This whole entire scene is so good but that one line always gets me, the fact that he’s so accepting of how terribly his actions have affected Kaylie and how he won’t even fight her back, instead opening his heart up to her to strike. Wow.

GOD DAMN IT SCANLAN!

Because I have been spoiled I knew Scanlan had a daughter, and as soon as Matt said “Young Gnomish Girl playing Flute” I knew it was going to be her.  I’m really glad he let her win the dueling flutes, but she’s right that he’s a scoundrel.  I’m glad he didn’t deny it, and I’m REALLY glad he didn’t (really) try to sleep with her.  I’m super excited to see how this plays out.   Also, Vax broke up with Gilmore :(  I knew it was coming, but It was still sad to see that magnificent bastard’s heart broken.  I’m excited to watch the romance between Vax and Keyleth grow though.  I love these dorks.
