"Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn" Part 6 : Class 1A 3/4

1st, Shoji. I would say that Shoji is a Fight too, like many people in class 1A. I'd say he is because of the Dark Shadow situation in season 3, that he handled with calm and reactivity. BUT he has a bit of Flight and Freeze. Flight because if he can, he will listen to orders and flee the situation that he is in. Freeze because if he knows that someone has a plan, he will wait for them to say it (Midoriya with Dark Shadow or Momo with Saiko Intelli). What we can see in all the situation though is that he won't fight for no reason.

2nd is Jiro. She is half a Flight, we can see it in season 1 (when she hides with Momo), and even how she throws Denki to the villains instead, we can see that in season 3 (?) when she is against Saiko and let's Momo decide or also when she tries to escape the singing situation at first in season 5 or Mic in another season. But she is also half a Fight because she was ready to deal with Class 1B before Bakugo arrived, she also loves to tease him and Denki and all the times she shocks the pervs.

3rd will be Sero. Sero is pretty much a Fight. We know he never keeps his voice for himself, and says spontaneous stuff without sometimes thinking about it (Momo and how her quirk works in season 3). But he also apologize when he notice he said/did something bad. When faced with Midoriya in season 6, or with Midnight in season 2(?), he's also not scared to go close to them and fight. He also loves to tease Bakugo with a death wish as topping.

For the 4th one we have Tokoyami. He has a bit of a Freeze in him, as we can see with how he calmfully but still unknowingly looks at Hawks when the latter gave him his bird enigma with percentages and all. Or how he tries to avoid everyone going into his dorm. But with Dark Shadow reacting to his feelings, we can see he's a good Fight because of how Mina get attacked (in the second movie), or anyone else, and how he reacts by letting Dark Shadow got wild.

And last for today is Todoroki, but I already explained his situation in the first part.

I went see Top Gun Maverick and had a weird convo on the way back home.

For some context, a friend and I went to the theater, which happen to be really isolated and far away from our homes (the theater, not my friend), and our movie (Top Gun Maverick, loved it btw) ended up very late, more than planed, so we didn’t have very much bus left when we get out of the theater.

So I said: Listen, what about defrauding/fraud the bus? We only do it once, and if we don’t take that bus we’re stuck here or we have to go back home with our feet…

Fyi it was really dark and indeed dangerous for us -two teenagers, one woman and one trans man ftm- and that kind of bus is a sort of automatic one, like a tram, so we can’t buy a ticket inside and it wasn’t anything to buy a ticket nearby.

And then, instead of saying something like « f_ck it, I’m in, let’s do this even if it’s not legal », he just says very calmfully, « ok, maverick this shit, I’m in. »

Tbh I was too stunned to make any comment. I mean, this expression is incredible and I think I’ll reuse it.

It had been the first night in a while where Alex was sleeping calmfully. Her usual nightmares didn't occur and she couldn't say if it was cause of the pure exhaustion from their heated intercourse, the most heated in a while, or because Duncan actually stayed. Too often she got involved in nights like these, probably less passionate but eventhough revolving through an unsatisfied need to be wanted and tasted in the most intimate way. Nevertheless she was used to being left as soon as she fell asleep and she never dared to hold them back, even if she woke through their leaving. Alex never wanted to seem dependant or clingy, the price she paid for her indepence and freedom that often made her seem cold and distant. Still after all she was human like everyone else, craving for someone that kept her company for longer than just a simple night and this time it worked without her even hoping for it. Maybe that was the reason why Duncan stayed, not giving him expectations and therefore being surprised in a positive way.

It was the first morning in years where she didn't wake alone, feeling his body moving next to her to sit up, when she just expected to hear a pitiful excuse to leave. He didn't and that was probably the reason why she wanted to just drown into this moment a second longer, even if she wouldn't admit that. Usually Alex was the first one to get up, the role of a caretaking mother taking its tole, but this time it was her having the heavy eyes, only slowly turning around to look up at the sitting man who spoke the morning words.

"Good morning indeed, stranger." she softly mumbled with her sleep ridden voice, her arms stretching with a light squealing sound before she dared to sit up, the blanket covering her naked chest. "You're still here." she asserted with a smile, staring at his eyes that seemed even more intriguing due to the morning sun until their look was interrupted by the laughing sound from the living room. "Oh shit, Trix is already up, I should..." Hastily she released herself from the sheets to get up, not caring about the fact that she was still completely naked as she reached out for her silky bathrobe hanging at the door. For a moment she nearly forgot she wasn't alone and slipped into her robe to open the door, but then she stopped herself with her hand hiding a part of her face in embarrassment.

"Dammit, I'm sorry. I just... I guess I'm not used to having a guest in the morning, how rude of me." Her hand let go of the doorknob, her arms wrapping around her delicate waist to hug herself as she looked at him. It definitely was a look to get used to, but she still felt unsure about how all of this worked. Her head tilted, part of her messy hair falling into her face. "You... you wanna share breakfast with us? I'm sure Trixie wouldn't mind and... to be honest me neither." Maybe an invitation like this was already too much, maybe she should have just offered him to leave without Trixie noticing, but she witnessed how he was with her during the last night and for once she didn't want to seem as cold as she often came off. “It’s... it’s okay if you decline of course.”
