Today has been a great day!! I--

got work at both jobs done

met up with a friend for an outside garden chat

had a lovely iced coffee

booked the hotel room that Derek and I will stay at on our wedding night; one of our city’s historic hotels! The aesthetic there is absolutely On Point. It’s definitely a “treat yourself” expense but like...once in a lifetime event :)

confirmed my bridal henna appointment!! I’m having both of my arms done, front and back, from fingertips to halfway up my forearms.

made a nice pasta dinner for Derek and I

watched a couple of episodes of Supernatural with Derek. :’) We’re coming to the end of season five... this show is a goldmine for anyone who likes angst and family relationships.

I deliberately did not drink coffee at all from mid-March to the end of August. I’ve had it about once a week since August 20. I forgot how much I enjoyed it, and how productive and energetic it makes me! Everything seems to feel and be easier when I’ve had an iced coffee. I wish I could drink it every day, but it kind of messes with my sleep and anxiety levels if I have it more than once a week or so. I’m a little sensitive to caffeine; even green tea gets me a little messed up if I have it every day. I could try decaf green.
