I think the thing I keep dwelling on is like - does Piglet know that he's in combat with an ethereal otherworldly being? Or is Aziraphale as far as he's concerned Just Some Guy? I don't think Heinlein understood binary either. I'm dsycaclic and all I need to convert from binary to decimal is a list of powers of 2 and paper/something to write with. A whiteboard with a grid of the place values printed on it might also be useful. Someone who could have been a computer (profession) would be able to do it much faster and much more accurately. Massive books are just going to be slower.

I'm honestly surprised Sauron didn't just pack his shit up and head on out after seeing into Aragorn's mind with the palantír. He would have seen Arwen and had a PTSD-induced panic attack thinking he was seeing Lúthien. He would have seen Galadriel still primed and ready to beat his ass. She is a terrible mother, a horrible human being but I can't deny she is an interesting character. It has been a while since I've seen such a manipulative, caculating and ruthless woman in this franchise.

And the relationship between Gun and her got me hooked. Their dysfunctional relationship is one of the important aspect of this arc. You can see Gun embraced leverything of his mother, from her beauty to her ruthlessness, manipulative tendencies and stubbornness. Ptj has to have something in his mind when he lets Gun take her family name. Perhaps, he is trying to imply Gun is a parallel of her in a way.

Till now I'm pretty impressed by this arc.
