manon williams development
ORIGINS & FAMILY:
Name: marie suzanne williams (nee belanger)
Nickname: manon
Birthday: april 4
Age: thirty
Gender: female
Place of birth: saint-malo, france
Places lived since: [passing car]
Parents’ names, backgrounds, occupations: blaise (63) and anna (60). blaise and anna have been a couple since the dawn of time and do everything together from running the family tour boat business to visiting the same bar every single saturday night where they sit at the same barstools every single time (next to each other, of course).
Number of siblings: two - an older brother, julien (38), and an older sister - lili (35)
Relationship with family: they're close but there's a bit of transatlantic distance that's a problem. she tries to talk to her parents at least once a week and talks to lili more frequently than julien but she’s okay with that.
Children of her own?: a son, sebastian. he's five and her absolute favorite person in the world (sry elijah).
PHYSICAL
Height: 5'7
Build: average and she swears she's hippier than she used to be ever since having sebastian.
Disabilities: n/a
Complexion: tanned all the time - manon is the worst about sunscreen.
Face shape: roundish
Distinguishing facial features: manon has a pretty animated face - she's expressive but she can also go cold real fast and has a stare that can kill a man when she's pissed.
Hair color: blonde
Usual hair style: long and wavy/messy.
Eye color: blue
Glasses? Contacts?: both
Style of dress/typical outfit(s): pretty casual mom gear but she likes to knock elijah on his ass when they manage to go out.
Typical style of shoes: anything she can chase after sebastian in.
Grooming: clean and showered always but she's not much for makeup or primping but again: she likes to knock elijah on his ass now and then.
Jewelry? Tattoos? Piercings?: her wedding ring every day but not much otherwise. she has pierced ears and briefly had a pierced nose in her early twenties but that's long gone.
Accent?: french af
Athletic?: she goes for a run whenever sebastian is at school or a playdate.
INTELLECT
Level of education: secondary school but she skipped university - no one in her family ever went and she always had the boat business to work in. so she went until she was eighteen and started working and she's just fine with it.
Level of self esteem: pretty good but she can be sensitive about weird things
Gifts/talents: manon is a hell of a mom and she's proud of that. she works to make people feel wanted and welcome - warm. she's a warm person and tries to be generous. she's also got a million and one stories from traveling and working the boats and loves to tell them.
Shortcomings: manon is stubborn as an old goddamn mule.
Style of speech: english is absolutely her second language and while her accent isn't as thick as it used to be, she absolutely still has one and it's apparent. she can be a little tricky to understand at first but once you get the hang of it, it's not too hard to figure out what she's saying. and then there are the times she pretends to not understand english to avoid unwanted conversations.
Artistic?: she tries to be crafty with sebastian but it's hit or miss.
Mathematical?: not especially
Makes decisions based mostly on emotions, or on logic?: emotions
Neuroses: she's a little anxious about getting pregnant again and it's leading to her being a little more sensitive than usual about stuff and things.
Life philosophy: like just be good and do good okay?
Religious stance: catholic and a little superstitious about it - sebastian was baptized and even if she doesn't go every sunday, she'll still haul the whole gang in if there's something that needs praying over.
Cautious or daring?: daring.
Most sensitive about/vulnerable to: ohhhh it's a list. parenting and motherhood in general (she once mentioned that she had a glass of wine while pregnant and nearly got kicked out of mommy and me class), sebastian, elijah, the status of her tomatoes - manon is sensitive about a lot of random shit and gets emotional easily.
Optimist or pessimist?: optimist
Extrovert or introvert?: extrovert
Level of comfort with technology: comfortable enough
RELATIONSHIPS
Current marital/relationship status: hella married
Sexual orientation: heterosexual
Past relationships: a few when she was in school and while bopping around but she's been with elijah for a good long time.
Primary reason for being broken up with: not taking it seriously enough.
Primary reasons for breaking up with people: taking it too seriously.
A social person?: very.
Most comfortable around: elijah
Oldest friend: her sister lili
How does she think others perceive her?: manon doesn't particularly care as long as people like her and treat her nicely.
How do others actually perceive her?: generally pretty nice if a little air headed
VOCATION
Profession: stay at home mom
Past occupations: secretary for the family tour boat business
Attitude towards current job: it's the dream
Attitude towards current coworkers, bosses, employees: he's okay but she could do without the sass.
Salary: nah.
SECRETS
Phobias: the day sebastian wakes up and doesn't want to hang out with her anymore.
Life goals: as long as she lives a good life with elijah and raises sebastian right, she'll be happy.
Dreams: she'd really love to have more children.
Greatest fears: something happening to elijah or sebastian
Most ashamed of: sometimes the other moms make her feel like she should be more educated or brighter and she knows that it doesn't matter and /yet/.
Hobbies: mom stuff and gardening. she's also real good at swimming and sailing but those aren't really daily activities.
Secret skills: manon insists upon having a boating license wherever she lives, even if she doesn't have access to a boat. never know when you'll need it.
Past sexual transgressions: nah.
Crimes committed: nah
What she most wants to change about her current life: she'd really like to pregnant but that does not seem to be in the current cards.
What she most wants to change about her physical appearance: nah.

Favorite food: breakfast. manon loves american breakfast so damn much.
Favorite book: le petit prince - sebastian isn't quite old enough for it yet and she can't wait until he is.
Favorite movie: manon thinks stepbrothers is the single greatest film of our time. she likes comedies - anything too serious makes her antsy.

Coffee or tea?: coffee
Type of car she drives: a small suv - very momly.
Lefty or righty?: lefty
Favorite color: blue

ELISA FRANÇOIS —
IG info/bio: @/elisacoisbabe | 34.2k followers | why yes I’m shaking my ass while having a mental breakdown, mind ur business yeah?? 👸🏿
22 (23) years
Born in Louisiana, New Orleans
Has two sisters: Camille & Manon
Raised by her aunt & uncle in London, England
Does not address her birth parents as her real parents, her aunt & uncle hold that title & deff has a lot of anger towards her birth parents—to her they’re as good as d*ad
Haitian roots
Keeps her family life as private as she can, however her fans occasionally see her sisters on her channel
Social media influencer who got her start from posting makeup looks on her YouTube channel & her story times
Canon: calls her fans “Elisa-bee’s” we don’t know why either
Loves 80’s style blush
Loves 80s music & aesthetic and she liked it before u teenagers hopped on the bandwagon, sorry not sorry ;-)
Doesn’t feel Lottie is competition at all when it comes to posting content even if fans feel that way, they have completely different techniques
Vacations in Paris & Louisiana often
Her older sister, Manon resides in Louisiana and when they link up??? Issa vibe
Camille is the youngest & kinda a party pooper, she’s more on the serious side
Loves snacking on macaroons... salted caramel praline & lavender white chocolate are her favorites (I feel like I said this about someone else too...)
She’s scared of owls/any type of birds partly from a childhood trauma where she was attacked by a bunch of seagulls on a pier & as punishment when she was up to no good, her parents would force her to watch “the birds” (1963) strapped to a chair
Went thru a “ugly phase” growing up & was often called “lady-b*y”
Has been in multiple relationships/entanglements/situations/experiences but there are many that she doesn’t count & or acknowledge “I hope no one considers me an ex especially if they couldn’t make me c*m”
Has had threes*mes before
Sex posi!
Supports trans lives!
In the last few years she was recently diagnosed with borderline personality disorder
When she finished secondary, she didn’t think uni was for her. Found school rather boring although she did quite well at it. She was exhausted with everything that came with it & decided to go into stripping for a couple of months (almost a year) before she decided to work on her YouTube channel
Currently in a polyamorous relationship
A few of her experiences with her significant others got jealous of her job, the attention she got from it & the time she put into her job as a influencer— it was annoying
Gemini sun + Sagittarius moon + Capricorn rising? Idk man but she’s got Leo & Scorpio in her chart too I’m sure of it
Has no problem bringing her issues with someone to the table
Kinda likes confrontation but only if SHE’s the one to start it, not if SOMEONE ELSE does it FOR her, due to her spreading the info around in the first place...
Will try her best to read someone but sometimes her comebacks lack...
Still doesn’t like Chelsea, Jo, OR Shannon & it’s been a year but she don’t gaf
Found herself a friend in Blake
They’re opposites, she’s more laid back & slightly reserved whereas when Elisa enters the place you KNOW it because she makes it known—she loves to be seen
After Marisol & Graham called it quits, Elisa swept in & they explored what they could be? Intimately. Yet Elisa doesn’t seem like she’s ready to settle down right now & she doesn’t HAVE to while Marisol seems like she likes to have fun too BUT is also always thinking two steps ahead—she’s calculated, so a small part of her thought of the what if’s? But knew there was a chance there shouldn’t be any strings attached
That shifted their friendship forsure!!! Priya told them it was a bad idea from the start but Elisa had some snippy words for her ofc “mind ur business luv, or I’ll do it for ya x”
She thought about ghosting marisol for a little bit to see if she’d chase after her, she loves to be chased but decided not to. She was upfront about their rendezvous after awhile, she agreed if they ever got lonely again to hit each other up...but marisol doesn’t feel like what they had was based on loneliness...
Probably still has a crush on Bobby & was kinda mad he asked someone else to marry him but she still showed up to the reunion/wedding like the baddest bitch she knows she is, ‘got to make him regret not choosing me, ya know?’
Will chat with him every now & then but Bobby being the friendly guy he is doesn’t pay much attention to her seduction or rather he ignores it but if it gets too much he’ll gently tell her about herself
Hey, Elisa knows shade when she sees it & can be a shady bitch when she wants to be too
Only drinks the real ginger ale not the fake one the rest of u lot drink
Has no issue showing her figure, she loves her body, she loves herself, & that took along time to appreciate so she doesn’t care if people view that as arrogant, most don’t know her story & if they still shitted on her for it then they can all fuck right off
She has a soft side too...somewhere in there but it’s very rare to see! Only ONE of her exes had the chance of seeing it
She has a image to protect & show the world but there’s going to be a time where she gets tired of constantly putting on a show
Is a sucker for animation films & whenever there’s a sad moment in the film she deff triggered!
Has two dogs: Dachshund & a chihuahua
Makes the best Pikliz
loves a good lace front, will drop bands on one whenever she feels like she needs something new & that’s quite often
Owns a bedazzler kit
Has a stun gun
Can make her own jewelry + working on starting a line for it
Body scrubs are to die for in her opinion, her skin HAS to be soft & she’s always moisturized. That’s right stay away from her if ur ashy cause she’ll bring shame to you
She’s slightly a mean girl/bitchy I feel like we all know this lmao
Live tweeted about season 3 & dragged it like we all did with no remorse
I feel like she’s a wild sleeper? Lol
Enjoys not only 80s style music but Lofi beats, cocaine80s, PARTYNEXTDOOR, IAMDDB, Ravyn Lenae, VanJess, Ibeyi, Tayla Parx, CITY GIRLS, & Kash doll, saweetie, etc
Celeb crushes: Zoe Kravitz & Lenny Kravitz, Issa Rae, Winston Duke, Theo James, Robert Pattinson, Alexa Demie, Kelvin Harris Jr., Kedar Williams-Stirling...
Anthem: Dreezy ft. Kash Doll — Chanel Slides

hiiiii!! can you by any chance rank the noora remakes and/or the nooreva friendships (or ships. your choice) :)
1. Liv (If beauty was a person. No straight woman survives. Invented glares. Hot temper. She will storm out of your room and just as stubbornly she’ll come back and invite herself to sleep over and you won’t have any say in it. Just when you’ll think you can’t possibly love her more than you already do she will sing. Will wear a wedding dress for no reason. Ends fights by deciding what painting you are. Weapons of choice: red lipstick, curls and voice. Chemistry with her Eva: over the moon.)
2. Zoe (The mom of the group. Soft but deadly when needed. Will adopt her flatmate and still take care of him even after breaking up with the father of the child. Only Noora to live in our world and to still keep us company during this pandemic. Weapons of choice: red lipstick and super blonde hair. Chemistry with her Eva: good.)
3. Eleonora (Queen of sassy banter and flowers. Can’t sing, but she will mock you by wearing your leather jacket and imitate you. Will also fall asleep in the same leather jacket and still pretend to hate you. Doesn’t like violence but she will need to be held by three people when someone touches her Eva. Weapons of choice: red lipstick, “by the way you truly have shitty hair”, giant green eyes. Chemistry with her Eva: legit forgot to talk the first time they met because she was too busy staring at her face with love eyes.)
4. Mia (Unreal. Looks like an angel. Will play piano and make you pay for it. Only Noora to break up with her William. Weapons of choice: red lipstick and middle finger. Chemistry with her Eva: solid.)
5. Nora (Too pretty to be also that good at singing and yet. She will get herself out of an abusive relationship. She doesn’t give a fuck about Julie Andem plans and does what she wants. Weapons of choice: red lipstick and free will. Chemistry with her Eva: beautiful.)
5. Grace (Will do weird dance moves to cheer her friends. Best destroying the brother scene out of all of them: “what’s wrong? I thought you were chill.” Will make you cry too many times during the last half of her season. Weapons of choice: Move. Chemistry with her Eva: very good.)
7. Manon (Intense kissing scenes, boring season. Not her fault because C*arles. Will give her best in season 3. Will make you cry too when she cries on the couch with Lucas. Weapons of choice: red lipstick, good acting. Chemistry with her Eva: good.)

So I saw that you ship Charles and Manon, so can I ask what your opinion on Charles is, cause I know that quite a lot of people dislike him
Honestly it’s been a while since I saw Skam France and dont remember all the details of the SL. I don’t HATE him in the way other people do but he probably is one of my least favorite Williams. Nothing against him necessarily but I dont connect to Skam France as much as I do the other series and I also felt C/M were more like a copy of Noorhelm compared to some other pairings. I also think Charles looks a lot older than he should be (though Michel is very attractive)... I also wasn’t fond of how they handled their storyline after their season at all. I do love all of the noorhelm pairings though, personally hate to love relationships are my favorites to watch so I just enjoy all the SL’s even if I dont always agree with the william’s choices and behaviors.
I love Michel and Marilyn though, those two are cuties.

i feel like lately our eyes have been opened to so many parallel universe possibilities like
an entirety new character can be s2 & wlw main - cris (skamesp)
isak can be parallel even & vice versa - possibly canon isak with mental illness (druck)
more rep is possible and always welcome like poc!noora season with liv (skamnl) and ger!even aka david played by poc trans actor (druck)
lesbian!eskild (skam austin)
william can be likeable - alexander (druck)
the struggles and importance of being kind to your mentally ill!mother - mamma rametta (skamit)
the straight roommate can also be your main emotional support - manon (skamfr)
lucas coming out in a vlog (skamesp)
your friends reactions to your coming out can be negative at first (skamfr) doesn't make it more or less realistic than other remakes' versions tho
real time experience can be taken to the next level: it can be filmed & aired live from pride (skamesp)
why not make a friends to lovers!evak version rip my expectations for eliott as a true member of the boy squad (skamfr)

Why do people not like Charles? I’m confused
I mean…for the same reasons that people didn’t like William, initially. The whole pursuing Manon/Noora and not taking no for an answer. Charles did literally say something like “a ‘no’ is just a ‘yes’ in waiting”?? But personally Charles truly lost me when he tried to get Manon not to testify against his brother, because “prison would ruin his life”, and telling Manon “he didn’t even rape you”…that’s just such a low blow. - C.

Let me just go over this again, because i have been thinking about the stupidity of this message all night / day. season 4 is about imane right ? But i am guessing michel biel will come back otherwise his photo wouldn’t be on france television’s-, promotional pictures or whatever. In og Noora and William’s relationship needed to be resolved during the last season which everyone complained about because they weren’t sana. but here they just made it even more complicated for imane’s season. So what’s the plan? I have trouble imagining they will dedicate much time to marles’ relationship given how badly it was received in og (and in the two seconds charles had been brought up before yesterday’s clip. H y p o c r i s y) but charles will come back and the situation will have to be dealt with. Will they talk like they did in og? The issue really wasn’t the same. If they don’t plan on changing that, there was no point in making the matter even worse. And if they wanted to simply be rid of charles they could have had the break up happen sooner. There’s no point (imo) in dragging it until season 4 to have the conclusion be « well he came back but that didn’t work out so now manon will just be - what? Sad? Coming to terms with it as everyone is happy by the end of the show? I doubt it. — i may be sensitive about this message i received, but I don’t get how everything i said could have been twisted. i am not criticizing the situation because i want skam to give me everything I want. I purely do not understand how it came to this with charles (manipulation, probably), i do not understand the point of changing this if it doesn’t have consequences on what happens later AND i do not understand why they would want to create a bigger mess and have it be more complicated when, indeed, manon’s season is already over. And I was pretty chill stating my opinion yesterday, i am still pretty chill, even though i have to admit that receiving rude asks will never be something i can simply overlook.

Clichés
Hi!
This little fic has been on my mind for a long time and I needed to write it to get it out of my mind.
It’s something a bit special and silly. It was fun to write. I know it’s not realistic, don’t worry, I am aware. It was just for fun.
I also know that Mia/Alexander, Eleanora/Edoardo and Grace/Daniel are not together (yet); as I said I wrote it for fun.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
Prompt: Noora meets Manon, Mia, Eleanora and Grace. Their boyfriends are not far away.
Oslo
“What clothes should I bring?”
“Well, let me see” Noora goes to the closet and looks at William’s clothes. She takes the only suit he owns and hands it to him.
“Obviously, that suit. With a white shirt. For the gala night,” she says with a smirk.
“For the rest, just bring whatever. You’ll look hot no matter what”
She winks.
“Okay,” he says, trying to hide his amusement.
She comes closer to him and puts her arms around his waist.
“Are you sure you want to come with me?” she whispers. He nods in agreement.
“Of course, I’m sure. You won’t go to London without me.” he tries to reassure her.
“Okay, it’s just… It’s a business trip, you know. I don’t want you to be by yourself for too long in… London. Does your dad know we’re going?”
William shakes his head and kisses her.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. No, I won’t tell him. That weekend is about you”
“okay. ”
Roma
“Edo, no. That won’t do” Eleanora sighs.
“Why?”
As always, Edoardo is confused.
“You can’t bring two whole suitcases for a four days trip.”
“And why is that?”
“Edoardo. Come on.”
“I need clothes, Ele.” he tells her solemnly.
“You don’t need that many clothes. We’ll be there for four days and I know you enough. Most of our spare time we’ll be spent shopping.”
She’s right, so he gives up.
“Ok. Whatever”
He smiles at her and she smiles back.
Eleanora gets closer and runs her fingers through his hair. She kisses his jaw gently.
“You love my hair” Edoardo whispers.
Eleanora laughs.
Berlin
“Alex! I’m home” Mia shouts when she closes the door. She takes her coat off and goes to the living room. No Alex.
Alex comes out of the bathroom, smiling “Hi, Angel.”
Mia turns over, rolls her eyes but smiles. “Is everything ready?”
He nods. “Mostly. I finished early so I stopped somewhere to buy food, by the way”
“Alex, we could have cooked!”
“We could have. But I didn’t want to” Alex replies matter-of-factly.
“Alexander…” Mia says with her soft voice when he puts his arm around her waist.
“I bought you sushi. Your favorite”
Mia takes Alexander’s face in her hands and kisses him.
“Did you call Sam? When are we leaving tomorrow?”
“He’ll be there at 6AM to drive us to the airport,” he says with a smile.
“Cool. I’m excited. It is such a great opportunity for me.”
Alexander runs his fingers through Mia’s hair and looks at her for a few seconds.
“I’m proud of you” he whispers. Mia slightly blushes at his words, but there’s a shy smile on her lips.
Paris
“Charles, come on. I would love if you could go with me to London, but I don’t need you. The team needs you more than I do.” Manon tells him, again. They’ve been arguing about this for a few days now.
“Alex will be there for them, it’s okay. I want to be with you. I want to go with you and I will.”
Manon sighs.
“They will be so disappointed, Charles. It’s the first time they’re going away for a game. They need their coach with them.”
“Do you not want me there or what? If so, you can just tell me, you know” he says as he takes a step from her. “Alex asked Imane to go with him. She’s good with kids and basketball. They don’t need me. You do.”
Manon chuckles.  “I do not need you. I’m not a child. They are.” She gives him a sarcastic smile.
Charles looks away and takes a step closer to her.
“Manon… ” he whispers.
“I just… You worked hard with the kids and you should go with them and see the game. I know you hate London because of your dad, so…”
Charles kisses her.
“I will go with them for the next game, for sure. They’ll be more than fine with Imane and Alex. And… You know that even if we crossed paths with my dad, he wouldn’t even recognize me so it will be fine.”
Manon touches his arm gently.
Charles looks at the dress chosen by Manon for the gala and smiles. “I will see you in that dress, so it’s definitely worth it.”
He smirks, she rolls her eyes.
Manon pauses for a few seconds.
“Are you sure it’s a good idea to let Alex and Imane go together, though?”
“Not sure they’ll come back both alive but Imane said yes. She’s very good at basketball, so.”
Austin
Grace opens her eyes slowly, still not fully awake; she notices the sun shining through the blinds.
She hears Daniel breathing next to her. It takes her a few seconds and then… oh. They overslept. Both of them.
“Dan! Wake up” she shouts, trying to find her phone to know what time it exactly is.
5:45. They’re over half an hour late.
“Daniel!” she shouts again. She gets out of the bed quickly and takes her clothes on the chair.
“Dan! Come on, we’re late. We overslept.”
“What?” he mutters, without even opening his eyes.
“We’re late. Come on! Get out of the bed!”
She runs to the bathroom.
“Relax Gracie” Dan tells her just before she shuts the door.
“Don’t call me Gracie!”
Ok, Grace. It’s 4:55, not 5:45. Relax.” Dan points out.
Grace comes back to the room, confused. Daniel is looking at her, smirking.
“That’s not…,” she says and only then she looks back at the clock and… fuck, Daniel is right.
Daniel has an irritating tendency to always be right and Grace hates it. She hates him.
Except she doesn’t, not at all. She has never been able to hate him.
She lets out a breath and then her eyes meet Daniel’s and she starts laughing with him.
“Come back to bed, Grace.”  He tells her softly.
She climbs on the bed and settles into his embrace.
“We shouldn’t lie here for long. I don’t want to be late. We have a plane to catch.” she whispers.
“We will catch it, babe. Just relax for a bit here, okay. You need to destress a bit because if you don’t you’re gonna have a heart attack before we land in London”
Daniel kisses her cheek.
“Yeah, I know. It’s just very important to me, you know,” she admits, without looking at him.
“I know”
London
“Welcome ladies! Thank you for your presence with us. We’re glad and proud to work with all of you. As you may know, we want you to write articles together, by groups, that could be part of our international website for ‘international week’. We put you into work groups of five people. Each group will have a few hours to outline an article that you will write in your own language back home. Tomorrow, at the Gala, you’ll get to interview different people from different part of the world, too. You can check the whole program of those three days on the little brochure you received. I hope you enjoy your stay here, I’ll see you soon.”
Noora is not sure who exactly is talking because there are a lot of people she does not recognize. It’s probably the man who sent her the invitation to participate in this ‘international workshop’.
According to the sheet someone gave her when she arrived, she’s part of the group ‘C’.
She checks her phone and sees William’s reply to her previous text. She smiles.
She finds the designated room for group C relatively quickly, but there is no one else yet. As she doesn’t want to go back to the buffet, she takes a seat and waits.
A few moments later, a woman comes through the door. She seems a bit younger than her. Noora notices the red lipstick that makes her face appear more serious.
“Hm, Hi. Is it group C?” the woman asks, with a soft voice. Noora nods and smiles at her.
The woman sits down.
“I’m Noora.”
“Manon. I’m from France”
“Norway, Oslo.”
“Great.”
Manon’s phone beeps and she smiles when she looks at the screen.
Two women, a blonde and a brunette, arrive and smile at them.
They sit down next to them.
“We’re here for group C. right?” one of them asks. Noora smiles at her.
“Yeah,” Manon tells them.
“Great, thanks. I’m Mia.” the blonde one says.
“Eleanora” the other one adds.
“Manon.”
“Noora.”
“I’m Grace,” another voice says. All the girls turn their heads towards the door and see the last addition to their group.
“Hi!” Noora says with a smile.
The girls let Grace sit down.
Then they start talking about the article they have to write.
Noora learns that Mia is from Berlin, Eleanora from Roma. All of them are a bit younger than her, but they all went to university to study journalism. Mia and Noora both work for a newspaper, Eleanora and Grace have a blog, and Manon works as a reporter because she’s also a photographer.
The theme they were given is ‘love’ (of course) and they all have very interesting ideas. After an hour or so of brainstorming ideas, they go to Starbucks for a well-deserved break.
“Is it your first time in London?” Eleanora asks.
Grace nods. “Yes, the first time I’m in Europe, as well”
Mia sips a bit of her tea before saying “I came here with my boyfriend last year.”
“Yeah, I visited the city once with my friends,” Manon says.
“What about you Noora?” one of them asks. Noora doesn’t know who. She hesitates a bit.
“I’ve lived here with my boyfriend for a few months,” she says.
They’re not close enough to ask questions, so they drop the topic quickly.
When they get back to the room, someone is waiting for them.
“So. Hi” the blonde woman says. “I’m Bea. I just want to check with you if everything is okay. The theme you were attributed is a large one and I don’t want you to go to the easiest road, you know. Don’t write about clichés. Young girls do not need to hear that they will have an epic love story with the hottest guy in their school. That does not happen in real life. Don’t tell them they’ll fall in love with the captain of the football team and marry him, ah”
Bea laughs.
“ You can definitely talk about your own experiences or use them for inspiration. Remember that you’re talking to young girls, so they want to hear all about real relationships. They don’t need you to tell them that a fuckboy will suddenly fall in love with them and change his ways. But, I’m sure you all know that. Don’t use clichés, use real relationships and experiences.”
Noora notices that the other four girls are also smirking. She chuckles discreetly.
When Bea is gone, the girls are silent for a little while. Grace breaks the silence.
“Hm. Well, you know the thing she said about the captain of the football team? Well… My boyfriend was the captain of the football team and we met in high school, so… I can’t talk about my experience. Our love story is a rom-com.”
Grace bites her lips.
“No judgment, here. Charles was the captain of the basketball team, and we met  when I was 16.” Manon says.
“Well, seems like we have the same experience” Eleanora jokes. “Edo was a walking cliché when I met him in high school, and he still is.”
“It’s funny because I met Alex in high school too” Mia adds. “And yeah, I hated him, at first. And then we met, he ‘saw an angel’ as he loves to say and… he got me to fall for him.”
The girls laugh.
“Glad to see that I’m not the only one, then. I’m pretty sure you could write a TV show based on my relationship with William”
Noora laughs.
“So, we do not write that article based on our experiences, right?” Grace asks.
“Apparently not” Manon answers with a smirk.
“We have to introduce them tomorrow night, girls” Mia announces a bit later. “I’m so curious.”

EILEEN FARRELL
Tumblr media

“I’m in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we’re all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we’ll ever have, and I am in love with you.” - John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

“Then, one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...you give them a piece of you. They don't ask for it. They do something dumb one day like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore.” - Neil Gaiman, The Kindly Ones

“She didn't belong anywhere and she never really belonged to anyone. And everyone else belonged somewhere and to someone. People thought she was too wonderful. But she only wanted to belong to someone. People always thought she was too wonderful to belong to them or that something too wonderful would hurt too much to lose. And that's why she liked him-- because he just thought she was crazy.” - C. JoyBell C.

I love you, T.” - Nicholas Sparks, Message in a Bottle

“I suppose therefore that all things I see are illusions; I believe that nothing has ever existed of everything my lying memory tells me. I think I have no senses. I believe that body, shape, extension, motion, location are functions. What is there then that can be taken as true? Perhaps only this one thing, that nothing at all is certain.” - René Descartes
