Dominic often attended parties solo; riding with a group of friends at the beginning of the night only to leave with someone by the end of it. It was easy, something of a routine for the 25 year old. But that evening he wasn’t there as a regular guest. No, tonight was different for he was there as Cassia’s boyfriend. The concept took some getting used to. He actively tried not to let his eyes wander, kept a protective hand on her lower back as they moved through the room and made sure to give her googly eyes when he felt her friends eyes on them. It was an adjustment, but Dominic was getting the hand of it. Not that it was difficult in the first place.

With an arm draped across her shoulders, Dominic used his free hand to turn her chin in his direction, forcing her attention away from the group of people in front of them and onto him instead. “We’re not even together and we’re already a cuter couple than they are,” he snarked quietly, knowing that from the outside, he was sure it looked like they were two lovers sharing sweet words.

Lately he'd been seeing a new girl around town, and he was curious. He was curious about here, because in a town like Beacon Hills, there was seldom anyone new who showed up. It was why Isaac was keeping an eye on her. At least in his mind, even if he was kind of stalking her, just a little bit. He wanted to make sure that she wasn't someone dangerous before he introduced himself. It was why it took him three days before he introduced himself, when he saw her at the coffee shop he was a regular at.
