[Pheres (RS) embarks on a zombie-observation expedition with his new research assistant, Laledy (SS); an ex-soldier, Faizah (BB); and a local guide, Cennef (XR). When they decide to livestream the adventure in a group chat, things, as predicted, go horribly wrong.]

RS has attached VID345345.MOV! It's a quick pan of the camera over a dark, white-sanded desert. There's rock formations all around - a brief glimpse of a jadeblood and a brownblood, faces slightly blurred by the motion - and the sound of chattering off in the distance. The camera cuts when something whoops.

RS has started up a call! He's.. clearly using his cellphone to record the desert night, and the audio's been muted. They're still in the sand dunes, by the rock formation - but he turns the camera to beam into it, briefly, and then zoom in on Lal, who's speaking to his phone a few feet away.

CC: pretty.

SS: (Heyo!) Laledy waves at the same time as he sends the message, clearly speaking into his mic.

The footage of the stream keeps shaking as he trails behind Cennef's foxmom, and it keeps shifting away from the desert stretching out in front of them to capture things he thinks are even slightly interesting. A strangely shaped rock! Sand! A scorpion that he carefully kicks with his boot, and then scampers abruptly to the other side of foxmom when it raises its stinger in response.

Laledy takes the phone, orienting it at where he hears Pheres. It's somewhat off-angle, but gets most of the scene.

XR: I have Foxmom in case they swarm us but she can really only carry two trolls, even light as the pair of you are(edited)

Or, at least it gets most of the scene when Laledy isn't delightedly filming whatever foxmom is doing at any given moment. There is at least one candid of her yawning, with a dramatic zoom of her teeth.

The camera sort of catches Pheres fussing extraordinarily over the meat. It is rotting. It has flies. For all that the audio isn't on, it's not hard to tell he's displeased.

The screen goes white in a crackle of static, then clears as the light clears.

Lal fumbles the camera again, and it points vaguely in Pheres's direction.

For Faizah I'm playing with capo on fourth fret, and I wanted to play something constructed with careful music theory to highlight Faizah's deep knowledge of the town’s history but I'm no good at music theory so that idea was going down down in an earlier round😌, but then I had the idea of using keys, so I'm playing a (C- Dm -F - G) progression which belong to the key of C, and yeah here it is:

And last but not least Lucas, I believe I still have the capo on fourth fret, and for Lucas I'm playing an (Em - Am7 - Dm) progression, and at the end a (G chord), why you might ask? well to highlight that Lucas is very new to the whole monster hunting scene I used two of the very first chords I learned (Em - Am7) and to highlight Lucas' overall personallity I used the (Dm) chord and eventually him warming up to the MC in the future hence (G), here it is:

SURAT KEPUTUSAN 41.A/PPSB-TMI/DN/XII/2019 TENTANG HASIL TES SELEKSI MASUK TARBIYATUL MUALLIMIN/AT ALISLAMIYAH (TMI) PONDOK PESANTREN DARUNNAJAH TAHUN AJARAN 2020/2021

Dengan bertawakkal kepada Allah SWT. Kami Panitia Penerimaan Santri Baru Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Jakarta Selatan, setelah:

A. Memperhatikan 1. Hasil Tes Seleksi Masuk TMI Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Jakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. 2. Nilai Tes Al-Qur`an, Imla, Pengetahuan Agama dan Umum, Matematika, Wawancara, Bahasa Arab dan Inggris (lisan dan tulis). 3. Hasil musyawarah tim penguji seleksi masuk TMI Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021.

B. Menimbang 1. Bahwa untuk hal tersebut perlu segera mengeluarkan keputusan.

C. Memutuskan

Menetapkan 1. Hasil Tes Seleksi Gelombang Pertama masuk TMI Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Jakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. 2. Kelulusan dibagi menjadi empat kriteria; Lulus Murni, Lulus Bersyarat, Lulus di Darunnajah Cabang dan Tidak Lulus. 3. Peserta tes yang dinyatakan Lulus Bersyarat diwajibkan untuk mengikuti Bimbingan Belajar selama 5 (lima) atau 10 (sepuluh) bulan berturut-turut.

Keputusan ini tidak dapat diganggu gugat. Ditetapkan di Jakarta, pada tanggal 26 Desember 2019

[Kita Memang Tidak Sempurna]

Terkadang, kita baru akan tersadar bahwa waktu berlalu begitu cepat ketika kita telah melewati seluruh waktu yang kita punya. Begitupula aku di hari ini. Bersama mereka, sosok-sosok pemberi warna di departemen kesejahteraan mahasiswa dan lingkungan hidup, satu tahun perjalananku telah terlewati. Dan kini mungkin aku menjadi salah satu orang yang kan mengenang semua itu. Mengenang kisah-kisah yang pernah terlewati bersama wajah wajah ini.

Kisah ini mungkin bukanlah kisah terbaik diantara segenap kisah perjalanan lainnya di muka bumi, perjuangan kami pun mungkin belum banyak memberi arti, namun kehadiran mereka sungguh memberi arti, setidaknya dalam episode perjalananku kali ini.

Departemen ini berisikan 14 orang mahasiswa, jumlah terbanyak di BEMFMIPA, yang bahkan membuat bingung mengapa harus begitu banyak dibandingkan departemen lainnya yang memiliki proker begitu besar. Singkat cerita, departemen ini dibagi menjadi 3 divisi yakni divisi internal, advokasi, dan lingkungan hidup. Mengapa demikian? Karena sebetulnya ranah lingkungan hidup bemfmipa masih tahap persiapan sehingga masih melebur dengan misi advokasi dan pelayanan dari bemfmipa. Untuk itu, dept.kesmalingdup memiliki underbow yakni Komunitas Mahasiswa Berkebun yang bergerak di ranah lingkungan hidup dengan konsep urban farming. Kemudian divisi advokasi memiliki fokus utama sesuai namanya, melayani mahasiswa, kebijakan dan isu kampus, beasiswa dan sebagainya. Adapun internal, fungsi utamanya ialah mengayomi advokasi semipa serta memperkuat internal kesmalingdup itu sendiri. Begitulah kira-kira. (—-Jadi nyeritain kesmalingdup—-)

Singkat cerita lagi, kami tentu telah melewati banyak hal, dan dari semua itu tentu banyak evaluasi. Kami juga memiliki banyak mimpi, salah satunya beasiswa eksakta yang sedang dalam tahap pembangunan (?)

Dari sekian banyak hal itu, ingin sekali kugambarkan sosok mereka. Dari mulai Endra sang kepala departemen yang paling gregetan kalau anggotanya mulai ‘hilaf’ dan kurang gercep sampai terkadang ingin melakukan semuanya sendiri (?) Sang organisatoris yang dengan segenap amanahnya tetap bisa maksimal hampir di seluruh amanah yang diemban. Dia mungkin bukan sosok yang wah dan digandrungi, namun ia cocok menjadi teladan dalam hal organisasi. Sukses ndra buat amanahnya kedepan, semoga Allah selalu mengiringi amanah dengan segenap kekuatan dipundak yang mungkin pernah merasakan lelah.

Alvi, sang wirausahawan muda (aamiin). Beliau ini sosok penuh gelak tawa, alias kalau ketawa kedengeran sampai mana-mana. Anak sholehnya fmipa yang sangat amat semangat nagih pulsa macam depkolektor. Yeah~ Kalo inget alvi kebayangnya masih ada utang apa engga ya, takut ditagih gitu sampai keujung dunia haha. Malaikat izroil banget nih dia (peace alvi). Semoga suatu hari bisa jadi wirausahawan muda penakluk peradaban ya vi...Yassarallah....

Fadhil, om nya kesmalingdup. Gaya fadhil yang selalu apa adanya juga selalu bikin ketawa, karena mungkin dia dari lahir udah ditakdirkan jadi manusia yang gayanya kocak. Fadhil selalu ngebuat kumpul jadi seru, selalu paling gede mukanya kalo difoto apalagi kalau wefie haha (abis ini gue disambit fadhil kayanya). Awalnya mikir fadhil ini cuek, tapi ternyata dia itu care parah. Mba Ega, nah ini budenya kesmalingdup. Panggilan bude memang cocok abis sama karakter mba yang satu ini. Keibuan, cerewet, rame, bijaksana, perhatian, kepo (re: peduli) dan tegas itu bude banget. Paling klop sama tiara, padahal mereka juga suka bingung kenapa bisa klop. Bude juga satu kampung sama sesepuh kesmalingdup, yaitu kakek hadi (?) Jangan sering-sering sedih ya bude, biar senyum dan semangatnya tetap menghiasi kita, ea... Semangat buat bude :)

Evi. Whuah, kalau yang ini bisa satu buku deskripsinya. Lupa deh deket sama evi dari kapan saking deketnya, yang pasti kita satu kelas, satu kelompok kkn, satu departemen terus dari mulai maba. Evi juga ialah sosok emak-emak cerewet pengingat hidup tentang akademik, sahabat terunik, musuh tersayang, dan…apalagi ya. Udah ah nanti evi geer. (Peace) semangat terus ya Evi, semoga Allah selalu menjaga kamu dimanapun kamu berada. Semoga kamu bisa dateng pas akad aku ya (lah lah lah, mulai ngaco...lupakan)

Nofita, salut bin salut deh sama partner yang satu ini. Dulunya dia di departemen rohisnya biologi alias bio-C, tapi pas masuk bemf dan masuk kesmalingdup dia bisa survive dan total abis. Sosoknya nofita ini mengajarkan diriku sendiri bahwa dimana ada kemauan disitu ada jalan. Karena sebelum deket sama nofita awalnya ngira dia ini pemalu, tapi tahu lah yaa pas sudah deket mahh…. ternyata...... (isi sendiri ya nop, wehe) Selamat menempuh ke kecean selanjutnya nobi... jalan juang masih begitu banyak dan sepi, sepertinya masih butuh kamu untuk mengisinya disana. keep lanjutkan kekecean selanjutnya nop...

Delia, mba cantik penjaga si bakteri thypus Salmonella thyposa. Sempet khawatir pas delia bilang listrik kampus mati terus biakan bakterinya kena banyak air, ga kebayang kalau seandainya mereka beneran berenang-renang ya Allah. Mangats terus del sampai kelar penelitian! Moga kita bisa jalan-jalan lagi ya.. sehat-sehat terus ya del, hati-hati sama partner penelitian kamu… (btw aku ga punya utang kas kan deel? Iya kan del? Udah kamu anggep lunas kan deel?) wkwk maksa.

Tiara, temen pulang bareng kalau naik busway. Dulu mah sering ketemu, sering bareng, tapi ga tau kalo sebenernya tiara ini lumayan……rese. haha. Awalnya ngira tiara kalem gitu… tapi, tapi…. ya bisa dibayangkan sendiri.

Tiara ini klop sama mba ega, sama-sama gokil dan heboh kalau udah barengan. Dia juga aktif di organisasi sekitar rumah. kece lah pokonya. Besok besok lanjut bemun kan tir? Aha.. Semangat ya tir, kamu ngga pernah sendirian ko, ada banyak orang yang membersamai kamu disini (dimana?) disini lah ya pokonya... Semoga semua harapan berjalan seperti yang kamu inginkan... Kalau kita maen TODan lagi jangan curang ya tirr harus cerita lebih pokonya wwkwkwk

Rafiqa. Sebetulnya belum terlalu banyak tahu tentang rafiqa, karena belum pernah main TODan bareng 😂 but fiqa itu suka kucing, karena dirumahnya banyak kucing (?). Kapan-kapan kita TODan yuk fiq wkwk. Sosoknya itu ceria dan penuh misteri, mungkin karena aku belum terlalu kenal fiqa luar dalem kali ya.... But, seneng aja bisa kenal fiqa. 

Hani, duh ini sosok tangguhnya masya Allah. Dia selalu bisa menunjukkan ketegaran diatas semua yang dia pikirkan, dan menutupinya dengan keceriaan. Hani itu orang tercerewet dan termiring otaknya sebenarnya, tapi hmmm entah kenapa aku ngerasa kehilangan hani sejak…. sejak, negara api mulai menyerang (???) Maaf ya han kalau belum bisa jadi yang selalu ada disaat kamu butuh:“” All the best wishes for you, yassarallah han..."

Amel, biasa dipanggil Ameng. Sosok ameng yang lembut dan anggun selalu ngebuat kesma adem sih sebenernya. Ameng ini upin ipinan sama ijah, kemana-mana hampir selalu bersama kaya pinang dibelah dua. Ameng juga care dan keibuan. calon istri soleha deh dia kayaknya. heuheu... Semangat terus ya amengkuu...

Ijah. namanya faizah ukhti astari, tapi sering diganti sama kita jadi faizah ukhti kestari karena jobnya jadi sekre departemen. Tapi sih lebih seringnya dipanggil mamih ijah. Korea dan kocak itu ciri khasnya ijah. selama setaun kenal ijah ini, kayanya harus mulai berpikiran buat rontgen tangan kanan deh, bayangin aja dia ini kalo salaman suka banget bikin orang patah tulang :””” jadi mulai kepikiran sih jangan-jangan dia itu mamih tiri, suka jahat gitu sih abisnya whehe tapi biarpun kamu kaya ibu tiri, saranghaeo mam <3

Ratna. Hmmm, ratna ini sosok misterius dan paling ngangenin di kesmalingdup. satu kesan sekaligus pesanku sih buat nana, maaf ya na kalau kita belum bisa jadi tempat ternyamannya kamu seperti kamu ke anak matematika lainnya :’’’ but tempat ini akan selalu terbuka buat kamu, kapanpun kamu menginginkan untuk datang dan pulang. karena yang aku tahu, terkadang hebat bukanlah segalanya, karena tak perlu menjadi hebat untuk merasakan manisnya kebersamaan. cailah...jadi sedih deh. sukses terus ya naa pokonya :)

Alhamdulillah selesai sudah deskripsi sekaligus kesan pesan buat masing-masing pengisi didalam keluarga penuh warna ini. 

Senang bisa mengenal, berjumpa dijalan juang ini, dan bersama-sama menjalaninya selama satu tahun kepengurusan. Yang kutemukan dari lingkaran ini ialah persahabatan, dimana terkadang kehebatan tak berarti apa-apa, karena yang terhebatpun akan terkalahkan dengan yang selalu ada...

Mungkin amanah kita hanya sampai disini, tapi tidak dengan jalan juang kita. Di sisi manapun di bumi Allah, tetaplah melangkah dengan percaya bahwa diri kalian amatlah berharga. Semoga dimanapun perjalanan kalian selanjutnya, akan selalu ada penjagaan dan kemudahan dariNya... 

Maaf jika ada begitu banyak kesalahan dan kekuranganku yang mungkin pernah mengotori indahnya perjalanan ini. Semoga Allah mengampuni kita atas setiap kekhilafan, kelalaian dalam menjalankan amanah, ketidak pedulian yang mungkin masih menyingkapi, kelelahan yang terkadang mengikis tekad untuk menjadi militan, keegoisan yang terkadang tak dapat dihindari, ataupun segala kekurangan yang belum berhasil kita tutupi untuk dapat berkontribusi di jalan juang ini.... 

Terima kasih untuk berbagai warna yang telah kita lalui bersama, dari mulai canda, tawa, sedih, baper, marah, sampai kejadian left group yang pernah ada. Kita memanglah tidak sempurna, karena itu, Allah pertemukan kita untuk saling melengkapi dan saling menyemangati dalam menjalankan amanah bersama. Kalian sungguhlah pundi-pundi cintanya Allah dalam setahun perjalanan ini. Meski keluarga ini bukanlah segalanya, meski esok lusa mungkin akan ada keluarga-keluarga lainnya, semoga kalian takkan lupa dengan segenap episode kita....
