“If you could tear this upstart Chantry out by the roots,” the stranger asked, “bring about a new Order, what price would you be willing to pay?”

“If it gave one templar a better end than mine,” Samson said, “I’d pour out my own blood for it. But I burned out long ago. You’re asking the wrong man.”

“I think not,” the stranger answered, holding out the vial for Samson to take. As simple as handing him a paper bird.

Yup! I suppose he could make a confession to what happened and help clear Corvo’s name. Of course, if you talk to him he’ll seem nonviolent till you take the key and he attacks, so at that point he seems extremely guilty and is just trying to goad Corvo into attacking. I imagine that if they used Havelock’s statement it’ll be once he isn’t trying to get Corvo to kill him, and also if he would tell anyone else the truth. He seemed content to just wait for Corvo to show up and end it.

yes! my ranking (of the ones I like) is probably Baudolino, Island of the Day Before, Name of the Rose, Foucault's Pendulum, and somewhere way further down is Mysterious Flame. I don't think about the others.

Apparently it’s fanfic writers appreciation day today! Well what can I say?  I always loved a story teller, I love books and movies and songs with meaningful words, but I never thought I’d be a storyteller - and partially down to the medium of fanfiction and the friends I’ve made and the fics I’ve read and thought ‘damn I wish I could write like that!’ then went out and fumbled my way through it.

There are so many people I want to support - to thank for being here, for supporting and nourishing others and giving us amazing and engaging stories, tidbits and all the rest inbetween.

I wanted him nude but they said no.

I don’t know what I like better - that you campaigned for a nude Mark Outsidermann (his human name), or that the rest of the writing team had to weigh the pros and cons of a nude Mark Outsidermann.

If we got the Pietà in the lethal ending, we shoulda had nude Mark Outsidermann in full on Resurrection pose, emerging from the rock entrance of the quarry and everything, for nonlethal. Just go full out. Full OUT.
