Just Dante and his girlfriend getting a little steamy while he talks about his revenge plan
Dante returns home, the weight of his plans for revenge heavy on his mind. As he steps through the door, he hears the gentle splash of water coming from the backyard. His eyes darken with a mix of desire and possession as he heads toward the source of the sound.
You are there, swimming leisurely in the pool, your long black hair flowing like a dark river around you. The lavender bikini clings to your perfect figure, highlighting every curve. You catch sight of him and a seductive smile spreads across your lips. Slowly, deliberately, you swim to the edge of the pool and pull yourself out, the water cascading off your body in a way that makes Dante’s breath catch.
You walk toward him, hips swaying, droplets of water glistening on your skin. "Welcome home," you purr, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him into a deep, passionate kiss.
Dante groans against your lips, his hands sliding down to caress your back, feeling the cool wetness of your skin under his fingers. He deepens the kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth with a fierce hunger. As he kisses you, his hands move to the knot of your bikini top, fingers deftly untying it.
"You’ve been busy," you whisper against his lips, your voice a sultry tease.
He pulls back just enough to look into your eyes, his own filled with a dark fire. "I’ve made progress," he says, his voice low and dangerous. "Soon, I will finally get my revenge on Dominic Toretto and his family."
A shiver runs through you at his words, a mix of excitement and anticipation. "I knew you would," you whisper, your hands sliding up to tangle in his hair. "You’re unstoppable, Dante."
He growls softly, pulling your bikini top away and tossing it aside. His hands roam your body, caressing and exploring with a possessive hunger. "And you," he murmurs, his lips trailing down your neck, "are mine."
You moan softly, your body arching into his touch. "Always," you breathe.
Dante’s hands move lower, his lips planting wet, hungry kisses along your collarbone, your chest, and down your stomach. You shiver under his touch, your breath hitching with every kiss. When he reaches your hips, he pauses, his eyes meeting yours with a dark intensity.
Without breaking eye contact, he bends down and takes the strings of your bikini bottom between his teeth. Slowly, deliberately, he pulls them loose, the sensation sending a shiver down your spine. You gasp at the intensity of his touch, the anticipation building with every second.
He kisses you again, dark and demanding, his tongue tangling with yours as he claims you with every touch, every caress. "You’ll be with me," he says between kisses, his voice a rough whisper. "As I bring them all to their knees, as I make them pay for everything."
You gasp, the intensity of his words and his touch sending waves of pleasure through you. "Yes, Dante," you moan, your nails digging into his shoulders. "I’ll be right here, by your side, through it all."
His hands grip your hips, pulling you flush against him, his dark eyes boring into yours. "Good," he murmurs, his lips brushing against your ear. "Because I need you, now more than ever."
He lifts you effortlessly, carrying you towards the house, his lips never leaving your skin. The anticipation builds with every step, every touch, every whispered promise of vengeance and desire. You cling to him, your body trembling with a mix of fear and excitement.
In the dim light of the bedroom, he lays you down on the bed, his eyes devouring you. "You’re mine," he says again, his voice filled with dark promise.
"Yours," you echo, reaching for him, pulling him down to you. "Always yours."
Dante’s lips find yours again, and this time the kiss is slower, deeper, filled with a dark, consuming passion. His hands explore your body, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. You moan his name, the sound spurring him on, driving him to claim you completely.
As he moves against you, his mouth trailing down your neck, your shoulders, your breasts, you feel the addictive heat of his touch, the dangerous edge of his desire. He’s a force of nature, unstoppable. And as he whispers his plans for revenge, his voice a seductive promise against your skin, you know you’ll stand by him, through the darkness, through the danger. Because he’s yours, and you’re his, in every way that matters.

Te v. Te, G.R. No. 161793, February 13, 2009
Topic: Article 36 - Void Marriages: Psychological incapacity
Doctrine
As aptly stated by Justice Dante O. Tinga in Antonio v. Reyes, there is need to emphasize other perspectives as well which should govern the disposition of petitions for declaration of nullity under Article 36. At the risk of being redundant, we reiterate once more the principle that each case must be judged, not on the basis of a priori assumptions, predilections or generalizations but according to its own facts. And, to repeat for emphasis, courts should interpret the provision on a case-to-case basis; guided by experience, the findings of experts and researchers in psychological disciplines, and by decisions of church tribunals.
Side note: Justice Nachura emphasized that the ruling in this case does not suggest abandonment of the doctrinal decision of the Court in the case of Republic v. Molina, but rather, highlights the need to emphasize other perspectives to govern disposition, i.e., that the particularities of each case be taken into account in deciding. Justice Nachura further explained that the jurisprudential doctrine of the Molina case has unnecessarily imposed a perspective by which psychological incapacity should be viewed," a view that is "totally inconsistent with the way the concept was formulated. The Molina guidelines worked like a "strait-jacket" in which psychological incapacity cases are forced to fit. In hindsight, it may have been inappropriate for the Court to impose a rigid set of rules, as the one in Molina, in resolving all cases of psychological incapacity. Wittingly or unwittingly, the Court, in conveniently applying Molina, has allowed diagnosed sociopaths, schizophrenics, nymphomaniacs, narcissists and the like, to continuously debase and pervert the sanctity of marriage.
Fr. Green’s Six Element Necessary to Mature Marital Relationship:
A permanent and faithful commitment to the marriage partner;
Openness to children and partner;
Stability;
Emotional maturity;
Financial responsibility;
An ability to cope with the ordinary stresses and strains of marriage, etc.
Definition of personality disorders used in the case:
A group of disorders involving behaviors or traits that are characteristic of a person’s recent and long-term functioning. Patterns of perceiving and thinking are not usually limited to isolated episodes but are deeply ingrained, inflexible, maladaptive and severe enough to cause the individual mental stress or anxieties or to interfere with interpersonal relationships and normal functioning. Personality disorders are often recognizable by adolescence or earlier, continue through adulthood and become less obvious in middle or old age. An individual may have more than one personality disorder at a time.
Types of Disorders According to the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (3d ed., rev., 1987), or DSM-III-R, personality disorders are categorized into three major clusters:
Cluster A: Paranoid, schizoid and schizotypal personality disorders. Individuals who have these disorders often appear to have odd or eccentric habits and traits.
Cluster B: Antisocial, borderline, histrionic and narcissistic personality disorders. Individuals who have these disorders often appear overly emotional, erratic and dramatic.
Cluster C: Avoidant, dependent, obsessive-compulsive and passive-aggressive personality disorders. Individuals who have these disorders often appear anxious or fearful.
SUPER SUMMARY
3 months after meeting, Rowena Yu asked Edward Te to elope with her. After being threatened by Rowena of her suicide, Edward went to stay with her at her uncle’s house and were taken by the latter to court to get married, and signed a marriage contract. Threatened with guns and treated like a prisoner, Edward was not allowed to leave Rowena nor her uncle’s house. Eventually, he escaped and was kept by his family from Rowena, and subsequently filed petition to annul marriage on the basis of psychological incapacity. Is the contention of the petitioner impressed with merits?
HELD: Affirmative. Based on the psychological diagnosis, Edwars suffers from Dependent Personality Disorder, whereas Rowena suffers from Antisocial Personality Disorder. The seriousness of the diagnosis and the gravity of the disorders considered, the Court, finds as decisive the psychological evaluation made by the expert witness; and, thus, rules that the marriage of the parties is null and void on ground of both parties’ psychological incapacity.
FACTS
Petitioner Edward Kenneth Ngo Te first got a glimpse of respondent Rowena Ong Gutierrez Yu-Te in a gathering organized by the Filipino-Chinese association in their college. Sharing similar angst towards their families, the two understood one another and developed a certain degree of closeness towards each other. Around three months after their first meeting, Rowena asked Edward that they elope. At first, he refused, bickering that he was young and jobless. Her persistence, however, made him relent. Thus, they left Manila and sailed to Cebu that month; he, providing their travel money and she, purchasing the boat ticket.
However, Edward’s ₱80,000.00 lasted for only a month. Their pension house accommodation and daily sustenance fast depleted it. And they could not find a job. In April 1996, they decided to go back to Manila.
On April 23, 1996, Rowena’s uncle brought the two to a court to get married. He was then 25 years old, and she, 20. The two then continued to stay at her uncle’s place where Edward was treated like a prisoner—he was not allowed to go out unaccompanied.
After a month, Edward escaped from the house of Rowena’s uncle, and stayed with his parents. His family then hid him from Rowena and her family whenever they telephoned to ask for him.9 In June 1996, Edward was able to talk to Rowena. Unmoved by his persistence that they should live with his parents, she said that it was better for them to live separate lives. They then parted ways.
Clearly, the parties’ whirlwind relationship lasted more or less six (6) months They met in January 1996, eloped in March, exchanged marital vows in May, and parted ways in June.
After almost four years, or on January 18, 2000, Edward filed a petition before the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Quezon City for the annulment of his marriage to Rowena on the basis of the latter’s psychological incapacity. The psychologist who provided expert testimony found both parties psychologically incapacitated. Petitioner’s behavioral pattern falls under the classification of dependent personality disorder, and the respondent’s, that of the narcissistic and antisocial personality disorder. The psychological diagnosis further stated that the said relationship between Edward and Rowena is undoubtedly in the wreck and weakly-founded. The break-up was caused by both parties unreadiness to commitment and their young age. He was still in the state of finding his fate and fighting boredom, while she was still egocentrically involved with herself. Both petitioner and respondent are dubbed to be emotionally immature and recklessly impulsive upon swearing to their marital vows as each of them was motivated by different notions on marriage. Both parties display psychological incapacities that made marriage a big mistake for them to take
The trial court, on July 30, 2001, rendered its decision declaring the marriage of the parties null and void on the ground that both parties were psychologically incapacitated to comply with the essential marital obligations. On review, the appellate court reversed and set aside the trial’s court ruling. It ruled that petitioner failed to prove the psychological incapacity of respondent, for the clinical psychologist did not personally examine respondent, and relied only on the information provided by petitioner. Further, the psychological incapacity was not shown to be attended by gravity, juridical antecedence and incurability.
In sum, the evidence adduced fell short of the requirements stated in the Molina case needed for the declaration of nullity of the marriage under Art. 36 of the Family Code. Dissatisfied, petitioner filed before the SC the instant petition for review on certiorari. He posited that the trial court declared the marriage void, not only because of respondent’s psychological incapacity, but rather due to both parties’ psychological incapacity. He also pointed out that there is no requirement for the psychologist to personally examine respondent.
Hence, this petition.
ISSUE/S
Whether, based on Article 36 of the Family Code, the marriage between the parties is null and void.
RULING
[Too beautiful not to share: To indulge in imagery, the declaration of nullity under Article 36 will simply provide a decent burial to a stillborn marriage. Nachura, J.]
The Court ruled in the AFFIRMATIVE.
The seriousness of the diagnosis and the gravity of the disorders considered, the Court, finds as decisive the psychological evaluation made by the expert witness; and, thus, rules that the marriage of the parties is null and void on ground of both parties’ psychological incapacity.
Indeed, Edward Ngo-Te, who is afflicted with dependent personality disorder, cannot assume the essential marital obligations of living together, observing love, respect and fidelity and rendering help and support, for he is unable to make everyday decisions without advice from others, allows others to make most of his important decisions (such as where to live), tends to agree with people even when he believes they are wrong, has difficulty doing things on his own, volunteers to do things that are demeaning in order to get approval from other people, feels uncomfortable or helpless when alone and is often preoccupied with fears of being abandoned. As clearly shown in this case, petitioner followed everything dictated to him by the persons around him. He is insecure, weak and gullible, has no sense of his identity as a person, has no cohesive self to speak of, and has no goals and clear direction in life.
Although on a different plane, the same may also be said of Rowena Yu-Te. Her being afflicted with antisocial personality disorder makes her unable to assume the essential marital obligations. This finding takes into account her disregard for the rights of others, her abuse, mistreatment and control of others without remorse, her tendency to blame others, and her intolerance of the conventional behavioral limitations imposed by society. Moreover, as shown in this case, respondent is impulsive and domineering; she had no qualms in manipulating petitioner with her threats of blackmail and of committing suicide.
Both parties being afflicted with grave, severe and incurable psychological incapacity, the precipitous marriage which they contracted on April 23, 1996 is thus, declared null and void.
Side Notes:
Similar to other psychological incapacity cases, Justice Nachura deemed it proper to examine Art. 36 of the Family Code. As borne out by the deliberations of the Civil Code Revision Committee that drafted the Family Code, Article 36 was based on grounds available in the Canon Law. It bears stressing that unlike in Civil Law, Canon Law recognizes only two types of marriages with respect to their validity: valid and void. Civil Law, however, recognizes an intermediate state, the voidable or annullable marriages. Such so-called church "annulments" are not recognized by Civil Law as severing the marriage ties as to capacitate the parties to enter lawfully into another marriage. The grounds for nullifying civil marriage, not being congruent with those laid down by Canon Law, the former being more strict, quite a number of married couples have found themselves in limbo—freed from the marriage bonds in the eyes of the Catholic Church but yet unable to contract a valid civil marriage under state laws. Heedless of civil law sanctions, some persons contract new marriages or enter into live-in relationships. It was precisely to provide a satisfactory solution to such anomalous situations that the Civil Law Revision Committee decided to engraft the Canon Law concept of psychological incapacity into the Family Code—and classified the same as a ground for declaring marriages void ab initio or totally inexistent from the beginning. Justice Nachura also borrowed concepts from Freud, American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (3d ed., rev., 1987), or DSM-III-R], and Canon 1095 of the New Code of Canon Law]
Canon 1095 of the New Code of Canon Law.
As such, Canon 1095 should be taken into account in interpreting Article 36 and in deciding psychological incapacity cases.
Canon 1095 provides:
The following are incapable of contracting marriage:
those who lack the sufficient use of reason;
those who suffer from a grave defect of discretion of judgment concerning the essential matrimonial rights and duties mutually to be handed over and accepted;
those who are not able to assume the essential obligations of marriage for causes of a psychic nature.
[Check Justice Leonen’s discussion in Tan-Andal v. Andal on the interplay of Canon 1095 and Art. 36. It was heavily discussed there.]
On the question WON dissolving marital bonds is contrary to the constitutional mandate of protecting family as an inviolable foundation, Justice Nachura said that:
In dissolving marital bonds on account of either party's psychological incapacity, the Court is not demolishing the foundation of families, but it is actually protecting the sanctity of marriage, because it refuses to allow a person afflicted with a psychological disorder, who cannot comply with or assume the
essential marital obligations, from remaining in that sacred bond. It may be stressed that the infliction of physical violence, constitutional indolence or laziness, drug dependence or addiction, and psychosexual anomaly are manifestations of a sociopathic personality anomaly. Let it be noted that in Article 36, there is no marriage to speak of in the first place, as the same is void from the very beginning. To indulge in imagery, the declaration of nullity under Article will simply provide a decent burial to a stillborn marriage.

❏ STREAMING MEDIA ❏
Streaming media is multimedia that is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a provider. The verb to stream refers to the process of delivering or obtaining media in this manner.[clarification needed] Streaming refers to the delivery method of the medium, rather than the medium itself. Distinguishing delivery method from the media distributed applies specifically to telecommunications networks, as most of the delivery systems are either inherently streaming (e.g. radio, television, streaming apps) or inherently non-streaming (e.g. books, video cassettes, audio CDs). There are challenges with streaming content on the Internet. For example, users whose Internet connection lacks sufficient bandwidth may experience stops, lags, or slow buffering of the content. And users lacking compatible hardware or software systems may be unable to stream certain content. Live streaming is the delivery of Internet content in real-time much as live television broadcasts content over
the airwaves via a television signal. Live internet streaming requires a form of source media (e.g. a video camera, an audio interface, screen capture software), an encoder to digitize the content, a media publisher, and a content delivery network to distribute and deliver the content. Live streaming does not need to be recorded at the origination point, although it frequently is. Streaming is an alternative to file downloading, a process in which the end- user obtains the entire file for the content before watching or listening to it. Through streaming, an end-user can use their media player to start playing digital video or digital audio content before the entire file has been transmitted. The term “streaming media” can apply to media other than video and audio, such as live The Palaced captioning, ticker tape, and real-time text, which are all considered “streaming text”

C R I S T I A N I S M O.
I G L E S I A C A T O L I C A.
I G L E S I A O R T O D O X A.
I G L E S I A P R O T E S T A N T E.

Jane
A short story by BCLL (2015-46079)
PLOT OUTLINE
I. Exposition A. Jane, a 26 year-old woman, is the only daughter of Tomas and Lerma and they live in a humble house in Pasig. B. Jane works at a lifestyle parlor in Makati at which she is hailed and awarded as one of the best employees the establishment has ever had. 1. She is very good at her work that she receives many requests of assistance from regulars. 2. She is so good that she has gained an admirer who has been persistently pursuing her: Robert James. C. Robert James gains, after a long time, the trust of Jane that they have grown as confidantes, both professionally and personally.
II. Rising Action A. Jane’s parents receive a letter from the mail at the beginning of September. B. Jane discovers that she is adopted from an overheard discussion between her parents, Tomas and Lerma. C. Jane seeks Rob’s counsel as he is, coincidentally, a lawyer and asks him to help her uncover the truth about her parents.
III. Climax A. As he investigates, Rob finds out that his father, Dante James, is the reason for Jane to be separated from her biological parents. B. After much thinking, Rob decides to tell Jane everything he found out about her parents and his father even though he knows what it will do to their friendship.
IV. Falling Action A. Jane receives the inheritance that her biological parents had left her after their death. B. Jane decides to go back to her parents and talk things through. C. Jane and Rob remain very good friends.
V. Resolution Because Rob helped her uncover the truth and was very honest with her about everything, he and Jane are still very good friends. Jane keeps him close as he had changed her life for the better.
-------
Jane
It was a quarter past six in this Thursday morning of July as Jane knocks on the door of her parents’ room.
“Ma, I’m heading out now. Jessica called earlier and told me I needed to be at the shop by 7 a.m. because Mr. James scheduled an urgent appointment and, as usual, asked for me. I have to go now if I don’t want to be late. There’s breakfast on the table. Please eat with papa. He’s out in the garage, washing the car. Again.”
“Okay, take care of yourself, sweetheart.”
“I will, bye! Love you!”
Jane passed by her father before she left the house.
“Bye pa. See you later. There’s food on the table, ok?”
Jane is a 26-year-old woman who works at one of the beauty salons in Makati. She lives with her parents, Tomas and Lerma, and older sister Jessica. She has a knack in being a manicurist and masseuse, but her ultimate dream is to enroll at a fashion design school. She is working tirelessly to earn enough for her education.
As Jane got to the end of her street where she always hails a tricycle to ride to work, she heard her name being called out somewhere nearby. As she found the source of the shouting, she saw Mr. Robert James, or Sir Rob as he is called at the salon, waving at her from his parked car a couple of houses down from where she was standing. It looked like Sir Rob had been waiting for her to come by.
“Good morning, Jane! How are you? Are you on the way to work?”
“Good morning, too, sir. Uh…yes I am.”
“Perfect! I’m going there now, too. C’mon, hop in!”
“Oh, sir, that won’t be necessary. I can go on my own. I’ll just meet you there.” And Jane caught the next vacant tricycle, leaving Sir Robert, surprisingly, smiling as he watched Jane ride off.
Once in the salon, she started to prepare for today’s business, starting with Sir Rob’s appointment. Usually, he asks for a mani-pedi cleaning and, on special occasions, a foot and body massage. What Jane did not understand was why he always asked for her when there were more experienced and talented employees in the salon.
Today went by as a blur after Sir Rob’s appointment. She had two more customers after before she went for a break. While she ate, she could hear the usual snipes of Jessica, her boss and sister, to her friends. Tomas and Lerma helped Jessica put up her own business. When the business started, it was only a two-roomed unit, but, now, it has expanded to a loft-type place, where more customers and services could be accommodated. Despite her loathe against Jane, Jessica was forbidden by their parents to fire her sister because, they said, they had to be a team. No power against her parents’ bequest, her hatred comes in all forms except her utmost desire of expulsion.
Throughout the entire months of July to August, Robert would schedule appointments with Jane just to see her. At first, it was once a week. Now, he has come by thrice a week since. He means no harm, he says, but Jane cannot help but feel uncomfortable. Only when September rolled in did something change between them.
Two weeks into the month of September on a Wednesday morning, Jane woke up because of frantic voices in the kitchen. Jane got up from the bed to investigate. Jane heard her parents discussing about a letter they received in the mail earlier that month. She heard them say that it was time to open the letter. By their voices, Jane could tell that the piece of envelope they were holding was making them nervous, at the same time, reassured. By the time her father had finished reading the letter aloud, Jane did not realize heavy tears were falling from her eyes. It was because she found out that Tomas and Lerma were not her biological parents, that she was adopted, that she was living a life of lies.
It seemed that Jane had no other choice, but to talk to what seems like her only friend at the moment: Robert. His appointments turned lunch reservations turned walks around the business park of Makati. During these sessions, Jane talked about what she had overheard from her parents, her feelings, and her options. As it turned out, Robert is a licensed lawyer and offered his counsel and assistance over Jane’s case. He felt compelled to help her because they have grown a lot closer over the past few months and adopted a different kind of care for her.
So, he set out to investigate on her case. As he did, he immediately found trails and little pieces of the puzzle. As it turned out, Jane’s case was pretty famous for an issue of adoption. While he did this, Jane confronted her parents.
On the night of September 16, Jane found her parents in the kitchen sitting with Jessica. They were discussing future plans for the beauty salon.
“Err…hi. Jess, can I talk to mom and dad for a second, please?”
“Go away, Jane. Can’t you see we’re discussing something important here?”
“Jess, please. Mom, dad? Can I talk to you for a second?”, Jane says with more conviction, tears streaming her eyes. This her parents saw and asked Jess to leave for a while. Jessica looked pointedly at Jane as if she was the worst thing that happened to her.
“Jane, honey, what is it? Is something wrong?”, her dad asked.
By this time, tears were definitely rolling down Jane’s cheeks. “I don’t know how to tell you this…”
“It’s okay, honey. Is this about work? Or is it about school? Come, sit here. That’s what we were talking to Jess about. We were discussing your enrollment next semester at the fashion school you’ve been dreaming about!”
“Mom, dad. I heard you talking in here the earlier this week. Yo-you were holding a-a-a letter in your hands. Something that happened 24 years ago.”
Tomas and Lerma were speechless. They did not know what to do. Or say.
“Oh, sweetheart…”
“When were you planning to tell me? Never? If you didn’t want me to know at all, why didn’t you wait ‘til everyone was out of the house? HOW COME YOU DIDN’T TELL ME? Mom, dad, please. Just tell me the truth, no excuses. No more lies!!”
“Honey, calm down please”, Tomas said. “Here, have a glass of water. We’ll tell you everything. Why don’t we start from the very beginning, hmm?”
And they did. Jane was the daughter of the late Edgar and Malou Reyes, who were both lawyers during their time. Tomas and Lerma were a part of their big household help in their house in Antipolo as driver and cook, respectively. Jane’s birth was a surprise to the whole household as Edgar and Malou were already in their 40s when they had her. Everyone adored Jane because she brought so much laughter and joy into the house.
When Jane was two years old, little did she and the household help know that Edgar and Malou was involved at a very controversial lawsuit at the firm they worked but Tomas and Lerma could not recall specifically which. The controversy was so toxic to the point of murder threats here and there that Edgar and Malou decided that it was best for Jane to be sent away. They, then, requested Tomas and Lerma to take her into their custody as it was no longer safe for all of them. At this time, Tomas and Lerma had a three year-old little girl. Yes, it was Jessica. So, they fled Antipolo and returned to their house in Pasig. Until now, no mention of Edgar and Malou was dropped ever again. Unfortunately, the old couple died at a car crash and Tomas and Lerma never knew what had happened with their lawsuit, whether they had won or lost.
After a few moments of silence, Jane cautiously asked, “So, what was that letter?”. Tomas and Lerma looked at each other.
“Honey, it came from the lawyer who handled the case of your parents.”
The next day, Jane and Robert was scheduled to meet over lunch. Rob was very rattled at this point from the things he found out in his investigation and was not too thrilled to see Jane. Rob saw Jane from the window of the restaurant they were to meet with. He looked at her with so much sadness and weight that he did not realize Jane was waving at him with her phone at her ear. Apparently, she was trying to reach his cellphone as he was not responding physically. Rob, to Jane’s amusement, picked up the phone.
“Rob, what are you doing inside? Come to the aircon!” Jane said with lightness. But Rob, could see right through her: pale face, swollen eyes with dark circles under, puffy cheeks.
“I’m coming.”
As they ate, Jane could see that Rob was nervous. “Spit it out, Rob. Is there something you want to tell me?”
Rob looked her in the eyes and said, “I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry, Jane. If it weren’t for me, you’d still be with your parents. If it weren’t for me…”
Jane looked at him with confusion. As it turned out, her biological parents worked at the firm Rob’s father owned, Dante Firms. Dante James was a powerful man. Until now. That is where Rob works.
“No, it can’t be. I-I have to go. I’m sorry.” And Jane rushed out of the restaurant, leaving Rob with his hands covering his face. Jane and Rob did not talk for a few weeks. Not until Rob marched into the salon one November afternoon because Jane was not picking up her phone or acknowledging his emails.
“Jane. I don’t care if you don’t want to talk, let alone see. But I found the lawyer from my father’s firm who was at the opposition from your parents. I’ve got big news.”
It turned out that her parents were innocent and that Dante James tampered with some evidences because he did not like losing. Rob said that Edgar and Malou were close to winning, but Dante James acted faster and used lots of money to win no matter what.
“So, what do you think the letter my parents received contained?”, Jane asked.
“I don’t know. Do you want to find out?”
And Rob drove Jane back to her house where they found Tomas and Lerma sitting at the porch.
“Mom, dad. Can I read the letter?”
As promised, the letter read that Edgar and Malou were innocent and it has been 12 years ago today. There was also a will with inheritance that was left in the care of their lawyer. The lawyer wrote that it had taken a long time to find Jane as they could not track Tomas and Lerma anywhere.
“Honey, we’re sorry. We were afraid that if you found out about all these things, you’d leave us! We can’t imagine a life without you, sweetheart. Please forgive us.”
“Rob, how do we go from here?”
Rob helped Jane track the lawyer who sent the letter down. They retrieved all her inheritance, including the house in Antipolo. To show gratitude and ask for forgiveness, Jane brought her entire family to come live in her house in Antipolo. As for Rob, well, they still continue seeing each other as Jane is very thankful for his help, because without him, she would not have been able to do the right things.

Schoenfield: Your total tutorial to MLB's All-Star 7 days - SweetSpot
Welcome to All-Star festivities in Miami, where it’s ninety levels with 854 percent humidity. Here’s a rundown of the three times of baseball at Marlins Park.
Sunday: Futures Recreation Time: 4 p.m. ET (MLB Network) 2016 MVP: Yoan Moncada (Pink Sox)
Gamers to enjoy: 2B Moncada (White Sox) RHP Michael Kopech (White Sox) SS Amed Rosario, Mets OF Eloy Jimenez (Cubs) 3B Rafael Devers (Pink Sox) 3B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Blue Jays) SS Bo Bichette (Blue Jays) C Francisco Mejia (Indians) OF Kyle Tucker (Astros).
Past year’s Futures Recreation was ripe with significant-league-completely ready talent as fellas like Gary Sanchez, Andrew Benintendi, Alex Bregman, Dansby Swanson and Alex Reyes were soon in the majors and producing contributions down the extend.
Yoan Moncada, the Futures Recreation MVP in 2016 as a member of the Pink Sox group, returns as a member of the White Sox group. Jamie Squire/Getty Pictures
Moncada took MVP honors with a go-forward residence run in the eighth inning, and he’s back … but with a new group. He and Kopech went to the White Sox in the Chris Sale deal. Moncada remains a single of the top prospective clients in the minors and really should be up soon immediately after the All-Star break, even nevertheless he hasn’t dominated Triple-A. He’s hitting .278 with a .378 OBP and 11 residence runs but has struck out 93 periods in seventy two games.
When: July nine-11 Wherever: Marlins Park, Miami
Sunday: Futures Recreation rosters Monday: Residence Run Derby bracket Tuesday: All-Star Recreation rosters
Examine more: MLB All-Star protection
Two of the youngest players in the game are a pair of Blue Jays, both of those sons of former significant leaguers. Younger Vlad Guerrero Jr. has a swing that resembles his dad’s and at age 18 has developed into a single of the game’s top hitting prospective clients. He has just been promoted from minimal-A to higher-A, immediately after hitting .316 with seven residence runs, 21 doubles and more walks than strikeouts for Lansing. That is correct: He has his dad’s swing, but substantially far better plate self-control.
Bichette, son of Dante, was a 2nd-round pick in 2016 and has exploded this time as a 19-calendar year-aged teammate of Guerrero’s at Lansing. He’s hitting .384 — he was at .400 until eventually a the latest slump — with 10 residence runs and 32 doubles. Everybody calls his swing unorthodox, but it operates. Although he’s unlikely to adhere at shortstop long-time period, he is more athletic than his father.
The player to enjoy who could make an effects down the extend in the majors is Devers. The Pink Sox have the worst creation at 3rd foundation in MLB, and Devers is hitting .300/.369/.575 with 18 residence runs at Double-A Portland. He’s only 20, so you can realize the want not to hurry, but you surprise if the Pink Sox abide by the Benintendi monitor below, skipping Triple-A and promoting Devers to the majors someday in August.
Monday: Residence Run Derby Time: 8 p.m. ET (ESPN) 2016 winner: Giancarlo Stanton (Miami Marlins)
Participants: Stanton Justin Bour (Marlins) Aaron Decide (Yankees) Gary Sanchez (Yankees) Cody Bellinger (Dodgers) Miguel Sano (Twins) Mike Moustakas (Royals) Charlie Blackmon (Rockies).
Logan Morrison isn’t below, but this is a single of the most intriguing Residence Run Derby fields in a long time, highlighted by rookies Decide and Bellinger, additionally Stanton. The hometown fans will also get to cheer on Bour, who faces Decide in the very first round.
Can Stanton repeat his dominant functionality from Petco Park? He not only experienced the 10 longest residence runs of the contest as he belted sixty one about three rounds, but he experienced the 20 hardest-strike residence runs. There’s a new significant person on the block, on the other hand, and Decide will definitely give him a run for distance and exit velocity.
Hold an eye on the left-handers, on the other hand: Marlins Park is a small more generous to lefty hitters (at the very least dependent on frequent-time residence run components), so it’s possible Bellinger, Bour, Moustakas or Blackmon will be the shock winner.
Oh, appear on, who are we kidding: It is heading to be Stanton compared to Decide in the finals and Stanton is heading to get a Todd Frazier-like strengthen from the residence fans and get residence his 2nd title in a row.
Tuesday: 88th All-Star Recreation Time: seven:30 p.m. ET (Fox) 2016 MVP: Eric Hosmer (Kansas Town Royals)
As Aaron Decide and Jose Altuve clearly show, All-Stars appear in all styles and sizes. Bob Levey/Getty Pictures
Gamers to enjoy: OF Decide OF Bellinger SS Carlos Correa, 2B Jose Altuve, OF George Springer (Astros) OF Bryce Harper and RHP Max Scherzer (Nationals) LHP Chris Sale (Pink Sox).
The significant alter for 2017: The game no lengthier counts. For the very first time in 15 a long time, the All-Star Recreation winner won’t figure out residence-area benefit in the Planet Collection … although the Indians even now missing Recreation seven at residence previous time in spite of Hosmer’s heroics. Residence-area benefit will now go to the pennant winner with the far better document.
The largest trouble with the notion was not so substantially the notion alone — it was not genuinely any worse than the aged rule of alternating from league to league just about every time — but that the professionals even now did not manage to get. Their principal precedence remained finding absolutely everyone into the game, so previous year’s essential minute came in the eighth inning with the bases loaded, when Will Harris changed Andrew Miller and struck out Aledmys Diaz, who was pinch-hitting for Corey Seager.
Now that “This time it counts” no lengthier exists … effectively, I type of pass up it! In concept, the game mattered, even if it was an exhibition. Now, it’s just an exhibition game the significant stars will get two at-bats and be changed by a bunch of fellas from poor groups. Then once more, it’s possible it’s a very good factor we won’t get Pat Neshek pitching to Avisail Garcia with residence-area benefit on the line.
In any case, Decide is no question the male of the minute, and let us hope he faces Scherzer at some level in the top electricity-compared to-electricity showdown. Sad to say, Mike Trout is wounded, Clayton Kershaw won’t pitch mainly because he’ll begin Sunday, and Miguel Cabrera did not make the American League roster. The AL will also not have Corey Kluber, Yu Darvish and Michael Fulmer, three of its top starters, as they are all because of to pitch Sunday as effectively.
All eyes will be on Decide and Harper, the two top vote-getters. It will be entertaining to see the three Astros in the starting off lineup, with Correa and Springer producing their All-Star debuts. Marlins fans will get to cheer for Stanton and Marcell Ozuna. We’ll pass up Indians supervisor Terry Francona, who will never be in the American League dugout for the game as he recovers from a coronary heart technique (he’ll rejoin his club immediately after the break). I’m certain Brad Mills, filling in for Francona, and Countrywide League supervisor Joe Maddon would love to get the ball to Craig Kimbrel of the Pink Sox and Kenley Jansen of the Dodgers, respectively, with a guide in the ninth inning. (That could also be a preview of Planet Collection closers.)
So take pleasure in the festivities — three times when we’re reminded of all the awesome talent in this game.
