I have an older brother (my only sibling) and dealing with my Gender these past several years has really been what sparked my middle agere journey. I grew up as his "sister" (and to him and the rest of my family, I still am). reckoning with not having the same childhood as him bc I was the Sister and he was the Brother has really influenced how I, as an adult still living with my parents, dress myself, act, decorate my room.....just to be someone's brother is what I want but can't safely have, so I'm doing what I can, mostly dressing like Mike Teavee and collecting Calvin and Hobbes books 👽 sorry for rambling, just wanted to say how I connect with this :)

i'm officially calling my personal agere style "little brother core"!

i'm not much of a fan of having to make every little thing into a core, but for me this fits so well and i think it'll be nice to have a tag i can use. my style is like an aged down older brother core, and i always felt like "middle regression" was just too vague. for me little brother core would be the little sibling to the older brother; he watches horror movies with his eyes covered, he tries to sip his brother's energy drinks, borrows his stuff without asking, hasn't outgrown stuff like monster house, goosebumps and bigger kid toys. he wants to tag along too, but he's not old enough to be seen as cool yet. as an autistic person who's like permanently stuck in the hyper preteen boy phase this is everything i've wanted my blog to feel like. even something as insignificant as putting this together in my head makes me really happy!
