☆ FANGZIE THE FLYGON, THE JOYFUL PILOT, is my ride, who can use Fly! Has quite a powerful command over Ground and draconic powers! Super duper shockingly speedy and quite strong, not too defensive but I'm only dealing with their first one out, and I ALWAYS get in the Tailwind!!

☆ ZEE THE ZANGOOSE, THE LOVING LIEUTENANT, can ice punch the flying types that give me so much trouble! I've gotta get an electric type aboard the ship. She's a support Pokemon doubling as a combatant who usually has a soothe bell on person, so I've given her Switcheroo to make the best of it! I haaaaaaaave gotten it stolen like this a few times, but I can make new ones myself! She also has Return and can Roar out tricky enemies or those setting up for big attacks!

☆ CRIMZON THE SCIZOR, THE DECISIVE MAWS, is a defensive fighter! We crafted a Shell Bell for her, she's a Technician and real great at it too! A variety of less raw power attacking moves with unique effects and priority (Bullet Punch deals with her lower speed fairly well, mwehehe!!)

☆ CADET THE DHELMISE, THE, UH, CADET!! They're a slow and kinda lazy feller, but I've trained them around those weaknesses! They've got some nasty attacks, but also Pain Split and draining attacks plus lots of defense training! Which for Cadet mostly translates into defensive accessories I made for them. I suppose I would have a hard time working on my training if I were a pile of seaweed possessing an anchor too!!

☆ ANGELO THE GALLADE, CAPTAIN OF ALL HEROISM, harnesses the power of MEGA EVOLUTION!! ...are we assuming that we're using Dynamax in this situation? EITHER WAY, I'm sure Angelo could handle just as well as a great giant! Otherwise I usually get in one Swords Dance then just go to town with Sacred Sword, Psycho Cut, and, if it comes down to it, Close Combat!

I'm interested to hear your strategy too!! I love strategy!! I spend a little bit too much time researching strategies!!!!!!!

It seems this little development entirely slipped my attention. Apologies. Although Im sure you're all aware that I've been... considerably busy as of late.

I'm not surprised by this, of course. Breaking 200 followers should be trivial for an elite trainer such as me. It just goes to show that many of you have at least some semblance of taste~

Regardless, I suppose I ought to celebrate somehow. If for no other reason than to keep the lot of you entertained. Hmph... under normal circumstances, I'm loathe to openly share my strategies with others... however, perhaps I'll make an exception this once. HELLO FELLOW EARTHLINGS!!!

*~ I'm Val, he/they, 20. I like science! Making things! Technology! Old graphics! ~*

Long story short: I worked towards a career as a scientist for a bit, 'till I followed a comet out to a lake one night. It was a mysterious device that attatched to my chest, and now occasionally I get cryptic visions of Deoxys themselves in my sleep, mwehehe!

You may be wondering, why me of all people? Does this make me a "chosen"? Does Deoxys have some plan for me? Do they even have a sense of morality???? I HAVE NO IDEA!

BUT, either way I can see the responsibility that has been entrusted upon me!! I just still need to get the hang of my abilities. And uh, try to get out more. :/

Those abilities, by the way! I seem to be able to modify my own DNA, no idea how far I can take that and I've got some trouble controlling it, for now I just keep it to temporarily emulating Pokemon types. That's right, I can have types, and with this little raygun of my own design, I can fight like a Pokemon! >:)

Sometimes! If I can figure out how to do it without almost frying myself! It can get icky. But I invented beads that change color with my typing, which I'D call a win!!

Past Adventures!: unown adoption adventure

MY POKEMON:

Angelo (Gallade ♂, has mega stone). My ace! My co-captain! My partner through thick and thin!

Fangzie (Flygon ♂). Gets flying zoomies a lot, I'm one of the few trainers who can keep up with him ^_^

Cadet (Dhelmise). Soothing and creaky! Strong but sleepy! Doesn't try that hard, to be frank, but we're working on it.

Crimzon (Scizor ♀). Don't touch her wings or she'll chop your arm off! Nah not really. But sometimes she'll glare at you like she will.

Zee (Zangoose ♀). Really cuddly for a Zangoose's reputation! Much softer fur than what she looks like.

That's my usual team! Some others who sometimes join the fray:

Mercy (Audino ♂). The sole reason I'm not in medical debt! More of a lover than a fighter.

Vega (Starmie). A timid little guy. I keep hoping it could teach me more about space and maybe my own patron one day, but well. I imagine not having a mouth or hands gets in the way.

Soul (Solrock). A strange little guy, seems content just spinning around in the corner of the room a lot of the time.

Valkyrie / Val Jr (Unown 守). A rare variant recently adopted from the Unown Sanctuary! Chivalrous and a bit of a tsundere (with lack of a better term). Mostly just a travel companion whenever Zee wouldn't fit the situation, but that doesn't mean they can't hold their own in a fight!

I also run @silver-crowned-riders and @rocket-researcher-antares, this time around I wanted to make a less villainous character who could at least go to normal events and wouldn't hate every other user lol.

Tried to give an in-character explanation for why someone like this isn't super out and about since I'm still relatively new to pkmn irl and bc of other issues (& general confusion a lot of the time 😭) I might not participate in much high stakes as of now.

Val uses lots of gifs! I'll give alt descs when I can and will tag flashing and eyestrain for potentially harsher ones, if there's a better way to tag things lmk! ✌

It seems like tumblr eats asks for me sometimes since I get notifs but nothing comes up, so don't be shy to send in something a second time if it doesn't get answered in a day or two.

I character designed Val as brown. His race doesn't factor into posts much (or at all so far) but if anything strikes a weird chord lmk

Explanations!!:

I've always found Electric types real nifty, but never really found one that's inspired me to add to the team! Although a Plusle and Minin as pets or lab partners sounds rather nice!!

My family worshiped the land. That still has some influence on me, but now my primary being of worship is THE GREAT DEOXYS!!

The first thing most people think about with extraterrestrial Pokemon is probably Elgyem, right? Well, I've never been to Unova, and haven't encountered them where the sightings are more rare!! But I would LOVE to meet one one day, such curious and playful creatures!!

I never really found it necessary to challenge Steven! I trained to the point where I could take on the gym leaders, and felt that prepared me well enough to go off into the world!

Birds don't like me that much :< I have a lot of Fighting types and a Bug and I suppose my team's trouble with them have rubbed off on me! What am I supposed to do about them, they're like speedy stealth jets with feathers, except less cute!!

Cadet, my Dhelmise! They dropped the anchor on the boat for a stop and had trouble pulling it back up. Just like a Palafin, I changed into my gear and Fighting-shifted (long story!!), sent out Fangzie and Angelo, and pulled up the chain with the help of a kind stranger's Machoke! Imagine our suprise when TWO anchors rose from the depths, and one floated onto the deck! Well I had never seen a Dhelmise before, and was absolutely beguiled by its magnificence!! After a swift battle I caught it!!

I can come off as rather confident over the screen or having one-on-one interactions in my gear! That said, there are some issues that make me rely on Zee to ease the feeling that things will go awry. Also Val Jr. has been great at keep me from getting disoriented in crowds. Can't stand crowds :<

This one doesn't need elaboration I think, besides the fact that I'm trying to help Hoenn any way I can to make up for it!! :>
