The Beach Boys, 1962
From left to right: Mike Love, Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, and early member David Marks. Marks was a neighbor of the Wilsons who sang and played guitar with the group from 1962-63. He appeared on the early releases, after the departure of Al Jardine. But Marks left after conflicts with Murry Wilson, the band’s first manager and Brian, Carl, and Dennis' father; the group ended up dismissing Murry as their manager in early 1964 due to his overbearing and disruptive presence at the group's recording sessions.

If those leaks about stranger things 5 on twitter are true then i have nothing else to say other than that it sounds ass.
#I’m sorry but that military plotline sounds so fucking lame like whatever happened to the supernatural plot#and why are they not bringing back vecna until the very end of the season#I wanna believe this isn’t true because the writers did say season 5 is season 1 but on steroids#but that wouldn’t be the first time they lied to us#i’m gonna take these leaks with a grain of salt but if those leaks are real i’m so disappointed and upset#this show used to be so cool it had something going for it#it’s why i love season 1 the most it had a grounded story that wasn’t all over the place#not to mention i liked how the setting was in a small town and not in different parts of the world like season 4#like i’m sorry but the california storyline and russia storyline are lame asf compared to the hawkins storyline#this show had so much sauce#imma eat up season 5 anyway because i love the characters and their dynamics but damn the story went to shit#stranger things#eleven#will byers#mike wheeler#max mayfield#lucas sinclair#dustin henderson#steve harrington#nancy wheeler#jonathan byers#robin buckley#joyce byers#jim hopper#byler#lumax#jancy#jopper

So I have a bit of a cold* and other than being a bit tired and run down feeling, the main symptom is my voice is very hoarse. My throat isn't even that sore, but compared to my usual customer service voice at work every single time I answer the phone today the person is like "TJ??? Is that you???? I thought it was an imposter!" On the plus side I can now sing Bonnie Tyler songs - wait interrupting myself because I just tried to sing and I think I can sing lower than normal??? Will test this and update the post *for realsies just a cold, my dad had it last week
#the person behind the yarn#the dissonance between customer service barbie voice and 'I sound like my favorite waitress from the tiny diner#back in california who had a wonderful very gravelly voice'#is so different it's comical#not helped by the fact that I squeak like a cartoon rodent when I try to make any sound in the upper part of my vocal register#idk if any of those words are correct I got the brain fuzz#metaphorically not literally

"Take It to the Limit" is a song by the Eagles from their fourth album One of These Nights (1975). The single climbed to #4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It was sung by bassist Randy Meisner, which was notable because it was the first A-side single released by the group on which neither Don Henley and Glenn Frey sang lead.
The song was written mostly by Meisner. He said he wrote the first few lines one night while playing an acoustic guitar after returning from the Troubadour; however he was not able to finish the song by the time they were close to recording it, and Frey and Henley then helped him with the lyrics. On the meaning of the song, Meisner said in the documentary History of the Eagles: "The line 'take it to the limit' was to keep trying before you reach a point in your life where you feel you've done everything and seen everything, sort of feeling, you know, part of getting old."
Meisner's performance of the song was very popular with the audience in Eagles concerts, particularly when he would hit the high notes; but performing it on tour night after night (and sometimes being sick, or not taking good care of his voice) made it difficult to perform. Some nights he would refuse and his reluctance became a big issue between he and Glenn Frey. Eventually it was one of the reasons he would quit the band, in 1977. He was replaced by Timothy B. Schmit (coincidentally, the same bassist who had replaced him in Poco years earlier). Schmit's vocal range was similar to Meisner's and he was able to take over singing "Take it to the Limit" in concert.

Not to be a bitch but if Watcher wanted more money maybe they should of produced more then 1 project a month
#watcher#I love watcher#been watching them since high school and I’m now considering a PhD they were my entire youth#but the reason drop out works is because they have so many shows#with many many comedians#I was always worried about how big watcher tried to get straight off the bat#I’m not saying getting an office in California with multiple members of staff is bad for a production company#but from their first watcher vid they seems to have many members off staff that realistically could have been just sound/camera & editors#then grown from that#there is realistically only 2 members of talents then recurring guests which is not enough for a full fledged subscription platform

love my voice changing, very gender, very cool! but it absolutely sucks that i have to relearn how to sing along to all my favourite songs from scratch because now i cant hit my usual high notes anymore and i'm not used to singing low at all so it's very awkward! And it keeps changing too! can't wait for my voice to settle in somewhere so i can actually find the right range and keep it :/
#oh also my dad keeps calling me 'cute' when my voice cracks 🙈#and i get embarassed because i can't control it and every time i get excited or talk a bit loudly i sound hickupy#im sorry i just cant talk in a monotone voice! i need to be funny! and dramatic!!#anyway im listening to a playlist and i cant sing along like im used to :<#do i need to learn the lower parts of california dreaming now? i alsways sang the high parts since i learned the song in school#mine#t diary#oh fun fact im going to a karaoke thing with friends next week which usually sounds fun (i like singing!) but maybe ill just watch this tim#today i really cant get any of my usual songs right and its a bit frustrating#probably not too fun in front of people i dont know#anyway im sure itll be fun either way#(btw singing stuff on my own works more or less okay but singing along to a song just doesnt work)#ill just keep practicing :)
