#rant#justice in the dark#silent reading#the way my heart is so full i feel so warm and coasting on so much joy i am just. perpetually happy#truly its. mindblowing to me. i warched a call me maybe fei du/luo qenzhou video today!#theres a jitd rickroll video with fei du and tao ran and luo!!!#theres a vampire au edit! a#kidnapper au edit theres even abo edits were one so inclined!#therws a REAL SHOW WITH ACTUAL SCENES FROM THE BOOK I LOVE thay not only exists#but i have seen with my own ficking eyes and people are now sharing again and again in mvs#like truly my heart is overwhelmed.#its like. i have never liked a book BEFORE an adaptation came out. and then felt the adaptation shlw#was So Good i had no complaints and even had praised and heartfelt impressed over it#this has just. never happened to me vefore.#i loved guardian but i saw show first. i loved good omens but saw show first#so i bever went thrkugg WANTING to see something realized before it existed. until silent reading#i remember bejng mindvlown back when the audio drama came out!!!#i remember desperately hoping for the donghua!! ;-;#i remember news of a drama#came and i feared theyd ruin it and cast bad and make it cheap and jyst Begging in my heart#they at least stick to the cases plots somewhar. rhey at Least do a semi decent aesthetic vidually#even if its so cheap everything on set is rucking styrofoam or something and even if actors suck and script adaptation sucks#if it ever is made at all - cause i figuted like donghua the show just wouldnt end up existing#but goddamn. now it does and people clearly put SO much effort into it and it shows#the scripts alone are 35-40 minutes they did SUCH a good job adapting closely to the book#closer than woh or guardian did (though i love them for what they are as shows)#just. even details they tried hard to retain#and visually and audio wise its more than i dreamed or dared to hope for#and acting is. luo wenzhou is great. and i couldnt even imagine a fancast before who xould do him justice#so yeah im on cloud fucking 9 i am OVER the clouds
