greetings!! hello!! welcome to tíralour!!!!

i thought i’d make a pinned post. heart. ❤️

my name is lord (they/them), and this is my oc side account. my main is @lordcoolington. im an artist and writer—i hope to make webcomics someday (about my world, tíralour!). below are various tags to help you navigate tíralour, o weary traveler.

gngnhnj ignore me im foaming at the mouth because i love weapons (!!!particularly antiquated weapons!!!) so so so much and i’m gonna ramble a ton under the cut 💥💥💥

so for context, here’s a few images of what i’m talking about:

but i would HIGHLY recommend looking up a video of someone actively using the meteor hammer. there is no still photo that can do it justice—it’s beauty comes from the way it moves. the dangerous part is, naturally, that big ole metal part on the end there (which can be as simple as a ball or it can be super decorated and elaborate!!! the one shown here is nicely decorated but i’ll likely make up my own design for cameron’s), but all of the action comes from the rope itself, and how the user moves with it ,,, they have to know how much rope to keep slack, and where to pull it taut; they have to even wrap it around themselves for ultimate control, and the end result almost looks like a dance. which is pretty much exactly what i’m going for for cameron, thematically. also you can totally decorate it ,, there’s a little flag at the end by the metal bit (for visibility’s sake) i could mess with. god maybe i could make the metal bit like, a harpoon hook. is that too on the nose for a siren? maybe i should lean into being campy. but aaaaaaa dude i’m so excited i love weapons and i finally found a weapon that felt right for cameron, which completes my trio
