my fav bit about rewatching critical role is like before the big things happen and then they don't react how they do in the future like in the c2 live show when they did the uko'toa thing for the first time, and trent's first mention so no one but liam reacted, or when matt brought up gelidon the nightmare in ivory and they didn't react, or the first casual mention of ludinus + hearing 'makes my way' before they started singing it like there's so many examples ...

I’m watching Fjord and Avantika having their first personal talk where they reveal their Uk’atoa eyes with Caleb watching, and I LOVE how much Caleb is silently gesticulating his disapproval of Fjord’s flirting techniques. 

Still hilarious to me that Caleb has WAY more experience with sex and relationships than Fjord does

in terms of main feed eps i’ll say the bananksgiving one shot, frostwinds mandatory celebration of maximum luminosity, the loud libraries baggin’ it with balnor, the saving gemma bronzebeard liveshow, and the trinyvale merry metal mayhem two shot or the proposal one shot. actual episode episodes are something i return to at random less, but im a sucker for c3e29: crown of dreams (shocking, i know), c3e22: the ol’ crick feels like coming home, c2e37: the lord scythe is a good laugh, i like to listen to c2e41: cerenysus from about the 2:10 mark to the end bc it gets you the whole ritual and then the rest, c1e100: heart of the world is a really fun one to revisit to me, as is c1e99: one big bed (if you’re ready for some devastation lmao), and of course c1e70: reborn. episode of ever reborn.

I just remembered that Sam's still doing the Costume Bit and C2E37 was the NYCC live show where everyone dressed as sailors/pirates meaning depending on how the next few episodes shake out there is a non-zero chance we could watch a heartrending resurrection ritual while Sam's in the upper corner dressed in his leetle sailor costume and I don't think I'm ready for that emotional whiplash.
