The laws of detachment.

We control freaks feel the need to control every situation.

We don't like the way it feels when we lose control, and this is the symptom of a wound, anxiety, abandonment issues . For myself it was always trying to make sure I wasn't abandoned and controlling my anxiety.

We go through phones, calculate work hours, nit pick, helicopter, mother, suggest, do it ourselves, etc. Only to in the end realize none of it did any good, because they left anyways (maybe a result of trying to control them).

So how do we let things unfold naturally? I had to learn that:

1, I can't control 99 situations and live a happy life. 2, Peoples choices, emotions, and feelings are theirs and I cannot do anything about it. 3, Just because someone choses to walk out of my life does not make me defective. 4, Anxiety is a liar and will make a stubbed toe seem like an amputation. Breathe. Think. Find your happy place.

Everybody isn't for you boo.

Don't try to change others it never works, only change yourself for the better, never force a situation if they say they are leaving let them split. Sit your golden drawers right there and watch them go, they were in the way antways. Sometimes we have to let life tear people's asses up. We might be built like Wonder Woman (Or Nacho Libre), can land on our feet like Catwoman and raise hell like Storm, but even they wouldn't touch some people's problems. You can't FIX people, therapist sometimes have a hard time doing it what makes you special? Fix yourself, so that you are confident enough in who you are to -scoff- at those who dare treat you wrong.

The only thing you should be controlling is your bank account and your own emotions, feelings, choices, etc. Uncertainty is reality, go with the flow.
