The Belt Railway Company of Chicago

These images were made at Clearing Yard, Bedford Park, Illinois. I seem to recall that the BRC had an affinity for Alco locomotives. The lead unit in the first two images is an C424 built in May of 1966.

While this is a good year and a half after the Bicentennial, we see a transfer caboose as well as a switch engine in red, white, and blue paint. That locomotive in the last image is an EMD MP15DC built in June of 1975.

I just finished up the paint and detail on my custom Belt Railway of Chicago C424. The decals aren't perfect, but it looks great from 2 feet and should pull pretty well.

I just need to figure out when it'll get its DCC and sound setup, then it'll be done.
