how come people hate jade and nepeta for being funny silly happy quirky friendly girls (complete opposite to someone like vriska) but not roxy and calliope?

Because Roxy and Calliope are LESBIANS for one another. They hate that Jade and Nepeta had crushes on Dave and Karkat. Who are GUYS. Those girls should have been respectful that those two boys they loved, were GAY for each other. They shouldn't have or try to confess to the opposite sex because heterosexuality is wrong in the Homestuck fandom.

Hopefully not too hot of a take, but I am so salty that postcanon “canonized” John/June x Roxy… esp bc bc it replaced TWO amazing ships and made me MAD. Sure there were like minor ‘hints’ or wtatevs in late late late a6 but I do not care.

Like idk but spider8reath was one of the first genuinely impactful things in the comic for me, like it actually made me FEEL some th ing which is RARE for FICTION to do that to me!!!! But then I saw Vriska and John/June being silly little geeses together…. (also they r t4t ummm I said so)

And then ALSO CALIROXY?? HELLO I THOUGHT THIS WAS CANON WGAT DID I MISUNDERSTAND they r literally in love idgaf. Fuck you they r in love and I said so so it’s canon (I have no real impact on what is considered ‘canon’ but i remember reading some of their dialogue and bc of the way Homestuck is structured I was like “wow I can’t wait to go back in time to see when they falled in love and started datign :3” and then it NEVER HAPPENED??;!;!!!!4;$&)

DirkJake, RoseMary, Daverezi, Davekat, JadeDave, Karezi, Gamtav, Johnrezi, RoxyCali, and VriJohn were really unlikeable in canon for me. I don't care about if people ship it but holy fuck i love being able to actually say i think something was bad in canon. Roxycali is by far the worst flavor of femslash

I don't mind if people dislike my own fave ships. It's just life. They have their own right to not like something as anybody else. And it would be nice if people can be open about said feelings and react maturely if someone disagrees.
