"Okay then it's settled - we're going to do just that." Andy hooked her hand through Izan's and started to make her way towards the inside of the house. "We'll start with the baking so wo we can make candles why they bake, would you like some tea or mulled cider?" she asked once the two of them where in the kitchen.

"I had my dad here too. He died few years down the line after the paradox started. He was great, taught me everything about the bees and garden, I pretty much was set for life by him, especially here when demand's big for what I'm selling." Andy smiled thinking about it. "And I have another sister, she's somewhere in the real world," she nodded taking a sip of her drip, "But I haven't seen her for so many years, it's crazy" she shook her head, it was weird to think about Ariadne, she was still somewhere there but Pandora felt like she'd lost her sister years ago. "But family isn't just blood relatives," Andy smiled up at Izan, "I have a good support system I'd say. You live in the commune right? Are you like one big family there?"

Even if his mom was out there, and even if she missed him, it was unlikely he'd ever see her again. She wasn't going to get to Huntsville, not by herself, and Izan hoped more than anything to never see the rest of his 'family' ever again. His mother was an unfortunate sacrifice, though. "Were your mother and sister your only family here?"

"One would think so" Paloma exhaled a laugh, "Maybe the fact I'd dated guys like that was the reason I never got a second date" she shurgged, the 'maybe' was theortical she for sure knew what she was signing on to when she would go out with them. "What? No! You should totally do it! Show the kids how it's done" Paloma gave Izan her best encouraging nod accompanied by a smile. "If it gets slow that is." she looked back with a small frown at the current queue.

Paloma was eating her strawberry ice cream purchased from one of the stalls around as she got mesmerized by the climbing wall again. She turned to Izan with a nod, "Yeah, I've done it once on a date. Think it was a pretty smart way for him to check me out in tight leggings." she laughed. "And no, wouldn't say it's hard. Thrilling? A bit scary? Yeah maybe. But not hard. You're gonna have a go?" she raised her brows at him.

Paloma smiled as he observed the bracelet, it truly was a thing of wonders what one could do even in town with limited resources if only they had a bit of imagination and want. She let out a chuckle at his next words, "Thanks, I hope it is cause there's a whole lotta feeling and a whole lotta changes right now." she smiled, "I guess I'll have to get used to that." she shrugged, "And thank you, but I doubt you'd be interested in my divagaciones about it." Paloma smiled, she was truly glad Izan was offering but she was used to dealing with her emotions on her own, and besides there were just so many thoughts she'd not want to overwhelm anyone.

Izan reached out to gently touch the bracelet on her wrist, smiling as he did so. "Wow," he said, nodding in agreement. He definitely wanted to buy a bracelet from Sofie, the bracelet looked cute and he loved the idea of supporting a child's independent business. Or whatever it might be called. Noting her reaction, Izan cocked his head to the side. "Whatever you're feeling is probably normal. I think any kind of feelings about that would be normal. If you need someone completely unbiased to talk to about it, I'm a pretty good listener, I think."

Andy smiled and nodded as Izan agreed to come around before heading to the house with him. "Oh you know, same old same old. The ribs are heeling well, I think." she shrugged. DId it hurt her? Yes. But it was definitely manageable and she didn't faint from pain like she did at first or was drugged out not to feel that pain so all things considered Andy felt like it was going well. "I'm just glad this didn't happen in summer, think about all the harvest I'd miss." she shook her head. "How bout you?" Andy smiled back at Izan as they neared the door and she opened it for him to come through first.

Izan liked visiting Pandora. He just thought she was nice, and she usually seemed to be in a pretty good mood, which was also nice. It was all too easy to find someone who'd fallen into their own negative thoughts around here, and Izan hated being one of them. When he surrounded himself with positive people, it helped a lot. "Sure!" He agreed, nodding and letting himself onto her property so he could follow her inside. "How have you been? I feel like I haven't come out here in a while," he said, looking around.

Andy gave Izan a sideway glance. She wasn't much of a drinker, and rarely came to the bar but she didn't want to pass on an opportunity to meet up with them, the alternative being staying at home alone with her thoughts. "Honestly? In this place people probably do." Andy laughed, although she'd not personally witnessed that. She thought about his question for a second nodding a smile at him "Fuck it, why not." she laughed, she'll probably quit after one shot but she also didn't wanna stop herself from trying something new, Andy couldn't help it she found Izan fascinating, his liveliness was so different from her usual quiet self.

Izan wasn't much of a drinker, but he'd been thinking lately that maybe it was time to pick up the habit. What was stopping him, anyway? The moonshine in front of him didn't go down easy, but he figured the more he drank of it the easier it would be. Or so he'd learned in what little experience he'd had before now. "Do people ever just do shots of this stuff?" He asked the person next to him, eyeing his glass carefully. It seemed like drinking it fast and in smaller glasses might make this a less challenging feat. "Wanna do shots with me?"

Pandora gave him a weak smile, before shaking her head. She didn't quite know what to say. "Me too," was all she felt, ten years without her sister. Without either of her sisters. Sometime she still felt as if all three of them were there, especially when she was in her room, as if she'd just need to step out of her room and go to theirs if she wanted to see them. Andy thought for a second, "I don't actually. I guess I just tried to shut all of it out." she shrugged. "I'm sure I'm not the only one in town." she added, "And there's enough of them around the house that I don't feel the need." she added, she really never looked for a reason why she didn't visit the cemetery, she just didn't.

Izan hesitated, but then reached over and placed his hand over hers for a few seconds. "I'm sorry," he said, though he was honored she felt able to share that with him. It couldn't be easy to talk about. He knew he struggled talking about people he'd lost, it had been a long time since he'd told anyone even a smidge of what he'd been through before Huntsville. "Do you visit them in the cemetery or anything?"

Andy nodded, a smile appearing on her face as she saw Izan seemingly lost in happier memories. A light frown appeared on her face, unsure what he meant, maybe she was ill before he left, otherwise why would he assume her potentially dead. "Well, I hope she's out there too, missing you no doubt," she gave him a small smile.

"Not as good as she was. She was a really good artist," he said, smiling slightly at the memory. "She was never here," he answered, though it wasn't a complete answer. "I don't know if she's passed away, though. I think she might have. I hope not, but-" he trailed off, shrugging. He didn't know how to explain that she may have been punished because of him, because of how he'd run away with her support.

Pandora asked the bartender to make them the drinks and turned her attention back to Izan. "Yeah, that's an unusual take to this place" Andy nodded with a smile on her face. "You're not sure how you got here? Like you don't remember or have no idea how the town got there?" she frowned lightly trying to understand what he'd meant. "I like it here too to be fair, I wouldn't mind staying here really, but without monsters. Those really have to go in my opinion." Andy nodded.

Izan nodded. He wouldn't mind trying something else, because truth be told, moonshine really wasn't his drink. He continued nodding when she seemed to find something else, figuring he'd already tried shots of moonshine so what would be the harm in trying something else. "I love it here, usually," he said easily. It probably wasn't the typical answer, but he was being honest. "I'm not sure how I got here, really, but everything happens for a reason. I needed to disappear, I think. So this was the perfect place for me."

"How are you meant to drink that stuff anyway" she asked with a smile, her guess would be making it into a mixer which is what she usually did with mead, even thought that was way less alcoholic. Andy laughed, "Yeah, I think one more of this and it'd a a naptime for me" she smiled. "I think my eyes are loosing focus already" she looked at Izan squinting lightly. Andy looked back at the liqueur bottles behind the bar, most of those were probably empty by now. "You'd think living in this town all my life I'd know all what's on offer here," she mused with a smile.

Yeah, Izan wasn't so sure shots of moonshine were the best idea. She was right, there was definitely an odd feeling in his stomach, and every bit of his insides the liquid had hit on the way down. "It definitely hits the brain a little bit too, doesn't it?" Or maybe the was the buzz, he wasn't entirely sure. "Well, we tried that. Anything you want to try next?"

Pandora just about managed to smile before a shot glass full of moonshine was slid across to her. She raised her glass and cheered with Izan before taking a deep breath, she really wasn't used to moonshine but it was probably too late of a time to start making excuses. Andy downed the shot in one big gulp and regretted it immediately. Cheeks growing hot, she touched her chests as a series of coughs left her throat she grabbed her water bottle and drank it in slow gulps, exhaling as her throat stopped burning. Andy took a long exhale and looked at Izan a laugh escaping her lips to match his own, "That was sure something. I think I can feel my stomach slowly sizzling." she chuckled.

Izan grinned cheerfully, happy to have someone agree to shots with him. It wasn't going to take much for him to go too far, he probably should have known better, but all he could think about was how there wasn't anything to stop him right now. Immediately he asked a bartender for a couple of shot glasses, and poured his glass of moonshine into two of them before sliding one her way. "Salud!" He said happily, holding his up to her and waiting for her to toast. Then he knocked it back, unable to help himself from coughing and making a face as he put the shot glass down on the bar. "Oh, wow, no that's still pretty bad," he said, laughing.

"That sounds nice, I'm sure you're pretty good too if you keep practicing" Pandora smiled. "Is she- on the other side of this or passed away?" she asked not knowing how else to say it.

Izan nodded. He knew she was right, most people here had lost someone. Either to the monsters, or to the real world that they could no longer be a part of. He thought of the people he'd lost, but he knew that was different. They'd all disappeared after he'd left, for him to never find again. He had no way of knowing what had happened to any of them, and he did think about it frequently. "Sometimes I draw in the dirt outside, because my mom used to do that with me. She was good at it."

"That's okay" she smiled as he shrugged. "Oh they are lovely indeed, do have a look," Paloma added dangling her own bracelet she bought from Sofie on day one. "Thanks," she exhaled a smile looking down towards her stomach, "I guess they do?" she shook her head, "It's all still very new to me," Paloma looked back at Izan unsure if she was even able to begin to unravel the mix of emotions in her head at the moment.

Izan laughed. "That's okay, I don't really want to go on a first date, anyway?" He shrugged. "I'll have to take a look. I love handmade jewelry," Izan added, though he hadn't ever really worn any other type of jewelry. "Oh, congratulations! Right? That's what people say to pregnant people, isn't it?" Or so Izan assumed it was a congratulations type of event. He wasn't one to think on the more negative side of things, usually.

Izan found himself staring at the climbing wall for a potentially weird amount of time. He watched a couple of kids try their hand, and he smiled when one of them seemed like they were about to make it all the way to the top.

"Have you ever done one of those?" He asked Paloma, merely because she'd stopped near him and he had no problem striking a conversation with pretty much anyone. Izan pointed at the climbing wall, then looked at her again. "Are they really hard?"

Andy nodded exhaling, "My mom, and my sister. Thalia, she was two years younger than me, almost fourteen." she said with a small smile, it was crazy to think that Andy grew up but Thalia will always be the same age, the same little teen just starting to have her first crushes and cliques at school. It was even weirder how long has she not said her sister's name, she didn't realize she missed it. "It was hard, it still is, but thank you for asking me about them, it's so much easier to not think about it sometimes. I don't want them to be forgotten." Andy added.

Izan didn't like to think about what that first week must have been like. He knew he was lucky to have missed it, at least. The deaths he'd been around for were terrifying enough. "Did you lose anyone?" He asked before he could think better of it.

"The sheriff found it somewhere. Honestly I'm just glad it works." she said shaking her head, "You wouldn't like living here without it. It's weird how your mind adjusts to things, but that first week-" she exhaled, "-that's not something that you could forget lightly."

"How did they find the sigil?" Izan asked after a second, realizing he'd never actually been told. He hadn't ever sought more information about the monsters, actually. It was all so frightening, he felt better avoiding it entirely. As if it wasn't happening. When he could ignore it, he did.
