"It's 1964, and C.O.W.L.—the Chicago Organized Workers League, the world's first superhero labor union—is going national! But with the old team scattered and powerful forces moving in the shadows, will this union be busted before it gets off the ground?" (Image Comics)

The deets:
Most of the massive-verse guys are Power Rangers writers!
CATALYST WAR is going to be HUGE! The fan vote WILL MATTER! (later)
They call this RADIANT BLACK GOD MODE!
Each issue, for now, is DIVERGENT TIMELINES!!
For supermassive, Ryan (rogue sun) says that it's pretty funny that it could be a running joke that dylan never meets radiant black.
Melissa says that bibi's motivations in supermassive 2024 go back to supermassive 2023. Kyle says that supermassive is having kinda like an arc of its own.
For radiant black, the finale is going to be HUGE!!! Kyle says itll be bombastic and the most personal story hes ever told. Nothing will be the same, seriously. Not "nothing will be the same" in a marvel or dc way where things go back, stuff will seriously change. Even the city itself will change.
Radiant Black will go on hiatus until its anniversary in February.
(kyle has knee surgery)
RADIANT BLACK AUDIOBOOK IS COMING!!!
Video of cast announcements!!
video here
youtube
Kyle really put his whole sound editussy (not what he said) into this one and they're super excited.
Rogue sun: they're going to take the fight to morningstar and see how that shakes up the supernatural ecosystem. We're going beyond the borders of New Orleans and Dylan will learn some important lessons.
Dead Lucky has concluded her solo run but this is not the end for bibi! She and her solid supporting cast will make cameos and crossovers.
IGR is back with book 2! Very studio trigger-influenced, but since the first volume discussed the power of self-belief in having too little, the second will explore self-belief into delusion. Check out the kickstarter.
Kyle's C.O.W.L. is back with COWL 1964. Joe, the jazz trumpeter and chicago-specific jazz historian, made a miles-davis-birth-of-the-cool-esque album to go along with it (all original songs).
It's retroactively the first book in the massiveverse. It's a superhero labor union based off of a college thesis film (which you can watch on the black market website (thats what their site is called))
Joe got an Einser nom for Deep Cuts and theyre going to press some vinyl for the COWL sessions.
No/One
No/One's ARG is coming to an end? Maybe? It's described as "true crime superhero multimedia experience." They have an in-universe podcast (that you can listen to) that's part of the alt reality stuff. You can also view in-universe websites, files, and all kinds of cool stuff.
No/One is coming to an end very soon. Their identity will soon be revealed. There will be a found-footage style SUPERHERO FAKE DOCUMENTARY! SUPERHERO FOUND FOOTAGE!! FEATURE LENGTH!!!
(trailer footage)
youtube
Lots of fun new merch! Limited foils for supermassive and No/One. Cute massiveverse pins! Even a new Shift pin. The new Radiant Black Volume 1 Hardcover will have loads of "making of" pages in the back.
I asked a question but I wasnt taking notes while they answered.
Someone asked about the rogue sun choose your own adventure issue and ryan was excited to talk about it. He loves gimmicks but they have to go with the story somehow (and there has to be a lesson learned)
Kyle's idea for the 20 & 20.5 was from the BEGINNING of radiant black. He always wanted to do the diverging timelines. Pretty much nobody's done this before. BUT THERE WILL BE A WINNER IN THE END. THE VOTE WILL COUNT. THERE WILL BE A PERMANENT RADIANT BLACK.
Also, kyle higgins despises the bat-god. He thinks its important for characters to fail sometimes.
That's all!
You mentioned that your going to the massive verse panel on Friday. Would you mind letting me know the info since I'm not attending sdcc? If not though no worries, I hope you have a fantastic time at comic con!
oh sure. if there is any information :3 thanks for the well-wishes! I haven't seen any massive verse cosplay but im hoping to spot some later
