I'm rewatching Nimona again because I'm gonna wring every drop of serotonin out of that movie like a sponge and as I'm picking up background details I noticed a doozy.

I can't take screen shots atm, but if you go to the bit where Ballister is talking about how Ambrosius cutting off his arm was disarming a weapon and it's how they were trained, there is a Goddamned American flag in the back. Red white and blue, stars and stripes. And honestly, thats even more on the nose than any pride flag or blue sky reference.

Once I got past the bad numbers in the second Xena musical episode, I would die for Jace, Xena's songs were wonderful and I can see that prolly Doom Patrol's 'people like us' was based on the 'People got to be free' at the end of the episode. Both of which are groundbreaking.

The amazon manipulating Joxer into warming up to Jace, that's the way you should grift. Using your feminine wiles on wannabes to make them tolerant even if it's just to impress a girl.
