What are Rare Skills?

In Assault Lily, Rare Skills are potent abilities which each Lily has one and only one of. Lilies tend to awaken to them during their years at which their magie is at its peak (i.e. high school, or close to it.) For example, Miriam Hildegard von Gropius awakened her Rare Skill just before entering high school, and Hitotsuyanagi Riri and Kawabata Hotaru awakened theirs during their first year.

Not all Lilies have a Rare Skill, though it's quite rare—no pun intended—for any Lily featured in an Assault Lily story to not have one. Some of the only examples are Hitotsuyanagi Riri (at the very beginning of Bouquet and League of Gardens) and Kondo Misaka.

Rare Skills are said to reflect each individual Lily's personality, with this being the reason that every Lily only has a single one, and there are vague "stereotypes" associated with some of them. Lilies with Phantasm are often said to be daydreamers, and those with Heliosphere tend to be dependable people who balance rationality with emotion.

Some Lilies' Rare Skills are more powerful than those of others, and Lilies are ranked C, B, A and S depending on the power of their Rare Skill, though generally only Rank S is considered especially worthy of note. Rank S Rare Skills often have unique powers that lesser users of the skills cannot manifest at all, such as Heliosphere's "beam coat".

Lilies also have "subskills", which are lesser versions of Rare Skills that have about 70% of their power at most. Even so, subskills are almost as important as Rare Skills in combat, because Lilies can have several of them (as many as seven.) All subskills correspond to a Rare Skill, but some Rare Skills have no known subskill equivalent. They have different names from their Rare Skill versions.

The Long List

Brave

Notable Users: Hatsukano Yo (Last Bullet), Hasegawa Gabriella Tsugumi (stage plays), Nagasawa Yuki (stage plays) Subskill: None known

Brave users are able to purify negative magie within those Lilies who the user touches. This makes then the ideal partners for Lunatic Trancer users, as Yo demonstrates with Ran and Tsugumi demonstrates with Kayo. However, it consumes quite a bit of the user's own magie, so it has to be used judiciously.

At Rank S, Brave can be used to affect a wide area, creating an effect similar to that of Regista (but less powerful.)

Circlet Bless

Notable Users: Banshoya Ena, Rokkaku Shiori, Fukuyama Jeanne Sachie (stage plays) Subskill: None known

Circlet Bless is real simple. If you have it, you can wield a different CHARM in both hands. If you don't, you're stuck with one CHARM (or you have to get a fancy, expensive CHARM like the Triglav that's specifically designed to be dual-wieldable without Circlet Bless.)

Circlet Bless only began to appear recently. Banshoya Ena and Tiuccia Paumgartner were the first known Circlet Bless users, and they both awakened to it during the Koshu Withdrawal, two years ago. It makes Lilies with it much more powerful, so it's quickly become an important Rare Skill.

Despite the picture above hinting that "circlets" are involved in some way, we have no idea why it's called Circlet Bless.

Hawk's Eye

Notable Users: Futagawa Fumi, Takashima Yakumo (Last Bullet) Subskill: Clairvoyance

Hawk's Eye gives its users a birds-eye view of the battlefield over a large area. This comes bundled for free with the mental ability to easily process that much information, as if one were playing a board game (aside from in some unusual circumstances, demonstrated in episode 10 of Bouquet.)

Though within the setting itself, it has never been stated to be an uncommon RS, Hawk's Eye is one of the least frequent ones for named Lilies to have; it's possessed by only 6 of them, out of over 200 Lilies that we know of.

Heaven's Measure

Notable Users: Wang Yujia, Tanba Akari (Last Bullet) Subskill: Magic Eye

Heaven's Measure (also known as The Scales of Heaven) allows its users to manifest a series of mystical scopes in front of their eye and reckon the distance to the target down to the centimeter, as well as enhancing their eyesight in general. Needless to say, this skill is a major asset to snipers.

At Rank S, Heaven's Measure grants another ability called "Dead Eye Motion", which slows the user's subjective perception of time.

Like Hawk's Eye, Heaven's Measure is an uncommon RS from a meta perspective and is possessed by only 9 named Lilies.

Heliosphere

Notable Users: Amano Soraha, Serizawa Chikaru (Last Bullet), Seto Veronica Ichika (stage plays) Subskill: Consecration

One can think of Heliosphere as the opposite of Regista: instead of creating a field that makes Lilies stronger, it creates a field that makes the Huge weaker. While it doesn't come with the nice extras that Regista does, even a low-ranked user of the skill is a major asset to their team.

At Rank S, Heliosphere users can surround themselves with a "beam coat" that shields them against negative magie and weak attacks.

Laplace

Notable Users: Hitotsuyanagi Riri (...probably), Shiba Tomoshibi (stage plays) Subskill: Charisma

Laplace is a new and mysterious Rare Skill, and in Assault Lily Bouquet, no one seems to have been quite sure what it did yet.

However, all indications since are that it's a souped-up version of its subskill, Charisma. It creates a field that shields Lilies from negative magie, supposedly via the user actually absorbing it from the nearby Huge and inverting its polarity, then radiating it again as usable magie. For unclear reasons, this seems to allow more (sometimes far more) than nine Lilies to take part in the Neunwelt Tactic.

Laplace is unique among Rare Skills in that it typically appears first in Lilies as its subskill version, Charisma, and over time evolves into Laplace.

It isn't 100% confirmed that Riri has Laplace, but as a playable character in Last Bullet she does, so… she probably does.

Lunatic Trancer

Notable Users: Shirai Yuyu, Sasaki Ran (Last Bullet), Funada Kiito & Ui (stage plays) Subskill: Threshold of Madness

Lunatic Trancer is said to balance a Lily upon the threshold of madness (hey, that's also what its subskill is called.) This lets her go well beyond her physical limits, ignore gravity, and even continue fighting if her heart stops beating. But it also makes her build up negative magie like crazy, which can have major consequences for her later.

Despite statements to the contrary in some Assault Lily stories, Lunatic Trancer by itself does not normally cause Lilies to attack their fellow Lilies. More on that later.

Phantasm

Notable Users: Ando Tazusa, Egawa Kusumi, Hanaoka Angela Moe (stage plays) Subskill: Rainbow Path

Phantasm users can simulate a vast number of illusionary futures, near-instantaneously within their mind, and choose their desired outcome. They can then telepathically transmit the actions necessary to produce that outcome to nearby Lilies.

However, the Lily needs to trust their allies to do as they're directed in order to make good use of this Rare Skill.

This RS is canonically one of the rarest ones there is, but from a meta perspective it's not as uncommon as many others are, with 26 Lilies known to have it.

Phase Transcendence

Notable Users: Miriam Hildegard von Gropius, Endo Araya, Iijima Renka (Last Bullet) Subskill: Awakening

Phase Transcendence users can channel a huge amount of magie into a single powerful attack, capable of taking out stronger Huge like large-types in one blow. This often leaves them completely incapacitated afterwards, as Miriam has demonstrated more than once. Without good teamwork, it's quite dangerous for the user.

In contrast to Miriam, higher-ranked Phase Transcendence users like Araya tend not to be left completely unable to move after using the RS.

Regista

Notable Users: Kaede Johan Nouvel, Aizawa Kazuha (Last Bullet), Kon Kanaho (Last Bullet) Subskill: War God's Protection

This skill does a lot. The most important thing Regista does is create a field that improves the purity of magie, increasing the offensive power of nearby Lilies. It also shields those Lilies from harm, and includes the ability to see the battlefield from above similar to Hawk's Eye (though it's less powerful than Hawk's Eye and comparable to its subskill version.)

Having at least one Regista user is considered virtually mandatory for performing the Neunwelt Tactic, and thus, for forming a legion at all.

Shukuchi

Notable Users: Yoshimura Thi Mai, Sano Matilda Kokoro (stage plays) Subskill: Invisible One

This skill lets a Lily move incredibly fast. That's it. Normally they can move only virtually instantaneously, but at Rank S, Shukuchi users can create wormholes known as "gates."

Shukuchi is another of the least common RSes from a meta perspective. Only 6 named Lilies have it.

Testament

Notable Users: Kuo Shenlin, Toki Kureha (Last Bullet), Kawamura Yuzuriha (stage plays) Subskill: Promised Land

This Rare Skill allows Lilies to boost the area of effect of other Lilies' powers. But it also consumes a great deal of the user's magie, weakening their defenses. Testament users are at risk of injury or death whenever they use it, and often wield specialized CHARMs focused on personal defense. Teamwork is especially important for them.

Canonically (but not from a meta perspective), Testament is one of the most uncommon RSes.

Übersein

Notable Users: Li Christina Susu (stage plays) Subskill: Stealth

Übersein (also known as Ubersign) allows a Lily to become invisible and completely erase her presence from both friends and enemies. She can also make other objects seem to be her in order to lure the Huge in. Übersein is considered a very helpful skill when performing the Neunwelt Tactic, as it can help clear the way for passes.

Rank S Übersein users can do something that's a massive spoiler for the stage play Assault Lily: Lost Memories. Maybe I should make a post about that play with a spoiler warning...

From a meta perspective, Übersein is the least common RS. Only three Lilies are known to have it.

The Way of the World

Notable Users: Mashima Moyu, Sadamori Himeka (Last Bullet), Amamiya Sophia Seren (stage plays) Subskill: Whole Order

This RS (also known as World's Reason) lets its users anticipate the direction in which Lilies, the Huge, and other things will continue to move. It greatly increases one's personal evasive ability and can also be used to warn allies of danger.

The Way of the World can also be used offensively in order to hit many enemies with a single attack or flurry of attacks.

Z

Notable Users: Amatsu Marei (stage plays), Kosaka Anastasia Ryoko (stage plays) Subskill: None known, but it's rumored that Yamanashi Hibari might be the first Lily to have it

Z, also known as Control-Z and Last Letter, lets a Lily rewind time within an area about the breadth of her armspan. It can save the lives of critically injured Lilies, and also do things like repair CHARMs that overheat or break in the midst of battle.

Z is an incredibly uncommon RS both within the canon and outside it. Five named Lilies are known to have it.

Zenon Paradoxa

Notable Users: Hata Matsuri, Miyagawa Takane (Last Bullet), Hishida Haru (stage plays) Subskill: None known

Zenon Paradoxa is often considered to be a fusion of Shukuchi and The Way of the World, and allows its users to make swift and powerful attacks. It's a straightforward RS that is prized when choosing Lilies to go on the offense.

Things That Aren't Rare Skills

Earlier I wrote "Lunatic Trancer by itself does not normally cause Lilies to attack their fellow Lilies," so why did Yuyu do it? I'll just direct you to the wiki article on Divine Possession. This isn't a phenomenon associated with Lunatic Trancer in specific; Hishida Haru, a Zenon Paradoxa user, is also susceptible to it.

There are also Boosted Skills. I described some of them in my blog post on Boosted Lilies.

Aside from those, some Lilies have powers that, for whatever reason (perhaps because they're often incredibly rare and have only been observed in a single Lily, and because those Lilies already have Rare Skills) aren't themselves considered Rare Skills. A well-known example is Mori Tatsuki's ability to hear what the Huge are "saying" to one another. Another Lily at Yurigaoka, Hara Midori of Legion Reginleif, can somehow sense the presence of nearby Huge or Caves through her skin.

GEHENA has recently been experimenting with two abilities of this sort, "Sacred Eye" and "Evil Eye," that are possible to implant into Lilies in the manner of Boosted Skills. It is not yet fully clear what these abilities do...

I'm glad your back cause I've had next to nobody to talk about Naruto/mha Au's with I have a lot of thoughts idk what this ask is but just my thoughts

Gaara is so Todoroki but also Sai is so Todoroki

How do you think Naruto would get along with Deku? I think his loud personality would be a sharp contrast to how quiet Deku is but also I can see him understanding but also not agreeing with Deku alot on different things. Both of them definitely end up getting a lot of hero costume upgrades due to destroying them. I think Naruto wouldnt like the way Bakugo sort of bullies Deku in the beginning and he would try and pick fights with Bakugo, Naruto would bring out the worse in Bakugo and try to rival him and square up him they would be so choaticlly funny together like can you not see Naruto getting angry someone compared to Bakugo because of his brashness?

I think Sakura would always be flailing her arms at "don't you care how Naruto's making our class look?" At either their homeroom teacher or classmates who dont give a damn about how they represented like Sasuke.

20 kids in the class idk id Kakashi would be a pro hero or their homeroom teacher but I'm going for homeroom I know that's not how it works but I'm gonna say Naruto's class is class C I know class C isnt hero course but let's pretend it is

1st years Naruto Sasuke Sakura Kiba Shino Hinata Shikamaru Ino Choji Maybe Gaara Tamari? Sai? Hanabi?

My exception for Hanabi is she skipped a grade I could say this for Konohamaru as well but I dont want him in Naruto's class he isnt exceptional enough

I'm running out of characters so I might pick up some side characters from filler arcs like

Sumaru from the star village cause I like that arc

Menma from the menma memory mission

Sora from shippuden filler

Sasume from the fuma clan

Yakumo from the Kurenai filler she was really cool character

Amaru from the Shippuden movie cause I super ran out of characters and needed one and I didnt wanna turn someone into a child

Or he was put there to be a spy idk I never finished Shippuden so I dont know enough about Sai ( I made it to the part where Shikamaru comforts Naruto about Jiraiya's death) you can spoil me I know a lot of how everything transpires just not the details in between

Tenten Lee and Neji are 2nd years

Kankuro is in support course probably a 2nd year? The reason Temari isnt a 2nd year is because in gonna say she failed her test on purpose to stay with Gaara cause I remember she didnt take the Chunin exam for some reason canonly cause I remember Kankuro saying something about this to her in the Gaara chunin exam arc

Lee would so hype up Deku, Lee is the only quirkless kid going to UA hear me out, think of every character who's quirk has next nothing to do with how strong they are? Now ask yourself do you think they could still do half the stuff they've done I'd having the quirk doesn't matter

I think Bakugo wouldnt like Lee XD he'd call him bowl head or something, Tenten would not like Bakugo XDD I think Tenten should be in hero course but I also think she would do good in support

The first incident is the land of waves incident and while Deku is helping Iida with stain Naruto and Sasuke are fighting Zabuza and Haku that's where their internship lead them

I like to think everyone wanted to intern Sasuke after the sports festival but Sasuke wants to go with Kakashi cause their quirks are similar and he can teach him stuff, Sakura picks Kurenai cause in the anime Kurenai could have taught Sakura genjutsu so maybe their quirks are not so the same but Kurenai can teach Sakura something

Naruto goes with Jiraiya cause he spent a lot of time with him when he was teaching him about the frog thing when he fell off that cliff so Naruto is training with him cause hes the only person who wanted Naruto

Somehow they were lead to the same place and Kakashi figures out something and rush's over cause he has to save his students

Naruto ends up killing Haku I dont know how Zabuza would die but I want them to still go out cause this shaped Naruto very much he makes recalls to this a lot this is a pivotal point in his life Kakashi Naruto Sakura and Sasuke are there to witness Stain save Deku from the Nomu and feel his blood curdling wrath, they are taken to the same hospital as Deku Todoroki and Iida and told the same thing by the chief police cause they should not have been allowed to fight Zabuza, Naruto agrees with Todoroki and agrees to calling the chief police a mutt XD he adds mangy mutt but the situation is explained. Kakashi cant loose his teaching license like Gran torino but he loses taking on interns for a year

This point Naruto and Sakura really try to befriend Deku and his class because they were both put into terrible situations I do not think Sasuke would get along with Todoroki and I dont think he would care for Iida's personality however he would admire his speed

I dont know how to feel about Gaara getting humbled early cause his fight with Naruto in the sports festival would probably be the thing that put Naruto in the hospital with Deku during the sports fes but again I think he could meet him in the license exam but there isnt enough time to focus on truly going all out in a fight in the license exam

In the calvary battle I think Sasuke would form his own team and Naruto would form his own team as well, I think Sakura would want to be on Sasukes team but he dismisses her because from his perspective shes useless and hasn't really done anything so Sasuke would probably try and team up with Lee maybe? When they had their little fight before the tournament cause I plan to have Sasuke get his ass beat by Neji so Lee doesnt fight Sasuke in the tournament.

Naruto's team is Sakura Hinata I wanna say Shikamaru cause again my heart goes out to them but if not Shikamaru Sora cause nobody wants to be on Sora's team cause I remember him being really hyper aggressive starting a fight with Kiba and just being really jerk I do like Sora but he was mean lol Naruto is a rider while Sakura,Hinata and Sora or Shikamaru are horses

Sasukes team is probably just Neji Tenten and Lee cause they might not wan a part with eachother and from Sasukes perspective these people are stronger then the fools in his class but theh wont let Sasuke be a rider which makes him mad, they either want Lee or Neji as the rider in leaning towards Neji he either completely disagrees and leaves the team or just swallows his pride cause beating the other teams Is the focus here.

Kiba Shino are a little mad Hinata ditch them maybe they will team up with Sai?

Just because Kankuro is in support doesnt mean he doesnt take part in this like Mei so sand siblings are back together here Gaara is riding and they are horses, I feel like Gaar would pick anybody to have a 3rd person here so maybe he picks Yakumo cause shes insanely quiet and murderous lol

Neji and Naruto definitely fought in the sports festival, Neji definitely fought Sasuke, I think for the sake of wanting Naruto to fight Neji and not having Naruto fight Sasuke yet I'm gonna say Neji beat Sasuke's ass in the final round for two reasons, Neji has more experience cause hes a 2nd year and I think it would be funny cause Sasuke did have a little rival dynamic with Neji

Making Sasuke more insane that Neji beat him along with Lee then watching Lee fight Gaara has to have pissed him off severely.

They also fight Kabuto maybe and he reveals to them hes evil and drops out of the competition after getting whatever he wants like in the Chunin exams, allowing someone to move up cause hes not there for his fight, I think Kabuto before they knew he was evil was Sasuke's second gay awakening cause Kabuto was kinda really nice to them and saved Sasuke at some point lol I remember pausing it on a scene where Kabuto jumps over on top of Sasuke to save him from an attack at the end of the Chunin exams

Sasuke almost gets disqualified for breaking that sound ninja's arms this is before he fights Neji but somehow he doesn't lol

Sakura having her fight where she cuts her hair. I have a headcanon that Ino gets scared of Sasuke when she witnesse him brutally beat those guys in the Chunin exam so Ino is afraid Sasuke at this point and doesnt pretend to have a crush on him anymore cause ya mans fucking psychopath.

So yeah, i'm gonna say Gaara he was humbled early on that is if he goes to UA I'm very leaning on yes he does go to UA

Sakura and Ino knock eachother out like Kirishima and Tetsutetsu and they have to determine a winner but both girls have 0 want for a rematch idk how this would end I personally think Sakura should win but maybe it would humble her in some way if Ino won showing Ino is still somewhat a stronger person than Sakura like when they were kids idk

I think Kakashi went to UA with Aizawa and Mic along with Gai Obito and Rin that sounds right

I think Sakura and Ino should be paired for the final exams for lesbian reasons/j but no yeah they need to have their argument. I would love Sasuke and Naruto to be paired I ready would but my Shikanaru heart tells me it should have the smartest kid and the dumbest kid working together Tsu and Tokoyami passing depended solely on it Tokoyami would listen to her so it's not far fetch to think Naruto and Shikamaru would depend on Naruto listening to Shikamaru I also kinda want to Sasuke Sakura pair up but Sasuke maybe Hinata because Hinata needs to learn how to have a backbone idk how pairing her with sasuke would do this but it might cause he might need her somehow we are getting

Kiba/Shino cause they are gay

Gaara and Tamari cause he needs to have a moment with his sister and apologize to her again for treating her the way he used to and they can have a heart to heart, and come out on top kinda like Todoroki and Momos final exam

If not Hinata and Sasuke, Hinata and Hanabi so they can work out their issues of Hinata being whatever she is in this AU with their dad and stuff, cause I'm thinking if Hinata is on Sasuke team shes gonna wanna only do as he says but she might try and take charge with Hanabi to protect her but she doesnt believe in her self enough and when something happens Hinata blames her self where Hanabi says she never blamed Hinata for anything that happened however their famliy plays out in this setting

I'm gonna be real with you, I dont really care for Choji and I'm not gonna pair up everyone else cause it's not really important and I dont remember a damn thing from those filler eps but I do remember Sora got on my nerves and Sasume whole thing was pretending to be a boy, Menma died with his ocarina, Sumaru thought he knew better then Naruto, Yakumo was overpowered and just really wanted to kill Kurenai so I have to rewatch those eps to give them plot and relevants

Everyone passes with flying colors

I like the idea we had where Naruto thought they weren't going to training camp and he wanted to go so he convinced Sakura and Sasuke to sneak onto the bus even though they were going anyway and there was no reason for that, that's funny as hell, Sasuke caught acting like a fool moment XD

In the training camp Class C is allowed along and I think either Kakashi or Iruka should be the one taking them cause Iruka having a falling out with Kakashi over the Zabuza thing and not trusting him with Naruto's safety from my AU is my golden goat. It's funny cause when the training camp gets attack hes unable to protect Naruto the way he thought he could.

I think Hinata would get along fine with class A girls, she kinda looks like Jirou, you mentioned before you think Kiba and Kirishima would get along I think they could be friends but Kiba is kinda mean and that's why Kirishima gets along with him cause he gets along with Bakugo. I think Shino scare the piss outta present Mic for fun. I think Kirishima would try to befriend Sasuke I think the Bakusquad would be sort of drawn to being his friend cause hes gloomy.

What does Naruto's training at the camp look like? I should elaborate on their quirks but this is overly long dnfjdjfjf

I'll end it on everyone's location when the camp gets attacked.

Naruto wants to save Sasuke I dont think the league of villains wants Sasuke but the Akatsuki wants Naruto so they maybe either came as a opposing force or are pretending to work with the vanguard squad to get what they want. They sent Itachi and Kisame only and this is where Sasuke gets in his "fight" that fucks his shit up so bad Naruto is running through the forest looking for Sasuke i was gonna say he runs into Deku and Shoji hiding from Dark shadow but I wanna say he runs into Todoroki and Bakugo fighting moonfish I say this so Deku doesnt get help fighting Muscular and saving Kota cause I think Kota would remind Naruto of Konahamaru but he wouldnt like him at first so Naruto and Deku get kicked in the balls by Kota and Naruto has 0 interest in him after that lol he just wants to fight the little kid. Bakugo and Sasuke share a tiny moment of smirking at this before Bakugo turns to yell at Todoroki for saying he reminds him of Bakugo and Sasuke. Kibas laughing his ass off while Hinata goes over with Iida to ask if they are ok, Sakura holds Naruto back so he doesnt attack Kota

I'm going to say Hinata and Sakura are with Tsu and Uraraka when they get attacked by Himiko idk how this plays out but Hinata vs Himiko would be really fucking cool, Himiko ends up getting blood from Hinata as well

Kiba and Shino are there with Kendo and Tetsu fighting Mustard cause his smoke fucks with having bugs and Kiba's nose

The devastation in Naruto having to watch Bakugo get taken when they get Tokoyami calmed down and mr compress takes them, Naruto feels for people and I feel like he would really feel for Deku here he might feel responsible for not doing enough, Itachi having knocked Sasuke out they dont want Sasuke they want Naruto so the vanguard squad is free to take Sasuke but I feel like Itachi would have a heart and not want this to happen cause I believe itachi should be allowed to show love to his brother, he let's Naruto take Sasuke

Either Jiraiya is zooming over there when he finds out what happened so he can save Naruto and have his fight with the Akatsuki members or Iruka is gonna get hurt fighting them to save Naruto in leaning more Iruka but Jiraiya does get there but not in time, hes there to tell Naruto Sasuke shit got rocked and his brain is probably damaged from itachi's quirk

Temari would be with Iida and the rest of them when the pussycats fight spinner and Magne I think she would want to stay and help fight which unevens the oods but Mandalay says they want the students so they should go back to where Kirishima and them are, idk how this plays out shes worried about Gaara

Either Gaara is out there fighting the Nomu that was chasing the class B student and Momo when Momo put a tracking device on it or Gaara didnt do well on his final exam and is with Kirishima and thw rest of class A plus Monoma when Mandalay uses her quirk to tell them they are after Bakugo

So either they take Sasuke captured with Bakugo cause they saw him in the sports festival and Shigaraki is like "yeah that one is really evil energy too, his quirk is strong we can get him on our side"

I dont remember what we talked about Sasuke being there when Bakugo got captured but I do remember we said did talk about the akatsuki and the league of villains at this part I'll have to find it and go over it.

This whole situation was terrible for everyone.

If Sasuke is stolen it isnt hard to convince Naruto to go with Deku to save Bakugo and Sasuke and fully agrees with Kirishima. Sakura is sort of on Iida's side that they shouldn't and she goes with them for that reason. If Sasuke is not stolen he has his fight with Naruto cause hes pissed and he leaves then

What if we think of Gaara as Dabi (reformed) and Sai as Shoto?

Personally, i think Naruto and Izuku would get along really well, even if deku is quieter, i think Naruto would respect him a lot for aiming for his dreams, they're also both lowkey outcasts in society so they would bond over that. If we think about it, being quirkless is like not being able to use ninjutsu, so i think he would also get along super well with Rock Lee!! Can totally see Naruto not liking Bakugo, they would fight as rivals, but i don't see them getting along until Katsuki has his shift as a person.

Kakashi could be both tbh, working as a teacher and underground hero in the after-school hours!!

Lowkey feel like Lee would hate bakugo lmao, his morals are just too strong and rigid, i don't think he would appreciate seeing him put other people down, tenten and neji would also keep to themselves

You breathed heavily and cried out in pain, the number of Relics being absorbed in your body proving to be too much as you nearly collapsed onto the ground. Louis’s hands began to tremble as your eyes began to grow an even deeper shade of blue that glowed from within the throne room. A familiar light was cast behind you, revealing several of the Queen’s spears that began to fall upon your friends.

You struggled with yourself, trying to pull the Relics out of your body but eventually succumbed to the pain of the Queen’s resurrection. Her miasma grew intensely, the blue color engulfing your vision entirely. As Yakumo and Jack yelled out for a cover, Louis took the momentary distraction to sneak behind your withering body. He slid his sword towards you, only for it to be stopped by your hand, the blade going no further than the first layer of skin. 

Your body moved on its own, their once bright (e/c) eyes had turned into a deep blue that glowed menacingly. The Queen snapped her head towards Louis, the man sweating and restraining himself from breaking down at the sight of you being used as Cruz’s vessel. 

“You got to be kidding me. . .” Yakumo stared at you in disbelief, watching as the Queen held onto Louis’s sword with your hands and flung him across the room, leading him back to your friends.

He coughed out a groan of pain before quickly getting back onto his feet, steadying himself for the approaching and inevitable battle that had befallen them. They must have miscalculated and overestimated your capability score. causing the worst disaster to be born right before their eyes. Although you had the Queen’s blood flowing within you, you were not immune to frenzy nor the resurrection. 

Jack tightened his grip on his weapon, turning his head to the side as his past memories of your journey flashed in front of him, “there's only one thing left to do at this point, isn’t there?”

The Queen stared down at your body, observing your hands and the ground below you before addressing the threat in front of her. She was utterly surprised to feel alive once more, even if it meant the expense of your own body and existence. History will begin to repeat itself if they chose not to stop the Queen at this very moment. 

“We. . . We’re going to do what we must to protect the world!” Mia cried, “it is the one thing they wanted to do the most so. . . We came this far, we can’t let everyone’s death be in vain!” 

Everyone cried out at the same time, lunging themselves forward for what seems to be their final moments. Mia and Eva stayed behind, firing multiple shots and dispersing the spears with their respective elements, trying to pull through to see the start of the world. Louis and Jack ran towards you, hitting their swords against your body but having it be deflected. In the small window of opportunity that had been created from the two’s separation, Yakumo tried to slam his weapon on the Queen’s skull. 

The Queen grabbed onto his sword with ease, using the momentum of his body to have it crash with the approaching Louis and Jack. Yakumo spun around in the air for a short while before his head collided with the hard ground. She tossed his weapon to the other side in a mocking tone, almost as if to toy with the fact that he was given another chance to kill her. The Queen raised your body’s hand to guide the spears towards the group, the sky raining down droplets that stabbed itself into the ground. 

In a matter of minutes, each of them began to detonate, the impact reaching Mia’s fragile body which began to drop to the ground. Eva stepped forward, shielding Mia’s groaning body as she continued to slash through the spears with her bayonet, deflecting them as much as possible but they merely slid centimeters away from her skin. Louis continued to combat you head-on, his sword hitting the bone of your wrist but there wasn’t much sign of damage. The Queen dodged many of his faster attacks, your body leaning much closer towards Jack who fired a bloodshot at her.  

She swiped the shot away and glided forward, hitting Jack with immense power to send him flying back towards Eva. She cried out in frustration, moving to your body while Jack and Mia recovered. She attempted to stab through your stomach but you weaved to the side, delivering a kick to her scar-covered body. She was caught by Jack who gently settled her back to her feet, throwing another bloodshot at you to cage the Queen’s attention.

Yakumo fluidly dodged through the flying spears and his weapon finally connected with the side of your body. The Queen was thrown to the ground as he pushed his legs forward, trying to reach your heart. However, the Queen slid away and frustratedly floated to higher ground. Everyone prepared themselves for another wave of spears but they peeked through their weapons and fingers to see your body crying out in pain. 

As your blue eyes flashed between its normal color and the Queen’s, Louis held onto his sword tightly as he winced in pain. You clawed at your heart, pulling yourself to the ground as you forced a cough through your lips. You were so close to killing your friends that the thought terrified you greatly, giving you the chance to at least regain a small portion of your body. You grabbed onto your wrist, restraining the Queen from taking further action with your body. 

“Everyone. . . Hurry. . .” You gasped, your body trembling greatly as you tried to fight back against the Queen’s strong will to live, “she’s ripping me apart on the inside. . . ! Damn this woman!”

The red-haired man took no chances against you, his will to send you to the grave as a mercy kill growing even stronger than before. Yakumo rushed forward to use a spinning attack, cutting through the first layer of your skin as you step backward. Eva and Mia continued to fire shots at your body, many of them barely grazing the edges of your body as the Queen shoved Yakumo away from her. 

Jack weaved through, dodging the wide strikes that the Queen was delivering in order to break through the bone of your body. The Queen cried out in pain, holding onto your wrist as her form quickly forced your body to regenerate at an inhuman speed. She glared at Jack, swiping her hand across the battlefield to shoot a barrage of attacks. He quickly deflected them by using his sword and body to maneuver himself around the bullets, steadying his body as the rest of the group continued to use up their Ichor concentrate to deliver blows. 

“(Y/n)!” Louis called out, running forward with his sword outstretched to you. You snapped your eyes, the familiar (e/c) color staring at him as you broke free one last time. Your tear-soaked eyes almost saw his outstretched sword as if his hand was reaching for you. 

Fate was cruel yet again as the Queen held onto his sword with your other hand, trying to push him back. The group fumbled with the weapons to continue shooting at the spears that were coming close to Louis’s body, shielding him from the barrage of attacks as he focused on the strength of his arms and your heart. The Queen forced his sword back several inches away from your heart but Louis pressed further, digging his heels into the ground. The man struggled heavily with the strength of the Queen, the pain of living within a world without you in it slowly creeping closer to the forefront of his mind. 

You were a ray of hope within the red mist that plagued the edges of ruined cities, a smile that seemingly brightened the room when you stepped through the doors. With the abundance of gifts you brought for the group and smiles that calmed their nervous jitters, it was hard to believe that someone like you could succumb to the darkness of the world. Louis grit his teeth, the strength of his arms growing tired as the rest of the group tried to reach him. 

“Louis. . .” You whispered, his eyes widening at the sound of your voice slipping past your lips, “damn it. . .”

“Like hell. . . Am I going to let her live!” Your eyes glowed a bright hue of (e/c) as your second handheld onto Louis’s crimson sword, the digits of your fingers wrapping around as you bit your tongue. The ground underneath you shook violently. You glared at the sword in a fierce determination, your body using up all of its strength to battle against the woman. 

Louis watched in shock as you pulled his sword closer to your heart, trying desperately to get the sword to pierce you. The Queen was locked in a fight between your resisting body and Louis’s unyielding passion, her body growing slightly weaker, giving you the final opportunity you were waiting for. 

It was a game of intense tug of war but the biting of your tongue grew even stronger, your blue blood sipping from between your lips and dribbling down your chin. 

“Queen. . . Go straight to hell!” You screamed, forcing his Enduring Crimson blade through your heart. You coughed blood on Louis’s purifier mask, squeezing his blade as you forced it even deeper within yourself. The Crimson color of his blade was dyed a bright blue color, the strength from within his arms being sapped away at the sight of your dying body. 

The spears shattered completely, your body growing limp while the Queen’s miasma quickly died down. Louis begrudgingly pulled his sword out of you, his eyes filling themselves with hot tears. He forced himself to look at anything but you, but his body refused to move as he is blinded by his own tears. You dropped to your knees before your body collapsed to the ground, your blue blood staining the floor of the throne room. 

“Leave this to me,” he said, dropping his sword as he wept over your body.

Natural Monster : A++ Yukari's mental state is alien to humanity, yet she understands humans well.  Grants all the benefits of Mental Pollution, but none of the downsides. Protection from Arrows : A+ Yukari can defend against any projectile of any power, at the cost of not being able to attack.  However she can later use that projectile as a weapon herself. Eyes in the Walls : A As an ascended Mokumokuren, Yukari can focus on a building she can see.  Within that building she can spy on any room she desires without been seen.   However those within the building will feel uneasy, and sense they're being watched. Noble Phantasm : Hyperspace Object : C-A+++ (Anti Unit, Anti World) As an archer, the truly insane abilities innate to her boundary manipulation are sealed.  However she can still summon meteors traveling at near lightspeed to slam into her enemies.  The resulting impact explosion can damage anything from the size of a house to that of a continent, causing a mass extinction class event.  In addition the ability is relatively cheap, meaning she can use it repeatedly without draining her master. World Shattering Blood Rain : E/A (Enhancement) Yukari's grand plan, the rain that severed the old order and changed reality to favor youkai.  Despite it occurring after her death, it's seared into the reality of the world.  Blood rains down upon the land over the area of a small county, granting youkai and other monsters a two rank bonus to all abilities, and granting any humans a one rank boost and the chance to become a youkai.  Meanwhile divine beings suffer a one rank penalty.  It also sends everyone in the area into a wild rush, making them impulsive and power hungry.  However the mental effect is weak and easily resisted.  The biggest weakness of this ability is Yukari has to prepare it for at least a week and it affects everyone.  Though it can trigger after her death. The youkai sage of Gensoukyo, Yukari Yakumo is a name burned into history.  Perhaps the most famous youkai of all time, she's still enigmatic, even to other youkai.  Yuyuko and Ran are perhaps the only people who understood her.  Still she's undoubtedly a powerhouse and easily made it into the Grail system.

Summoning Yukari is similar to summoning incredibly powerful heroes like Gilgamesh.  She's unruly, haughty, and lazy.  In addition she thinks differently than almost anyone and she'll happily wander about doing as she pleases with her teleportation powers.  The only benefit is she's possibly one of the strongest servants in existence, with the ability to fling stolen relics or spells at whim at her foes.

Chen Yakumo, Black Cat of Ill Omen Primary Class : Rider Strength : C Endurance : C Agility : A+ Magic : A Luck : A

Skills: Shapeshifting : C Chen can freely shapeshift between human, cat, and nekomata forms.   Magecraft : C++ Chen knows eastern magecraft and can use it to a fair degree.  As a Rider she has lost some skill, but maintains her summoning and gap mimicking abilities. Animal Dialogue : A Chen can communicate to animals freely.  However this doesn't make the animals smarter, or even make them like her.  And as a cat negotiations are difficult. Ride : B- Chen can possess or mind control almost any living mount, barring a few Divine Beasts and Dragons.  She can also control non mounts like humans, weaker youkai, or dogs.  She can't control complex machines though. Noble Phantasm : Red Oni, Blue Oni : B (Anti Person) Chen calls up two lesser oni to serve as her weapons.  Possessing their bodies, she unleashes them as puppets to her will, using their massive supernatural strength to crush her enemies.  While these are low class oni, they're still some of the most powerful youkai in existence. The Black Cat of Ill Omen is known mostly as Ran's shikigami.  Even now after the fox's death and her own ascendancy she's in the shadows of the other Yakumo.  Still she's a powerful figure in her own right, and her mastery of youkai control spells makes her feared among the people.

Chen seems young and brash, but she's actually quite intelligent, and uses her spells and possession powers to good effect.  She'll rush around getting the proper setup, but then she'll wait calmly to pounce, like a proper cat.  And like a cat she doesn't think much of "Masters."  She'll work with people who treat her nice, but she'll never be servile.

Ran Yakumo, Fox Shikigami Primary Class : Caster (Berserker) Strength : B Endurance : B Agility : B Magic : A+ Luck : C Skills : Territory Creation : A+ Can create a "Hidden Village" superior to a Workshop.  It especially enhances her scrying abilities. Item Creation : C She has the ability to create mystic relics and codes, but she rarely does so. Shapeshifting : A She can transform into almost any shape, though she prefers her humanoid kitsune form. Magecraft : B++ Ran knows a number of spells, but she specializes in surveillance and boundary manipulation.  She's one of the two magicians in existence capable of duplicating Yukari's signature ability. Inescapable Calculations : A Ran is a master mathematician, and she's put her calculations in use in combat.  This skill grants her a bonus to dodging, close combat and grappling moves. Noble Phantasm : Shikigami's Link - Nil Ran's story and nature are tied far closer to her stint as a shikigami than any other hero.  When summoned she appears in that form, preventing her from gaining a true Noble Phantasm, but making her a true shikigami to her master. This means she has a familiar link to her Master, and can access any of her Master's powers and spells.  In addition she gains a bonus to all stats when she's acting as her Master desires, even without the use of command spells.  However when acting against her master she suffers a penalty in all stats. Ran Yakumo is a subject of intense historical debate.  As a shikigami and kitsune, Ran is a huge series of magical contradictions.  As the sage, ruler, and protector of Gensoukyo for a period of time Ran similarly has a number of faces she used to maintain power.  The only thing everyone agrees on is she's a coldly calculating genius, but not deliberately evil.

She might be the most Servant like Servant.  Her shikigami ability gives her master great control and ability to use her casting ability.  In addition she's a close combat caster, using her strength and calculations to grapple and kill her enemies.  She's not an unquestioning servant, but it will take a lot of effort to get her to disagree with her master.

Tei Inaba, The White Rabbit of Inaba Primary Class : Rider Strength : D Endurance : EX Agility : A Magic : D Luck : A++

Skills : Luck of the White Rabbit : A Tewi can grant good luck to anyone including herself, raising their luck stat by two ranks.  She cannot decrease luck though. Con Artist : C The ability to rapidly spin up a lie.  Tewi's skill at this is superhuman, making it possible to flummox even geniuses.  However those on guard often resist. Battle Continuation : A She once had her skin torn off, coated with salt, then reapplied.  Tewi can ignore any non fatal wounds despite the pain. Ride : D She's not actually a very good Rider, qualifying only because of her legend. This level allows her to operate most vehicles and mounts. Divinity : C She hides her full divinity but as an earthly deity and goddess of the rabbits, she has a fairly decent rank. Noble Phantasm : Crossing the Sea of Sharks : B (Anti Person) She once tricked an entire family of sharks into lining up so she could leap across the sea.  In retaliation they tore off her skin.  With this ability Tewi can turn the shark family's vengeance on her enemy, allowing them to tear at her foe.  Her target must simply endure the rending teeth of the phantom sharks. The White Rabbit of Inaba would normally be a powerful servant, but she doesn't fit well into the grail system.  Her "rider" class comes purely from her shark jumping habits.  There's no real good reason to summon the con artist to a battle royal, though she'd have some dangerous tricks up her sleeve for sure.

Tewi is irreverent, lazy, and very very hard to kill.  She's also very experienced, and unlike other gods, learns from her past.   Masters would be good to not underestimate her, even if she is a poor choice for a war.

Mononobe no Futo, Archaic Fool Primary Class : Rider (Caster) Strength : B Endurance : C Agility : C Magic : B Luck : B

Skills : Voyage : B- Futo can sail most small craft, even through the sky.  She lacks the leadership skills to sail larger boats however. Magecraft : C She knows a number of taoist spells and feng shui techniques, and has developed strong mystic codes.  However she lacks the passion and skill to master the craft. Mental Pollution : C Unlike other servants, Futo does not fully acclimatize to current time period.  This leads to a mental pollution caused by her age.  There's a small chance of negating mental interference magecraft, and a large chance she will misunderstand the orders from mental interference magic.  Only those with similar Mental Pollution or who were born and raised in the same time period can come to a true understanding with her. Noble Phantasm : Temple Burner : C (Anti Fortress) Futo channels her fear and hatred into a torrent of fire.  The ultimate form of arson.  As someone who has betrayed her family, her friends, and the gods, her paranoia knows no bounds.  And such she does everything she can to burn away that which frightens her.  A flame that consumes even stone.  However the damage it does to people and servants is purely incidental. The flames are more effective against areas that are under territory creation, or that have been sanctified in some way. While Futo has been a ghost for some time, she can be summoned in her living form.  Her skill as a Caster is fairly low in the current era, so anyone considering that would probably bring her forth as a Rider.  In fact as a Rider she is an excellent Caster killer.  Something more useful in this era.

However Futo is, as she was in life, lost in time.  She will have a hard time working with youkai, is irrationally afraid of almost everything, and handles that fear with bluster and aggression.   Fortunately she's quick to listen to her master, even if she complains a lot.

Kanako Yasaka, Conquering Goddess Primary Class : Rider (Saber, Caster, Archer) Strength : B Endurance : B Agility : A Magic : A Luck : B Skills: Goddess Divine Core : A A Skill that expresses one being a perfected goddess from birth. A composite Skill that comprises the Skill Divinity, preserves the absoluteness of the mind and the body, repels all mental interference, prevents the body from growth and prevents the figure from change no matter how much calories are absorbed. Ride : EX Kanako can ride anything, including divine beasts and even dragons.  Such is her right as a goddess.  She can also ride onbashira logs, which are not normally mobile. Charisma : A Slightly low for a goddess, her Charisma is still enough to lead armies and nations wherever she wishes. Military Tactics : A- A genius at tactics, she's actually less adept at grand strategy.   However she understands her weakness and can appoint subordinates to cover her weaknesses. Magic Resistance : B No matter what kind of High-Thaumaturgy, magecraft of B Rank or below are negated.  Her magic resistance has not been lowered so much as modern magecraft has improved.  When compared to older servants her resistance would have been considered A+ rank. Innovation : Technomagic Revolution : A As the goddess who revolutionized technology in a fantasy world, and magic in a technical world, Kanako is known best for this skill.  It allows her to suppress her divinity in situations where it would be detrimental.   Noble Phantasm Renewal of the Pillars : C/A  (Anti Unit / Enhancement) A representation of the renewal of the Suwa shrines, Kanako summons sixteen onbashira that fly across the land.  The holy pillars deal great damage to anyone they hit, and dispel magics on the area.  At the end of their flight, the pillars slam into the ground, healing and strengthening Kanako. Another spirit that's at the limits of the grail system.  Kanako Yasaka has the good graces to appear only as a reasonable servant instead of using her full godly might.  Of course Kanako has claimed several godly titles since the New Era.  This is her in her Eastern form.  The conqueror of Suwa, and ruling god of the new Japan.

As a Rider, Kanako loves tactics, and happily plans out every encounter just for fun.  However she'll still happily meet her enemies on the field of battle.  She stalls with her blade and tessen, until she gets the ability to use her onbashira to strike a killing blow.   Masters had best match her in both cunning and bravery if they don't want to be swept up in her wake, or left behind.

Komachi Onozuka, Ferryman of the Gods Primary Class : Rider Strength : C Endurance : C Agility : C Magic : A Luck : B Skills: Voyager : A- Komachi can sail any small craft on any surface, including air or stone.  She prefers two person rowboats, and can move them without rowing using her natural ferryman powers. Godslayer : B The power to destroy beings created purely by conceptual energy, or those anchored by faith. This ability transcends weapon or skill, allowing even normal attacks to kill such beings.  At rank B Komachi can permanently kill any lesser god, or temporarily kill any greater god. Golden Rule : A The wealth of every human who died makes it’s way to the ferrymen.  Komachi is so rich she can just throw money away as an attack. Spirit Control : B As a shinigami, Komachi can banish lesser spirits with no issue.  Only strong self controlled sentient undead can avoid her power. Space Manipulation : C Komachi can manipulate distance to some degree, giving her the ability to make tight dodges and to home attacks on foes to a limited degree.  At this level she can twist space up to a meter within sight range. Noble Phantasm : The Breadth of the Sanzu : A (Anti-Person) Calling upon the twisting currents of the river of death, Komachi can create an area of space that utterly negates movement in and out.  Those trying to move within the zone advance at a crawl.  This allows Komachi to trap her foes in place as she attacks them or flees.  Komachi herself is unaffected. Strangely the effect doesn’t alter how fast they move personally, just how far they go as they move.  Thus someone affected by her ability can block or even dodge to some degree.  They just can’t move out of the way.

Ever since Eiki Shiki and Komachi Onozuka became legends, people wondered why Eiki Shiki kept the lazy shinigami around so long.  With the information from the grail, we finally have an answer.  Eiki kept Komachi as her Godslayer.  A weapon to use against divine beings that usurped the order.  Why she chose someone as lazy as Komachi for that post is still unknown.  Godslayer candidates are admittedly hard to find though. Komachi is a carefree servant, likely treating the Grail War as something of a joke. However when fighting she’ll use her scythe, boat, and coins to her advantage.  She’s also likely to be quite caring towards her Master and children.  Assuming her Master is worthy of such respect.

Rin Kaenbyou, Hell’s Traffic Accident Primary Class : Rider (Caster) Strength : C Endurance : C++ Agility : A Magic : B Luck : A Skills: Ride : B This skill comes mostly from her class.  Rin’s actual riding ability was probably limited to her jumping on mounts in cat form and just following them along.  It grants her above average riding ability with all natural mounts.  In addition she can “ride” her cat cart, the transportation that gave her access to the class. Magecraft : D++ She has only a minor skill in Magecraft, but she is excellent with necromancy, fairy control, and hellfire attacks.  She also knows both divine and black magic.  This is in addition to her necromantic powers as a kassha. Shapeshifting : C She can transform freely between kassha and cat form. Disengage : B The ability to retreat and reset a battle.  Bonus effect of returning battle conditions to what they were at the beginning of the match (1st turn) and restores the condition of this Skill to the initial value. Hell Battery : A Rin has the aura of old hell infused into her existence.  This makes the area around her “more hell like.”  This makes necromancy easier, but more importantly enhances hell and fire fairies in her aura.  Fairies near her can respawn almost instantly. Noble Phantasm : Thriller Night : EX (Anti Army) Orin developed this ability by stealing a famous power of an older heroic spirit that has sadly faded into history.  When activated this ability floods the area with even more necromantic and hell power, raising corpses as the living dead and sending fairies into a frenzy.  In the end the area will swarm with regenerating fairy cosplayers and zombies, creating a hellish mess of battle.  While each enemy is individually weak, none of them can be killed permanently barring unique powers. Researchers were curious which class Rin would be placed into, due to her odd abilities.  However her corpse stealing wheelbarrow seemed to give the grail enough excuse to make her a rider.  Given riders also have command skills, this lets Rin use her full power as a leader of zombie fairies.

A cheerful servant, one must always remember no matter how friendly, Rin is a cat.  And as a cat she’s likely to do her own thing without asking her master.  Still she offers great power with few moral hangups.
