Hello! How about some fluff? Neko cafe date h/c with the boys! 🐱
As someone who has a pet cat, hell to the yea we can do this. I visited a lot of cat cafes in college too before I got my cat and I love them! I even live near a bookstore with live in cats hehe, so yes you may have cat headcanons. Thanks for ur patience, mwah.
Kazuma Kiryu
Pretty reverant when it comes to animals and kind of lets the cats come to him. Can't get enough of seeing how happy you are to be here though. More than content to just sit back and smile as he watches you play with the kittens.
Majima Goro
Zero clue what to do around pets, ever. Doesn't matter what kind of pet. He's not scared of animals but he just doesn't know what they like or dislike. Gets pretty giddy when an animal responds positively, saying something like "Ah, ya like chin scratches do ya?" when a cat starts to purr, looking at you proudly.
Saejima Taiga
Very gentle and respectful of animals and pretty decent at reading their body language. Nothing is as cute as seeing Saejima sit gently holding the tiniest kitten in the whole cafe in his lap, lightly petting its head and smiling.
Akiyama Shun
Fond of fluffy cats in particular and will coo at them about how beautiful their long fur is. Kittens are iffy for him, he's kind of worried he'd step on them? For some reason? Loves watching you play with them though.
Tanimura Masayoshi
Loves animals, especially the kittens. Engages with the string or stick toys a lot and makes little mews back at the kittens when they talk to him. Would even get down on the ground just to be at the cat's level.
Ryuji Goda
More of a dog person but the ice starts to break once a kitten tries to clumsily climb its way over his broad shoulders. He's annoyed for a split second before seeing how happy the moment makes you. From then on, he's steady as a mountain as the kitten fumbles its way from his right shoulder to his left. Maybe he can get into this cat thing after all?
Nishikiyama Akira
Kind of follows your lead, although he does love to give the cats treats. He does this cute thing where he'll pick out two cats that are most like the two of you.
Daigo Dojima
Didn't have pets growing up so he's pretty unfamiliar with what to do around cats. It's quite adorable to see the sixth chairman of the Tojo Clan gingerly hold his hand out for a curious cat to sniff, eventually gently scratching behind the cat's ears and gently smiling to himself.
Mine Yoshitaka
Not much of an animal person but he does love to admire the elegant appearance of a cat. Doesn't really go for kittens much and won't do much playing but does like to find a nice spot to sit next to a calmer adult cat, especially one that's sleeping, and just gently stroking its fur in silence.
Tatsuo Shinada
Something about this man just attracts kittens. They'll just kind of swarm him the second he sits down. Maybe it's his jovial attitude but they just want to play with him from the moment he walks in. He kind of just laughs through it, amused by their little meows.
Ichiban Kasuga
Literally love at first sight with every cat he sees. Adores animals and thinks each one is a precious angel. Would forgive a cat for biting him on the face, actually. Out of all the boys, he's the most likely to suggest a neko cafe date himself.
Tianyou Zhao
Likes to just sit and bap a ball around on the floor for the cats to chase. All smiles throughout the date, just has a grand time in general. Would give each cat a little kiss on the head if he could.
Joon-Gi Han
Has known about cat cafes for a while but never really got to go to one, mostly due to his line of work. Just kind of takes it all in, watching the cats play and enjoying a warm drink all while smiling a little to himself. This is nice. He could get used to doing things like this with you more often.

saving Nishiki
Phase one of saving Nishiki is Majima annoying him a bit here and there through 10 years Kiryu was away.
He'll be popping in from time to time, offering a fight or a snarky remark, and generally be a nuisance. Trying to get more info about Kiryu sometimes. And that will not be good for Nishiki's mental wellbeing at certain points, but Majima is good at redirecting people's attention when needed.
This thing will not change the general plot of Kiwami, Nishiki will still keep blaming himself for letting Kiryu down (he never stopped caring for him, never thought it’s Kiryu’s fault that things turned out this way). Nishiki will still feel that he has to keep going down this dark path, and will keep pushing himself on it (he feels that he has nowhere else to turn).
But! He’s a bit more conflicted now. A tiny bit. After all, Majima, of all people, knows a thing or two about waiting for brothers that left you for good (and for bad).
It’s not that they’ll be talking about for 10 years nonstop, the subject is touchy, after all. Sharp on both ends. But it’s there to allude to, and to be mutually understood while sharing a cigarette late at night.
So, phase two of saving Nishiki is not letting him get shot in the vault. Like, in that last stretch of the game (and in Yakuza games in general) everyone kept standing in front of bullets for eachother, it was almost ridiculous. So why not let Kiryu stand in front of the bullet to shield Nishiki? Why not, hmmm? So yeah, he does that. And now Kiryu and Nishiki are both in the vault with the bomb, and Kiryu is bleeding and can’t move fast enough, and how could Nishiki think about anything but getting him out of there before the whole thing blows up?
Staying in that safe to die was a split moment decision of a really depressed and suicidal man in extreme duress. So how about we don’t give him time to think it over at all.
Nishiki gets Kiryu’s left hand over his shoulder, and rushes towards the exit with him, and the wave of the explosion hits them near the vault door. Heat and debris hit Nishiki from the left/back, and so this is where most of his scars are. Now and forever the koi will be swimming up from their whirlwind. One particularly bity piece of shrapnel slashes both through Kiryu’s forearm and Nishiki’s face.
(Oh, the power of the shared scar that will forever bind them to this moment. Oh, Nishiki shielding Kiryu from the hit of the explosion.) (Oh, the metaphor and irony of Nishiki looking more like Kashiwagi now.)
Phase three of the plan is Nishiki getting arrested! Not for his actual crimes, oh no. But for some of the stuff relating to the explosion and mayhem that happened that night. Like, whatever works (c) Kamurocho police, probably. Someone had to be arrested there, and he was breaching some safety regulation protocols or whatever. They pin him for whatever sticks, because there are not a lot of people left there that are both alive and can be put in jail.
So yeah. Nishiki is whisked away to a hospital to get his skin grafts, and then is put in that prison’s hospital wing, and then is slowly let out of it, and then he meets Saejima. And the long journey of healing and self acceptance and love starts. For both of them.
– Oh, we have so much written about it all, just you wait :3 Tigerfish has us by our throats, we’re dying in its chokehold. Best most honorable death ever.

RGG Ishin Actor AU
I've seen a few posts about an Actor AU for RGG Ishin, so here are some of my ideas about the cast of this AU.
Kiryu is the industry newbie, and a rising star. He's also a formidable martial artist who does his own stunts, and he's got some impressive acting skills, too. Up until now, he's mostly been in low-budget films and TV dramas as troubled heroes and occasionally as the romantic hero as well. He's also worked with Saejima and Ryuji in action movies, so he's on pretty good terms with them both. But now, he's finally landed his very first leading role as Sakamoto Ryoma/Saito Hajime, in his very first big-budget epic film. While a little nervous about working with a bunch of big-name actors, he's quick to win everyone over through his talents, his skills, and his genuine kindness off-camera.
Majima is an A-list actor, well-known for his impressive acting range. He's never been typecast in any single character type, and he's also a delight to work with. While Majima initially started out with acting in crime dramas and films, he has since branched out to other genres and expanded his horizons significantly. He's also won many awards for his films, and he's also done some acting in Hollywood films, too. He gets along pretty well with Kiryu on the set of Ishin, and he's more than happy to become sort of a mentor for the newbie actor.
Nishiki is an A-list actor and model. He started out his career as a model, then his acting career began with romance dramas. Now, Nishiki is one of the most bankable stars in the industry. While Nishiki does have a bit of a reputation as a diva, many directors would give anything to work with him, because having his name attached to a project will secure a film's success. He's widely considered a sex symbol in the industry because of his good looks and modelling skills. Nishiki's also got an impressive acting range that's won him many awards, whether he's playing romantic heroes or dark brooding villains like Okada Izo. On the set of Ishin, he and Kiryu get along surprisingly well, and eventually become pretty close friends.
Saejima is a former action star who's starting to branch out into dramatic films. Like Kiryu, Saejima's also a skilled martial artist who does his own stunts, and he's got the skills to be a dramatic actor as well. He's also close friends with Majima, since the both of them have known each other long before they entered the film industry. Sometimes, when he reads his scripts, he has his own ideas about his characters, and he'll always give suggestions to directors about certain things to implement. Ishin is his first venture into historical pieces, and if this movie is successful, then his serious acting career is all but guaranteed.
Shibusawa, Awano, and Kuze are all industry veterans who are particularly well-known for their work in historical films and in crime films, too. Kuze started out as a pro boxer before he switched to acting, but he's not the biggest fan of the industry parties and events. He plans to retire from acting soon, and hopes to run his own boxing gym as a coach after filming for Ishin is wrapped up. Awano is both an award-winning actor and a filmmaker, known for playing characters who rebel against the social structure. In his younger days, he was also something of a party animal, and he still enjoys attending industry parties even now. Shibusawa started out his career as an actor, but these days, he mostly produces films. He's exceptionally talented, and incredibly influential in the entire film industry, and he's also very well-known in the Western world, too.
Zhao is another well-known actor who started out in TV dramas before venturing into films. He began his career as a stand-up comedian and impressionist, but he's mostly been in dramatic films after proving his acting chops in his debut film. Zhao loves working on historical films, and he often takes great care to research the time period so he can apply his knowledge to the characters he plays. He's also a great chef, and he loves to cook meals for his co-stars during breaks in filming. He also owns a successful Chinese restaurant in Yokohama, which he runs with his close friend Tesso.
Joon-gi Han is a K-pop idol based in Japan, and he's also starting a film career like Kiryu. While he's already pretty popular in his native Korea, he's become a huge sensation and sex symbol in Japan, thanks to his modelling collaboration Nishiki, and his musical collaborations with several J-pop idols. Han initially started his acting career as romantic heroes, but he's since proven to be even better at playing sinister characters. He has an incredibly devoted international fanbase who have been cheering him on ever since he ventured into acting. He's also a skilled martial artist, and he does his own stunts much like Kiryu and Saejima. When he's not acting or singing, Han manages a super elite, exclusive nightclub in Tokyo.
Ryuji is both an actor and a professional wrestler. He actually started out as a bodyguard for a celebrity, then became a successful wrestler with the WWE. He also has some decent acting chops, though he's mostly appeared in action movies. Nevertheless, his presence never fails to delight audiences, since he knows how to make all his scenes memorable. Ishin is his first venture into dramatic films, but he's nothing if not dedicated to doing well in the role of Saigo Kichinosuke. His most favorite scene in the Ishin film is his homoerotic bathhouse fight with Kiryu, and he's not ashamed to admit this in promotional interviews.
Haruka is a J-pop idol who's starting a film career to shed her wholesome, cutesy popstar image. While she's only a teenager, she's got a lot of potential as an actress, and she gets along with everyone on the set of Ishin. She and Kiryu form a close bond that lasts even after filming is wrapped up, with Kiryu becoming something of a father figure to her.
Mine is both an A-list actor and a supermodel. Like Nishiki, Mine started out his career as a model before he made his acting debut in a historical movie. Since then, he's been in a variety of epic historical pieces with settings that range from the Heian period to the Meiji period. Mine's good looks and modelling skills have also made him a sex symbol, and his mysterious aloofness has only enhanced his appeal. He's particularly close to Daigo Dojima, who helped him get a start in acting.
This is everything that I have so far. What do you all think? If you have suggestions for other characters, feel free to add them on!

Did some real plot progression! Finished Tanimura's section ^^
The first and only thing I wanna say above the read more is F U C K that boat chase sequence. That was TERRIBLE. Had to switch to easy difficulty. I don't usually get motion sick, but that shit made me queasy. Controls were weird too. Or at least I thought they were.
Maybe I just suck - wouldn't be surprised. You see, I suck at those types of tasks in these games in general - the car/helicopter/truck shooting chase sequences in previous installments also had me tearing my hair out.
Corruption??? In law enforcement??? NO WAYYYY *pretends to be shocked* . Nah but fr. Wish I could say I'm surprised.
Okay I really wanna see how this was pulled off. I'm VERY curious. But also I feel SO bad for Saejima. He lost 25 YEARS of his life to murders he didn't actually commit. Obviously he would have done some time for attempting the whole thing, but I doubt it would have been anywhere close to that long.
IT'S ALL STARTING TO COME TOGETHER. I've been waiting for this!! Can't wait to see all the boys working towards solving this mess. I was worried for a second that this would be kind of like Y0 and they'd always be so close to each other but never cross paths.
I'm happy I actually managed to get this part right in my first impressions-based character analysis. Maybe it was obvious, I don't know. Always fun to see what I get right or wrong. Gosh, Akiyama is such an intriguing character. So, SO rich, yet still so kind.
Also I'm sorry but I still don't buy this Akiyama-Falling-For-Yasuko thing. Like sure!! I've heard love can be quite unpredictable and some people fall fast. Hell, maybe Akiyama is that type of person. But... I feel like they barely interacted in my opinion. I remember there was the whole "looks like my ex whom I still miss" thing and I guess that's... valid? But gahhh. I just don't feel this one.
In fact, if there's one thing I don't like about the games too much this far, it's how these "romances" are handled. It often feels like they either:
A) come out of nowhere (current example and Kiryu and Yumi imo) OR
B) they're there for a very small amount of time and then they're kind of... pushed aside and not explored (Kiryu & Kaoru).
Only exceptions I can come up with are... OBVIOUSLY Majima and Makoto and, while it wasn't a romance, I also liked the thing with Reina and Nishiki in Kiwami. Yes, despite how that one ended. Dunno know if that's a hot take or not.
Looking back, there were some visible flags for this that I probably should've picked up on. But to be honest, I don't tend to pick up on things on first playthroughs in general, AND it had been a while since I played Akiyama's part. This one was a surprise.
I liked this warehouse scene a lot in general. Sugiuchi's power play of "What are you gonna do? Shoot me? Japanese police don't shoot!" was rad and it really showcased how much of a veteran he is in terms of knowing how the police operate.
Also enjoyed the display of Tanimura's almost tunnel vision-type of determination for finding the truth. Consequences be damned; this man will shoot and fight if it keeps Sugiuchi there and gets him closer to his goal.
Sugiuchi being an undercover Yakuza member came out of left field for me. Gosh, I kind of wanna see more of this guy's life and how he operated back in the day. His backstory was cool enough to fit a protagonist character in my opinion.
Uh-
Huh. Okay. Umm... lemme just... Process.
I can kinda sorta see it. Maybe. Still, a very risky plan. This relied on:
-all the men actually getting knocked out from the bullets (especially those that didn't hit their heads) after they were hit and not waking up right after
-Saejima not noticing the relatively significant lack of blood from the bullet wounds and on the floor at any point
-Saejima not checking for signs of life on Ueno Yoshiharu after the shot like a proper assassin would
-AND, glaringly, two yakuza not noticing the bullets not being proper bullets while inspecting them before the hit.
Clearly it worked, but... gosh. So many risks. Also can I just say... Munakata is SCARY sharp. I know he's trained to notice discrepancies in crime scenes, but the way he utterly DISMANTLED Sugiuchi's report was kind of terrifying.
The amount of sloppiness on Katsuragi's part makes me wonder if it was all purposeful, though. It was almost like he knew Munakata was sus and would wanna contact him.
NAHHH NO WAY😭😭 There was only one gunshot, though!!!! Someone survived, it has to be true!! (delusional) 🥺

local elderly girl sells stickers at a japanese food festival
not gonna lie, the entire experience is very emotional to me and it's been a month but moon channel's vid essay about cool japan, and the release of smt5 vengeance (lol) inspired me
tldr: i made some stickers, got real existential about it, will keep making more c: if youd like to check them out, here's a link
ive always wanted to draw, i used to say i was gonna become a painter or a fashion designer when i grew up. none of that happened, but i did go to film school. my final project was a script for an animated short highly inspired by nbc hannibal, majora's mask (i know, it was 2016, it makes sense to me lol) and a huge loss in my life from which i havent fully recovered, 10 years later.
the point is, ive always been art adjacent but i never really drew, until i got inspired by_hannibal itself_, noel fielding, kylux (LOL) and a roommate who was who was really inspired by art youtubers like frannerd and drew around the house, so i picked up a pencil and started drawing hannigram fanart bc i was so insanely in love with that show lol i remember who i was before i drew. i spent my days reading and watching tv, bc i love stories and stuff, but i was a consumer. and once i got a job after college i felt so incredibly isolated and directionless. do i have a direction now, as i work as a """"designer""" for a company that sells a mental health app? no. but like demifiend was force fed a magatama and got demon powers (LMAO BEAR WITH ME I JUST BOUGHT SMT3 HD REMASTER), i caught the art demon (like steven zapata says). and i caught it bad. i spend my day to day rushing through my work and chores and everything so i can have enough time to draw in the evening, to do whatever, and sometimes the need is so immense i cant do anything bc im not good enough, my skills are fading, im worthless, what's the meaning of all this? so i took a chance and showed my work at an arts alley on a japanese food festival i was helping organize. mind you, i was juggling that with my 9/5, promoting the event, finishing drawings from years ago. and when i got there, nobody got it. people looked at the stickers and didnt recognize the characters, and went on to buy the stickers my friends had that were more current. it was all japanese fanart. we were there with the single purpose of baiting weebs like us lol
ive always dealt with clients, im used to this. but im used to business to business, bc sigh i am a corporate girly. and im a beginner in the demon arts of arting. i felt so ashamed people were preferring other people, that i had the audacity to think i was worth anything. but i stood there, standing still with my brain boucing off my skull wanting to leave but also enjoying the experience and hoping someone, anyone would get it. and some people did. to my surprise, jack frost was my best selling sticker, lol. jack frost, from the smt franchise, a franchise im so new to but i love so dearly. im 100% a poser, ive never finished a megaten game. but… it just speaks to me. and thats where my cool japan feelings come from bc, like i said, i was selling at a japanese food festival. people my age, from the country i come from, were exposed to dragon ball and cardcaptor sakura from birth. and learning about history and the atrocities of the japanese empire is just. who can you trust. but ive aways resonated with one thing from japan, and it's the way they portray sadness in their works. it's become a ritual since last year that i will listen to smtv's ost when im on my period bc it literally brings me back to life. no one but i know how many times ive drawn goro majima and taiga saejima bc their mere existance and their sorrow resonates with me so immensily and i dont wanna see them being sad, nor do i wanna see me being sad. it's. it's really difficult to be to admit that im from brazil, bc our country sells happiness as an export but for many, many years the most popular genre is butthurt country music, and it makes sense, you know? people dont wanna admit they're sad. and i can only imagine what it's like for regular japanese people, bc we (i) get to see their big exports of bittersweetness… i dont know, maybe other people get to see that from brazil too, i dont know. the arts in brazil, or specially where i live, it's just isnt in the cards for us. but ill keep trying, you know. and i know fanart is a hack. but im trying. despite everything and everyone wanting us (me) to work for mining/metal/oil companies, make the most money, have the least health, drink all the alcohol (but call an uber), consume, reproduce and die, i. i just wanna draw tiny people, you know. it's. not that big a deal. all this to say that yes im gonna keep drawing and making stickers and, who knows, you know. these are stickers that i wont ever find near me, or that im too broke to get them from artists/official stores, so if youre like me, here's some pdfs in case you wanna print them and stick them wherever c: ty if you got this far, this is a big ramble… but it's been years in the making and despite everything im happy about it c:

RGG/Yakuza/Judgement at the Grocery Store
UPPER MANAGEMENT = UP WORKING CLASS = WC CHAIRMAN AND HIS ENTOURAGE = CE CLIENTS= C
Yakuza:
Kiryu (WC): Initially a Stock clerk was eventually Promoted to IT (responsible for price accuracy for the printed price shelf tags, maintaining the computers, point of sale software the cash registers use, and any electronic scales that weigh and print prices).
Akiyama (CE): Investor. Due to his generous “donations” to the company, he is part of the chairman’s entourage (due to his wallet’s size, his opinion matters). Thanks to him (and Tachibana), they were able to raise the salaries of the employees not part of upper management, so all of them love him and get along well when he is there. Akiyama can admit that he grew quite fond of many employees, especially Hana who will become his personal secretary. As expected, many members of upper management can’t stand him, wondering why he is even allowed to be around (they are jealous)
Haruka (WC): Cashier
Nishiki (WC): Online order clerk. Spends a lot of time chatting with Kiryu but likes his position since he is away from the upper management most of the day (he thinks they are scary and wants none of it)
Yumi (WC): Cashier
Daigo (CE): Chairman. A big picture of him is in the store saying he is the boss but you can rarely see him in the building. But for the few times, he visits the place, the upper management wake up out of their coma and pull up an act as if issues where not part of their daily lifes (they basically threaded MAjima to not blow the whistle about who is not doing their jobs. Saejima (WC):. He prefers something more simple and since he listens to Majima’s endless rants about his position everytime. he would better be left alone away from customer service but ended up as a Loss prevention associate (helps a grocery store combat and apprehend shoplifters and unlawful employees. They often monitor security cameras for suspicious activity, and some dress as shoppers to monitor activity covertly. Loss prevention associates often contact local law enforcement to alert them of problems.). Lee, who is a security guard works along him.
Ryuji (C): Rude customer
Yuya (WC): shopping cart attendant. While he was proposed higher level position many times, he declined them
Nishida (UP): Previously a stock clerk who graduated from his position to become Majima’s right man. They separate Majima’s workload between them.
Majima (UP): Customer Service Representative. Held to higher regard because of more experience, knowledge, and skills. Since nobody in this company wants to do their job, he has to do a lot people’s tasks. Is the main person dealing with issues with customers (that’s the person we send when they say “I wanna talk to the manager”). Stressed.
Date: (highest working class) Pharmacist.
Rikiya (WC): Floor Clerk
Hana: (upper working class) HR Secretary. She will likely interview new employees. Nishitani (UP): Supervisor. Regardless his personality, he actually does his job. He knows how to make the daily life spicy (Kashiwagi hates but since he knows how to manage rude clients to fuck off so gracefully and he can shut down arguments easily). Since he does his job so well, you can find do all type of random stuff in the store like taking hold of the AUX cord to blast Japanese 80s hits in the radion (play Namidawo Misenaide -Boys Don't Cry- by WINK) or buying items just to annoy Majima. His favorite activity is to announce employees birthdays on the store’s microphone before slapping a cake in their faces (Kiryu couldn’t escape it, Nishiki ran for his life). Nishitani succeeded to slap a cake in daigo’s face to everyone’s excitement (covertly or invertly expressed). He is just appointed himself to Mine’s burning anger, not now but one day. Always to take home what they are supposed get rid of (past date item and damaged food products) Mine (CE): Chairman Assistant/Secretary.
Kashiwagi (UP): Inventory Control Specialist. Give this man a break. He is at the clock at 6AM everyday. Mr. Black Coffee. He spends most of his time making calls to suppliers (and often arguing with them) and check the inventory (IF PEOPLE WERE ENTERING THE DATA CORRECTLY SMH.)
Shinida (WC): Grocery clerk, who graduated from his position to become (kinda off) Majima assistant to help with everyday tasks. To take charge when Majima is too tired or angry. If not, they kinda work as duo for Majima’s work load.
Tachibana (CE): Financial Advisor. He is basically the one over the upper management of the store. If it was not for him being so good at problem-solving and calm regardless of the situation, Daigo will penalize him for how poorly the upper management are doing their job (that’s not on him lol). Always wanted to give Kiryu a promotion so he could join the upper management team and put things back in order.
Baba (WC): shopping cart attendant. Just wants to put his earphones on be left alone.
Hamura, Kuze & Sagawa (UP): Head supervisior, but nobody is sure what is role is since they can’t answer nobody’s questions about anything. More the corporate type, since they send another head supervisor (lower than them) to do all the work (a.k.a answering clients complaints). they spend all their day laughing, chatting and smoking and discussing everything but work-related things. But if there’s financial losses or their quota are not met, you will sure hear one of them raging anger ready to crack the whip on any subordinates. Shimano (CE): Store Manager. He represents the Chairman when he is not there. So he kinda acts like he owns the place (in a way he does owns the building). He is the one watching over a lot of things in the store and especially keeping an eye over the employees. He picks Majima apart and sends Sagawa to scold him about what he is supposedly doing wrong. He is behind most (if not all) employees discharges. Keeps the business afloat. Mirei (UP): HR Yakuza 7/Like A Dragon
Ichiban (WC): Started as a custodian but (after Jo’s training) was upgraded to stock clerk for general merchandise and non-perishable food items. They are always calling him to go check prices and exchange articles since he is so fast and his store clerk colleagues are nowhere to be found.
Adachi (upper working class): Butcher Nanba: (upper working class) Works in the pharmacy.
Han Joongi (WC): Food Preparation: Bread.

6 (just to give a chance to gush c:), 7, 17, 21, for that Yakuza asks 💜
6. All time favorite character? Elaborate if you want?
OBVIOUSLY it's Kiryu 🥰. The smartest most rational character in the-- SIKE! MASATO AIZAWA ALL THE WAY BABY! THAT'S MY MAN! MY ONE AND ONLY (not really because i love nishiki too)! MY HUNNY BUNNY! MY TEDDY BEAR! Aside from him being so, sooo fucking scrumptious, i like his personality alot. He doesn't have patience for bullshit and barely knows how to keep his mouth shut (especially when he probs should). But at the same time, he's sensitive and freaks out when he doesn't know what to do. He's got sense but he's kind of an idiot, he's my sweet baby boy 💜 I love him forever
7. Any characters you can't stand? Elaborate if you want?
Kir-- okay, I'll stop. I swear. Yeah, Iwami (Y6) I fucking hate that little weasel. I would curb stomp his ass. He didn't deserve to have such a hot body. I would rib his abs clean off his torso.
17. Do you have a favorite "have they ever even met?" ship?
Not really. I'm not really all that into shipping if i'm honest. Chances are if I like a character enough to care about their lives romantically, I'm either shipping them with myself or an oc I've created. Very rarely do I pin characters together that haven't even interacted. I do have one friendship ship that I take very seriously tho and that's Nishiki and Aizawa. I've been flirting with the idea of Aizawa and Kaito being friends pretty heavily as well. (note: I guess I do have a few romantic ships but they're all people that know each other)
21. Mini game you through you'd hate but enjoyed?
I reallllllyyyy thought I was gonna hate Saejima's hunting minigame on Y5 but that shit was fun as hell after I got the stick out my ass about it.
unhingedselfships' ask game

5, 10, 13 :)
This got stupidly long. Sorry?
5. Does their existence make any major changes to the 'canon' story? Minor ones?
She inherently causes small tweaks simply by existing. You're throwing a whole new character, how ever minor, into the story.
With Daigo, its pretty consistent she keeps Mine alive.
Majima, I tend to default to the Y0 version, and she makes some changes here and there, not really altering things in a significant way, but making the road just a little smoother.
With Akiyama, honestly we probably see the fewest changes, but thats subject to change.
Kiryu, she honestly doesn't do much for him specifically, but she provides a much stronger support to the kids and Haruka, and absolutely goes over Kiryu's head when it comes to the orphanage.
When she flies solo, the options are nigh endless, from doing nothing but adding fun substory hijinks, to completely rewriting storylines in ways that make exactly no sense. (so yanno, perf for RGG lmlfao)
10. Who do they get along with? How close are they?
Her most notable non-romantic connections off the top of my head :
Nishikiyama : Makes the least sense from a narrative stand point, so I just ignore that part. She does the "talk-no-jutsu" in her own clunky way, and its basically just a big ol' rant about how he's been treated and it turns out basic respect and decency go a long way with him. She has no fear, she can get catty and snippy with him. And it works. She treats him like a person, an equal. They're "bitchy besties".
Saejima : She just kinda dubs him "bro" and refuses to let go. He accepts it. Ends up fairly protective of her. There might be some "lost a sibling" trauma bonding happening here.
Hana : It starts with Kimi just being generally helpful in ways Aki slacks on. Despite being just as lazy (read ; depressed) she feels bad about Hana's work load, so picks up where she can. Particularly in sorting and organization. The build a bond over time and "girls days out" become routine. (on Aki's dime ofc)
Mine : I love how complicated these two are. Calling them frenemies usually works. He loves and hates her in equal measure for her connection to Daigo. Hates that its her and not him, but Daigo is happy, and he can't hate that. When she isn't with Daigo romantically, they estabilish a friendship relatively similar to the one she has with Nishiki.
Nishida : Kimi just low key adores this dude. He's so reliable and he ends up something of a 'neutral party confidant' for her. She tries to make his life dealing with Maji easier where she can. Usually by distracting the man in question.
13. Do they have a fave 'mini game' activity?
There are so many mini games in this franchise. Lets get into a few more.
Poker/Black Jack/Roulette/Etc She doesn't hate card games, but they bore her fairly quickly and she's not very good at them.
Batting Cages She gets hit with the ball more often than she hits it. She tries but after a few bruises whoever she's with hauls her out.
Mahjong and Shogi Will try, and then get completely lost when people try to explain either one. "I'm too dumb for this, sorry"
Bowling, Pool/Billiards, and Table Tennis She is absolutely atrocious at both of these, however unlike the other games she's bad at, she has a ton of fun with them.
Pocket Circut She likes it, and she likes the tinkering, but she doesn't get super into it. She prefers to support someone else doing it, rather than participate herself.
Dancing/Disco Kimi can keep a beat pretty well, she has rhythm, but she's uncordinated as hell. She sticks to swaying happily off to the side. (she gets wigglier the drunker she is)
Darts She has piss poor hand-eye coordination, which makes her being pretty good at darts a surprise. She enjoys it, and gets smug when she does well.
Fishing Is the most tedious boring thing, and she hates it. (loves fishing mini games in video games though!)
MesuKing She finds it silly, and doesn't really play, but enjoys collecting things so she has a huge collection of cards just sitting around.
Karaoke She can actually sing pretty well. If she could stop crying. She has crippling stage fright and performance anxiety so its a no-go. She does enjoy tagging along to cheer people on though.

Minami Anonx7 If it helps Literally everyone I have known ever has brought up that I sound like a literal cartoon mobster henchman every time I call people boss so i've just embraced it now fully. Everyone is Boss To Me as I sling my guns goofily to Get Da Coppers. But I SEE…. i've been playing through the yakuza games chronologically I’m currently watching through y4 right now but id like to watch dead souls afterwards. It is extremely funny though the idea of watching them completely ramshackled out of order. Anyways. 1) I personally would love to play the minami centric side game also + I literally cannot imagine it’s anymore embarrassing a thing to want then me daydreamng abt the side game id like to make for my yakuza OC and 2) SOOOOOOO true I love it when Nishida and Minami are like sort of a awful duo together also I admire your like notes about M construction. I haven’t given it much thought yet on how it actually works but that’s mostly bc I have family who work in construction so I make myself laugh thinking Majima has no idea what the hell he’s doing LOL but anyways real…… Idk if you've ever read it but there’s an awesome fic on ao3 where it’s basically about how Nishida was also a prisoner of the hole and this like sort of implied idea or like at least smth I saw someone bring up before in conjunction idea that “Whilst Minami tries to emulate Majima Nishida actually IS like Majima in a way and the result of that has made him jaded/heavily desensitised” which i think adds a really interesting layer to the Relationship to think abt ep if it were canon. So this is why Desperately desperately I need a M construction side game I need something to focus on the majima family outside of him and honestly especially on Nishida…… tangent but there is so much interesting potential w him I want to see it explored !!!!!! Last note here but have u seen Minami's scene in RGG online before? I just found an English translation of it today and it had me very biting and chewing over A) Minami getting legitimately upset when his fake accent was mocked, not bc it was a slight against HIM but against MAJIMA and B) the sort of self deprecating mention he makes of what good is he if he’s not strong enough / good at smth before it immediately gets pushed aside by him and C) the implication that Minami is genuinely attached to Kamurocho/wants to protect it. If u havent i can try and find the post I saw abt it but. Much to think about
I HAVE SEEN THE RGGO STORY IT KILLS ME KILLS ME KILLS ME EVERY TIME. biting and chewing is a good way to describe it. have YOU seen the Nishida one? Minami shows up very briefly and i can practically already sense your reaction to his couple of lines (i grab and SHAKE him i shake him so much)
its so funny how hes so close to having any kind of depth and then he brushes it off immediately like "yeah this whole clan fuckup bothers me n has got me feelin insecure .lol lmao anyways". like as much as its kind of annoying as a fan of the character its also unfortunately realistic? EYE do that. you wouldnt catch me dead elaborating and having a nice rock-talk if my life was in the midst of being tableflipped. lol + lmao + anyways is the best you're gonna get
also, as a bonus tidbit before i go figure out how to format this idea for a tumblin post, this is half the setup for the Saejima teacher idea i was playing with ☝ because i already know RGG is NEVER going to put any meaningful spotlight on the Family members who've been essentially left to pick up their bootstraps with the big whoopsie of y7. sorry that i keep talking about it in code i dont wanna spoil nobody, in spite of not caring abt them myself i know others do 🙇♂️ i'm taking matters into my own hands and i am going to explore the IMPLICATIONS of the BIGGEST FAMILY POSSIBLY EVER going thru what it does. and i'm going to grab Minami by his non-existent shirt collar and i'm going to shake him around until he talks about how this affects him at least a little bit. i'll stop coding this in the Saejima Teacher plot post so you can decide if it matters 2 you or not and read up when i get to it btws
also your point about Nishida is spot on. you don't keep the kind of man who trembles at every conversation he has for that many years without breaking him down and making him (comparatively) jaded in such a stressful line of work. on top of that, Majima literally tests this man like its some sort of divine Greek-mythos punishment put unto him by the gods..... he's absolutely jaded underneath that shaky deadpan stare. Nishida may never outwardly resemble Majima, persona or the genuine self, but he absolutely rubs off on him and influences him heavily. this is the kinda relationship most Gokudo in the series seem to have with their bosses when they're worth a damn, Saejima was ready to walk to the ends of the earth for his patriarch due to the positive impact he had on him, and Majima likewise for his boss, though moreso in the opposite direction. not wholly..... Majima's priority of strength begets some kind of twisted respect towards Shimano. I wonder if he lacks that respect for Sagawa, who as far as I remember never physically overpowers or threatens Majima except for when he's already down and weakened in some form.......? getting off track. point is Oyajis are very very influential to their precious boys, their Family will reflect them (personality, how he runs the joint, etc) regardless if they want it to or not. Majimemegoro has some baller fics exploring all this and it's a large part of what influences me today.....
Speaking of, i would love the title of that fic you've mentioned... i'm a little picky of which fanfic i'll give the time of day but Nishida also having experience with Anagura is tantalising. like that's so tragic.... that's so evil...... i'm sitting here wondering to myself if he was a survivor or.. yknow........ because no one else, in canon, "made it out" of Anagura alive. or, more specifically, no victims make it out of Anagura. Majima was always the exception. either option makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it...... cause if he is another victim then the way Majima treats him is just.... and if he's not then is his constant dedication to him like a form of atonement....... oouuhhhrggg......... im going to hit the wall...........
also! i'd love to hear if you have any unique takes regarding M.Con considering your family...... when i say im pulling ideas out of my ass i mean it. you've got access to a unique perspective methinks. closest i got is other people's accounts and (shudders) ausgov roadworkers i see occasionally............
also also! when you get to dead souls please bitch to me the moment something goes awry i HATE-love dead souls.... the characterisation makes me stub my toe repeatedly in frustration. its not bad and i dont want to be the NO FUN ALLOWED twat but ugghghhghghrghrhgrhg the zombie setting is not handled in a way that engages me. thats all i'll say bc otherwise ill be here forever venting all my nitpicks that i SHOULD throw on twitter but wont bc i got hardcore DS dickrider mutuals who'll get sad in my mentions at best and maybe take it personally at worst
#ikildaman shut the fuck up#thank you for your service minami anon goon(getting me to speak at length#i love these asks its like a hop skip and a jump away from resembling a writers room#i love bouncing ideas off of ppl and getting new ones back....... joy joyous joy#i DO have a friend i could probably get away with doing this with but i think theyll get mad at me for making em read so much english LMAO#he puts up with my deranged bullshit enough as it is (and i am thankful#kuppi if you see this. kidding ik you wont but KISSIES!
