everyone. it was why he battled with clarisse on the regular. it was why he hated luke so very much when he decided to betray them. in other ways, it ruined him.

Reactions to 'Little Do They Know'

Draco would see her one day, laughing with some friends

And boy, was he in love

He never bought the 'love at first sight' shit until now

But Drew liked to give him hell

She hated him

Until she found out that Draco didn't care what she thought of him

At least, that's how he played it

Until Draco angrily kisses her

And she kisses back

And it totally wasn't hot

When Percy found out, things got interesting

This is Drew that we're talking about

Luckily, Annabeth found out about Draco's feelings before Percy found out about the kiss

She insists that Drew likes Draco, and that she "has a feeling for these types of things"

Percy is confused like usual, but agrees to become Draco's wingman

And so he helps set the two up

Their first date was actually anything but awkward

And not once did Drew bring up anything about wizards or Merlin, to Draco's relief

Or that she used to hate his guts

But she did decide to hint at going on a second date

And poor Draco didn't get it...

...but he somehow gathered the balls to ask her anyway (he really liked the date)

Of course Drew said yes because she's not that bitchy

Their second date went even smoother

But it was more fancy

And Draco was panicking about what to wear

But Percy helped him with the help of Annabeth

And soon Draco/Drew became a thing (Dracew?)

And they talked shit about everything/everyone

Bu eventually Drew asked Draco about Wizards at a campfire as it was inevitable

She wanted to know if he knew any tricks, and what Hogwarts was like

And Draco promised to show her when the school season came

They did fight a few times, too, which sometimes resulted in a breakup

But they always made up

Usually after Draco begged Drew, which sounds really toxic, but wasn't

He's just so in love

Percy and Annabeth

Percy was not good with hiding his reaction when Draco told him what really happened in detail

And Annabeth hit his shoulder

They sat in the Athena cabin together

If Annabeth asked nicely, Draco would let her read his textbooks for school

Mainly the ones about history and magical creatures

Just because she couldn't really practice magic

But the was kinda their little secret

And Draco being a wizard brought them closer, too

Camp Halfblood

They're confused

Like so so confused

There's another mythical world?!

With wizards?!

MERLIN?!

Being the dumbest people on earth, that's all they'd talk about for days

Weeks even

Athena kids would read books about it

As well as some unclaimed kids

And Hermes kids would try to steal Draco's wizard stuff

One night the Stolls actually took his wand

And Draco was awoken by screaming, followed by a crash

It was a long night for everyone

But luckily Chiron allowed Draco to put everything in a safe, and keep it in the big house

Hephaestus kids would try to replicate wands

And/or beg Draco to enchant some of their inventions that don't work to make them better

But Draco says no, because he knows the Stolls are waiting for him to get out his wand so they can steal it

And he figures it won't end well

But anyways, everyone else just randomly goes up to Draco and asks him questions about being a wizard

They don't care that he might be considered a traitor

That makes him cooler to some of them

He became really popular for a little bit

And he'd casually bring up what he did, just to make sure he knew that they already knew

Like if he scored a game in volleyball, and his team would cheer him on, he'd casually bring up that he's help kill dozens of people

And the demigods say something like, "yeah, now keep your eye on the ball"

But Chiron really was the only one who didn't give a huge reaction (minus Percabeth)

He just kinda has a calm aura, and tells Draco that he's always be welcome to camp, and it's his home too, and blah, blah, blah

Draco's eternally grateful for it, though

He seriously is constantly thanking Chiron for letting him stay

Sometimes they'll have counseling sessions, too

Draco loves those times

But when Chiron found out that Draco wasn't a real demigod, he decided to keep it a secret

They said Draco was both

Which really helped a select few of demigods, because they discovered that they are also both

And they just didn't know about it because their parent(s) died/their god parent never told them

But pretty much they reacted the best out of everyone

Then the gods would somehow find out about Draco, and he'd be summoned to Olympus

So he'd obviously go

And the gods argued about whether or not Draco was to be punished

Until Hermes pointed out Athena's silence

The gods turned to look at her, and she expressed that Draco should stay, but they will keep it a secret that he isn't a true demigod

And so they did

The Golden Trio

Ron would have his jaw dropped

And Hermione would definitely be scared

But Harry would just kinda stay there, not afraid, and slightly surprised

He didn't know why he was surprised

It was totally expected from Draco

But deep down, he still knows Draco is a good person

And for some reason, it made him trust Draco more

And Draco hated him less

So it's a win-win

Eventually, when Hermione and Ron got over their shock, they'd ask Harry constant questions about what being a demigod was like

Like he'd know

Because they were scared to ask Draco himself

Snape

Oof

This one would be rough

A lot of the beginning was death glares and silence

And maybe a little bit of jumpiness

At least until Draco decided to do something about it

He met up with Snape after class one day, and decided to Iris message Chiron

Just to prove that he wasn't a bad person

Snape then refused to believe that there was another mythical world besides the one he lived in

He's old fashioned that way

It took a while, but Snape finally believed Draco about everything (he's not a traitor, and the gods are real)

He started to actually offer Draco help with the kids who were scared of him

Draco accepted reluctantly because he was sick of everyone jumping in their seats every time he moved, and slowly people started to talk to him again

First it was the Slytherins and a minor amount of Hufflepuffs

Then it was Gryffindors

Then the rest of the Hufflepuffs

And finally the Ravenclaws

(A lot of them asked him about what it was like being 'a child' of Athena, and/or what the gods were like)

Draco responded with telling them stories about his camp

Crabbe and Goyal

They'd totally feel betrayed at first

Like Draco, what the bloody hell did you do and why?

But soon they'd understand

Because they liked Lucius

And they're too chaotic without Draco's leadership

After that, they'd death glare anyone who talked bad about Draco

And maybe cause a few fights

They'd also ask him a lot about his life at camp

"Does you mum know?"

"Are there girls?"

"Cute girls?"

"Did you get smited?"

"You idiot! He wouldn't be alive if he was!"

"Are you going back?"

"Can I come with?"

They'd also try to stick their hands through Iris messages

"You're friends with a centaur?!"

But when they meet Drew, oh man

Drew does not like them

She thinks her boyfriend should have better friends, but soon warms up to them

It was impossible not to love the two dorks

So then the trio became a quartet whenever Drew visited Hogwarts

Hogwarts

Word about Draco's 'betrayal' to every wizard in the world gets out pretty quickly

And while some students hurry out of Draco's path in the hallways, others ask him about Camp and what a demigod is

But like, the majority will go out of their way to be out of his way

It totally hurts Draco, too

But he doesn't show it

No. He would rather be caught dead than show it

One day, the sleeve of his robe slid up his arm and his Mark showed

A girl fainted

Draco blushed, and quickly covered his arm, and pretended not to see it

Of course he'd Iris message Percy, Annabeth, and Drew

But it just wasn't the same as talking in person

Everyone knows that

Occasionally Chiron would appear, and that always made Draco feel a little better but it just wasn't the same

At least until Snape helped him

Then the majority of the people asked him about camp

Although Harry Potter never once asked him anything

To Draco's disappointment

Then there would be a few wizards who found out they were demigods, too

And they loved camp

Ok, but imagine a Solangelo and Feirochase double date. It would be so chaotic. Like Magnus and Will would be talking about healing people or glowing or something. While Alex and Nico are talking about how Nico can summon the dead and Alex is dead or something. Then one thing will lead to another and Alex and Nico will run if to summon skeletons and teach them to dance, or just visit Hot Topic. Then Will and Magnus will notice they're gone and run off looking for them and the whole time they're looking they're profusely apologizing to each other like "I'm so sorry my boyfriend/girlfriend must be a bad influence." while the other is like " I should have been keeping a closer eye on them. Who knows what they'll make your boyfriend/girlfriend do." Then they will both realize that their significant others are equally chaotic and run faster. Just to find Alex dyeing streaks of white in Nico's hair. Both completely fine.

Hear me out.

Chiron doesn’t want girls and boys together alone in a cabin because sex. But what if he’s not against sex, but more against pregnancy. Therefore, the girls and the gays are fine together, because notifying a parent their daughter got pregnant at camp would not be ideal.

But hear me out again.

Apollo cabin is full of healers. They start making Demigod Birth Control™️.

Hermes Headcannon

Headcannon that because the Hermes Cabin is so crowded, some campers have taken to sleeping on the roof. Chiron doesn’t exactly approve of this plan but there’s really not much he can do about it. So instead, the Hephaestus kids help to build a fence to avoid any... unfortunate incidents.

In the event that Zeus kicks the bucket the next god in line for the throne is, in fact, Dionysus.

I feel as though Zeus' judgement should be called into question....

So uh… newest installment of demigod reader go brrr. It actually kind of invoked one of my own personal First/Sky headcannons.

I should mention that I never read Percy Jackson so I have no idea if what I say makes any sense to someone who actually knows what they’re talking about lol

(And welp… really what this is is a loophole my brain came up with to circumvent Enno’s whole a-mortal-can’t-slay-a-god-without-becoming-the-god thing BUT it works here so I’m running with it)

Hear me out. First was able to reforge a weapon intended for a goddess. That no mortal should have been able to use or touch. He also was, as far as we know, the first to have been born with the hero’s unbreakable spirit.

What if First was a demigod?

Not Hylia’s child or anything but like… Farore maybe? (Totally random, but to me if Hylia has a patron goddess it would be Nayru to my mind. Because Zelda is always the one to have the triforce of wisdom while it’s split but I digress) But his demigod powers weren’t enough to kill demise the first time. When he died to give Skyloft enough time to rise into the air, he pulled a Hercules. He’d fulfilled the condition of becoming a true hero through sacrifice out of love.

Buuuuut even godly revival powers have limits. He died seconds before he earned his immortality. Because Link can never catch a break.

So Hylia does as Hylia does and reincarnates him. Giving him a second life, and by proxy the immortality he was owned.

Now Sky is not immortal. Not anymore, anyway. But he was. Past tense. He was immortal right up until he killed Demise. Because only a god can kill another god. But Enno’s right, and there must always be a price for killing a god.

This has gone way off track but basically I think that the Fierce Deity is Sky’s immortality/god powers that got separated from him as punishment for killing Demise. It’s also worth mentioning that I subscribe to the “FD isn’t actually evil, he’s just kinda always used for war and is a protective being” headcannon.

Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. How the chain can enter. Sky lost his immortality but the fact remains that he is a *reincarnated demigod.* Technically, given that the Links are in theory all reincarnations of each other, that would mean that they’re all quasi-demigods.

So they can enter camp halfblood? Maybe? I think so anyway.

Even if that wasn't the case, I think it could apply that they're chosen heroes of the gods (except Wind, but that's another thing entirely even if it's equally applicable).

So even if they wouldn't be demigods, you can't deny their ties to divinity anyway, so maybe they can get a pass from the barrier.

Like.... "you're one of us, but you have the markings, so come in, i guess?" I dunno.
