Freezing Death

Chris had just gotten back to the mansion from dealing with a hunter. Before finally chasing the hunter off, they had shot him with a bullet laced with wolfsbane. He thought he had healed completely, but something still felt off. His whole body was cold. He was constantly shivering. He noticed that his right hand was turning blue and had some frost forming.

He knew what it was. It was a rare form of wolfsbane. One that led to a slow and painful death. Freezing from the outside in.

Chris stared at his hand as the frost slowly continued growing when he accidentally bumped into Aria on his way to his room.

"Oh, sorry." He mumbled, hoping she didn't notice his now freezing skin.

Aria glared at the man who had her. she was chained to the floor and growled. She looked over and saw Ethan and Jackson chained up and Lori bloody. "I'll kill you," she snarled. Her eyes glowed red as if her alpha side was dormant until she found them.

"though if I don't get a chance to my fiancee and boyfriend who's a Greek god by the way will do the job," she yanked on the rope and winced when she felt mountain ash in the ropes

Vivian sat on a bench under one of the trees in the ASI courtyard, admiring her handy work for the first time. In being consumed by her research, her hospital schedule, and also still processing the events of PC, it left little time for her to sit back and actually marvel at what she'd created. The company was still in it's early stages, having only been open a few months, but it was already so much more than she could have imagined. There was still much to finish about the business including a few more floors that needed finalizing, but overall it was doing well, and Viv was proud.

She took a sip from her thermos and checked her phone, waiting for Chris. The elder vampire had asked him to meet her here for a surprise. She'd kept her business dealings on a need-to-know basis, only talking to her business associates and investors, less it didn't pan out how she'd wanted. Now that her dream had become tangible, she couldn't wait to show her younger brother... and maybe do a little more than show him.

Her upper torso sprawled across the café table as she watched the world pass by through the front window. Unemployment was really starting to take its toll on Ciara's sanity. So much so, that she could have sworn she was hallucinating when she spotted a familiar set of blond curls walking down the street outside. Blinking, the image didn't go away. "Holy shit," she whispered, before scrambling away from the table and heading straight outside, her bag completely forgotten. "Christopher Robin Winters," she called out with all her might, not caring who stared at her.

Charlie had been scowling since she got a hold of the gossip paper. She made her way to Chris’ and knocked on the door, hoping her brother would answer. When he opened the door, she threw the paper in his face. “Are you kidding me?!?” she yelled. “You knew how I felt! Do you just not care?”

Was it a bit much to be showing up at this guy's place unannounced? Probably. But given James had lost his sister for a year, he wasn't about to let any more time pass. Not letting himself have any more doubts, he rapped on the door of an apartment, foot tapping as he waited.

As soon as a man opened the door, James raised a brow. "You Chris Winters? I'm James. Emma's brother. I wanna talk."

"Ahhh, it's okay," she shrugged, "it's kinda nice, weirdly enough. Reminds me of my childhood.... Although, if you tell me the same thing in a few hours, I might have a different answer," she teased, looking up to him casually. Viv and Chris hadn't really talked about Daphne much in the last few months. The elder vampire wondered how Chris continued to fair in the absence of his mentor. She tried as much as she could to fill that role and care for him, but Viv knew it would never be the same. A part of her envied her younger brother, though. To long for a sire like Daphne, to even have had a sire like Daphne seemed like a far off dream to Viv.

"Lead the way," she added with a smile as they began walking. "It was fine, just a few car accidents that had come in at the last minute. One guy lost a lot of blood but we were able to get him stable... hence the starvation," she added. "How's your night been? Staying out of trouble, I hope?"

"I promise I won't tell anyone if you want to ditch it. Daphne told me about wearing them in the past." She'd said they weren't always completely horrible but that they also were less than comfortable. His smile slipped a little bit as Chris reminded himself of how much time he'd spent just listening to Daphne's stories. Maybe in the future he should ask Viv about where she'd been before she came to VC. "I'm pretty sure it's this way." Chris squeezed her arm as they started to walk. "Was everything ok at the hospital?"

It had been about a year since Chris and Aria had broken up, and Aria had left the pack. Chris had spent a few months broken before he finally got back to his normal self. He was getting ready for a trip to Australia to visit family for the holidays, when his mother asked if he could bring Aria. He had stumbled over his words, trying to get out that they're no longer together, but ended up failing and telling her he would bring her.

Chris knew that River and Matteo were still in contact with Aria. So, he used one of their phones to send her a text to meet up, failing to tell her who it was. Now, here he was, waiting at the cafe they used to go to all the time. When he saw her enter the cafe, he stared at for a few minutes before pushing back old feelings and approaching her.

"Hey, Aria." Chris said nervously.

"How is that even a question, Chris? You're the first person i've really let myself get close to since I was freed from Marius. You know more about me than probably anyone in the city. And as much as you get on my nerves because of your impulses, you're the closest thing I have to family. If that's not close, I don't know what is."

Gotcha! My total misunderstanding. I've only ever ridden for leisure, never for work, but I can imagine that my attempts at dismounting would lead to a pretty hilarious gag reel if horses were a part of a project I was working on! I'm relieved to hear that, big Star Trek fan and I'd be gutted if Chris Pine disliked me! How's your week been?!

I know I think half of that was me teasing. I caught on pretty early it was the dismounting causing you the most struggle. Cant blame you in that, particularly when you are filming does it pose a certain struggle. Yes we can certainly still be friends.

“Is that my adorable nephew?” Charlie grinned as she walked over to Chris and went to take the baby from his arms before anything else. “Have you already grown since the last time I saw you?” she chuckled as she held him and poked his nose with the other hand. She then finally turned to her brother. “It’s good to see you, how are you holding up?”

clingy!chris who can watch you shower without thinking anything sexual. he sits outside the tub on the clean little bath mat, watching you lather shampoo onto your hair. the water droplets dripping down your bare body didn’t faze him, neither did the way your nipples perked under the shower. he rambles to you about his day sitting cross crossed while you rub bubbly soap all over you. he toothily smiles as he talks, recalling his long day. he helps dry you off when you’re finished too, grabbing your pink hello kitty towel and wrapping your naked body in it. he sits you at the vanity he built for you, you applying your skincare while he combs/brushes your wet hair. he braids it messily with a cute pink rubber band at the bottom. something so simple as being in your presence after a tiring day was enough to make chris feel full again.
