9: How many foreign languages do you have to learn at school in your country?

Well, English is taught to us since we’re five, but my mom helped me learn colours and numbers in English as I learnt colours and numbers in Spanish too, haha. But in most schools here, English is a mandated course. if you want to learn any other language but english, you have to go to an academy apart from school.

13: What do you think about language learning/teaching at school in your country?

ahhhhh not the best. My first school was really good at it, and that helped me a lot, but when I changed schools the English level was very poor. My English level was around B1 when I was 14 and in this new school they were teaching us he/she/it :( So my mom enrolled me into an English academy until I got my B2 certification. Both my first school and that academy enforced a British accent and form of writing, hence why I usually write words like colours, neighbourhood, fortnight, etc.

french was really frustrating to learn in my country because there is zero opportunity to practice my speaking skills with anyone here. there are also small chances to use english here but i use it sometimes to help some of my friends or family. but french? i end up singing Maelle songs by myself </3

my reasoning is as follows:

S: in a perfect world all of them would live on my island, they’re my absolute faves, i love them and would d word for them

A: if i had room and all of my S tier villagers already they would be my next in line!!! i really really like them

B: “i just think they’re neat”, i like them a lot but definitely not enough to invite to my island permanently, though it’d be fun to be neighbors for a little bit (yes, i know raymundo is in this tier and let me just say before he moved in he was a c tier villager, but he’s really grown on me. if i came across him on an island instead of him being my 1st campsite villager though i wouldn’t have invited him)

C: there’s nothing wrong with them, they’re perfectly fine! i just don’t love them, but i definitely don’t hate them. nice villagers that appeal to me an average amount

D: their design or they themselves make me go 😬 but like i wouldn’t say i hate them...i definitely don’t like them though

F: disgusting, i really don’t like them at all, looking at them makes me feel uncomfortable

i know i made some ppl mad with this but it’s impossible not to bc everyone has such varying tastes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and for the record, it’s not that i hate maelle’s design or anything, i just have beef with her

when i was in france for exchange (2017) my host sister would promote the fact that i could draw. almost every immediate response was “can you draw me?” (in french of course). these are a handful of the drawings/portraits i made for people, each done in 10-15 minutes.

Oblivious to Icarus' predictions, Alice did indeed pick up contact with Maelle.

Perhaps if she had known he was brewing something up for her former mistress, she would've gone an extra safe mile and kept her out of the picture completely.

But she hadn't and so Maelle agreed to visit the grimdark Office for a moment to hear Alice's offer.

"I'm going to need your help, no matter what the outcome. If we do catch him, then I'll need someone fending Icarus off. I don't know what Adam has planned, but I doubt he can fully render him incapable, or at least for long.

And if we lose my target, I'll need your help to get him back. I'll reimburse you for every minute, Maelle."

"Indeed you will," Maelle said. "I will pick up contact with you again to let you know what I need."

And with that, she left.

It didn't bother Alice that Maelle was even more curt and emotionless then when they had first met, when the alien tyrant had actually put effort into seducing her to the dark side.

Whatever she was up to, it must be important. Alice didn't need to bother her unnecessarily, she just hoped it wouldn't reach its success climax when she needed Maelle's defense.

But never without plans, Alice had already prepared plan B, C, D and E. 

She was going to get god, one way or another and whatever the outcome of the upcoming showdown was, it would eventually serve to aid her.
