she didn’t take the comment to heart,  she rarely did with him.  he might be the  ONLY  one in this crummy town that accepted her after all  (  &  he had to be basically twelve.  )  mild irritation touched her lips however,   ❛ that because it’d make you actually do your homework instead of running around in tights all night ? ❜

“Who has time to do homework anyway?” He grinned at her and hopped down from where he was perched on the fire escape. It wasn’t often that he could behave like a kid but he saw Helena enough as a big sister to let himself.

          Jaw almost dropped the moment Helena’s words flew out of her lips. She was about to reply she didn’t need anyone to save her... && that was what she had thought for most of her life. Helena saved her though, not that she had not been able to take care of herself but.. Savant used a nasty move.

&& now, she felt like people, her friends, Oracle && Huntress thought she wasn’t able to take care of herself.      “Don’t mother me.”     It was different from Helena not wanting help, not wanting to be part of the Birds. It’s just Dinah was able && not vulnerable. But perhaps... Helena saw more than what she let them see...

Dinah would protect her friend at any cost, she would even sacrifice herself for Helena. Just like she was about to act for Babs, so she could walk again...

A team. No they weren’t a team. Dinah shook her head with a light frown across her face.

Helena’s eyes through her cowl betrayed worries towards the canary. ( come on Di, put your pride aside, you’re not Babs ).

She nodded, her features softened, less on the defensive now,     “Alright... as long as you let me watch your back too.”     Dinah’s gloved fingers curled around the purple ones to give it a gentle squeeze.

another mission just barely cleared by the skin of his nose. that’s pretty much how he’s been running things lately, messy –how bruce would never be caught dead performing. but this is a new challenge, even if he has worn the bat mantle before, he’s never done it without bruce. he’s never had to carry on his entire legacy. the stitches he’s sewing into his arm aren’t nearly as painful as the bruises on his ego, but distracted thoughts led to messy work and right now, even his stitch work could use some help.

when helena offers to help him, it catches him off guard almost. ‘you did enough back there’, is what he wants to say, to brush it off and thank her for her help. it’s what bruce would say. but instead, he finds himself nodding, dropping the instrument in his hand. ❛ alfred says i’m a horrible patient. ❜ he teases, forcing a small smile. ❛ thank you, by the way. for all the help –even this. ❜

i hate the rain and love the sun so obviously, i wouldn’t mind live in summer all year long

related to the previous one but i’m so much happier when it’s sunny outside. like i’ll literally light up and get into a depression mode during winter

I plan to just do movie hel in a different verse on this blog but I have a different verse for all the hel’s already so it’s different to ur situation

          well,, i kinda have a different verse for all the dinahs too, just not all the different comic dinahs ‘cause they all mix up for me, she was rebooted too many times and i like to pick the things i like and the things i don’t about every comic dinah into one comic dinah, etc lol but aside from that, animated dinah and comic dinah have different verses, live action-comic dinah and dceu dinah have different verses, earth-1 laurel and earth-2 laurel have different verses (and a bunch of other laurels that i made up every time arr/ow pissed me off, those have different verses too). so i thought keeping her here would be faster for me to keep track of everything? but also!

the only thing i would say to be careful about is that bop!dinah is poc, so it's not really a good look to have two different ethnicities on one blog, even if it's for different verses!

         this is what i was thinking about! why i was initially going to merge things up, but i feel like that does movie dinah a disservice too, and that’s why i thought of a sideblog that would be exclusively hers! but on the other hand, i kinda feel like putting her on a sideblog maybe feels like she’s not good enough to be on my blog? and she is 😭

so... what i’m trying to say is, i’m confused and maybe kinda dumb, and my adhd doesn’t help me at all.
