I like to think that Tiny Baby Bruce used to just stare whenever he was required to "socialize." Unfortunately, he ended looking like a possessed doll. They tried to teach him to smile, and oh god, it's so much worse somehow. Murder baby. He looks like a murder baby

Some little detail explanation:

I gave Scrabby an earring sort of thing that resembles his crystal and the ribbons around his arms are supposed to look like wings! Or at least have a wing texture. Also gave him a bug mandible motif on his skirt, corset belt, and necklace!

I didn’t have much to say for Prismos fit but I really like the ribbon I gave him :>

Y’all I’m literally never going to be okay about Simon and Betty.

Simon realising that their whole relationship he hadn’t been examining why Betty always followed him because he was too focused on his love for her and not what she really needed. Not what they both really needed.

The devastating parallel of Betty being so blindly in love with Simon that she willingly and unthinkingly always put him first. And Simon being so blindingly in love with Betty that he saw her being happy and so never thought to fucking question whether those were the right decisions to make. Enabling them every time because they were in love and that was what she wanted, right? She wanted to be with him. She loved him. She was happy. So why would he think it should be any different?

And Betty reassuring Simon that she made her own choices. That he didn’t hold her anywhere. That he never forced her to be with him, or put him first. That she made those decisions and that she didn’t have any regrets. But that they both had to let this go because as long as they were focused on each other neither of them were ever going to be able to have the life they needed.

That they had both been trapped for so long carving pieces of themselves out for other people. Betty in her blind devotion when it came to Simon. Simon in his belief that his crimes as the Ice King, and that all the ways he had let down Betty, meant the only purpose and worth he could have was in sacrificing himself for others.

That they both deserved self-possession and the ability to find autonomy and actualisation as individuals. That they deserved to make their own choices, the good and the bad, and just live without the blind devotion, and guilt, and sacrifice that was going to trap them in this loop forever.

That they meant everything to each other, but that now they needed to mean everything to themselves. That the only way forward was on different paths, but that they both deserved that. That they were able to show each other that they deserved that.

That Simon gets to live now.

I will never be okay about this show. Or these two.

Actually there is something so choice about how the narrative around Jason’s death pre-ressurection spends so much time reassuring Bruce (and the audience) that Bruce has no culpability and that Jason was hopeless and even at times tries to convince us that actually Jason wasn’t even really his son so Bruce didn’t fail as a father, he did the best he could really. Bruce doesn’t owe him anything. This could be seen as an attempt to distort history in order cope with Jason’s death, but this narrative is never actually challenged, we’re meant to take it as truth. And then Jason comes back and drags Bruce by the ear and goes actually no bitch you do owe me something you owe me a death. Bruce doesn’t get to wash his hands of him. Jason forces the issue, he refuses to let Bruce walk away clean. Good, he shouldn’t <3

It's my birthday! 🎂

I turn 23 today! Such an odd feeling, i still feel like a teenager cosplaying as an adult (ᵕ—ᴗ—) this month also marks my one year of joining simblr, so it is extra special to me! I am incredibly grateful for the warm welcome i have received on here, for all the lovely and insanely creative people i have met! thinking about robin/sanji parallels. i’m thinking about how robin was told her existence was a crime and how sanji was told his own father wishes he were never born. thinking about how robin grew up believing things would be better if she were dead and how sanji’s father thought him a waste of life. how they were both told that the sea was a vast and big place, that robin would meet friends who would never leave her and that sanji would meet kind people someday and i’m thinking about how robin found her friends and sanji found his kind people in the same place, in a rubber smile and a straw hat. and i’m thinking about how luffy, brave, loyal, unwavering luffy, saw through them, just as he did with nami, even as they yelled at him, insulted him, told him they didn’t want him there, that it was over, because he knows them, better than anyone ever has. i’m thinking about how they were both so willing to sacrifice themselves for their crew, too scared to say what they really wanted out loud because their pasts were weighing down on them to the point they couldn’t breathe and because life taught them they weren’t allowed it, didn’t deserve it and i’m thinking about how luffy, as he always does, proved them both wrong.
