It was presumptuous of him to ask the stranger such a question, but he meant it ironically and in jest given the location. Skye looked over at the beautiful blue water as he listened. Nodding in agreement he muttered, "It's a great place for some peace and quiet." Not knowing his current company he kept a safe distance and did so since arriving, not wanting to make her nervous. He'd been surprised to run into anybody on the bluff.

With the mention of it being secluded, he gazed at the pretty woman and smiled sheepishly. "Honestly, I thought the same. I was hiking a few years back and went off-trail, and found this place. Woods behind and water in front. The sea meets the land. It's very serene. I come to meditate sometimes."

"Do you mind if join you for a few minutes before I head back?" Skye wanted to watch the sun as it dipped below the horizon.

Clary threw a dart at one of the balloons in one of the games. She looked over to who had approached her and then threw another dart. “Can I help you?” she asked.

Astra conheceu Jack décadas atrás quando a ordem de bruxas e feiticeiros fora dizimada por ordens reais. Tais criaturas, segundo o rei, poderiam desestabilizar o seguimento natural de poder, já que possuíam habilidades fortes demais. Sendo a única sobrevivente, Astra fugiu e vagou sem rumo durante muito tempo, tentando encontrar seu caminho sem muito sucesso. Em um lapso de desespero ela simplesmente jogou-se ao mar, esperando que assim pudesse apenas ser consumida pelas ondas raivosas perante o tornado que pela região passava. Acabara acordando momentos depois no navio de Jack, que havia resgatado a menina com ajuda de seus homens. O individuo que futuramente tornaria-se o rei dos mares, em tal passagem tratava-se de apenas um marujo. Passados anos Astra decidira permanecer ao seu lado e o auxiliar no caminho que graças aos seus poderes, via que ele trilharia.
